Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Locus
Title: N/A
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Name: N/A
Villain Moniker: Locus
Age: Mid-30's
Gender: Male
Height: 6' 2”
Weight: Average
Appearance: Lanky body, almost vulpine- or wolf-like facial features. Has an almost ambiguously-brown skin tone, dark auburn-brown hair, and grey-green eyes. Both his hair and beard are kept short.
While he doesn't have a set costume or outfit, he does have a way to conceal his face when the need arises by use of his Mask.
Personality: Near-sociopathic in his tendencies: manipulative, calculating, ruthless, and selfish. Feels no empathy for others, instead viewing them as tools to further his goals--or at least that's what he likes to think. He can feel a bit of empathy for some people, but not very many and in a different manner than normal people. That combined with his superhuman intelligence gives him a moral code of sorts that seems quite strange from others' points of view, mostly with regards to dealing with people he deem to be “innocent” and telling the truth. However, even though he will try and prevent collateral loss of life, he'll do practically anything to save his life if he believes it is necessary. He also usually obscures the truth by omitting things, warping it to be “true” from a certain point of view, or clever wordplay.
History:
In short, the man currently known as “Locus” remembers nothing of his life before approximately one and a half years ago. The first thing he remembers is free-falling from a few kilometers above the earth, while what seemed to be a portal or gateway of some kind closed above him. As he fell, he realized that he wouldn't be able to survive the landing, and about 500 meters above the ground, a sphere encased him, protecting his body from the impact.
After walking out of the crater he made, he started looking for the nearest settlement. En route, he kept thinking of one thing: Locus. He knew it wasn't his name, but since he had literally no other form of identification--and it sounded somewhat badass--he chose it as an alias. Said settlement turned out to be a village on the edge of the Kalahari Desert, which is where he landed.
Locus, as he called himself now, quickly discovered that everyone he spoke with were idiots compared to himself. Regardless, he pressed on, hoping to find answers, but of course there were none. Soon afterwards, he got a job at one of the larger cities in South Africa to provide income and fund projects.
Since then, Locus has kept mostly in the shadows as he moved around the globe, watching events unfold in the world and experimenting with his powerful abilities while searching for the truth of what happened to him.
Powers:
~Spheres (Ability): Essentially, Locus has the ability to create and manipulate spheres of some sort of energy. Generally transparent unless he chooses to make them opaque, the spheres are hollow on the inside and usually of a blue-green color that can create a pleasant glow when desired. He can make entire spheres or parts of them solid or intangible with a thought, enabling things like a sphere being used as a barrier against bullets while the bottom passes through the ground. A side effect of this and how very, very thin the sphere's walls actually are, the spheres can actually slice through objects when positioned right while parts are solid and intangible. They can also be moved fast enough to punch through objects or demolish them, essentially acting as glowing wrecking balls. The spheres' surface emits a sort of micro-repulsion field that weakens and repels the molecular bonds of objects; while it doesn't really do too terribly much by itself in terms of sheer damage output, it does help to deflect attacks and smash through things. Multiple spheres (varies by size with around 45 being the highest number) can be created at once, and their size increased or shrunk at will, the largest being somewhere around twenty meters in diameter, while the smallest is just under a centimeter; time will tell if the spheres can be made any larger or smaller in the future as he increases in power. If the spheres take enough of a beating from, say, a high-Strength foe, they will shatter and flicker out of existence. Locus can will spheres to “explode” (which is actually a misnomer, but it's a fairly apt description) by rapidly expanding their size and possibly shattering, sending a spherical shockwave spreading out from where a sphere's surface was. In no way can the spheres injure Locus unless he explicitly wills it, which will probably never happen. Interestingly enough, he's discovered that certain people, most of whom are apparently metahumans, cannot be as easily encased or exploded from within by his spheres.
~Flight: Technically, this is part of his ability to create and manipulate spheres, but for the purposes of clarity they have been separated. A sphere can be used to fly by encasing Locus and accelerating, but they move considerably slower than other moving spheres this way, mainly because he's still learning how and adapting to flying in such a manner. Along with this, they also seem to change or warp gravity, inertia, and possibly friction while flying with someone inside (unless he wills otherwise, like when encasing an enemy and rapidly moving their sphere in the air), otherwise “passengers” would be tossed around inside and forced against the walls of the sphere. Note that this warping effect only enabled him to basically counteract momentum and gravity to the point where he would not be affected by them (such as being able to stand completely still while a sphere flies and not experience the g-forces that would otherwise act upon his body), nothing more.
~Superhuman Intelligence: Simply put, he's very smart. He knows basically all languages on Earth, has a photographic memory, and thinks faster than normal humans. How or why he has this particular metahuman ability in addition to the spheres one is a mystery thus far, but he fully intends to use his enhanced intelligence to find answers.

Re: Locus
Please include the rest of his powers.
Right now he has Flight, and whatever the 8 points of Ability is for.

Re: Locus
I originally had the Flight as part of the "Spheres" power, but I've separated them.
