Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
It had only been a few days since there awaking, the too brothers of the royal bloodline some how escaped their orders collapse. The others that went into exile would also be awake by now, and Sirath knew a lot of them didn't care to well for humans. He would need to find them so they could be reenlisted in the order, and work under his command once more before they did something truly foolish. The continent that they awoke under was very cold, even colder then the northern lands of old. they walked deliriously for miles before reaching a small but populated village.
It was a good thing they were well versed in magic or they wouldn't have known the local language, the humans looked at them oddly when Sirath asked where they were, but they quickly responded and said it was a place called Canada. The Continental plates must have shifted some since they started their rest, so old maps would be of no use. The two laid low for a few days until they heard about a winged beast showing itself to humans in a land south of where they stood. The two then made there way south to a place called Los Angeles where the potential member of their race was spotted.
There's perks to being able to fly, you can make terrific time while traveling. They arrived on the out skirts of town after about 14 hours of flying, the city was amazing, larger then anything he had ever seen save the empires capitol. The two were tired from the fly so they landed on a forested hill over looking the edge of the city. Sirath took human form and laid on the grass to catch his breath then addressed his brother "I have not been flying for quite a long time brother, i hope this is worth the exhaustion" Sirath said in a humored tone. He grunted slightly then sat up, holding himself up on a tree he gazed at the human achievement. "Though i haven't done much of anything in quite a long time, i wonder what the humans have done with their time as the worlds aristocracy"

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
Helior smiled as they both reverted back to human forms, arching his back and laughing as he said "Oh Brother, you always were the less graceful of our kind ... Still I am also confused as to what technology the humans developed, we just used our dragon forms to build things like towering structures, but the humans seem to have mastered magic quite well, giant flying birds were something I wasn't expecting I must say" He arched his back once more and put both hands over his head and an almighty series of cracks were heard "I am also a little out of it brother, all this flying after what felt like a lifetime of sleep has been a good method of promoting how much my bones ache after 2000 years of sleep."

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
All it took was a shift for gold to move from the apex of the pile, and be sent clattering along metallically. The slumbering dragon groaned softly, rolling over to see what looked like a curious face watching him, neon greens flecked silver eyes watching him. Earthy brown orbs would consider the male for a moment, before he finally registered and smirk, propping himself onto elbows that would better allow him to look at the male. ”You sleep a lot.” Mike said rather plainly, though one could see a small smirk forming upon his lips as he sat on his rear, not quite enjoying the feeling of golden coins biting into it. Granted, no one with half a brain liked that feeling, but then again Jordan was a dragon; perhaps what he liked tended to differ from the disempowered ethereal watching him.
”No, I sleep enough.” Jordan said rather tiredly, eyes still only half open as he considered the male. That facial expression that always seemed to play across his face, one of mute interest and overall lack of understanding. It felt kinda weird, if only because he was used to being the one not knowing something, not the other way around.
”Nope, you sleep too much.” Mike said with a smirk, continuing to poke the sleeping dragon, which would have annoyed him far more usually. Instead of smacking him with his tail, all he did was grumble and roll over, not that it would stop Michael from being a pain in his side. ”Awww come on, we could like go swimming or something.” This seemed to catch his attention, as he seemed to enjoy swimming at the beach of all place.
”I’m up.” Jordan muttered sleepily, draconic tail sweeping along, and knocking a few coins down. With all of that done, and when Jordan had finally gotten up, it was mostly Michael moving about, trying to get him to hurry and within a matter of moments they were on the beach. Moist sand squished under his feet, getting in between his toes and sending a strange sensation through his feet. Not surprisingly this segment was clear, as Mike had been getting onto him about becoming a dragon in public.
’Have fun with the whole swimming thing.” Michael said letting a fingertip carved through the wet sand, Jordan nodding as a dragon tail would appear from around his tailbone, as it flopped about and he dived into the water with a splash.

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
Even though they had quite a long time to think about it, they had no idea where one of their kind could have been hiding in a place such as this. They really had no place to start, and might be in this town for a long while before getting any leads. "Where do you think he should start? Its a big area we need to cover and we have no leads" he said to his brother hoping he had an idea or two. He started walking down the slope into town, even though they didn't know where they were going they might as well get moving. "Well, lets get going brother, we have a long search ahead of us" he said back at Helior with a tired look.

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
He looked to his brother with some confusion on his face "Brother we have a draconic sense of smell and hearing? We could also sense around for anyone who is more than human, I would suggest starting at the coast and working inland, of course we could also call in dragon forms to them ... But I am not sure how this will pan out".
He looked around and frowned a little at how cataclysmically they hadn't thought about how to do this ... Maybe a few millenia of sleep threw them off thinking as he took a deep breath and roared a roar so loud the glass in the high rises vibrated in the hope a draconian could hear it, based on the roar being such low frequency of the roar

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
Michael then just sat there, playing around in the sand while the dragon swam about, doing what he usually did when presented with the chance. Not the most productive day really, but it was about now that he remembered that he and water did not mix too well when it came down to it, or he did not like being cold. Granted the day itself was pretty warm, but Mike was always cold, that was just how things tended to work. The dragon however was not expecting the sound that resulted next, a loud piercing roar that caused his ears to ache, drawing the dragon from the water with both hands clamped to his ear and saying making low growling noises as if that would make the pain itself stop. Michael raised a single brow, looking to the dragon somewhat confused, but that did come with nondraconian senses, so he could not blame him there.
”Somethin up?” Mike would venture to ask, looking up to the dragon with a curious glance, waiting a few seconds for the dragon to finish the low annoyed growling.
”Someones makin this fucking noise, it hurts my ears.” Jordan growled, calming down for a second when it seemed that the noise had stopped, and finally seeming at peace.
”So, what do ya think it was?” Michael asked again, pushing himself to his feet and brushing off the dirt that clung to his boarding shorts, crossing his arms over his chest.
”Dunno, but I’m gonna find out.”
”I’m comin with.” Michael inserted rather abruptly, not giving the dragon time to really react. ”Alright, lets get started. We should probably follow the sound….unless its not being made anymore, because then we might have a problem.” He sighed and scratched the back of his head.
”I could smell for something?”
”Genius, we’ll do that.” Mike nodded, not getting the irony of his statement, and so they were off.

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
Sirath reached the bottom of the hill then turned back to his brother "I agree, the coast shouldn't be far, only a few leagues west, let us start there" He said in response to his suggestion. He turned away from helior and started running, then jumped into the air while shifting into dragon form. When he was fully turned he dashed himself high into the air, then started flying toward the coast and in minutes the two were there. They surveyed the beach not caring if the humans saw them.

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
He grinned at his bother Sirath and decided that maybe an audible signal east enough, he looked where they were headed and pointed his spear at the location. After a few moments a thin beam of light was shot at the abandoned beach and then nothing for a while, he transformed into his dragon form and caught up to his brother rather quickly, he always was a fast dragon then he flapped up once in the air, creating a pose as he lost upwards momentum and roared again, this time on a frequency humans could hear. As he did so, a large colourblind of light illuminated underneath and projected a huge silhouette on the clouds above and landed.
Changing back he said in a low voice "Well that should get his attention"

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
So here Mike was following along behind Jordan as he seemed to be sniffing the air for something rather intently. Not that he was unused to that sight, but then again all he knew was that he had a rather interesting family. ”Did ya find anything yet.?” Mike would ask, a second long pause happening before Jordan turned to him and shook his head, showing that he indeed did not find anything with that nose of his. Mike frowned slightly and crossed his arms over his chest, looking up to the sky as if there would be something and actually…seeing it. It looked like two large figures in the sky, something that not many people saw these, days, two large dragons flying through the air. ”Found somethin.” Mike said tapping Jordan on the shoulder and pointing upwards.
”I see it. Heh, that was easier than I thought. ” Jordan noted with a smirk, forming draconic wings on his back, and taking flight, making sure to appear before the two rather obvious dragons. ”Hey, I couldn’t help but notice you flyin around, and I was kinda wondering why. Not that I care or anything, but humans don’t really like dragons flying around. Ends up with a lot of shooting.”

Re: Why are there so many dragons in LA? (Mike, Helior)
As the two flew over the beach a winged flying figure came into view, then said a few things. Siraths momentum nearly drove him into the creature as he flew, but he managed to gain control. He lowered himself to the ground and took human form. His armor gleaming in the hot sun but his face still hidden by the shadow of his helm. He motioned for his brother to follow, as well as the potential shifter that spoke to them. Once they reached the ground he would speak "The shooting of arrows is of no concern to me. The only thing that is at this time is finding my fellow brethren. I do not remember your face from times past, yet i have been quite forgetful as of late. Are you one of our kind? if you are you likely know what i am speaking of." He said all this while looking around at all the humans on the beach. He had no idea the customs of this time but could make out that they weren't used to dragon people. He held the hilt of his sword in a way that looked like he was merely holding it in place, but in reality it was partial combat stance in case the creature would attack.
