A Change of Scenery (Open)

James traveled to Washington DC for a couple of weeks. After becoming Vengeance Knight James wanted to see what else was out there. He had been to DC many times for work in the past. This time it will be good to be there on a personal note.




James was finally in DC , he got his luggage and went back to his extra townhouse. It was in a nice area, it was safe with beautiful scenery. James hasn't been there for a while so it will be good to be back there. James was almost at his townhouse, he stopped by a local store he use to go to and picked up some stuff.




James wasn't going to tell anyone he was in DC. He had a lot of enemies and threats, especially after leaving the CIA. James was covert and like a shadow so it shouldn't be too much trouble. James was finally at his townhouse.




He went it, it was still nice and clean iike he left it. It was a lovely night out and the moon was full, James unloaded his stuff. He went into his office, closed the door, and pressed a secret button. It led James down to a secret base room, armed with guns and other weapons.




James had made a couple of suits and was going to leave one here just in case. He unloaded his alternate suit and weapons, setting it up in a secret vault. James then took two hand guns with him and went back up. He closed the secret door and went to the family room to watch some tv.




James would go out in a bit, just to grab some dinner or something. James knew he still had to be covert about his stay in DC for the next couple weeks. James put one gun under his pillow and one in his belt. He took some other equipment from his main suit and locked up to get something to eat.

Luke had entered DC for a visit to see an old friend from high school that had moved here, as he entered the city by airplane, he exited the airport after spending quite some time in the customs. Eventually, he got out and had taken a cab to a hotel within' the city that was fairly close to his friends house for now. Once he entered the hotel, he made his way to his room, entering it and began to place his baggage around the hotel room for easy access when needed. He also had a bag set aside under his bed in case, his suit...

Later that week after helping a child meta human or trying he got a phone call from a disturbed friend of meta humans in D.C. and called Mykel to come and figure it out and since Mykel owed him a favor he would ease his pain. Arriving by plane he was greeted by a limo and two squad cars? Is this my ride? Who ordered this if I may ask.[ Asking the driver he looked around and then put his stuff away because people wanted him dead for putting them in jail or killing their loved ones.

Placing his bags in the bag the driver talked to him and said it was a request by Master Steve. Steve was his friend that called him and he had deep ties in the deepest depths of the pentagon and was well know enough that if he died it could start a full blown war. After arriving at his apartment or pent house the staff flooded Mykel grabbing every last thing he owned. He could stand up against tsunamis but people were different. They could not be evaporated. That was bad...

Looking around the place seemed to like gold and white as their displays and he liked the way it blended together. He headed over to the stairs and right to the elevator heading up on the personal suite which was very spaciest and again nice as hell. Arriving at the room he knock and his friend flung open the doors and greeted him like it was the last day he would see him. He seemed over joyed... Well my friend I see you arrived earlier than expected which is just like you so I thought I would take and even earlier step and order food. Mykel walked inside side by side talking and thanking him for the food. As they set their and talked about the conditions it seemed like over seas metas were threatening him. So calling Mykel was smart.

As for your commendations I have a business trip and I'm flying to Japan and you can use this room free of charge. Ill be back in a month so hopefully that will give you time to check on things here. My plane leaves in an hour so I will excuse myself and thank you again my dear friend. Mykel stood and shook his hand and gave him a hug and pat and sent him off, alright man safe trip, and come back soon. It was now time for the job. He locked up and put the key in his pocket then headed out........

James was quietly walking the streets. He has a huge black jacket on and hand on his gun. He was walking out of the street light way in the darker parts. James got something to eat and headed back to his townhouse.




It was quiet as James walked back, too quiet. He could sense a type of disturbance near by. Was it a mugging or something? James felt it more, no it was just two men talking.




James minded his business and kept talking. All of a sudden he picked up one of the men talking. It seemed some information leaked out and there was talk of some super human guys. Should James get involved, would it blow his cover?




James thought, maybe he shouldn't as it might blow his cover. However, the safety of others was more important. James would keep it quiet and would look into it. James rushed back to his townhouse and went into his base.




James took out his suit and his equipment. He put them all on and looked over the location of the possible threat. It was somewhere downtown, James secretly went out of his townhouse. Setting the location information James glided up and headed to the location.

Luke began to get ready to get dressed, and made sure to have a bag ready to use for a quick changing of clothes to his suit. As he did so, he then finished packing and getting ready. He then left with the bag and was dressed up in a leather jacket, t shirt and jeans. Entering a taxi, he placed the bag in the taxi with him and the taxi began to drive away to the restaurant he was to meet his friend, Sarah.

As the taxi pulled up to the restaurant, he exited and handed a few bills to the taxi for the fare and began to walk in the restaurant, first, before going to look for Sarah in this busy place, he went into the bathroom and placed the bag in a air vent above the first stall and exited the bathroom, searching for his friend.

Jumping roof to roof, heading to the location. James was almost there and ready for action. It would be fast so no one would find out he was there in DC. James crawled in the shadows lurking around to find his prey.




James the glided to an old abandoned warehouse. That was the location of the meet between some meta humans. crouching down hearing the conversation through his ear phone. The meet was already going down, what could it be about?




James heard the meta human community was planning to form a brotherhood. After that they would go and wreck havoc among the city. They would soon contact others to their cause and build an army. James got the information and was ready to pounce in.




"Here I go", James said to himself leaping. He broke through a window gliding in. There were men with machine guns and started firing at James. James dodged them white gliding, he then wrapped his whole cape around him.




James took threw a couple of slicers at the men's hands disarming them. He then opened his cape and took out his duel guns. Started firing at the men and took a few down. James then glided up on some boxes and show some more slicers at some men.




Looking down."So, which one of you is the leader"? A man wearing all dark started firing beams at James. "Damn", James dodged them and leaped behind the man. He then stun gunned the mean and he fainted.




Grabbing him then breaking out a back window gliding away. James landed on a building and tossed the man down. Taking a slicer at the mans throat,"Who are you and what are you planning". The man woke up more in fear,"What the hell is going on who are you"?




"Your worst nightmare son", James told the man. James put the slicer closer to the mans throat. James demanded to know,"Who are you and what are you planning to do'? The man replied with a smirk,"None of your damn business", then spit at James.




James wiped off the spit and grabbed the mans face. He then threw the guys face in a wall bashing it a few times. James then tossed then guy to the ground again and took out one of his guns. James pointed it at the man's forehead.




"I will blow your head off if you don't reply fast". The man was scared and was weak from using his powers at the time. The man replied in sweat,"Okay, we are panning a massive attack on the white house". James was feared by this idea," You will take me to the main base you guys are in".




The man had no choice but to listen to James. James tossed the man on his feet and asked him where it was. The man told him it was underground close to the downtown area. James grabbed the man hard and glided to the secret base.
