Faster Than The Eye Can See (Negative Vs Quick)

Elijah didn't feel right in this "virtual reality".  When he sat down in the battle chair the way his conscience was downloaded was unsettling to a very high degree. He quickly opened his eyes again to find himself in a relatively peaceful area. He looked around seeing nothing but trees and just behind him a large river which led into a dark cave. "I might be able to lure my opponent there when our fight starts"  Elijah, who then quickly dismissed the idea. "Too predictable" he thought.  

Elijah's heart thumping at the anticipation of fighting a never-before seen opponent, Quick. "Now that i think about it, this is actually the first true meta that I've fought" grinning with a cold pleasure Elijah created a dual set of daggers instantaneously. He started to practice different moves and thrusts, along with counters and throws. Suddenly the daggers turned into a staff which he spun around and whacked a tree with the butt of it, causing it to shake and made birds wander somewhere else. Wondering how long it would take for this supposed 'Quick' to arrive Elijah climbed the tallest tree, searching for beyond the mountain and layer of trees. What he saw shocked even him. A full complete landscape all around him. " I can't believe how realistic this is" blurted out Elijah as he saw a flock of birds flying above him.

"Well. Now that I've gotten some practice in, all that remains is for me to rest and wait for quick. Seriously though if your going to name yourself quick at least show up on time!". Elijah sat down on the floor with a small disappointment followed by an intense eagerness for battle. Despite his quip about being on time he still pondered how he would beat Quick, every meticulous step be every meticulous step. He knew that with his enhanced perception the speed of an opponent was lowered dramatically but he knew not of the extent of his opponents speed. "I guess I'll find out when he comes then".

After a long night rest QuickKid made his way to the battle ground. However it wasn't a battle ground, but a video game. He felt weird about the virtual reality that the all were going through for this tournament. Still though it should be safe for them. But it didn't feel right to have his mind downloaded into a computer.
After getting into the arena, he decided to take a look around. It was a big forest and pretty much nothing else. Not wasting anymore time he ran under the speed of sound to find his opponent. After a minute he found the guy messing around so he ran around him in a blur and stood in front of him." Hey sorry in late so how we doing this?" he knew the answer to the question, but couldn't help to ask.

"How are we doing this you ask?" said  Negative as gazed at his opponent carefully.  He smirked almost ravenously behind his mask as he screamed in an almost hungry-like voice "Well we outa just jump right in!".

Negative charged toward QuickKid and simultaneously summoned a pure black staff then planted the butt of it into the soil and used it like a pole vaulter to send him soaring above the green canopy above him. While at the peak of the jump Negative twisted toward the direction of his foe and launched a barrage of ten daggers going in random coordination towards QuickKid with 5 STR. Then, he landed while performing a front-flip with a grace only dancers are thought to have in front of QuickKid gazing at the meta hoping for some signs of the daggers hitting their mark. " Now that was only a taste of my power you whelp"  called the power driven Negative, now reaching his state of focused battle which couldn't be stopped even if the world was burning before his own eyes.

"I might as well finish this before we waste anymore of my time" sneered as Negative summoned a sword of the purest darkness and threw himself forward towards his enemy preforming sword techniques that would baffle even the best sword masters (however this was mostly to confuse QuickKid as to make him guess where Negative's sword would strike) and lunged for a paralyzing blow of 5 STR
