Personality: Persephone is very charismatic and enthusiastic; A personality that draws people in, much like how a spider captures bugs in her web. She is very much a person who follows the “You scratch my back, I scratch yours,” rule. But she is scared, fearful, and a faker. She is very good at covering up her fear, what ifs, and everything has gone wrong factors.

History: Who am I? I am nobody of significant. I live off the underbelly of society, dealing with the darker creatures, and the overall rank of the world. I read people for a living; I read them from their ghosts that follow them. Everyone is haunted in more than one way, with secrets, choices, or the dead. I am haunted by my past or rather my Father's choices. My father was a Crime Lord, not the street kind you see getting busted regularly. But rather the rich and fancy kind, with his tentacles wrapped around almost every hot shot. Anyone who tried to oppose him vanished... or turned up dead. You think of it, my father dealt in it. Drugs, weaponry, black market goods, men, women, children as well as science, investing, cars, boats, and any other form of machinery. Mom and I never saw a dime of that money; otherwise I wouldn’t have ended up a bottom feeder, a high school dropout. At least… until my father was found dead in the alleyway with a bullet in his head… or rather I saw his ghost. As his sole Heir I got all the money, enemies, and problems… Cops were sniffing all over the place. I had to shut everything down to keep that black marker away from my name. I helped my dad out with a few deals when I was younger, mostly involving drugs… So to clean up, I sold my father’s company, turned in the names to the police (I made sure to get my name cleared), stored some money away for education, and donated everything away… except the best toys, Leaving me as me… with some interesting things on the side.
I do have an addiction problem, it helps mask my abilities and make them seem like they don’t exist. Heck, I can’t even touch a person without getting a blast of emotions and hormones. Sometimes a person feels like that they are not their own individual.
What am I doing now?
I am a detective, I solve crimes. I uncover people’s dirty work.
Now… I dare you, try and hide something from me.

The Powers

Power 1: (3) Psychometry- This is the primary reason why Persephone wears gloves. When she touches an object she can feel the owners emotions, fears, actions, intent, and secrets (with the RPer's permission of course). If the owner is deceased she can see how they died, felt, and/or previous actions. The thing about this ability is it is picky and she usually just picks up on emotions unless she has prolonged exposure to certain things like skin.

Power 2: (1) Persephone is a Medium, but not a very useful one. She can see and talk to the dead; it doesn't necessarily mean that they talk back.

Power 3: (2) Wings of the Dead- Persephone can summon smoke like wings and use them to fly. She tries not to use them too often because they are exhausting
