Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
Excalibur City, the birthplace of Ancestor Dragon and Gene-Tech. The world leading genetic research and engineering company, led by the mysterious and enigmatic Robert Soros from his office in California. Though it was not the case this evening. Tonight the man was very certain that he would need to be with his central company, the base of it all. The Headquarters. His motivation was the events that had transpired after the events in New York, when he had uncovered the rather unnerving "truth" about a certain someone. A certain someone with the means to try and "take" the secrets he held for themselves. A sly smile worked it's way upon his face, itching more and more out of him as his mind played through the possibilities.
He sat upon the high-backed chair made of mahogany, his right ankle resting upon his left knee as he leaned back, dual index fingers pressed up against his lips in quiet contemplation. Emerald eyes narrowed, glowing eerily in the darkness as he glared to the threshold ahead of him. The fine stainless steel, the magnificent automated sliding steel plating, constructed for perfect protection...not that he needed any protecting. He stood up and cleared his throat, fixing his dressy blaiser and fixing his emerald colored tie to align perfectly front an center, and he decided that it was time to get to work. He walked from the luxury of his cozy little office to stand above, looking down on the lobby as his eyes shot through the darkness, the superior vision being of great help. He scanned the area over, rapidly shifting eyes as he smelled the air, not a single scent to pick up upon. With a slight smirk he descended the strairwell, one hand in pocket with the other gliding upon the pristine marble railing. Listening to his dress shoes make their echo through the building, it was a trek he made many times...and one he used with his superior hearing...a form of echo-location if you will. The clicks were all the same...every. single. step. He steadily and nonchalantly made his way into the center of the lobby when he found himself visited by his six little "friends". The stood before him, each one looking similar, but having unique appearance differences. Guardian, Scout, Technomancer, Medic, Vanguard and Sharps, whom replaced the former position of Atterrius clone. His eyes opened slightly, a smile still on his face as he glared down Scout.
"You're brash action's have started this turn of events, what do you have to say for yourself?" He asked, his voice kind, but the narrowed eye leer and the seemingly upbeat smile only made the six go wide-eyed as Scout began to fumble through his mind. Scout...or rather "Ouroboros" from the mission regarding the Nature spirit, stepped forward and lowered his head.
"There is nothing to say." Scout confessed, simply accepting his fate. The being "Robert Soros" simply closed his eyes and let out a satisfied drawn out hum. Scout was waiting...knowing the penalty for failure, his mind reeling with all of the vicious ends he could possibly meet by his master's hand.
"The penalty for failure is, of course, death. A total cessation of your existence. However... I must confess...your ability to "alter" things in my favor as you have... it's more than enough to make me forget about the insubordination." He said with a sigh. The words shocked all in attendance to be sure. While these six entities were all of the same mind, bound to their master, they were all the more shocked when they heard. Scout's eyes shot open, confused, baffled. Even with superhuman intellect, an unrivaled mind, an illuminatus amongst the cavemen that was mankind... he still could not understand what had happened. It was then he looked up and saw the smile on Robert's mouth. If he had a heart, it surely sank into the pits of his stomach. His fists clenched along side his jaw, perfect white teeth gritting together and an arched lip. "But I cannot allow you to go unpunished. Therefore YOU will be the one to defend this company from whatever Miss Magic will be throwing at us this evening." He said with an amused and twisted laugh as he turned and walked towards the back part of the facility.
Scout grunted in frustration. That bastard played out salvation with a silver tongue and burned black holes into with the saliva of malice. It would seem as though Scout would be here...forced to defend the facility and it's secret Genetic experiments. Unfortunately for Miss Magic, there was nothing in the facility regarding the Ethereal energy...but it's not as if she would know this. The question in all of the "Six" heads though was "why defend what isn't here?".... though none questioned their leader. For Robert Soros was Origin, and he ruled with an iron fist. Sharps sat there, a greedy and malevolent smile on his face. Scout cursed his use of the Ethereal eyes so close below The Crimson Witch's castle. Ouroboros was taking extra measures to ensure Marie knew nothing of his resurrection, and while Scout's actions had proven benign...the principle is still the same...
"I can't wait to watch this." He said a sharp ring in his voice, his eyes not blinking as he chuckled with that "nails on chalkboard" sadistic voice. Scout's jaw shook with rage, knowing that Origin would not send him into this unless he intended on him to die.
"Nothing can be done of it now. Scout you have your orders. The rest of you lot with me. We're going to New York..." Vanguard said simply, his quiet and hushed voice drawling out as he turned and walked away with arms folded over his chest. They quickly made their departure, turning to dust in the wind as stood there. Scout composed himself and grunted. If this was the way the true Ouroboros wished to do things, than so be it, he would have no issues making quick work of any and all whom trespassed. Little did he know however that Ouroboros himself did not venture far. Instead he only went to his lab, beneath the facility and began running the flashdrive, saving all the data he needed from his newest project... a rather fascinating little gene. Certainly a good bartering chip in the near future. But now he would simply need to wait for Scout to do his duty.

Re: Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
The Valtiari Trio had been slow in the business world. There were not very many individuals who needed tracking, no one who was important enough to be assassinated, and the countless robberies they had performed were becoming monotonous. It was not until very recently that their services were called upon by a more powerful individual. Even the Valtiari children had heard the rumors of the mechanical woman. For the damage she was able to do she was surprisingly elusive. In the more recent months it was said she had perished in a battle against a witch of great ability. The trio could only assume that she woman had returned to the land of the living once more to more than likely reclaim her hold on the technological world.
They were called to a meeting at a very obscure location and upon arriving there was no one in the area. It was an empty parking lot of an abandoned shopping center, the pavement was heavily cracked and weeds sprung up all over. A few moments after arriving someone, or something, slammed down in front of them. What stood before them was a robotic red suit of armor with female like features. The three of them could only assume this was the infamous Elena Vexus in the form she must have most recently taken. Not a word was spoken. The red figured handed them an envelope with a packet of information inside. Within the packet were instructions on what they were to accomplish, where the operation would take place, schematics, blueprints, various layouts, security information, and of course their payment. The robotic woman was already proving to be a good client as she had paid fifty percent upfront. The company that they were to investigate was 'Excalibur City'. The information packet read that it was the world leading genetic research and engineering company and the location they were to be infiltrating was their main headquarters in Canada. This was not going to be easy.
Vexus had provided them with most everything that they needed to infiltrate the facility. Valentina was dressed as one of the scientists that worked at the laboratory, even had her own key card. She easily entered the building, and there was a surprisingly small amount of security. For such a powerful company one would think it would be more difficult than just walking through the front door. Upon entering she proceeded to the room in which Elena instructed her to go. She had mostly memorized the lay out of the building that way if things got bad Valentina would easily be able to escape.
As she made her way through the winding hallways, she also noticed a great absence of employees. Something was not right here. Cut rate security with little to no employees? This was beginning to seem like a trap, so Valentina picked up the pace and in a few seconds she had arrived to the room that she needed. When she opened the doors lights flickered on high on the ceiling revealing a massive array of computers and tubes all lined up. The was a strange liquid bubbling through them, it seemed to possess a strange level of viscosity yet moved almost frictionlessly. It was almost mesmerizing, but there was work to be done. From her pockets Val pulled out a handful of tiny USB flash drives and began to plug them into the appropriate slots on as many computers as she could. As she plugged them in, the computer screens immediately turned black and began to pixelate upwards with a vibrant pink color. It was quite obvious that Vexus was hacking their systems from security records to top secret records. Her job was nearly done, but still yet it all too simple... Valentina still had her telepathic connection to her brothers who were standing by in case of an emergency, which was bound to happen at this rate.
As the screens filled up with pink, Valentina went through and removed the devices destroying each one as she went along. When they had all been destroyed, she exited the laboratory with the computer screens still shining bright pink. Moving at a relatively quick pace, the female finally approached the lobby and had just almost made it to the door when everything went red. Alarms began to blare and thick steel walls began to fall around the exits and before she had a chance to get herself out, she was locked in. Murphy's Law had finally kicked in, and now Valentina was somewhat trapped inside a billion dollar company's main lobby.
"Shit."

Re: Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
Scout stood there, left arm folded as his right elbow rested in the left palm, his hand up covering his mouth up as he looked to the woman in the lab coat. His face was cold, almost as if carved from marble. Blonde hair with golden roots up in a spike and his traditional Hydraskin suit on as he stepped down the stairwell, coming to the facility lobby. This was the very person whom had attempted to save the shape-shifter not long ago, though his glowing emerald eyes seemed to pierce the darkness like a knife. He stepped from the shadow, cast by the inverse stairwell. The moonlight shown through the glass above, reflecting off the pristine white tile below, a pale bluish hue cascading the two beings in the room, all the while moonlight danced off the wall in paling tones refracting off into the void where now the beings were "entrapped" inside.
"Did you really think it would be so simple as to walk into the worlds leading corporation in genetic advancement and research?" He said somehow monotone but still with the slightest undertone of disappointment, taking his time to step forward, allowing substantial distance while still being out of the shadow. The rather spacious area was more than enough room for them to work with. Ouroboros (Scout) began to walk around, circling the woman like a lion, though remaining as emotionless as possible. His breathing was silent, his steps were silent, and his senses were at their peak. He closed had finally circled her completely before stopping and standing to seemingly confront her. He was as well prepared as anyone could be with a simply look over. His let out a sigh as he clicked his tongue. The woman was obviously not what he was expecting, and he was rather disappointed, though it was of little consequence. He would simply make quick work of the woman before reclaiming that which was rightfully his...and Robort Soros'.
"I'm afraid this is the end of the line. You have props for the attempt my dear woman. Though I'm afraid the teachers lied when they said that effort alone would make the grade." He said through his hand, which was still over his mouth. He stood there for a moment, his personal curiosity piqued. Why would this woman be trying to steal information about the dealings of Robert Soros. It would have been more effective to simply have Technomancer alter the equipment to fry any attempt at hacking. Unless... the information was meant to be given up, or unimportant to whomever this woman was. "So tell me, Miss. Did Jessica Magic send you? Knowing her personally, and her seeing but a glimpse of my abilities.. I would say that either she WANTED you to die or you can really sell yourself. Regardless of reasoning...I'd like to take your name so I know what to put on the cardboard box I send back to your loved ones." He said, no shift in emotion, his mind reeling at rates that are inconceivable to the rest of the world around him.
Ouroboros looked up to the glass above, and soon the glass itself was covered by a dense and highly reliable shielding. The lobby was completely isolated form the remainder of the company, and it was simply these two, eye to eye. The darkness flooded the area, his eerily glowing emerald eyes being the only visible thing for a moment, when the power kicked on, and the room became illuminated by synthetic solar energy, the ceiling beginning to look like the sun itself were out. He stood there, expectantly, perfectly prepared for the first move. His mind began to shift, the woman was a rather unique one, one that might have had some genetic material worth harvesting. He placed the thought to the back of his mind as he stood there. He was careful to watch this girl's every move. His mind simply scoffed like he were a pretentious prick, stating this wouldn't take long...though All of his sensory told him that this was not to trust that thought.

Re: Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
Within a few moments of the alarms going off there was someone there to confront her. But that was just the thing, it was someone. Not an army of security, no one with guns, just this one person. They must have been expecting her or at least someone to break into their facility tonight. He made mention of how it would not be so easy to sneak into such a powerful company. She had gotten this far, and if she really wanted to she could escape in a blink of an eye and leave this poor fellow dumbfounded. Be though as it may, she was to see this mission through. Her back was to him currently and she was subtly zipping up her jacket to cover up the mouth piece she always wore.
Whoever this kid was he was very condescending. Next he mentioned about someone having sent her, which was true but his intel was off.
Jessica Magic..?" Valentina had not heard that name before. It would be no doubt that a company of this size had multiple enemies. This individual would have to try a little harder to get information out of her. Her name though, she would be proud to share.
"I am Valentina Xzayviera Valtiari." she said confidently as the woman quickly spun around removing her lab coat and throwing it up to block the line of vision between her and the man who has confronted her. In this very short instant, Valentina unsheathed her sword and launched it forward through the lab coat aiming to impale, cut, slice or wound this security guard of sorts in whatever way she could. Instantly following her throw she quickly moved to the location behind this individual where her sword would end up in order to catch it. By the end of all of this, the lab coat which she had shed would only just now be reaching the ground. Hopefully her speed would be able to catch this man off guard and this can be ended quickly...

Re: Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
"I am Valentina Xzayviera Valtiari." She said proudly. The very second she said this, Scout for the first time... was genuinely shocked. He could feel the thoughts of Robert Soros in his head, he could practically feel the dark haired man sitting in the proper posture, his hands over his mouth and a smirk playing at his lips. He swore for a moment he could even feel the breath escape his mouth when he chuckled. He heard the thoughts whisper the word "Interesting" and a curious hum was produced. Scout almost missed it, his attention snapped back when the lab coat was removed. His already knew what it meant. Anyone who's seen an anime knows that the clothing is a transition piece, or a guise.
His pupils Dilated, his heightened sensory kicking in, he heard ever step, every movement, every breath...every heart beat. To a highly developed mind, analyzing and processing information at the rates his could...everything in life was virtually in slow motion. He SAW her moving behind him. He saw the lab coat tear his pupils constricted down, focusing. Having the ability to process information is one thing. Reacting to it, is another. Thankfully...his body's reaction was up to snuff. With superior skill and reflexes He moved his head to the side and brought his hand up and stopped the blade. During all of this, not a single thing had changed about him, he remained a callous statue, a paragon of calm and collected. He turned his head slightly, an emerald eye flashing over his shoulder as he leered at the woman. Suddenly, the eye would vanish. Moving faster than the woman could ever have hoped to he reappeared behind her in an ethereal warp the base of the blade resting on her shoulder, the hilt presented as if meaning for her to take the blade back. He was rather disappointed, the attack was meant to be concealed...yes she used a rather "clichéd" covering for it. She would have been better off forcing him to move his positioning by means of running WITH her blade. He cleared his throat and spoke, stating the obvious.
"Too slow" He stated plainly he sighed and cleared his throat. "Since there is a chance that you are part of my bloodline...I'll offer this up once... Leave with what you came in with. Or Die. The choice is yours" ?He would offer this up to the woman who claimed to come form a similar surname. Should she in fact be of their blood line, he was certain that things would not go smoothly between Ouroboros and his self. He sighed, his belt would take time to recharge again, which meant he was going to need to deal with this speedster the old fashion way... Regardless of whatever this woman could do, surely the "Perfect Being" could match it without issue.

Re: Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
Valentina took back her blade in a casual manner, somewhat impressed with the way he was able to move behind her. She surely would have been able to track his movements if he had moved, but it was something faster than that. Maybe a form of teleportation? Regardless, this man was threatening her life and the Valtiari were not one to shy away from a challenge.
Valentina quickly dashed away, butting about 10 yards between the two of them nearly instantaneously. Her green eyes narrowed at the man across the room. She couldn't get a good read on him, obviously very cold and calculating. Not one who was a stranger to combat tactics either judging by his ability to appropriately counter her attack, even if it had not been anything all that flashy. She could need to see more of what he was capable of, that way she could make a judgment call on whether or not she would need to call in her siblings or not.
With sword in hand she ran at the man, but this time at a normal human pace. She then suddenly vanished in a burst of speed reappearing above the man again launching her sword downwards at him. After releasing the sword she moved again, this time appearing in close quarters behind him aiming to make contact with a well placed elbow jab into the man's back. If he still managed to follow her movements, she would retreat back up to one of the higher levels of this lobby area. Meanwhile, her two brothers, Yvvone and Giovanni, began to make their approach. They were quite some ways off, but the closer they were the easier the teleportation would be and the clearer the shared image would be. They were watching everything unfold as it happened, and Valentina was trying to relay as much information about this opponent as she could before calling in reinforcements, if necessary. That way, when her siblings arrived they would have already been well informed on the opponent. Little did their little friend know that the damage had already been done. There was nothing to be returned. Their employer, Vexus, has already received the information she wanted. She had provided them with advanced enough technology that simply transmitted all of the hacked data back to a secure personal server. They were done, the trio just needed to return alive and in one piece to receive the rest of their payment. Although at this point, it seemed like the most difficult part of this mission was going to be getting out alive..

Re: Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
Scout felt the blade being received, and so he let the blade slip form between his index finger and thumb, watching as the woman stepped at intense speeds putting about 10 yards between them. Ouroboros being a stickler for details noted that it was exactly thirty one feet, and that she had stopped on the dime, and suffered not "skid" factor where she was not in control of her speed. That was rather impressive, but it was nothing of consequence. Not now anyways. The woman was skilled yes...fast yes... but ultimately she was just another pretty face. Another opponent...another body for the gutter...another broken toy.
She began running at him, human speed. Ouroboros eye twitched slightly as he perceived this. She was not utilizing her inhuman speed. She was either lulling his mind into a false sense of security...have him perceive her at a rate before swiftly transitioning. Redline had done the same thing... it was either that, or the woman was incapable of sustaining her own speed for great distances or durations. She vanished, tracking her movements with relative ease. He was right... she had tried Redline's tactic. With his current... "inhibitions" he found himself on par with her skills. She launched her sword directly down at him before dashing from mid-air to the ground behind him. He stepped off to the side, avoiding the sword, and rose his hand, capturing the elbow which collided with the Hydraskin gauntlet. A smirk drew on his face, but the woman quickly retreated. His eyes followed her up to the upper deck....
leaving her sword behind...
He was not one to let the weapon pass up. He stepped back over, picking up the blade and flourishing it with the finger loops along the hilt in a masterful way, as if he had experience with the weapon his entire life, all before catching the hilt and looking to her. The blade itself was a magnificent construct, hollowed out...like a tuning fork. Molecular stimulation could make this a rather deadly weapon....vibrating the metal of this blade at an intense speed could potentially make it the most lethal thing in this woman's arsenal. He flipped the blade and cleared his throat, extending the hilt pointing the hilt to her location on the upper tier. He sighed before walking about five feet away, driving the finely crafted sword into the ground and stepping back, twelve feet away. He was careful to follow this so called... "Valtiari" woman.
"Are you doing this just to waste my time?" He asked with a sigh, not really irritated however...inconvenienced... as if the woman's presence was on the back burner of things he had to deal with. He already spent more time TALKING to this woman than it would take to actually KILL this woman. Perhaps he was putting too much "value" of potential blood-line relatives and the like. He folded his arms once more and closed his eyes, virtually mocking the woman... perhaps finally showing her just how much of a 'threat' she really was.

Re: Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
This man has not proved any sort of abilities past proficiency in close range combat, that of which even surpassed that of Valentina's. She would not be able to get anywhere with this man relying on her own abilities. With her brothers standing by she moved on with her plan.
Valentina jumped off the upper level of the lobby and before she landed on the ground moved in a burst of speed over to her sword which she pulled from the ground followed by another swift moment to put some more distance in between the two of them. Judging form the recent events, no more than a few yards would suffice for distance as he had not exhibited any speed related abilities, only reaction time and combat efficiency. The Valtiari would be utilizing his strengths against him.
Valentina began to unzip her jacket from the bottom up, revealing the bone armor she had fitted to her body, and also the number three she had tattooed on the inside of her breast which began to glow. She closed her eyes focusing for a moment. Silence fell on the room, and what broke it was a powerful explosion ringing out from behind Valentina blowing the doors and the steel wall in. The smoke and debris of which moved forward and obscured Valentina from view temporarily. From within, two birds about the size of pigeons composed of energy fluttered out gently before catching sight of the man that had engaged Valentina. The two of them darted towards him at a remarkable speed one after the other. When the first one made contact with something it would go off in a rather large explosion, and if the initial bird had not caused any or enough damage the second would follow with a blast of equal proportions. Followed by both of these attacks was Valentina moving at her full speed to try and land a hit on the man with her sword if he had managed to survive both of the exploding birds. Instead of just performing one slice and retreating, she went through a large set of precisely placed and well timed cuts in order to cause the most damage in the smallest amount of time. After her attack she would retreat back into the clearing smoke.
The debris from the blasts had settled and standing in front of the destroyed entrance of the charred lobby to this grand company was Valentina and two strikingly identical individuals. All three of them were dressed in similar outfits, white with black trim, and had a sword of some sort on their person. The two men stood on either side of their sister arms crossed while Valentina took a couple steps forward. With her jacket open and her sword at her side she stood powerfully before their opponent, figuring that he would now see this threat in a completely different light.
"This is the word's leading corporation in genetic advancement and research. Did you really think I would walk in here so simply with out backup..?" She said, mocking one of this man's earlier statements. This man would be experiencing the full power of The Valtiari Trio, and so would this fine establishment. Ms. Vexus had given no instructions on the condition of the facility following their exit...

Re: Whispers of doom in thy ear... (Closed to the Valtiari Trio)
It hit him...it all hit him. He was shocked, this is true. His pores began excreting the nanites, cloaking over his face as a secondary skin. The first bird smashed him straight in the shoulder, followed by the other, who blasted into the middle of his back. His posh black coat flew in response and the explosions rang out. The cuts were next, clashing against the armor. The barrage was fierce, but they ,made a rather fatal mistake. They underestimated him. He looked around, steel and metal thrown everywhere, he noticed the two men, each of them rather similar. The barrage of the blades ended and Ouroboros still stood, the Valtiari woman retreated through the smoke that kept him from seeing them...and vice-versa. The smoke continued to dissipate. The ethereal nanites of the hydraskin soaked back into his skin. His suit was hardly damaged, scuffs and a little "frills" of deformity through the intense heat. The armor immediately began to repair the minor Knicks and scuffs, all the while he simply stood there.
"This is the word's leading corporation in genetic advancement and research. Did you really think I would walk in here so simply with out backup..?" She said. A smirk found it's way to his face. If there was one thing the last name "Valtiari" was good for, it was apparently being confident.
"You believe you can win?" The lone voice of Ouroboros echoed through the lobby. A little chuckle followed before dying off behind the smoke. "Confidence...born of ignorance." He said. The second he said this the smoke instantly cleared. The hydraskin reformed perfectly, as if the man had been utterly untouched. He held up a hand and a smile. The hydraskin suit had done it's job. It generated a small bullet like sphere between his index finger and thumb. He simply stood there, a constant reminder that the fools had no chance against one such as him.
"Disgusting creatures. You come here, stumbling about in your own ignorance, incapable of understanding the gravitas of the being before you. I would enlighten you as to exactly what you were up against...but I doubt any of you have the actual capacity to fathom the nature of my very existence." He said, he held up the bullet...then he removed his fingers. The little bullet shot out at intense speeds. As far as he knew the woman would be the only one with the speed or reaction time to avoid it, though the others were rather enigmatic in nature. He knew one of them had a rather pathetic form of energy projection and the other seemed to like looking snazzy. He stepped forward, walking causally, his arms at his sides swinging appropriately. Ouroboros had that imperialistic swagge, that confident regal walk, only adding to his rather "pretentious" seeming attitude. though, perhaps it was considering it took God seven days to create paradise...and it took him a seventh of the time. He walked closer to the damage, seemingly to close distance rather slowly, but his senses...his eyes...they never stopped observing. In a matter of seconds he went form the dodging defendant, to a monster off it's leash.
...and it was only the beginning.
