The Legacy

Personality: Calm, collected, and cool are all words to describe Shin. His entire life has been dedicated to training, and it reflects itself in his mannerisms. He is chivalrous towards women, and does his best to embody the spirit of the knights of old. Slow to anger, and in control of himself at all times, Shin has no real alignment to anything. He is focused on his goals, and not much else.

History: Born in a remote village in the mountains of Asia to an American father and Japanese mother, Shin knows very little outside of his origin besides those two facts. His true last name, the faces or names of his parents, if he has any siblings, they are all distant memories hidden behind walls of fire. His first memory is of Raijin, his father, and a dragon. How he came into Raijin's care is a mystery to him, but one he never really cared to learn. To him, it's just a fact of life, and it didn't need to be delved into. From a young age, Raijin trained him in the arts of dragon slaying, a type of magic that closely resembles electrokinetic metahumans, and could easily be mistake as such. At the age of sixteen, Raijin sent Shin out on his own, to explore the world, and have his own adventures, with one parting gift. The essence of the lightning dragon. Upon receiving Raijin's very essence, Shin became what is known as a dragon slayer, a human who is able to turn into a dragon in order to combat them. Now, he travels the world, looking for a real purpose.

The Powers

Power 1: Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic: Ancient magic that gives it's wielder the ability to completely bend the element of lightning to ones will. The includes generating lightning from the electrons and protons in the air, absorbing electrical strikes, and messing with electrical components. The power and range of abilities is increased based on amount of points spent into this ability

Power 2: Enhanced senses: ) Upon merging with the essence of his father, the lightning dragon, Shin gained the heightened physical senses of a dragon.

Power 3: Hunger for power: As a lightning dragon slayer, Shin has the ability to eat electrical strikes, and even lightning itself, in order to restore his power. Doing so will restore his stamina, and even heal wounds.

Power 4: Fighting force: Shin is a trained weapon. Training since near birth has given him near flawlessly reflexes, and the ability to seamlessly adapt to nearly any fighting style.

Power 5: Dragon form: While not able to fully turn into a dragon, Shin is able to turn into a form of human/dragon hybrid. Dragon horns grow from his temple, small, scale like features grow over his body, and he grows a dragons tail. This is the height of dragon slaying magic. He also grows wings that allow him to fly.

Power 6: Dragon's durablity: Shin's skin has become like dragon scales, making it incredibly durable.

Weaknesses

Weakness 1: Can't stomach it!: Though he can eat lightning strikes to heal and rejuvenate, he is incapable of eating his own attacks. The lightning/electricity must come from another source.

Weakness 2: Still got wings.: Though he can fly, and turn partly into a dragon, his flight is still effected by things like wind and other factors. Though, as a lightning magic user, electrical discharges do not hinder his flight.

Weakness 3: Too loud!: His enhanced sense, because they are so acute, can actually be overloaded.

Weakness 4: Pikachu Syndrome: Shin uses lightning based magic, and as such, it follows the rules of electricity. His attacks can be completely negated by unconductive objects.

Weakness 5: Dragon rage: When in moments of high stress or near death, Shin can be over taken by a great rage. This rage makes him a berserker, having trouble discerning friend from foe.

Weakness 6: Chivalry: Shin was trained in the ways of the knight, which includes chivalry. He has a hard time fighting women opponents, and will generally be forced by his honor to hold back while fighting them. (Note: This only goes for 'maidens', people like Vexus who look like witches do not fall under this weakness)

Weakness 7: Motion Sickness: Having grown up so far from technology, Shin never gained the equilibrium for riding inside of vehicles. Moving vehicles make him visibly nauseous, to the point of not being able to hardly move.
