Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

The Legacy |
Personality: Champion protects the weak, deals swift justice to lawbreakers, and wages war against evil monsters that threaten the land. To Champion, courtesy involves more than merely following rules of etiquette. It is also an attitude, a way of presenting himself to the world. Champion carries himself proudly, maintains self-control, and accepts ill- mannered behavior with grace. He follows social customs to the best of his ability and he is polite and deferential to friends and strangers alike. Champion considers the feelings of others and takes care not to offend them. He always tries to demonstrate proper manners (shaking hands with friends, expressing gratitude for favors) and keeps himself well groomed (bathing regularly and wearing clean clothes) He speaks tactfully and kindly. He is also humble, while he may occasionally boast of his own skills he remains ever thankful for them, considering them gifts. Champion also encourages other people to practice their own skills; be it pole-dancing or painting. They must have been born with such talents for a reason and if they choose to neglect them they shall never know. He accepts that other people have different faiths than he, but this does not stop him from sharing his own faith regardless of how foolish it may seem in this day and age - that he worships the vast array of Egyptian deities. He tries to tell people that they are the source of his triumphant skills but very few believe him. Their ignorance may irritate him on the inside, but he merely shrugs it off and smiles on the outside. Champion is a being of compassion and mercy. When a combatant is in combat he is a skillful fighter who is not afraid to harm the other person but the second they yield and plead for mercy he will not hesitate to spare them. He is capable of forgiving everyone, regardless of their crime and would rather tell someone off for shoplifting and then buy the thing they stole for them than arrest them. He thinks that everyone deserves a second, third, forth chance. He will be quick to criticize someone's choice to kill their enemies. His distaste for them doing so comes from a mixture of two things; now their enemy may never right their wrongs and now they may never get to privately gloat about their victory again. He would kill someone if it was completely inavoidable. While he is usually not the 'ends justifies the means' kind of person if it came down to kill this man or have millions die he would reluctantly end their life as quickly and painlessly as he could. He does believe in mercy killing - if someone was in agony and begging for death he would deliver it, out of compassion. He also has no quarrel with killing beasts and monsters. In combat Champion will fight with honour and respect; if it is a duel then he will bow before-hand and will shake their hands if he loses and help them tend there wounds if he wins. If it was a fight between him and a foe who wished to end his life he would still bow, but if they lost he would bind them and hand them to the authorities and if they beat him he would congratulate them on their skill. Heck he might do that anyway, if they put up a good fight. Champion is reluctant, but able, to fight women. Despite all his honour he would constantly worried that he might harm them and destroy their natural beauty. So he will always go easy on a lady. Infact, he is very nice to ladies - chivalry is very high on his list of priorities. Be it opening doors for them or rescueing them against dragons. He is honest about his affections and can be very blunt if he finds himself growing attracted to a person. He would never have sex before marriage, unless it was to save another person's life. If a man were to insult a pleasant lady in his presence they would end up with a sore jaw. But if the lady they were insulting was dangerous he would simply tell them to be a little bit more mature when in combat; but he would save this confrontation until they were in a private location. Champion is terrified of spiders. When faced with one of any species and kind he will freeze up and feel as if he's lost all strength. They have too many legs, their bodies aren't the right size and they have too many eyes; it freaks him the hell out. Most spiders he encounters die shortly afterwards. History: Bomani was born in egypt, to a working class couple in a town which was near the great pyramids. While his birth was regular his childhood was not. From a very young age it was obvious that Bomani was a meta-human, considering he was capable of lifting the same amount as a fully grown man when he was 5. At first his mother was sceptical but she discovered that having a child who was super-strong was extremely useful. He was used for chores and odd-jobs; while it may sound cruel he actually enjoyed it. Eventually other people heard of his talents and by the time he was 9 he was dealing with small issues all over the town. The most serious of which was 'there's a crocodile in my house' and the silliest was 'this jar is pretty hard to open' all of which he was happy to help with. On his 16th birthday, Bomani was appreciated for all of his hard work and was given a reward by the town's mayor. However the first time he was called upon to do anything truely heroic was whenever an ambitious necromancer infiltrated the pyramids near their town. Mummified corpses began walking from they structure's gates and Bomani took it upon himself to stop them. He fought his way through dozens of them and made it to the pyramid. Following the trail of lit torches he eventually found the necromancer behind the crimes; he was dressed as a pharaoh and looked as if he was 300 years old. After a brief battle, Bomani punched him in the jaw and knocked him unconcious. When he hit against the concrete all of the dead were returned to rest. Resting for a few minutes, before sitting up - Bomani went to leave. But his attention was snatched by a glowing yellow orb levitating from an open coffin in the centre of the chamber. He walked towards it and slowly, extended his hand and his finger tips just brushed against the object. A bright white light filled the room and when he awoke, Bomani found himself lying on the ground which felt as if it were made of cold stone. Sitting up, he glanced around and noticed that he was on a cobblestone platform hovering it what looks like space. The pitch black, empty sky was dotted with what appeared to be galaxies that swirled and changed colour. Suddenly 5 figures rose from nothing, surrounding the small plate inwhich he lay on. "What the...?" He began, scratching his head. Did I get knocked out? He had no clue what was going on. Before he could continue his queries all of the large and impressive beings spoke at once. "Hello Bomani Adom. We have been paying close attention to your actions in our pyramid." he looked around at each of the creatures and recognised them from his history class. Anthur, Amun, Thoth, Hathor and Baset were all gathered around him. "W-what?" Bomani truely had no idea what was going on, and before he could ask any questions he was interrupted. "We are in need of an instrument - a Champion if you will' they paused, and Bomani slowly began to stand to his feet. 'And we have seen your potential; You are to be the people's Champion.' Bomani continued to stare in awe. 'You are to be our champion." Bomani shook his head, convinced that he was hallucinating; but decided that he would humour his insanity. "And what would me being your Champion involve?" his arms folded over. "You would protect the weak from those who would abuse them - you would protect the world from those who would do it harm - you will save the souls of all the damned and you will do so with honour and in our name." the empty space surrounding the platform began swirling with more galaxies to which Bodami dropped his jaw even further; slowly starting to realise that perhaps this wasn't just a crazy dream. "Do you accept, Bodami Adom?" Bomani bit his lips, before putting his hands on his hips. "I do." The gods looked at one another before replying simultaneously "Then, Bomani Adom, we name you our Champion - and bestow unto you, divine blessings." From the 5 large figures standing around him, one with two golden feathers sticking from his head shrunk down to roughly the same size as Bomani, who turned to look at him. "I am Anhur, and upon you I give the blessings of war' The headress wearing male stabbed his spear into the ground, the sounds of a battlefield could be heard and red energy moved from the spear's tip into Bomani's chest who suddenly felt his muscles grow and his body fill with energy; as well as knowledge of combat 'Your strength and skill shall match that of any armies' and the fire in your heart shall never be extinguished." pulling his spear out of the stone, the figure grew in size once more to join the council of five. Bomani turned to face the next spirit who shrunk itself down to his size. It was Amun, who two plumes on his head, the ankh symbol held in his left hand and in the other was a sceptre. "I am Amun; Kinf of the gods and deity of wind and fertility. I give unto you my blessings' Amun held the ankh in the air and from it came a bright grey energy and the sounds of howling winds, the grey energy swirled around Bomani like a tornado and he felt his body become lighter and his legs become stronger. 'With it, you shall be as swift as the wind." Bomani nodded, and the plume headed male grew in size to join the council of five. The next to shrink and join him was a man with the head of a baboon. Despite the savage creature's facial features he was the most well spoken of the group; he wielded a staff as well as an ankh. "I am Thoth; God of knowledge and magick. And I give unto you, Bomani Adom, my blessing' he pointed the staff at Bomani and vivid purple energy as weaved from it, accompanied by the sounds of frantic writing, and into Bomani's brain. Bomani felt a strange sensation; his mind being filled with knowledge of science and magical arts. Mosnters and beasts which he did not know existed spilled everywhere. Languages he had previously had no grasp off become second natural and he felt a strange power coursing through his veins. 'Use this knowledge well, for it will aid you in your future tasks." the baboon faced gentleman grew in size once more, to join the council of five. The first of the two women shrunk down next, and spoke in a very smooth and extremely beautiful voice. She wore a headdress and a sun disk with uraeus set between the cow-horns. She clutched onto a staff with both hands. "I am Hathor, goddess of beauty, the sky and music. And I give unto you my blessing.' the painfully beautiful woman blew Bomani a kiss and with it came a dark pink energy along with the sounds of climatic moaning. Bomani could feel his face gradually changing, becoming more beautiful. His Larynx mutated to near-perfection and he gained a mental insight over a vast majority of instruments and he felt an odd feeling manifest in his body. One of love, compassion and mercy. 'And with it I give you the ability to charm nigh-anyone and forgive any misdeeds." she smiled, nodded and then her body grew once more so she could rejoin the council of five. Bomani was beginning to feel confident in his knew roll, all of these blessings felt very good. The final of the five shrunk in size. She was a woman, dressed in a white dress with a very attractive body but beared the head of a cat. With her left hand she held an ankh and in the right a small wand. "I am Bastet; goddess of animals. and I give unto you, warrior, my blessing' and with that, her cat jaws opened and unleashed a mighty roar. From her fanged mouth came a green energy which weaved into Bomani's body. He gasped but felt no change. 'And with it, Animals shall accept you as one of their own - I shall protect you from them." Bastet nodded, as did Bomani before the cat woman grew back to her original size. "We have given you our blessing, Champion." they had returned to speaking at the same time once again, and Bomani nodded gratefully. "What now?" he asked confused, and all of the spirits looked to one another and then at him. "Now you go back to your world. You will protect the weak from those who would abuse them, you shall protect the world from those who would do it harm - you will save the souls of all the damned and you will do so with honour and in our name." Bomani glanced around and saw that there were bright yellow tears occuring in the sky, which were starting to consume this strange place. "Do not fail us." and then suddenly that world was gone. He awoke in the pyramid, wearing completely different clothing (as seen above). The necromancer was still on the ground unconcious, infact the dust from his impact on the ground had yet to settle. He'd wondered how much time had passed exactly before checking out his new apparel. Not only his clothes were different, his face was more refined - several simple; almost unnoticable things had changed and resulted in his face becoming remarkably more attractive. His muscles as grown and he noticed that he even walked faster than he had before. Making his way out of the pyramid, he held the necromancer by the collar and then threw him on the sand. At first people were silent, before they all cheered. Heeding what the spirits had said, he put his fists on his hips and spoke in a loud tone to the crowd. "People - I am your Champion." they all cheered, Egypt had never had a hero of it's own but now favour was smiling on them. The police kicked the necromancer in the face, and Champion immediately extended a hand to him. "Do not do that; he has suffered for his crimes - touch him again and you shall be arrested with him." the cop nodded, ashamed, and hauled the maleficent mage into the back of the police car. Champion spent the next 2 years fending off several different threats from Egypt. They ranged from terrorist attacks to evil Pharaohs being returned from the dead and trying to turn Egypt ancient again, but each time he prevailed. One by one, each was defeated or repelled so often that they gave up. Egypt was safer than it had ever been; but he remembered his tasks. He had to protect all of the people; and stories of America's stuggles were some of the worst. So eventually he left for the united states - with the intention of spreading joy and justice! [just to clarify the spirits which gave him his powers were not actual gods, they were spirits who set themselves up as gods during the egyptian times] |
The Powers |
Champion was originally a meta-human with superstrength however when extremely powerful spirits who set themselves up as gods in Egyptian times blessed him; his powers were greatly enhanced and he even gained some new ones. Power 1: Blessings of Anhur - Anhur was the Egyptian god of war and thus - his blessings on Bomani have turned him into a remarkably talented and supernaturally enhanced warrior.
Power 2: Blessings of Amun - Amun was the Egyptian god of fertility and the wind and his blessing has given Bomani's body another superhuman trait.
Power 3: Blessing of Thoth - Thoth was the egyptian god of wisdom and magick and his blessings have focused mainly on Bomani's mind altering it to be one of the most impressive that currently exist, as well as giving him the capability to make magical items for himself.
(The rest are all pretty much roleplay mechanics) Power 4: Blessing of Hathor - Hathor was the egyptian goddess of beauty, the sky and music, and her blessings given to Bomani's body have provided some rather pleasant effects.
Power 5: Blessing of Baset - Baset is the Egyptian goddess who is frequently associated with animals.
