This Universe Ain't Big Enough for the Two of Us![Double XP]

For the sake of this thread and the circumstances that happen within it, Mindy has these additional abilities exclusive to only this thread.

Additional abilities:

It had been three weeks since the events in Africa. Escaping the confines of her old prison had not been difficult, but Mindy's new body had not yet acclimatized to the changes that it had undergone. She needed to rest and she needed to rest somewhere with a high density of mana. and the closest one had been Egypt or more specifically the land where they had built it upon.

At first, Mindy suffered from the aftershocks of needing more mana. But as time passed on, her body slowly eased and began allowing mana to flow through it rather then trying to trap it within her body, like she had to use to, Mindy improved greatly. She rarely walked, allowing herself to get used to how minute changes in how the mana flowed, changed the way that her body floated through the air.

The connection to the ley focal point down in Southern Africa had somehow opened her connection to the elements, they felt more like bending your tongue or raising your ears. actions you could always do, but didn't know you could till you did them.At first it required her to close her eyes but during their stay in Egypt, Mindy had gotten comfortable with it to do it with actions as simple as the flick of her wrist or the snapping of her fingers

Despite the novelty of her current situation, Mindy found the changes in Quinn just as strange. The young girl still clung to her whenever given the chance, but the look in her eye had changed somewhat. They still held the piercing visage of someone who hungered for knowledge but they were now slightly clouded. The look of having seen a glimpse of the true horror of humanity.

Also during their time a part Quinn had picked up or deciphered from a book, or whatever it was she did with them, the ancient art of rune magic. Which was cool too, Quinn was growing up faster then Mindy had at first thought she would, and where as that is not a bad thing it was a sad thought.

The had begun packing their things when remembered one of the ancient memories that had flown into memory banks with her magus ascension. of an ancient spell that allowed the users to fight against each other by forming a pocket universe between their world and other dimensions. Within the pocket dimension the spell casters could imbue a small fragment of their souls to make a replica of themselves.

After two long, arduous and overly asinine and pointlessly convoluted rituals they were ready to go. Projecting her soul fragment into the pocket world, There she stood, standing in Pink and periwinkle dress with silver trip. In her hands was a long elegant staff that resembled a scepter.

She waited for Quinn to appear in the new world as well.

After Quinn saved Mindy from the horribleness that was the five warlords, Mindy decided to have them travel to Egypt. They didn't go straight there of course, Quinn giving Mindy her patented puppy dog eyes so that they can sight-see as they travel. Once they actually got to Egypt, after seeing everything interesting while they were traveling north, Mindy was forced to do boring things to settle the mana in her body. Though she was more than happy to cuddle with Mindy when she had the chance to, she was not interested in just sitting around watching her do her things, and instead of wandering around the city they holed up in and explored a little. She may or may not have caused some chaos while she was out, but that was a story for another time.

During their stay, Mindy had remembered how to do a ritual that would let them have tons of fun without the risk of anyone getting hurt. The moment that she learned that she could play with her favorite person she all but begged for Mindy to do the ritual, waiting excitedly as Mindy took forever to do the two rituals. Once they were finally done, Mindy went on ahead while Quinn was following after as fast as she could.

Looking around the moment she appeared inside of the space, Quinn spots Mindy standing across from her and instantly leans in and hug her. "Mindy, this is amazing! It looks so real!" Releasing her best friend, she wanders around the area, exploring it before they start to play with each other. As she wanders around she also makes sure that her body isn't any different from in the real world, shadowboxing a little before turning to Mindy and tilting her head to the side. "Are you ready to play with me?" She gives Mindy a smile, ready for them to start whenever.

She didn't need to wait long. Quinn was in the new plane a few minutes later and was scampering around like a puppy in it's new home.  With little warning, Quinn dove into Mindy's bosom embracing her. A smile split her face as she embraced the tiny girl and wove her fingers through the hair that flowed out underneath her hat.  The faint scent of detergent spilling out.

As quick as she had come, Quinn was out of her arms, racing around and looking at the scene around them with eyes wide open shining like tiny gems.
"Mindy, this is amazing! It looks so real!" She exclaimed excitedly.  They were in a mountainous area with strange rock spires that looked more or less like some four-year old had been stacking flat pebbles on top one another, and they had some how fused into the ground. Everything was stained a blanched red color that cut a sharp contrast from a clear blue sky that had never seen pollution. The air smelt of sand and left the taste of iron in Mindy's mouth. But without a doubt, the sight was breath taking.

Quinn continued to run around for awhile before suddenly switching tracks. Punching the air a couple of times and jumping a little here and there, Quinn finally looked up. Gone were the eyes of innocent wonderment and in their place was a pair of eyes filled with hunger. Mindy couldn't help but letting the left side of her lips curl up into a smile.
"Are you ready to play with me?"  Quinn asked inquisitively, cocking her head slightly to the side, a grin on her face now too.

Reaching behind her, Mindy removed the ribbon that kept her hair in place, letting it come down. With a deep breath, she opened her self to the magic. It flowed through her with the force of a river through flood gates,  quickly engulfing her in its welcoming embrace. Color flowed through her eyes and hair making them swirl like a kaleidoscope before settling on a bubblegum pink with streaks  with darkened auburn. "Yes, Quinn."

With the snap of the fingers on both of her hands, a green, wind spell ring appeared on both her left and right wrists and a red, fire spell ring apeared on her right ankle. Wind shot from underneath her arms, and fire leapt from her he heels and shot her into the sky like rocket. While the force was  jettisoning her into the air, at about thirty feet into the air,  Mindy swept her hands in a circular spinning motion,  leaving behind another spell circle in the air.

The new spell circle was a large red circle with a smaller green circle inside of it with a third green circle inside of the smaller one.  A moment passed before thirty volleyball sized fireballs launched towards where Quinn stood and carpeting the entire ground where they had stood. Inside of each fireball was a pocket of of Pure O₂ and hydrogen swirling together surrounded by a non flammable pocket of CO₂. Each fireball had the explosive capability of a car.

Mindy  began evening out at about fifty meters in the air. She hovered in the air with her hands out stretched to their respective sides. Quinn had more then proven herself to be treated like a proper fighter. Mindy would never dishonor her with less then this.

Quinn blinks a few times as the fireballs appear in the air above her. Grumbling something about how flying was cheating she creates a gun and pulls a tag out, firing the full magazine, having to at least try to see if a gun does anything to Mindy. Once that was done she vanishes from where she was standing just before any of the fireballs would hit the ground. Reappearing on the cliff that was so helpfully near here, she covers her eyes as the explosions go off, blinking as she sees how much damage Mindy's fire attack did. "Whoa, I guess I have to get serious too."

That being said, she smacks her tag against the air in front of her, writing appearing on it near instantly as a lightning bolt launches itself from the tag and heads straight for Mindy, the air burning as it passes through. Moving the instant after the attack was sent at Mindy, Quinn lands back on the ground, pulling two tags out she sticks them on herself, a noticeable aura surrounding her as she buffs her defense with one. The other doesn't have any clear effect, though that could be the whole point.

With that done Quinn starts to draw in the air, not wanting to waste any more of her tags right away.

It was the whistling that gave away the bullets before she had even seen them. While pushing out with her mind to slow the bullets, Mindy raised her hand  and summoned a wide five inch slab of bed rock absorbing the bullets with ease. A brown spell circle blinked into existence around her neck. The magic made Mindy feel alive. Her synapses were firing and her skin felt like fire incarnate. More, it begged. More, it pleaded. This was who Mindy really was, everything else was a flimsy delusion. This is who she was meant to be.

That's when the fire balls landed.

The ground blossomed into a field of fiery flowers, immolating  the ground blossoming into  thirty trails of white smoke floating into the air. The ground laid blackened and scarred from where the fires had licked it. A quick glance revealed no small smoldering corpse of her companion. A moment passed before Mindy saw Quinn again. Just in time to see pillar of lightning appear from in front of Quinn. Huh. That was a new one.

Throwing the tablet into front of her, Mindy began spinning purple circle over purple circle, gathering electrical discharge.  The oncoming lighting crackled the sky filling the air with thick odor of ozone. It crumbled the slab of rock like a soft cookie in a sea of milk. As the bold came towards here, about to connect, the spells she had been gathering let loose forming a new bolt of lightning. Colliding between Quinn's normal sized one and Mindy's five smaller bolts, the 6 bolts launched into the sky, slowly dissipating into an Aurora that painted the sky deep shades of blue and purple.

Five purple rings appeared over Mindy's body but not for long. With a long sweep of her arms, a giant mandalan spell circle appeared behind her with a  six meter radius. This time Mindy's escaped as a voice singing a long forgotten song. One's whos even names and words had been long forgotten. ラムの目: Eye of Ramuh  From out of the circle came out a tower of lighting. the tower was created of hundred, parallel Bolts of lighting raining down towards where Quinn had launched her lighting bolt.

One Earth ring, still active.

Quinn keeps an eye on Mindy as she continues to write, trying to finish before the spell she launched was blocked. As her lightning bolt was sent flying into the sky by Mindy, mostly as expected, Quinn frowned as another spell was readied and fired in her direction. "Oh my, now that is a spell." While praising her best friend, Quinn abandons what she was writing as she was only half finished with it, Quinn disappears again, deciding that this attack was far more powerful than the other ones and being hit by it was unwise.

As the lightning slams into the ground and cliff, it starts to come down under the pressure of the assault. Quinn, using the dust from the collapsing cliff to hide herself, switches over to heat vision and pulls out three more tags, tossing them upwards. They stop at three random points around Mindy, then suddenly rapidly create a rune magic based cannon, all of which lock onto her and fire, channeling pure mana into a beam. While her friend is distracted, Quinn writes out a simple spell that just creates a flame on the tip of her finger.

She stares at her finger for a moment, glancing up at Mindy that was currently being distracted and readies herself. Using the flame that she created, Quinn starts to burn runes onto her hand, making sure to glance over at Mindy every few seconds just in case something happens that requires her attention.
