I wait another Eon [Aeon]
Alpha questioned to himself for a moment why he was even meeting with this person. True enough they had their uses as a business partner, but then again they were not so important that he should waste his time rescheduling things just to meet him. He would have made Oliver or Chris deal with them, yet Chris was busy with whatever it was that had him moving around and Oliver was likely doing his own thing. "I swear, Lucius might be right about all of this." Just thinking back to that made his throat ache, but that sensation would pass as all phantom pains did. This person had said it was important, but he did not know what exactly they had in mind. Digging through their mind with telepathy would have been easier, but that required him being a little closer than a few dozen miles to actually connect.
The hiss of a door opening broken the silence as Alpha turned to see none other than Chris standing there. "You're actually here? I thought you would be busy with whoever it was that has your time." Travis said with a slight teasing edge to his tone, while adjusting the tie hanging down from around his throat. Keeping himself within that usual clean image was something that he would not break. If anything he enjoyed projecting a clean image to those around him, if only because it kept people aware of his professional nature. His dirty blond hair was styled in the usual manner, and his face was meticulously groomed to be free of any stray facial hairs.
"People have lives, and sometimes those lives take a less than favorable turn." Chris answered in usual cryptic manner with a shrug before taking himself a seat. "I'm surprised you haven't employed your usual methods of stalking to find out anything."
"Now that is a low blow." Travis noted with a soft chuckle. "Besides, I'm sure those gossip magazines will have the information soon enough. I won't even have to lift a finger." In a sense that was true, and he enjoyed when things could just work out on their own time. With all preparations done, he did a once over with his hair before making a gesture that was reminiscent of asking well what do you think?
"You're looking sharp Mister Masters. Out for some business?"
"Indeed I am. This forced me to push a few of my other plans back, which I imagine I will have to apologize profusely for later." Apologies were not something he was too comfortable with giving out, but then again as the actor he was not quite allowed to let his comfort distract what had to be done. Some of the relations were advantageous and some of them were more for his own personal comfort, which in a sense was why he kept them. "Well, good luck with whatever is going on with your life. I have a less than savory businessman to deal with." Just thinking back he remembered that the last time this happened, it was a trap from a half baked vigilante. If it was the same this time, well he would have to find out.
The ride there was short but comfortable, the restaurant had been rented out entirely for the evening. A show of wealth to be sure, but he was not so impressed by that. Within the dining room the man was sitting, dressed much like him but twice his age easily. It appeared he was unique within the fact of his age, but that didn't inhibit his ability to deal really. "Mr.McAllister, to what do I owe the pleasure of this meeting?" Already he was picking through their thoughts, both deep and surface. Something was going on, but they had not meant to make a trap out of this. He feared someone was targeting him, likely for angering a person that he had been working with. Sitting down, Travis rested his hands on the table while letting his dull gray eyes bore into the males piercing green orbs. The real business was about to begin, and they had an interesting fact they should not know within that mind.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
McAllister. The target was a business man by the name of McAllister, and a rather infamous one as well. It was most unfortunate that an enigmatic organization made a decision on their "old associate". Unfortunately their relationship had grown quite venomous, and now they needed to cut off the blighted branch of the tree. Sacrifice the corrupted area to save the whole. McAllister had long been a thorn in the side of not only this organization, but was a scourge on human kind. His continual two-faced nature being the only thing that kept him in positive light with the masses. The people were fooled, the world loved the cancer which plagued them so. But in grace they would be saved. This is where he came in. This is where Time would be rewritten. This is the assignment of Aeon.
Aeon took note of the text that flashed on his goggles like a one-way mirror. His mouth, nose and eyes covered by the same tempered material as his combat suit. Some small portions metal, others a strangely augmented glass, other parts Kevlar and reinforced woven nanometric polycloth. Dark colors held to him, dark grey, deep carmine strips and insignia's over his shoulders and the back of his gloved hands. Black and deep navy blues ever so systematically placed on the suit while his armor was adorend on him. Over the armor was a dark green harness with several weapons attached and clips of ammunition, as well as pouches like a soldier's gear. Over all of that was a black trench coat that seemed to mix in well with the night sky. This was the look of the man on a mission. A mission he would not fail.
Aeon's first goal was to get into the building. It was fortunate, however, that his entrance was none other than the rooftop entrance of the fine establishment. Simply crawling up the side of the building, he took great care to avoid being noticed, though once he was atop the roof there was nothing stopping him but a half rusted lock and a door to the stairwell that lead downstairs. Ripping the old rusty metal from the door, and then breaking off the door handle itself, Aeon slipped in the building undetected. Making his way silently down the stairs he kept his ears open and focused in on his sense of sound. There was a lot going on, but Aeon gathered what he needed. He was alone in the stairwell, and so now he could progress.
Eventually sneaking from the door, he managed to get a good glimpse of the dining area. It was a fine establishment to be sure. The area was empty. White walls, immaculate art as a mantel and the roof itself seemed to remind Aeon of the age of the renaissance. Angels on clouds, marble columns and posh granite floors that had been waxed and polished to the point they could see one's own reflection. Security was tight in the area, but they were not seen easily. In fact the only reason Aeon could see them at all was because of the reflections on the floor. His target was in the center of the room, but for now Aeon was content to reach around his wrist and unsnap his Rolex, dropping it on the ground and prompting a sound to draw a guard from their location. Aeon waited as they came around the corner, and as they did, time slowed. Aeon watched as they came to a crawl, their gun was up, but they hadn't even registered what to do yet. Aeon quietly moved his Atterium arm and pushed the trigger of the gun on the side, the piece bending and snapping off, the small metallic crescent spooling through the air. The Atterrium arm then came up and gave the most gentle tap to the man's neck. Finally, Aeon moved his other arm, and the guard's throat convulsed before they dropped into him, dead.
Aeon quickly pulled the body inside before laying it down silently and proceeding on. The time of death was nigh.

----------------------------------
Your target has a meal scheduled with the CEO of Master's Pharmaceuticals. Your target is a five foot, eleven inch male with dark brown hair, transitioning to grey with age. Their eyes are green. They are easily identified by the dragon tattoo that wraps around their right arm. Their company specializes in innovative technologies, despite their not being the best, they still produce some revenue. This company has brokered some unique success and salvation from several events which are equated to sheer chance. However his company recently made it to the upper echelon through such means. Your target had dealt with the underworld representatives and even our own organization in order to arrange his unearned success, and now he has made an error most grievous. Rumors surrounding your target indicate an interest and a brief knowledge of the occult. Your target is right-hand dominant, and is fully aware that we are coming for him.
We wish you a favorable statistical outcome.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
He knew the words the man would speak before they came from his mouth really, but then again there were formalities to be met. Their information network was impressive, or he was dealing with someone pulling the strings that was far greater than the man before him. "I'm glad you came. I'm sorry if I inconvenienced you but this is an important matter I'm sure you wouldn't want to be left in the dark on." As much of a snake as they were, Alpha could give them credit where it was due. They talked smooth, and used that to their advantage no matter who they were using it on. Were he anyone else, well Travis would have been more inclined to listen to the drivel they would speak.
"Well you said it was important for both of our futures, so I assumed it was something I needed to prioritize." As always he kept a level tone, aware of the measures the male had in place. "Your security is top notch as ever. Though I have to ask, is something wrong?" his eyes darted towards one of the black suited men that served as security, a small jolt moving along his spine. He knew what they were afraid of, but then again it was better to be told than anything else.
"Nothing you need to worry yourself with Mr.Masters." They assured with a small motion of the hand as they were brought something small to eat. Food was his way and he did know how to tickle a person's fancy. It was a soup of sorts, though a cursory glance showed that it was a sort of seafood dish. Whether you asked the façade or Alpha, both held an interest within seafood really. There was no poison in the food, that much he could tell from digging through the minds of everyone within his reach. "I hope the food is to your liking."
"It's looks good, but I doubt food is the reason you brought me here." He would strike to the heart of the matter really, once the one that had brought the food in here made their leave. A single taste was enough to show the food was of high quality. A small smile slipped across his lips, though it was more genuine than the usual. At the very least, he would be able to enjoy the decorum of the place while listening to the male blabber. Everything about the place seemed to tickle him in the right way.
"No, it's a favor I wanted to ask you actually." They folded their hands and let them rest on the table, Travis raising a single curious eyebrow waiting for them to name what it was they wanted. Smug anticipation was within the air as he waited. "I've come across a rather nasty rumor, about you actually. It's information that suggests an association with a certain unsavory criminal element." So they revealed their master plan, though it wasn't a very well thought out one. Slight surprise bloomed across his face, though that was faked for their sake so they would continue to spout their nonsense. They didn't know the truth, but they did know a few things that were unsavory.
"That's quite the rumor you've heard there McAllister but why tell me? Is it to protect my sterling image or something else?" His tone was shaking slightly, as if he were trying to play it off. "Is this your attempt to blackmail me or something more?"
"Blackmail is such an ugly word. I prefer to see it as incentivising cooperation."
That is bullshit and you know it. He thought to himself with a small amount of anger showing when he clenched onto his own leg tightly while keeping composure within his facial expression. "Well, you have my attention."

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
All fell silent for the moment at hand. Aeon let out a little growl as he began to contemplate the nature of this meeting. The body lay at his feet as he turned to make his exit. In his advanced mind he was already paying out the situation as it would happen. He'd step out the door and stand still, observe his surroundings. He remembered there being a path left where an armed guard sat around the corner, posted with a loaded assault rifle. Then he recalled the path to the right, where there was yet another guard of sorts. This one was stationed with a clasp, a set up of sorts. Perhaps it was meant for someone at this meeting. Aeon didn't calculate his move yet. He simply stepped outside and stood still, allowing time to come to a halt once more. Turning he looked at his options, and then finally he looked past the railing at his target. He was sitting at a table, with a guest across from him. Aeon quickly began putting things together and realized the purpose of the stationed soldier was not by accident.
Is he...intending to kill that man?Aeon questioned to himself a moment. The weight of life was something he learned to balance. There was his duty, and then there was what was right. Aeon always attempted to make the two see eye to eye. Unfortunately, this day they did not see eye to eye. He could take out the solider that was likely a threat to the man having dinner with his target; though this assured his presence was revealed. If his presence were revealed there was always a chance that his target would escape. Of course there was the chance if he took out the other guard that he could do something about the would-be assassin. It was possible the person was only to assassinate under a condition...however with him suddenly being under attack it would up the chance of mortality for the "innocent". His goggles slowly shifted as Aeon made his decision. For better or worse...
Aeon bolted over, his feet virtually silent against the carpet as his arms pumped. Lunging through the air, arms out as he full-bore tackled the set up soldier on the right, spearing him away form his weapon. Aeon hit the man with such concussive force that he actually managed to flip over the man and reach for the knife attached in his boot. Picking it up he tossed it in the air a little as he stayed as still as possible. The guard on the other side turning around the corner with his gun raised. The hired gun fired. Time crawled as the bullet came through the air. With his Atterrium arm, Aeon reached up and plucked the military blade from the air and positioned it in line with the bullet. After he was sure it was perfectly aligned he turned it do the curved tip pointed upwards and then flicked the knife, causing it to move at a steady speed in what should be a severely slowing down world. To speed up the process, Aeon moved his arm of flesh and blood, watching the knife pierce through the bullet and plant itself in the man's forehead. Aeon grunted as the two shards of bullet hitting the ground on either side of him.
If they didn't know he was here before...they did now.
Quickly Aeon bolted for the left path, running at full sprint. As he flew past he bent down and drew the knife from the man's forehead with a twist, blood splattering everywhere as flesh and bone fragment joined in the seeping blood as it adorned the carpet. Following the hallway he came across a door to the emergency exit. Quickly slamming his Atterrium shoulder into it. The door pushed out, bubbling around him as he plowed through with no mercy. With a shrug the door shoved off his arm and Aeon looked about. Another small area on the outside with stairs leading down to the ground floor. Aeon looked about a moment and grunted as he resorted to simply go around the building, by means of crawling. With his Atterrium fingertips and a knife in the other hand he dug into the side of the building and scaled over abour six windows in space. With a powerful pull of his Atterrium arm he managed to propell himself up and crashed through a window.
Glass shards around him he stood in a white room, freshly painted and ready to be remodled. With a sigh Aeon continued to walk through, clearing the door and reaching a new area that overlooked the dining hall where the target and their guest were likely still eating. What Aeon didn't know was that the sniper he killed was simply precaution in case Travis attempted to do anything to the target. However right now Aeon had other "problems" to worry about. Problems directly related to this "guest" of his target.

It was rare that he instantly wanted to kill someone like this, but then again people rarely wanted to blackmail him. So rather than just giving into that, he would have to hold back on the bloody murder until he was sure things would go in a more favorable fashion. While this man was gutsy, they were likely not stupid and that meant there was some manner of insurance to protect them against some kind of metahuman power should they be revealed. That was why he had released the small pulse over the room, scoping out a vague map of the area around him to get a feel over everyone and thing within the area. Within the immediate vicinity there was nothing really, save for a few chairs and tables which showed mostly that this room would usually seat more than just one. Likely, one of his siblings had thought of following after hearing about this little meeting, but then again that was just him considering the possibility.
Half of his attention was on McAllister, who was likely speaking their diabolical plan to exploit Travis Masters but then again he was only planning to listen to him for a certain amount of time. Not as if they had much concrete evidence against him, and any that he did could have been dealt with easily enough. Likely they did not know he was a metahuman, so perhaps they were more trying to get him with indistinct leads that were dead ends more than anything else. "Well, it's good that you are so reasonable." They said, with an air of almost painful smugness within their voice. It took all of his self control to keep from scowling at the very tone really. Instead, all he did was stir the seafood soup around with the rather fine silverware as the murky broth would move around the chunks of what appeared to be some manner of fish. His appetite however had left him as soon as blackmail had been brought into the equation.
"Well, you make it sound as if you expected me to be unreasonable." A small amount of amusement within his voice. Had they really done their homework on the person they were trying to exploit or were they less intelligent than he had thought? That was of course when he heard something, a rather distinctive sound that caused his heart to skip a beat for a second. A gunshot but then again he was not dead, so that meant that it was not aimed at him. The surprise that flooded over the face of the male sitting across from him only revealed that he was equally surprised as he was by the development really. Dull gray eyes would widen for a second before he realized that this may have not been the desired response for them either. This was proven by the male pushing his chair back as if trying to stand up. "This is sounding very unfavorable for you." He noted with a smirk, almost amused by this development as he cloaked himself within telekinetic energy.
Now should any bullets come his way, well they could do nothing against him really. While that went on the telekinetic tendrils of his mind invisibly slithered along as they would find the man's phone which was in his front, right pocket. "That's quite the change of tone, considering who has the upper hand here."
"Wow, you think you have the upper hand here? Then I suppose it fills me with regret to tell you that is far from true." Their chair would slip as they careened onto the ground. "Well you wanted something from me. So what exactly is that?"

Zeta

Omega was known for worrying about every potential problem and so he sent someone to make sure nothing went wrong. Against what people would consider conventional wisdom he sent out Zeta with specific orders to make sure that nothing went wrong with the mission. Dressed up for the job he chose a dark gray colored shirt with a black leather jacket over that and a pair of dark blue cargo shorts, with a dagger strapped to his thigh. He also had a gun, though the pistol itself was a .10 millimeter with a silencer at the end to make the job itself silent. He was supposed to be quiet with his job, likely to deal with the crooked businessman should they try anything against Alpha. With his skills and pyrokinesis on hand, well that would make things a little easier on him.
After that, all he needed to do really was make use of a few stealth skills to sneak into the restaurant. However that took longer than he would have liked and there was suddenly a gunshot that made him have to hurry faster. Where he ended up was an area overlooking the dining hall, giving him a view of Travis as well as someone else, and then his eyes fell upon a masked person. "Well this is no good." He muttered quickly removing the dagger from it's strap and brandishing it skillfully. "Looks like I'm dealing with an assassin tryin to kill Travis." Omega was not wrong to worry about things it would seem, but then again he had no time to worry about details. Taking off forward with considerable speed, Zeta would let a small jet of flames from his feet propel him forward, using this flame to turn himself midair as he unleashed a torrent of fire at the target.
--
It was rare that he instantly wanted to kill someone like this, but then again people rarely wanted to blackmail him.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
Aeon watched his target a moment, looking over them with slight interest and ensuring that everything was going as planned. The order had been given, and so Aeon would strike out. But only a fool struck the moment a weakness was exposed. A true hunter waited for the moment in which the weakness could be best utilized. There was a moment to breathe as he observed. Putting his hand to his ear cover he manages to press the button that projected his hearing a little. He managed to get the last part of a sentence that said "Blackmail is such an ugly word. I prefer to see it as incentivising cooperation." To this Aeon could only truly think one thing...
Incentivising? That's not a word. Yeah, he needs to die. He is a terrible waste of human intelligence. Incentivising....Incentivising. No. Just no. Aeon couldn't even concentrate to hear what Alpha said in return. He was so engrossed by the concept that this waste of human life just made up a word and yet somehow is intelligent enough to run a company. Aeon never thought he'd reach the day where he was glad to take another man's life. Unfortunately today he was. Today, Aeon avenged the English language. Though it was something that would have to wait, as Aeon looked at the glass and noted a reflection of bright color. The slow of time was impacted, though quickly Aeon moved his Atterrium arm and turning just the right way, opening his hand up and covering his head with the bionic appendage. Then he knelt down, making himself as small as possible, instantly speeding the flames up and engulfing him in the rather mundane fire. The Kevlar in the suit being fire retardant saved him a bit of grief, as this was just a standard flame. His head was saved through the salvation of the Atterrium arm. Bringing the arm down, Aeon stood up and looked to the flying man.
A dagger in hand, a leather jacket and dark blue cargo shorts. What an odd fashion statement to bring to life, let alone a battlefield. Aeon's eyes narrowed behind the goggles as lights flashed to help identify things. A bright white digital box surrounded Zeta while a little bar and info popped up. Then there was a similar box around the dagger and around his feet, which flames spewed from. Aeon looked back over his shoulder a moment before looking back to Zeta. This seemed to be an enforcer of sorts. Perhaps something here to protect his target from the wrath he incurred. Quickly in his advanced mind, Aeon began thinking over the information he could gather, from facial expression to what had occurred to the man's posture.
Pyrokinetic. Armed with a common place dagger. Mis-matched clothing and messy black hair. Common personality traits include hot-headed, arrogant, repugnant and vulgar. Flames from feet to emulate jump thrusters indicates cunning, basic intellect required. Basic fighting stance, defensive maneuver. Arm compact in, other arm out, knife in reverse hold. Skill and training probable. Finally there was an evaluation box at the bottom that blinked three times before beeping and turning solid with the word Minor next to it. In the next breath the words were gone and Aeon focused in on this new threat. Aeon let out a sigh as he stood up, his stance not like that of a fighter, but rather that of a man on a mission. He didn't need to kill this one. He didn't want to kill this one. This one was not his target.
Aeon flourished his combat knife, holding it in a reverse grip with the edge in. Then reaching down he pulled out what appeared to be a pocket knife and held it in a rather unusual grip. The grip was palm reinforced, thumb on the mid of the hilt while the index finger seemed to sit at the base of the blade. The middle finger sat at the bottom of the knife by the thumb. The surrounding area was rather bare, fire had caught on a table and on the carpet. There was a metallic trash-can, a few other circular dining tables, a wooden ladder and a bucket of paint or two with some caution ribbon. Hammers and a large toolbox filled with odds and ends. The room itself looked half finished, half of the area was beige with old paint while the remodeled area now it had a grey-blue cream appearance. The white trim seemed to catch easy enough as well, likely made of wood. The way that the fires moved around Aeon definitely played to the shadows and flickers that made Aeon seem all the more terrifying and intimidating.
"You don't need to die with him. Stand down. Please." Aeon beseeched him, truly wanting this to be simple. McAllister was going to die. It was only a matter of time.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
The masked assailant appeared to take his attack with a certain grace or with enough skill to make it apparent that they defended themselves against his flames which were rather mundane compared to what they could have been. Landing with a small thump, Zeta quickly moved into a defensive stance as if preparing for them to quickly launch an attack like many that withstood his flames tended to do. Fingers gripped around knife, eyes scanning for any weakness within the males fighting stance while he made sure to keep the few he had from being too exploitable. Flames danced along the edge of the blade, likely heating the steel up as well as extending from the tip of the blade. Everyone had weaknesses within their stances, but the question was finding out what they were. Lining up the tip of the blade towards the male, he thought out many ways by which he could take him down and the possibilities lined up within his head.
His mind was also taking in everything around him, from hammers to even the tables that could be used to his advantage. What they said had made it clear they planned to kill Travis, and that meant he would have to deal with them now. Drawing in breath, Aaron let it whistle through his teeth while tightening up his stance once again. "Sorry to disappoint ya, but he's not dying today." Zeta noted with a smirk as the flames around his dagger would ignite brighter and within an instant he took into account the flames that were remaining around the male. Some of them had caught onto the wall, crackling and burning while casting their own light to make them look even more menacing. It would have been a lie to say that he was not intimidated, but then again he also had to stay strong to protect his fearless leader from this masked dude.
"I doubt you're gonna just walk away, so that means I need to make you leave." With a simple motion of the hand, flames would dance along the floor from the ones that remained lit around Aeon. They would leap upwards with the intent only to distract him, aimed for the eyes while Zeta darted forward with impressive speeds. He would reach for what appeared to be one of the paint containers which was still halfway full of paint, hefting it with his free hand. Alright, let's hope this shit is flammable. He thought to himself with slight urgency while turning upon his heels to fling the paint bucket towards the male with all of the strength available within his arm. If it was flammable, well he had a small firebomb hurting towards Aeon, as he would ignite it as soon as it got close. However, if it was not flammable, well he still flung a lot of fire towards Aeon, so maybe that would slow him down to some degree.
Regardless, he would go back into a defensive stance after that one.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
The opponent moved, as did their flames. The flames first, then they followed suit. As the fire began to rise Aeon glanced at them. They seemed to be aiming right for his eyes, something he anticipated was in attempts to destroy him, or roast him alive. Cocking his Atterrium wrist he leisurely threw the combat knife, releasing it as it slowly began to glide through the air. The knife seemed to move through the flames, parting them like liquid in the air as it passed. Aeon had but a moment to decide what to do. Follow the knife, or part in the other direction for a more strategic view. That made sense, though Aeon had more faith in his abilities than before. Perhaps it was time to be a bit more risky. His decision made, Aeon repositioned his shoulder, ducked his head down and charged with his shoulder, attempting to ram through the flames.
His success in this was assured, however it did come at a cost in it's own right. As Aeon plowed through the flames with impressive speeds, he turned only to find a paint bucked flying his way. Freezing in his tracks he took a moment to try and find his knife while fire enclosed on the paint can. He found it to be not that far away from Zeta actually. He had missed his attacker, though not by much. With that in mind, Aeon quickly began to deal with the threat at present. Using his Atterrium arm he reached out and began to think the situation over. Time was running short, and he had to think of something fast, but alas he was running out of ideas. Thankfully this explosion wouldn't kill him due to the combat armoring he wore. Unfortunately he had to worry about other factors.
The explosion went off and all Aeon could do was hope that he guarded his head from the blast well enough. A moment later he was still breathing, so that was good. Aeon looked around to find that he had been knocked off his feet. Paint was splattered everywhere as the strange blue was splattered over his armor. The concussive force caused his body to ache, though he was far from finished, despite his natural arm being dislocated. While time was stilled, Aeon reached over and relocated his arm quickly, not letting his opponent see it out of it's functional state. Aeon then turned his attention to the atmosphere of the room. The paint fumes were hazing through the air as the fire burned. His opponent didn't think that through that well he would say. Pain fumes caused a high and caused eyes to water, irritation breathing and overall discomfort as well as proved to be rather fierce cancer activating agents. Aeon was safe due to the cover over his mouth and nose, as well as his goggles. Zeta, however, was not so readily equipped it would seem. Aeon tossed his combat knife into the air and then stopped walking, holding still for a moment before reaching for the knife with the Atterrium arm and throwing it with considerable strength, meaning that fierce speeds would be generated, speeds faster than he could run most likely.
"You are not the target." Aeon announced as the knife sped through the air, a sharp whistle sounding through the air as the knife aimed for the top of Zeta's shoulder. The damage was mostly to distract and give some torque to force Zeta to off-set. The actual damage itself wouldn't be bad if it connect really. It was just a chance for Aeon to run up and punch Zeta in the chest with his Atterrium arm, that likely sending Zeta into the wall if it connected. From there it would depend on what happened, but Aeon was pretty close, and he would likely head for one of his two knives next.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
The explosion would resound through the room, and usher into the equation a whole new problem that he had not factored into the equation. Within the heat of the moment, Zeta did not consider the fact that setting paint on fire would release some hindering agents into the air. His nostrils began to burn while his eyes began to water, his mind beginning to reel in the face of the mistake that he had made. There had to be a way to bounce back from this, but he could not really think of that when he was beginning to grow lightheaded as he was pushed back by the sheer force of the explosion. It appeared that the person that he was against was also caught within the explosion, but they weren't as damaged as he would have liked to have them be. A voice would speak, saying something about him not being the target as the blade itself sunk into the top of his shoulder with enough force to make him stumble.
He could feel the sharp pain of the weapon digging into his flesh, some blood welling around the entry while his eyes would settle upon the figure barreling towards him. There was no time to react really as the fist collided with his chest, the sound of metal slamming into him as Aaron was thrown back against the wall. All of the air had been pushed out of his lungs as paint shot through his back which hurt like hell. Now there was a lot of pain going around everywhere, and that meant he didn't have much time to react really. "Ow fuck." Zeta cursed under his breath as he pressed himself back against the wall he was thrown against, preparing for them to rush him again.
On and on they went about targets, but then again that was incredibly vague more than anything. His lungs were beginning to burn and that meant that there was going to be some damage from all of this.Grabbing onto the combat knife, teeth were grit as he ripped the weapon from the wound with a strangled growl as blood spurt from it. "Okay, you're going to pay double for that one." He promises letting flames form along his hand before pressing that hand against the wound, forcibly cauterizing it rapidly. Sure, the burn wasn't that painful but it still hurt enough to annoy him. Still, it was obvious this guy was more skilled than him, which meant Aaron would have to get a little creative with how he went about this. The fact he was getting light headed made none of this better really. Gathering flames within his hands, Zeta created a powerful sweep of fire forward that would likely fill the room before him, leaving a small gap for him to run. Unholstering his gun Zeta would fire off a few rounds into the flames where he remembered Aeon being.
If he couldn't contend with the fumes, then he could only really leave the room that was filled with him. Looking for an exit, his eyes fell upon what looked to be a door of some sorts not obfuscated by flames, and broke into a dash towards that. His mind wad focused upon that really, and so he made some good time in that endeavor.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
Aeon found himself in a rather harsh situation. There was a sudden torrent of flame gathering in the man's hands. Aeon didn't have much room for escape here. Perhaps he did actually. Aeon found himself curious as to why this man was so intent on interscepting him. This brought to mind the concept that Aeon could always just leave it be in order to pursue his target. They were just behind the window and down a flight. It was that or be baked alive. Standing still Aeon's heart beat slowly as time came to a crawl. Despite his advanced nature, he still knew fear. Self preservation kicked in and Aeon backed up, like a man being pushed to the ledge. It was now; do or die.
The fires erupted as he stepped back and raised his arms in defense of himself. The fire hit him and the arm was able to protect quite a bit, however the fire itself wasn't enough as a shot rang out. Aeon still remained still quickly waving the Atterrium arm about at speeds fast enough to propel the flames away, like an intense fan blowing the flame away. The bullet came and despite Aeon's quick movements and reflexes...he could not stop it. The bullet closed in and buried itself slowly into his shoulder, causing his body to convulse and time to continue naturally. Aeon turned and dove through the window, sideways roll as he reached out. Aiming himself as best he could, he landed upon the chandelier and with a powerful jerk the large light felt.
Aeon rode the light down to the ground floor, crashing the large light onto the table behind McAllister with a loud crash. Aeon stood up and moved forth, smoke coming off of him. Aeon approached and eyes narrowed as his feet stopped, he stood about two feet from McAllister, whom had turned around in horror at the loud noise, already standing, back against the table. The Atterrium arm moved at regular speed in order to grab his target by the neck. To Aeon it was slow and causal. To Travis this would appear to be Mach 3 speeds. With the target's throat in his hands, Aeon's half melted goggles allowed for a single eye to peer through the melted piece, boring into his target's eyes as he spoke the final words McAllister would likely ever hear.
"Incentivising. Is not. A word." Aeon said as his Atterrium middle finger pulled in with immense strength and speed in order to snap McAllister's neck in his hand. That was all he said as he immediately turned to walk away.
Target neutralized. Requesting nearest available carrier. he thought to himself, the one remaining goggle flashing to light with information as it processed his request.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
The flames were visible from where Alpha was sitting, releasing a palpable wave of heat that could be felt even from where they sat. Yet the flames themselves were something that did not come anywhere close to actually touching him. Granted, Travis was enjoying watching McAllister squirm under what appeared to be an almost unshakable will really. Still, they had gotten up from their position on the ground with one hand supporting him against the table. Well it looks like Zeta caused a little trouble. He thought to himself with an audible sigh, though the next thing to happen was the one that caused him to jerk slightly. All perception slowed down as he took notice of the fact that someone was moving with what appeared to be a metallic arm attached to a person. The look of them was of an assassin, but they did not seem to have their attention upon him.
The surprise was within McAllister's face but they did not have enough time to react, yet he could not help himself in hearing their final thoughts. Hearing the word spoken, he could not help but smirk at the mention of the word that the now dead had made up in their attempt to extort him. This person was skilled, that much he could tell from them managing to get around Zeta who was no pushover themselves. The only glimpse he had from under the mask was a shock of dirty blonde hair, seemingly shaggy in appearance though that may have been just an assumption. "Well that saves me a lot of time." He noted out loud with a pleased with himself smirk. Having something come together was always excellent for him, and having someone trying to use him die before his eyes, well that was extra really.
Still now he was left with curiosity over this unknown person, and that would not do. With legs propped u on the table, he twitched a finger that caused one of the tables to fall onto it's side and slide along the floor at exceptional speeds to intercept Aeon walking away. "Hold up. I can't quite let you walk away just yet." The building was likely beginning to burn down, but then again that was how Zeta's flames worked. "I have a few questions."

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
The building was burning from the northern wing and the upper floor. Right over the back entrance; and Aeon's immediate means of discrete escape. As he walked for it, a random table from the several placed about was turned over from it's bolted location and began sliding across the room. The tables trajectory was not aligned with himself, rather with the area he was going. This table was an attempt to intercept him. Aeon stopped and let out an annoyed growl to himself, rather too low for Alpha to hear. The man began to talk to hi, something along the lines of not being able to let him go yet. He had questions? Aeon's goggles lit up with information again.
The information listed a rather large quantity of little facts. None of them were particularly interesting. The man was apparently a saint, though many people disliked him. He was the head of a large company he "suddenly" inherited from his father. He also wasn't seen for many years of his life. He just suddenly "popped up" so to speak, as if Ryan Masters one day said "Yeah, I have a kid. Had one for 18 years. Totally." and supplied a randomized birth certificate. Of the other facts was his presence at an anti-metahuman rally. Aeon blinked as he turned, his shaggy sandy blonde hair forward, covering his own exposed eye a bit. Take record this incident, if things go south we can threaten to release this as proof. Keep the upper hand in all business. Aeon thought, the little goggles lettering faded.
"Ask. Quickly." Aeon said plainly as he contemplated the fact that the hot-headed pyrokinetic would no doubt be on his trail soon. A Tele/Xylo/Metallo-kinetic wasn't something he wanted to labor against while they had a pyrokinetic ally. To many deadly possible combinations. If he was lucky though, this could all end easily and quickly.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
Travis would remain cautious with this person if only because he did not know what they were capable of. They had showed both exceptional speed and strength, in how they reach for and snapped McAllister's neck. That was when his attention snapped towards the body with head lolling almost morbidly to the side with a look of fear upon their face. Honestly, they should have expected this before doing what they had done but then again perhaps that was his arrogance saying that he would not mess up. People in his position tended to develop something like that, until of course the inevitable hitman came to deal out their punishment. When they turned around, he was slightly pleased with the fact they didn’t react violently. With a thought the tabe would skid back to it's position before returning to an upright position once again.
His mind would attempt to pick through the males before him, but all he got was a strange feeling along with a few facts, one of them mentioning a pyrokinetic. So Zeta had come after him for whatever reason, though Omega did instantly spring to mind considering their worrying nature. Well, he would have to thank him for the concern after he learned a few things from this assassin that did not appear to mind cooperating. "The pyrokinetic won't be bothering you anymore, so you don't need to worry about that." Alpha noted offhandidly, not really letting himself appear was worried as he was, even if the worry was minute. While it may have been a small chance, it was possible that his cover was blown and that would have been a regretful thing really. Granted eventually something like that would have to be broken anyway.
Zeta apparently still wanted to fight, but he did know better than to try arguing with him. His attention hovered to their arm which was metallic in color and seemingly even composition, yet he was a rather high end looking prosthesis or a form of armor, though that made him question why not the entire arm if it was armor. Unless they were durable on the rest of his body save for the armor, metal over a single limb would not make sense otherwise. "It's are an assassin just comes out of nowhere and crashes dinner, but then again I haven't run into many assassins. I am surprised you weren't sent after me, but I suppose not many people dislike me that much...yet at any rate." Travis found himself talking rather than asking, and the silent types tended to not like that.
"But I digress. The question is about your arm actually. It's not your average prosthetic, that much you showed simply by killing him." He jerked his finger towards McAllister. "I doubt you have any manner of superhuman speed, otherwise you could have made use of it to get out of here and avoided having to hear me talk your ear off. Normally, people can't even get access to prosthetics of that quality, let alone ones that let them reach supersonic speeds with it. So I do have to ask, where did you get it?"

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
Pyrokinetic? Telepathy perhaps. Counter measures required. Dealer has eight, four of clubs and four of spades. Dealer hits. Add ten of hearts. My hand seventeen. Aeon began to play Black Jack in his mind, a similar tactic to his brother, though unknown to him. Aeon knew full well that this would not deter an experienced telepath for more than maybe five minutes, as the repetitive nature would eventually be burried through. Thankfully he actually didn't know anything of value at the moment, so even if Travis dug all he would find would be a foreboding presence within the mind, one that was tempting enough to try and pull any and all things in. Thankfully Alpha was not an idiot and would likely know to stay out.
The question was not one that Aeon had actually thought of. In fact he didn't know the answer to that question. Black Jack in his mind stopped as he was actually stunned to realize that he was clueless as to the origins of his own prosthetic arm. Looking at the arm he moved his fingers individually and then opted to look back at Alpha. Unfortunately with his mind off of Black Jack it became quite apparent that he was being honest when he replied to Alpha's question with; "I don't know. I woke up with it. Probably an investment in me." Aeon said, being clear not to say an investment by whom as he returned to playing Black Jack in his head, still being able to pay attention and listen to Alpha and any other question he might have.

Re: I wait another Eon [Aeon]
Already he could hear the person putting up defenses against telepaths, but then again he had no need to read beyond the fact that he could get nothing interesting from this man. Questioning them would have been something that would likely get him something rather than trying to dig through their mind. Their reaction to his question had given a large amount of insight towards this person really, something that answered so many questions but left him with some. They weren't very knowledgeable about things around them it would appear, beyond a simple mission that they were given considering how quickly they went for the kill. Perhaps confident within their skills considering he did not go out of his way to kill him when he saw them. Perhaps the ones that handled him had attached that arm, as to either improve their killing efficiency or for some deeper purpose.
His mind was following every single movement of the male as if looking for any change within their stance. For a moment the internal blackjack game ceased, lone enough for them to answer his question and to prove they were truthful with their answer. "You don't know? Interesting indeed." Travis noted to himself now more curious than before. "Do you know what the arm is made from? If you don't know where you got it from, perhaps you know what it's composed of. It's not any conventional metal nor anything I've seen before." He noted, considering examining it closer but that would require either removing it or them allowing him to look it over. "Now that I think about it. A closer look might answer that question, if you would be so kind."
