An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Canada was not a place that Dissonance had often visited; he tended to stick to the United States with an occasional trip back to Europe if he deemed it worthy. However he had heard a few rumours of Metahuman activity recently and decided it would be worth making the trip. The rumour was that a group of young Meta-human’s had been captured by a criminal gang and were being forced to commit petty crimes which were far beneath them. The gang consisted entirely of humans and the targets were almost always Meta, the humans believing they had superiority over the others as they existed first. They hid behind guns and weapons to enforce their views, possessing various technologies that allowed them to restrain and force their prisoners into doing things. Dissonance was of course present to try and put an end to all of this, in particular the people involved. He had conducted research and gained intelligence that tonight their target was a pharmaceutical company, the plan being to steal a vast quantity of drugs and pills to sell and continue financing their illegal operations. He had found the location of the company, which was called Master’s Pharmaceuticals and so he was waiting patiently for any sign of the attempted robbery.
He stood in an alley opposite one of the service entrances to the company and had shrouded himself in a trench coat, as he believed his costume would draw to much attention and so it was better hidden. It was late and very cold outside, the moisture on his breath showing up as small clouds when he exhaled. As he stood watching the streets he heard the sound of a van approaching from a distance, stepping back into the shadows he continued to watch as the van pulled up to one of the service entrances, just outside of a shutter door. A guard slowly walked up to the van with his little flashlight and knocked on the window to the car, which Dissonance then heard open. With two quick flashes the guard fell limp to the floor, the suppressed gunshots were like cannon’s to Dissonance but would have been silent to anybody else. Suddenly the shutter doors began to open and the van drove in, before they began to shut once again. Dissonance ran at full speed towards the door and made it in with great ease before anybody in the van even knew what would have been happening. He concealed himself once again in the shadows in the corner of the room behind a stack of boxes, using his radar like sense to watch what was going on with his ears.
A group of 8 people stepped out of the car, from what he had heard at least 2 of these individuals would be the Meta-human slaves, however at the moment he could not tell which ones, so he would continue to watch until he knew exactly who he was protecting and who he would bring a swift and painful end to. They were all covered in black military looking gear, with balaclava’s obscuring their faces so that they couldn’t be told apart from each other. Two of the men began shouting and everyone started moving quickly to pick up various boxes from around the room bringing them back to the van and loading it up. One of the men commanded another to follow him to the doors and then Dissonance saw the commanded man reach out and the shutter door begin to open again.
“First Meta’s a Technopath, interesting…” Dissonance thought to himself as he watched the event. It explained why no other security had turned up; he was obviously being made to block out the signals or any alarms that would be activated. He listened in and memorised the man’s heartbeat, as no two heartbeats were the same, so he would be able to tell the man apart from the group any time. The men went outside and dragged the guards body in and pushed him straight in to a corner before returning to their looting. Dissonance was fully ready to make a move soon, only one man was carrying a gun and he was stood close to the van, so he would be easy to dispatch of first. Firstly however, he needed to identify the other Meta so that he could ensure his safety in any battle that did take place.

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Metahuman crime had been increasing as of late within Travis Masters “domain” and that was enough to capture the perfect boys attention. It was not strange for metahumans to be pushed to crime, but with the task forces that Master Pharmaceuticals had been funding, he was sure that a lot of the crime would have found itself dissuaded but the human animal always found a way to get around even the most dire of measures. So he sent out a few of his own, having them do more physical research while he went about using the AI EVE to explore the cyber world, looking through anything that caught his interest. So far information that would help him find out what these criminals larger goal was had proved fruitless, he could tell that they were aiming for the fruits of Master’s pharmaceuticals riches.
While it was just a front, they were known for effective drugs, and that was enough to keep the business afloat and with record breaking profits. A few small shipments had been side winded within the past few weeks, yet they were ones that were of no concern and so Travis did not take any action against them. Why did a multibillion dollar company have to worry about around three thousand dollars of drugs being stolen? With Travis working behind the scenes, he found that the company would only begin to increase in size until they would climb higher within the realms of wealth and perhaps even take strides to go ahead of the greatest competitor that was Gene-Tech. as much as Travis enjoyed a little healthy competition, he did not like being outdone and that was what was happening.
His AI pinged up a few scattered texts and emails about something that he would find of interest, grey eyes narrowing as he let it project the information within his mind and to further allow him to follow upon what was being plotted. Along with that, his forerunners would return with information they had managed to glean from people within this gang for a profit that would outweigh the one they would receive from the latest job, which was stealing an experimental drug that his father had developed. One that was not supposed to be touched until it was shipped, yet these fools were hoping to sell it on the black market for a pretty penny without thinking of the possible consequences. The location would be the very building he was sitting in and so Travis would allow them to come, as they would only be met with disappointment. The drug was of course in the building, but not where they were hoping to find it.
Travis felt the tug of a technopath interfering with the cameras, and yet his AI overpowered that ones capabilities, and so he went into this with eyes that watched carefully. There were eight people, some of them likely metahumans and the others pseudo humans as he had come to call them. A dark grind formed upon his lips as he watched them from display within his head, mind proving more useful than a super computer and so he trusted it far more than an actual super computer when it came to things like that. Travis reclined within his chair and would wait, watching them begin to loot and yet the thing that they were likely looking for was not there, but in a silver case upon his desk. It would sell for perhaps fifty million in the hand of the right buyer and maybe twice to some, making it very important. ”Jason, please show our guests a good time.” He would mutter, his AI sending out a mental signal to the male, fifteen years in appearance.
He would then begin to walk through the building with a small spring within his step, cameras always following the precocious tyke as he went about his business, eventually finding the place that was being pillaged, around three in the middle of trying to move through the shutter between them and the van where they were hoping to bring the drugs. He would wait, Travis giving the mental command and the shutter would close with a loud clang, leaving a few of them closed with the dirty blond male who had arms crossed behind his back as the lights would flicker and then turn on, casting brilliance across the room. ”That stuffs not yours.” He said shaking his head and looking over the people with a sort of innocence mingled with annoyance and half interest.

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
As Dissonance prepared to make his move unexpected things began happening in the room. The shutter doors slammed shut nearly catching one of the men as they did so and leaving at least three of them trapped outside with the two Meta’s and three other humans remaining inside. The remaining men were all panicking; the Technopath began struggling to reopen the doors but was unable to have any effect on them, whilst the other men scrambled for their guns the man with the automatic looking for the target whilst the other two produced handguns. Another man ran behind the van and concealed himself behind the van and nobody seemed to heed much attention to it.
“That stuff’s not yours,” came a voice from the end of the room causing Dissonance to peer between the boxes at the newly presented individual. Immediately he sensed that something wasn’t what it seemed with the person standing there, mainly because they were a 15 year old child; At least in appearance, but the way he held himself contradicted that. He doubted any company would hire a 15-year-old security guard and started to suspect something more was happening at Master’s Pharmaceuticals and that this child was not all he appeared to be.
“He’s just a kid, put the gun down,” one of the panicked guards shouted across to his partner, but the mainly blankly refused.
“No. He’s seen our faces now, you know the rules.” The man with the automatic targeted his gun directly at the child and looked down the sights. Dissonance wasn’t about to let these human’s kill a child so he stood up from behind his box and fired a blast directly from the palm of his outstretched hand. It connected with the man holding the automatic weapon and rocketed him across the room, crushing his feeble body against one of the concrete walls on the other side. He slumped to the floor lifeless and his gun clanged to the floor by his side. The Technopath dived behind the van and the other two men pulled their guns on Dissonance but didn’t fire straight away. He looked around and could not see the man who had first concealed himself next to the van, although he could still sense every bit of the man using his radar sense. There it was, the second meta can render himself invisible and endlessly useful skill in situations like this he was sure.
“Who the hell are you?” one of the men shouted at him.
“I am Dissonance and I am here to show you who is really superior.”

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Guns would be raised in the direction of the youth known as Jason, and yet that did not worry Travis who sat within his chair with a smug grin, knowing that his sibling would not be defeated by something as mundane as a gun. Bullets may have moved rather fast, but it would take more than a bullet to kill him and with his mental prowess, he was deadly. However someone had come to the rescue of the young male, in the form of a strange burst of nearly invisible energy that knocked the gun out of the mans hand. It would clatter along the ground, along with the body of the male as Jason watched it do so, before turning back to the one that was threatening him with the same expression, considering how he would deal with the human and the only thing was to neutralize him. His big brother Trav did not like killing when he did not need to, and so the male would do the next best thing.
”Awww, you broke him.” Jason said sounding somewhat sad, as if death was something that saddened him, and yet he still looked upon the one that had told the male not to shoot at him. This was one that he would go easy on, until of course he did something stupid, and Travis told him to eliminate him. This action however caused some of the people to dive behind the van, while the young male simply stood there with a docile expression, watching them move and then an idea seemed to hit him like a ton of bricks. One arm stretched out as the van would then begin to lift into the air, hand following the ascent of the van until it stood suspended and with a flick of the wrist, he would send it flying, rolling along the ground with loud crashing noises, yet he had made sure no one was hurt.
”Trav likes when I show off, says its…something about data.’ he noted scratching the back of his head as he considered the humans with guns, one of them taking aim at him, as if that display was enough to make them fear the young male, one that looked so physically unintimidating that normally he would be pushed off as a nonthreat. ”Come on guys, fire your weird exploding sticks. They never touch me anyway.” he said with a chuckle as the invisible telekinetic barrier would form around him, one that would catch the bullets fired at him and then hold them there, suspended with his mind alone. They would fire and the bullets would pause a foot before him, small metals shards suspended as the male reached out and grabbed one.
He quickly jerked his hand away and sucked on an index finger, muttering something about heat before whining lightly to himself. ”You guys are mean, tryin to shoot a kid. Imma have to punish you.” He said and with a swipe of his hand, he would turn the bullets around, aimed at the legs of the people that shot at him and then returned fire.

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Everything was happening quickly now that Dissonance had made himself known, a sense of panic spreading throughout the room and only himself and the young boy appearing like they wanted to be there. Reaching out with an arm the child telekinetically lifted the van and launched it across the room to reveal the two hiding behind it. However, as Dissonance had expected only one was actually revealed, the other individual using his invisibility powers to stay well hidden out of sight. Sparks flew from underneath as the van scraped across the floor with chips of metal and paintwork leaving streaks across the ground.
The Technopath stayed at a safe distance preferring to keep out of the action, since he was only there against his will anyway. The Meta-human child taunted the guards and enticed them to fire at him and before Dissonance could do anything about it the bullets started ripping from the guns, yet all of them stopped dead in the air mere feet away from the child. The bullets hovered as if though suspended in space or floating in water. As the child touched one the excess heat from being launched out of the guns barrel burned his hand and he recoiled in shock. A lack of knowledge about the world and a childlike innocence was very prominent within the kid, but at the same time he was very powerful.
“I’mma have to punish you” were the last words to leave the child’s mouth before he did something that impressed Dissonance very much. The bullets pivoted on the points that they were held in the air and began ripping through the guards’ legs, causing them both to fall to their knees in excruciating pain, bursts of blood flying from each separate hit.
“Jesus kid, what the hell are you?” One of the guards cried out in pain as blood seeped from his legs down towards the ground, leaving him kneeling in a puddle of crimson fluid. Dissonance himself was quite curious to the answer, Meta of course, that much was glaringly obvious, but at such a young age he had to admit that he was impressed. Also, he had caught references to a ‘Trav,’ no doubt short for Travis so there was a third party present in the scenario that had chosen not to reveal himself for some reason or another. Now however he would turn his attention to the two other Meta’s in the room, the humans no longer being a threat to him at all.
Looking over he announced loudly to the two, “You two should follow me from now on, I am here to help you so do not worry.” Sensing the shock of the invisible man he decided to clarify a bit more.
“Yes, I know you’re there but you have nothing to fear from me, I promise I will get you to safety.”
Following that the invisible person made himself fully visible again and Dissonance could see he was only an adolescent, roughly 19 years in age. He appeared trusting and quite relieved to see his captors struggling on the floor.
As he turned back to the two guards on the ground still reeling in pain he couldn’t help but give out a little grin, then finally he looked back up at the boy.
“Thank you for your assistance child, if you would be so kind as to help me escort these two safely out of the building I would quite like to come back and speak with you.”

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Through the eyes of Jason, Travis took great pleasure in seeing the humans fall to the ground in great pain as the blood wouls gush from their wounds, burbling from beneath fabric and staining it a dark red. The male however was mostly as he was, though something within him did feel bad about hurting someone, they had tried to harm him and that was all that mattered. They would all fall to the ground and their guns clattered along the hard floor, Jason motioning as the guns would then be pulled from their grasp, most just being sent flying off but one coming towards Jason as he grasped the barrel and examined it. His eyes would scan from the barrel, to the sock and everywhere else in between as if trying to figure out how it worked.
He held it against his shoulder and aimed at one of the many overhead lights that had been activated and gave the trigger an experimental squeeze, as a loud bang would ring out and shatter one of the lights as a small sprinkle of glass fell down upon the floor, along with some of the light leaving the room. The male dropped the gun and pressed his hands over his ears for a moment, ringing painfully before he considered what Dissonance had said about taking these metahumans elsewhere. ”So what do I do Trav?”He thought to himself, knowing that his brother would hear him and respond.
”I want all of them brought to my main office.” The mental reply would be and the young male nodded, breathing through his nose as slowly hearing would return to him, eyes scanning over thre fallen humans and then the three metahumans.
”Sorry, but I need to take you three with me into the building actually. The director wants to see all of you or something like that.” he said simply as the door he walked through slid open, the male looking towards it and then back to the metahumans. ”He hates to wait though, gets all angry and stuffs, so I would wanna hurry up.”

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
The child was still just a child and this was obvious as he picked up a gun and played with it, shooting holes in the roof before dropping the weapon with fear and covering his ears. Dissonance was used to incredibly loud noises, his enhanced hearing filtering the sounds so that they would not cause any damage to he superior eardrums. However, he was working for a higher power within the complex as he kept receiving instructions from somewhere else. This time the instruction was for Dissonance and the young Meta-humans to follow him to ‘The Director’ whomever that might be. Dissonance was more than happy to oblige as he was very curious to the identity of the man, he had been listening intently but obviously the communication between him and the child was telepathic somehow, as there was not a sound to be heard.
Dissonance began to walk behind the young male and the other two followed him, the Technopath seeming very sheepish as he did, not fully trusting Dissonance or anybody else at this point in time. Perhaps he had been captive to long and had grown loyal to his captors, which would most certainly cause an inconvenience later on. For now he was keeping his distance, trailing behind the rest of the pack as they marched to the office. The invisible boy however seemed very pleased to be free, following Dissonance happily and even taking a kick at one of his kneeling captors as they exited the room, knocking him into the other and laughing as they both fell on to their sides in immense pain. It was pleasing to see that Dissonance had potentially saved somebody who could become an ally.
“What is your name?” Dissonance asked the boy whilst they followed.
“Johnny Adams sir, just want to say thanks for rescuing me! I was getting tired of these ass-clowns anyway.”
Dissonance gave a little smile at the boy’s enthusiasm, before glancing back to the other.
“And what about your friend there?”
“HAH, friend! That guys a complete nut-job; you know I think he actually liked being a slave. Never really says much if I’m honest.”
Dissonance made note of that, remembering that he would really have to keep an eye on this boy in case he tried anything. Already he knew the criminals would not have given up, it couldn’t be that long now until reinforcements arrived and tried to do some serious damage to the building.
Looking forward to the small boy who was guiding them Dissonance decided to engage in conversation and try to find out exactly what this place was.
“So, what is your name? and who exactly is this director you speak of?”

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Jason would walk on ahead, holding hands together behind his back humming to himself as they would move on through the hallway with the footsteps behind him, of the metahumans walking behind him; to meet the enigmatic alpha that ran the great “family” that he had personally formed. He would turn around enough to see what they were doing, and yet kept walking, making sure that he did not end up walking into a wall and hurting himself by just….well walking into a wall. Cameras would swivel upon their perches, looking over the three as they went and yet no security would be called to them. The director was waiting for them, and as such they would find themselves being unhindered until they reached this enigma. Still they would walk through the semi-lit building, until at last they reached an interesting looking elevator, though they were standard through the building.
Dissonance would speak to Jason and ask who he was. ”My name is Beta.” he would say simply, Travis having told him that he should not go about throwing his name, unless allowed to anyway. He would not answer about the director though, that would gain an answer far later. He opened the elevator and stepped in, waiting until the others walked in. He would motion with his hand, a secret compartment that seemed to have no evidence of any way to open it externally produced and with a press of the button they would begin to descend. This process felt slow, yet it would only take three minutes for them to reach many feet underground. One could feel a pressure coming in on them, yet it was nothing too overwhelming, just enough that it was palpable.
He would stand in silence for the entire descent, tapping a foot softly against the floor until atlast a ping would emanate through the elevator and the door opened. Beyond was a strange place, much like a lobby but pure white. Jason would step out into the lobby and could feel Travis’ mind being stretched out with the help of that ai of his. One would see a female with sandy blond hair behind a white desk, dressed in all white with eyes that were the same as Jason’s. She would smile to the young one and then consider the metahumans, suspicion within her eyes but not voicing them. “Beta, I assume these are the people Alpha wants to meet?”
”Yeah, can we get an elevator thing?” Jason asked.
“Yes, one will be prepped down the hallway.” She would say with a smile directing he down towards one of twelve hallways that branched off from this hub.

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Beta was the name that the child had given Dissonance. It was unusual as the name was that of a Greek alphabetical character and not an actual name. He began to wonder if the boy was human or some kind of android and that was simply his issue number. It would certainly fit with the technology mastery this place seemed to hide, even when they entered an elevator a secret button was produced to take them further down. Beta remained quiet about who exactly the director was, obviously hoping to the drama of a big reveal when they eventually came face to face. Johnny had been keeping close to Dissonance, as the whole thing was rather intimidating and true to form the Technopath stood separately from the group at the back of the elevator, appearing utterly perplexed and unnerved about the nature of the technology that he was surrounded by.
As they exited the elevator they entered a very clinical looking area. A large lobby that was almost entirely white and contained little to no decoration. A female sat behind a desk and the young boy approached her. Standing close Dissonance could see similarities in their features, almost no doubt remained that there was some sort of familial bond between the two and that it was likely a very close one. As they spoke the female referred to an individual called Alpha, whom Dissonance surmised to be the director they spoke of. On the theme of Greek letters he assumed the female must be Gamma as that would be next in the alphabet, or perhaps Omega as that was usually the next most popular. He followed the boy to yet another Elevator at the end of the hallway, he had to hope they were nearing their destination as the Technopath was getting even more restless by the second and Dissonance had very little trust in his allegiance to the humans, fearing some form of retaliation at any minute. They stepped inside the elevator and Dissonance readied himself to meet Alpha, maybe he would explain exactly what was going on.

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Without seeming to need any prompt he would begin to lead them down one of the hallways, keeping up a pace that would allow him to always stay a few steps ahead of the master of sound, as well as the other two metahumans that he was now escorting. This ended up leading them down a rather long white hallway, one that was considerably dazzling due to the illumination that would have made eyes not used to it a little irritated. They would walk along until they reached a single door, one that was only visible because of the lines that marked it against the stark white wall and the number pad beside it that served as the lock of sorts. Typing in a few numbers and letters, the door would slide open without a hitch and beyond was a rather bland office room.
There was a desk, a book shelf and a chair that was turned away from the four. ”So you must be Dissonance, master of sound.” The voice noted outloud, yet it seemed to contain nothing. One could call it monotone and they would have not been wrong, as the chair would swivel around to reveal the one that sat in it. A young male of around seventeen in age, sporting dirty blond hair cut in a style that one would call attractive with strange blue eyes that bordered upon grey. He was dressed in all white, wearing white jeans, with a white shirt and a white jacket over that with a single red spot within the hood that was down. His eyes scanned over the metahuman known as Dissonance with interest, much like a predator would size up their prey before pouncing, yet his posture did not betray anything.
”Sit, I’m sure we will have much to talk about. I’m Alpha, or you would know me better as Travis Masters. Son of the CEO of Masters pharmaceuticals.” He explained rather simply, not letting a hint of emotion slip through as he motioned towards the chairs available in the room, enough so that five could sit down, not including him.

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
The man was aware of his presence instantly and knew his name before he had even entered the room. He sat with chair turned away from the men almost like a James Bond villain waiting to reveal his master plan. As he swung the chair around Dissonance was initially surprised to find the boy sitting in it was a teenager, 18 at the most if he had to guess. Johnny seemed excited by the whole event, still grinning as he had been since his initial rescue and of course true to form the Technopath remained behind separated from the scenario. Dressed all in white this man wasn’t a typical teenager, in fact Dissonance had reason to doubt he was a teenager at all with everything odd that this place had held for him thus far.
The man offered them a seat and Dissonance politely accepted and sat down on a chair that was available alongside Johnny and reluctantly the Technopath boy, who’s name had still not been divulged. As he sat the man revealed himself to be Alpha as Dissonance had suspected. Evidently the leader and mastermind behind whatever operation was going on here. He then continued to explain that he was Travis Masters, son of the pharmaceutical companies CEO. Something that Dissonance found a little bit odd.
“It’s nice to meet you Travis, although i must ask, if you are only the son of a CEO then why you have summoned me here?”
He knew there would be a lot more going on than just what he had been let in on so far so continued to press with questions.
“I am also curious as to what exactly you are… as from your little display in getting us down here I can only surmise that you are,” Dissonance paused with a smirk, “shall we say, more than human”

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Jason would sit down along with the three metahumans, hands set down in his lap as he watched the proceedings silently and curiously, more than aware that Travis would prefer that he did not interrupt. Travis however considered the male as he spoke, considering how he would answer the male and what he would accept as an answer. He was indeed more than what one called humanity, but then again he planned to change the standard, so that he was human as much as humans were the superior species to the ape. His question amused Travis and so he would give him the answer that he usually gave. ”You could say that I am beyond human, the next stage within human evolution. Not metahuman but not human, something else entirely.” Travis noted with a smirk, resting his elbow on the table and resting his chin on his palms.
Even while he was dealing with these people, the AI within his head was already dealing with the policies that his company ran on. ”As for why I would call you here, its more of a why you were here tonight to thwart this attempted robbery. I was more than capable of protecting my assets.” he would note tapping the silver case upon the desk and then looking into the metahumans eyes. ”What was your reason for helping out this company, I assume its not out of the kindness of your heart.”

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
The man described himself as not meta-human, which at first put Dissonance a little bit on edge, but he also chose the reject the title of human claiming himself to be above it and something else entirely. This intrigued him as he had never stopped to really think about it, yes he hated humans and everything they had ever done to him, but he had never taken the time to ponder if there could be anything else apart from human and meta-human; A grey area in the Genus, so to speak. He studied the boy some more and it confirmed that he believed the boy; there was something about the boy that was way past his years, a sort of confidence and wisdom that would not be found in your average human. The boy continued to speak and began questioning Dissonance on his presence in the building, assuming that he had some sort of intent for being there and that it was just a happy coincidence that he had interrupted the heist that was going on.
He had the belief that Dissonance was there to help out the company or for some ulterior motive about what was in the building, hinted at by the motioning of a silver case that was placed on his desk. A small smirk came across Dissonance’s face as he began to explain the reality of the situation to Travis.
“I’m afraid you misinterpret my motives for you see, as noble a cause as I’m sure it is, I was not here for the benefit of your company…” He made a vague motion towards the boy’s that sat with him, “These boys were captive of the group that had staged the raid on your warehouse tonight,” with this the Technopath scoffed and then went back to ignoring the group, “hmm… The group are human’s that capture and abuse Meta-human’s forcing them to commit crime on their behalf. My goal was simply to free these boy’s and start to put an end to the rein of terror these human’s are spreading.”
He sat back in his chair and looked to Beta and then back to the one called Alpha. “I suppose you could say that our meeting is just a happy coincidence.”

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Travis would listen to the male, speaking about his intentions and something about the reign of humanity. A low chuckle escaped from his lips as if the male were some sort of self-important messiah. ”That’s an interesting phrase you use there, reign of terror humanity is spreading. If my information network is correct, the reign of terror is both ways, not simply humanity perpetrating it. Unless it was imagined the whole fiasco with New York two years ago.” Travis noted with a casual flick of the wrist, not exerting his own telekinetic powers but making an unconscious physical motion. If the metahuman did not like how he spoke that would have been their gripe, though Travis was aware that he was more than prepared to protect himself. ”Intentions aside, you managed to help my company and for that I suppose there is some sort of compensation in order.”

Re: An Interrupted Heist (Travis Masters)
Travis seemed to take slight issue in the way that Dissonance spoke, confused that terror could be spread only one way and thinking that there must be blame laid both ways in such a scenario.
"Hm.. My friend, terror is a matter of perspective. Human's would claim us terrorists that is for sure, but that is only through their own fear any action taken for the advancement of our kind is entirely necessary, thus not designed simply to incite terror. It is true that Meta's have not always acted accordingly and as with anything there are always rules that will be broken, however it is a simple an act of evolution. We are at a turning point where Meta-humanity is starting to flourish yet for a first time in history to survive we do not have to wipe out Humanity entirely. They simply must realise that we are genetically superior and should be treated as such, allowed to rule over them. Their resistance to change is what compels them to unnecessary acts of 'Terror'."
Dissonance leaned back in his chair allowing the man to once again speak, Johnny copied the motion appearing to almost idolise Dissonance having hung on his every word. Travis again began to speak of reward to which Dissonance was not particularly interested. Yet as always he carried himself politely when denying the mans offer.
"I am of course pleased that i managed to help your company in the course of my actions and maybe in the future should occasion present itself we could call each other allies. After all i feel we share a cause you and i. We fight for the future. For Evolution."
Sitting again forward in his chair he said to Travis.
"As for reward i have no particular desire, simply that i may escort these young men out of here and to safety where i can help them in the world," he looked directly to the man and said with a grin, "Unless your factory happens to make hands as well" He let out a small chuckle as he held up the bandaged appendage, which had still not fully recovered from the battle he had lost it in.
