The Legacy

Personality: On first impression, Chris is what one would call a generally calm person, the type to keep cool even under the most chaotic of situations. He is the last one to really overreact and tends to be the first one to offer a peaceful resolution, save for the times that Michael would deign that he use more forceful measures. Due to his being the one that had brought the male to ascension, Chris looks to Michael as some sort of deity and will follow any order given without a second thought.

History: For the most part Chris had a normal life, born to a mother and a father, not really doing anything of note. He was not metahuman with a tragic backstory, just a simple human trying to make it in the world. The male graduated high school with average grades and moved on to a job, which was at a small bank in the city of Los Angeles. Where his life took a rather abrupt twist was upon meeting Michael, who was robbing the very bank that he had been working at, slashing him and a coworker with misanthropy. The result was his ascension into the realm of ethereals, and her subsequent descending into the realm of a mindless beast, both following after Michael’s orders; however only one got out of it alive. It was after this that he found himself working for Michael, or rather following his new god; the one that had allowed him to rise to a higher existence.

The Powers

Dark Ethereal Manipulation:His energy is coursing with the energy known as ethereal energy, a power that is only available to him through his ascension into becoming an Ethereal. He is capable of drawing upon this energy is various different ways, ranging from simple energy blasts to forming constructs to even creating barriers in case he needs to defend himself. This energy takes on a black color with a red crackling outline, the core a deep grape color. When in use his eyes take on a dark purple ring to them. [7 abil]

Ethereal Shielding: While his body has not become physically any tougher, Chris is constantly covered by a nearly invisible coating of ethereal energy, one that dampens and lessens most blows that could normally kill him. This field would appear once something of significant force slams into it, and anything above his perceived damage threshold will break through and harm him, usually to great extent. This defense by no means negates damage. [level 7 dur]

Dark Angel:A minor side effect of his ethereal energy infusion is that Chris is capable of sprouting strange black wings from his back, ones ringed with dark ethereal and capable of achieving flight.

Ethereally enhanced reflexes:The energy coursing through his mind has increased his ability to react to a speed higher than the average person and thus allows him greater fine control with his own energy.

Perfection: Like all Ethereal’s, Chris is powered by The Etherium and as such he works different than most beings. He does not need to eat, breathe and can go on for long periods with only a minimal amount of sleep. His body digests food differently and processes liquids far more efficiently than anyone else and alcohol is mostly useless to him. Genetically he is now what one would call perfect, the possibility of defects being passed down are slim to none, and most diseases find themselves unable to touch him.
