The Lych (NPC Boss)

A mortician’s son from New York City turned serial killer at the age of twenty. Alister was well known for his mass murdrings and his being attributed for over 500 cases of murder, each victim with their heart torn out and their bodies strung up by their own intestines. The greatest Mystery of Alister Lych is the reason for his sudden resort to murder. Rumors say that he had been trying to consort with Demons, others said it was because he lacked the proper social development, and his discomfort around the living drove him to madness. The truth is far from it…

     The Lych is a supernatural entity created by Alister Lych piecing together fragments of not only his soul, but from the captured essences of the souls of his victims. Alister had not fallen to madness in the way the public had believed, no he had fallen into sanity as he believed, a way to defeat the inevitable end  which was Death, and the only way to defeat Death was en take Death into you and live forever. The Lyc was the end result of a ritual coined the name “Sacrimony” From the beginning portion of sacrifice, and the mony from matrimony as in a mrital union. This Sacrifice was the body of Alister Lych, and the matrimony was the union of the sould, piecing together onto Alister to become one super-souled entity that came to be known only as “The Lych”

     The Lych is known primarily as “The Great Deciever”, even to those who do not know his name. This name stems form the interesting fact that The Lych is a lunar opportunist Meta-human. This means that his powers are much more powerful in the presence of the moonlight, and the strength of those powers is determined by the current phase of the Moon. On the night of the Full Moon, the powers are at their prime, and at the New Moon, their powers are their weakest, being virtually non existent at that night.
     The Lych’s powers were discovered by a ‘man’ known only as Moonscryer, and Moonscryyer gave him an offer he couldn’t refuse. Moonscryer was the head of a secret group, hidden to all except its members; the group was called “The Midnight Messiah’s”. This group was composed of other Lunar opportunists, and meta humans whose powers relied heavily on darkness. The goal of this group was to find a way to command the moon without endangering the world, allowing them to encompass their dominion over the western hemisphere and become gods amongst even the strongest meta-humans. The group was lead by Moonscryer with the young Lych as his protégé.

     During his time in the Midnight Messiah’s The Lych found his affinity for children and teaching them the dark macabre ways of Midnight, this struck an idea in Moonscryer. Moonscryer ventured out and kidnapped two children form meta-human families. It was then, for the first time, that Lych’s TRUE powers had shown through. He had become one with the children, they worshiped and idolized him, and he was able to raise them into killing machines, and to this day the children follow him, and obey him. They are his left, and right hands. The Collector of Souls, and The Black Rose of Death.

     The Lych found himself in a situation where he was totally and entirely unprepared. The great Moonscryer had met his end to a Meta-human of great power, it came as no surprise to learn that it was ultimately due to the fact that the battle transpired during the day. The Lych was certain that he would never allow himself to be bested as his mentor was, and so he began utilizing his authority as the leader of the Messiah’s and he began killing off members in a total purge of the group. The Lych now stands alone as a member of the group, his disciples being the exceptions. The Lych coined this the Messiah’s age of Unbirth, because in order to keep the organization alive he had to unmake it so that he could properly restore it.

     Name: Deathstench Cloak
Abilities: Deathstench takes up both lv 10 spots. The cloak causes heavy damaged to any and all that touch The Lych. That being said, the ground beneath him seems to decay within a thirty yard radius, causing all plantlike to wither and die. The cloaks also allow him to amplify himself with a +4 PP to his strength, speed or Fighting Skills. The cloaks remain on Lych at all times and the stat booster can last up to 4 posts with a recharge time equal to the duration of the last activation.
     Description: This item is a manifestation of Lych’s ‘Sacrimony’ Soul, the cloak itself is imbued into Lych’s bones, making it impossible to remove by conventional means

Name: Rigor Mortis
       Abilities: Summons two creatures, Rigor and Mortis to fight for their master, The Lych. Usable once per topic. Grid:

          Description: This is a large heartshaped heart, beating with black energy inside the ribcage of Lych. It disintegrates in order to form Rigor and Morits. Rigor spears as the picture in the spoilers, and Mortis looks the same except it has purple wings and glowing purple eyes.

Name: Epitaph
     Abilities: This is a Scythe held by Lych. The Scythe itself is the spine column of a demon that is stretch and extendable, as well as highly flexible when desired to be. At the end of the scythe, opposite of the blade is a thirty-foot long chain, with a small bladed wheel at the end. This chain is under the command of Lych’s mind
     Description: This scythe was made from the spine of Lych’s first ‘supernatural’ victim. With the workings of enchantment the blade is now highly powerful and it has a long enchanted chain at the end that moves in accordance to Lych’s command

Name: Creeping Death
  Abilities: Lych deconstructs all nether infused materials nearby and conjures a large tempest of Nether-infused shrapnel around him, the more nether infused items were deconstructed, the more area this item can cover.
   Description: This is a runic marking made on the Atlas-vertebra.

Name: Grave
     Abilities: Lych can encase himself, or a summon in enchanted bone almost instantaneously that has high durability. Upon “Activation” The armor triggers a self-destruct. Bone lasts eight pots, Once per topic use.

Name: Tombstone
     Abilities: Lych erects a wall of Nether-infused Obsidian from the ground, spanning as far high( at max) as a man with (8) superhuman strength can jump, or less if he so desires.
Description: This item appears to be a mere dot in the middle of Lych’s bone forehead, it is made of condensed Nether-matter that is naturally attracted to Obsidian. Walls last until destroyed. Usable once every three posts

Name: Vox Nex
     Abilities: Lych sends whispers of doom into a Thrall, commanding them to lay down their life as a testimony of his power. The Thrall explodes dealing large amounts of damage
Description: The Thrall is an explosion of purple and blue flames.

Name: The Black Halo
     Abilities: Lych Conjures a large ring of black deathly energies. As the halo persists, it expands larger and larger, until it reaches it’s maximum stretching capacity (after three posts). Finally the Ring lowers and Rushes in, to Lych, filling him with the energy and causing an outpour from him, there is a hurricane style ‘explosion’ of energy that expands each post for two posts on a horizontal line that expands out to half the distance of the original ring. (3 post expansion of up to 50 yards, 75 yards, then 100 yards. Then two posts explosion 1/4th the distance of expansion, then ½) Recharge time is 5 posts.
     Description: This appears to be Lych’s lungs caught on a black fire of nether energy. This dissipates when the ‘item’ is in use and slowly reforms as it recharges.

     Abilities: Lych charges an item with Nether energy, making it harmful to touch and allowing it to amplify the power of his Creeping Death usable every other post.

Name: Roots of the Forbidden Fruit
     Abilities: Obsidian spikes rise up form the ground and wrap around Lych, causing a large Obsidian tree to grow around him, and from the tree drops three creatures of pure Nether-infused alabaster (Summon grid Int:1 Str:6 Spd:2 Dur:8  FS:7) Three * cool down. Summons persist until destroyed.

    Name: The Heartstrings
  Abilities: These are wire-like strings of death energy that Lych and use to whip at people, or wrap around himself as a Nether wire-wall to defend himself (item is activated, can only be activated once, persists until destroyed)
   Description: Rings on each of his fingers that glow with the purple energy of death.

  Name: Unholy Mending
  Abilities: Lych sends out fractions of his already shattered soul to mend an ally, or to mend himself Heal lasts for two posts with 2* recharge rate
    Description: This is a jet gem embedded in the center of Lych’s thoracic cavity, where many believe the soul to reside.

  Abilities: Lych consumes the essence of a Thrall, granting him a termporary shield against attackers
   Description: These are the unnatural canines on Lych’s jaw, the ones that make him appear to be the skeleton of a vampire. Shield lasts two posts 2* recharge
