A hero is one who works for the betterment of society and the wellbeing of others. Heroes are relatively good, and their actions show this. A hero goes above and beyond to maintain peace and safety in communities.

A villain is a nefarious individual, that works either for the forces of evil or in an evil manner. Villains may have a positive goal, but if they implement it in a way that harms others, then they are still "bad."

A renegad is neither a hero nor a villain. For any of a number of reasons, they do not fit squarely into one of the two groups. Perhaps they are morally apathetic, or ambiguous. Any character that doesn't fall under hero or villain can be found here.

Human characters are those that, at least in their origin, are of the species Homo sapiens. Even those humans that have special abilities or genetic makeups can be found here. It is up to the character’s creator to determine if their character is so far beyond human that they no longer qualify as such. Metahumans, augmented humans, ascended humans, sorcerors, half-humans, demigods, and others can be found here.

These are characters who can control one or more elements and/or other natural substances with their minds. Examples include pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, cryokinesis, aerokinesis, electrokinesis, terrakinesis, and so on.





These are characters that have beyond-human physical and intellectual abilities. Examples include super strength, super speed, super reflexes, super senses, hyper intelligence, and so on.





These are characters who can heal themselves, others, objects, or the environment. Examples include regeneration, damage reversal, environmental restoration, healing auras, and so on.
