A Few Extra Fingers...

Shamgarel sat in the G.U.N. Lounge, waiting for the new mebers of the Hand of Justice to arrive. One was apparently a friend of Xyron's before the latter was exiled. The other was a young woman that had battled at his side a few days earlier against Ferrum and Nightkill.

Cassiel opened a door nearby, almost on cue. Without looking around the semi-dense croud of people, he walked up to Shamgarel and said "You called..."

"Not for you directly, more for Faith. But from what I'd heard of you I knew I wouldn't."

Cassiel crossed his arms, "I hate to use 'I know what you mean,' comments, because if I did, I would sound like a skipping record. Sometimes I remain silent to allow events to pass. So, for the sake of arguement, what did you call me here for?"

"Well for everyone else's sake, lets wait for Faith and Xyron."

Xyron entered, looking as if he hadnt slept for days. He nodded at Shamgarel as he entered. His eyes lingered on Cassiel for a moment as he sat.

"I still cannot believe you're here Cassiel. It has been a long time old friend."

Suddenly a bright blue light filled a small area, about the size of an average man, the blue light taking it's shape and illuminating the room with it's colors. The blue became a man in a suit, the man was none other than Stephen Hughes, The Overseer. The man stood before him, glasses on his face, his hair, outfit, everything about him seemed professional. His arms were crossed, a serious expression hung across his face as he looked to the group of angels, he had always been rather fascinated by the fact that he stood amongst angels.

A smirk came across his face as he spoke up in his intelligent calm voice, "Hello old friends..." Stephen smiled at his friends, he hadn't seen them in quite some time.

"Ah, Stephen. How are you?"

Shamgarel got up to shake the man's hand.

"Ah, hello Xyron... Stephen." Cassiel nodded to each, "I apologize if my presence proves disturbing."

Faith entered the room slowly and carefully with a shy smile on her face as she chewed her lip, wondering if this was the right place. Faiths heart leaped when she saw all the other angels in the room, her eyes wide and bright with curiosity. How did they all get here? Where they captured like she was? By that horrid Demon? Experiment on? Faiths wings where out full and proud, much more comfy. She missed her old body.
"Hello...?" she asked tentiverly, still not sure if she had the right message. Her blue dress clung to her flawless hourglass figure as she entered the room, her green eyes bright with curioisity.

Stephen shook Shamgarel's hand, a friendly smile across his face as he gave him a respectful nod. "Hello to the both of you." His attention would turn to view the young beauty walking into the room, he had not seen her before so he could only wonder as to why she was here, perhaps she was friends with one of them. If she were here uninvited, Stephen would deal with her accordingly, but for some reason he felt she had a purpose here. He could sense it, something about her seemed important.

He rose his brow at her, his arms returning to cross over his chest as he looked to her. "A friend of yours I presume." He said to Shamgarel with a slight turn of his head. He looked back to her and smiled, giving her a respectful nod as he calmly stood there, waiting for something to happen.

"Not to worry Faith, I see your confusion. You are safe... as of now." Cassiel said with forced enthusiasm.

Faiths eyes narrowed slightly as she slipped into the room. Her wings fell to the floor, the tips of white feathers just grazing the flooring as she folded her arms over her stomach. She really hated being her if they were going to be all moody like that.
"Hello," she nodded to Steven, the man who had greeted her. Her wings fluttered open slightly in a wide stretch before moving back to her back. She wondered if this was what Pain was on about, she should really get back soon or he's throw a hissy fit if that Demon came back after her without him being there to kill him.
"You wanted to see me?" She asked, her green eyes turning to Sham then.

"Aye," Shamgarel smiled at the beautiful young woman. He walked over to her, put his arm on her shoulder, turned to face the group, and began introducing people.

"Faith, these are your fellow 'fingers' on the Hand of Justice, Stephen excluded. Though he is a good friend of mine and Xyron's. Unfortunately my beautiful Jaci couldn't be here to meet you and Cassiel."

Xyron bowed elegantly, his wings stretching downward in a sign of respect.
"Greetings, Faith. Shamgarel has told me much of your prowess in battle. I hope you might find peace here with G.U.N., although even the mention of firearms might suggest otherwise." He straightened up, his wings returning to their normal position. "A funny thing, names. Our organization holds the moniker shared by an instrument of Death, yet we fight for peace. An oxymoron if there ever was one. Yet at the same time, names such as "Faith" exist... and for an angel no less. A more appropriate name could not be chosen. Let us pray that the faith we place in each other is never forsaken."
Xyron blinked for a moment as he paused.
"Ah, I'm rambling again. Many apologies, Faith. Once you get to know me, like Shamgarel and Cassiel have, you will learn to just ignore me when I become overly prolific." He turned to Cassiel, a smile present on his face.
"And Cassiel, like always, cuts to the heart of the matter. Surely you might spare the darker matters like our future for more... productive areas of conversation? Im sure we will get to that topic in a few moments."
