Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
The small sound of the beeping alarm permeated the messy apartment room, Alex curled up within his own bed, a thin blanket propped over him. Medium length brown hair was sticking out in every direction, some of it actually forming bangs that hung over his forehead. The male yawned lightly, rubbing away the sleep from his brilliant blue eyes before silently smacking his lips. His father was likely still lunging on the couch from another night of drinking, which meant that he could possibly just sneak out and then be on his way to his first day of school. Slipping from his bed, Alexander rummaged through his clothing drawer and pulled out a simple knit blue sweater and slightly faded blue jeans, just something that he could wear really. A few beams of sunlight were breaking through the thin blinds that covered his window. Stepping through his own door, the male snuck along until he reached the door to the bathroom and locked himself in.
With that done he fell into the shower, stripping and letting the warm water wash over him, the feeling a welcome relief to the small shell of sweat that clung to his body. Alexander let a small sigh slip through his lips as he went about cleaning himself. Honestly if he could have done this for longer, then Alex would have, but hot water always had its limits. When that was done, the soaking wet male stepped from the shower and toweled himself off before changing into the clothes that he had picked out for himself, shaking his sopping wet hair, as the locks laid limply against his forehead. Then came the whole teeth brushing thing along with deodorant, and then for the most part he was ready. So the male slipped back through the small apartment once again, back into his own room.
A small backpack was laying messily by his bed, a few things poking out from within it. ”Looks like I have everything.” The male muttered to himself tugging the small zipper on the pack shut before slinging it onto his back, letting it sit comfortable there. Well, if he did remember correctly school was in around thirty minutes or so, which meant he had to get going. Slipping through the living room, and around the loudly snoring drunk, Alex stepped out into the cold morning air, taking it in deeply. So he began the long walk towards school, whistling lightly to himself as he walked along, occasionally looking to the cars that drove by. It was a short walk really, yet soon enough he walked upon it, the rather simple looking school; American public school it would seem.
Not that it was his first time being there, considering he had to memorize the path there anyway. A few more people around his age were milling about, from their vehicles and things of that nature, as he adjusted the wide rim glasses on his face. While he had to walk to the office first and collect his schedule, Alex found the day mostly uneventful. Mostly because his drunk father had…neglected to give him any money for lunch or whatever it was that they had here, so that left him with nothing save for a small snack thing in his bag. Scanning over his schedule, Alexander hummed lightly to himself, memorizing everything written on it as soon as he read it; a near perfect memory proving useful in a time like this. After that the day seemed to be going by slowly, male finding the whole thing somewhat…irksome.
So many people and so much required socialization that he would have rather avoided. One class that he perhaps found annoying more than anything was the Spanish class, considering that the teacher actually had him stand up and say something about himself, though he was rather tight fisted when it came to that. It seemed that a few of them enjoyed his…accent but he did not really care much when it came to that, they liked what they liked. He simply slunk into himself, writing down whatever needed to be written down and things like that, occasionally drawing a stray doodle as the class went on and then it ended. So the long day rolled on until it ended, which he was looking forward to.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
6:00 am. Well that's a disappointment. Just another day he'd guess as his phone rang out, playing the same custom ringtone he pulled off youtube far earlier. His lower jaw jutted out slightly as his eyes narrowed at the song. He threw the covers off himself as he leaned up and moved up off his back and to his feet. He scratched his stomach and shook his head like a dog, stepping up to his "rack" of shirts, which was nothing more than a large curtain hanger suspended by two open eye-hooks. He let out a drawn out sigh and peered through the darkness to his various shirts. If he didn't love carrots so much this might have been impossible. He began running his fingers, tapping shirts and pulling them back as he cycled through them, stopping at the thirteenth shirt. A plain white tee shirt that was nice and roomy, being a size too big. He then stepped over to the armoire which contained his television and reached to the built in drawers on the bottom. He drew out a teal and white flannel shirt and trying to maneuver around all the random furniture in his room... a year later and they were still "moving in" and using his room as a storage room, because mom insists on keeping a room open for Zach whenever he feels the urge to wander his ass back home. He took a pair of under armour shorts and essentials. He did this all within three minutes, walking for his door and stopping by the drums and picking up the drum sticks.
"All mistakes by misassociation- Lead to the darkest of times- Here I am with a new- declaration- It's one line and it reads : All. Out. War!" Björn Strid's voice as a wake up call, and the very drum frenzy being played by the drummer was replicated upside down. One of the few things Dyslexia had done well for Matthew...doing things messed up was pretty normal for him. With the end of it he hit the symbols and set the sticks back down, knowing his little drum fit would have awoken his younger sibling as he took his clothing up stairs. His brother was no doubt able to use up all the hot water, the bastard would probably do it just to spite the middle-child. Matthew would manage to make breakfast for himself, and he completely neglected his brother this time, leaving a note on the table saying "Friday, fend for yourself day!" with a satisfied smirk he took his excess clothing and moved up the stairs. True enough he probably was a bit of a jackass for doing that to his brother, however that was the price he paid for being insufficient, and in this world the weak would die so that the strong may thrive. T'was the ways of this world, as primitive as it may be.
After getting the morning grime off himself he quickly departed to the car, only to have a rather grumpy little brother try to glare him down. It was his fault he didn't get to eat anything, Friday had always been a fend for yourself day, and if he hadn't caught onto that by now then there was something seriously wrong with the fact he was getting all A's in his classes. Today was annoying to say the least. Nothing challenging, nothing above the normal and nothing at all worth noting beyond Tony's little brother and his antics at lunch, thought it was quite interesting to see Shael's response to it, apparently Shael knew how much it bothered Matt and was sticking up for him. While it was appreciated he had to go out of his way to make sure Shael (Shane) knew that it was not needed. Finally Spanish came around and there was nothing less than total havoc. There was yet another new kid, which was wonderful...hopefully this turned out better than the last introduction. "Pale Male" (as Matt dubbed him at this moment) stood up and introduced himself, sharing a little tid-bit in a rather interesting accent. That of course was before he took his seat right behind Shael.
"Alexander es de Inglaterra" Matt said to Shael, spelling it out on the paper. "Alexander is from England" He said, showing the actual writing on a flashcard.
"Mister May, would YOU perhaps like to teach the class?" Matt turned and planted his elbows on the table before licking his lips slightly before answering oh so carefree.
"Uh, yeah....sure." He said. Senora was rather shocked to say the least, whereas one may have expected him to decline on a lack of knowledge he was acting as if he were seriously ready to take over the class. She was apparently too shocked to answer as she cleared her throat and shook her head.
"Teach Mister Smith on your own time, not on mine." She promptly scoffed. Matthew shrugged and returned to doodling on his pad, completely forgetting about the little...well...big English boy behind Shael. The remainder of the day wnet on as planned. Matt went ot Football practice and he was schedualed to meet Shael for tutoring...which actually went REALLY well. Despite what everyone said, the boy had a brain on him and it was something Matt genuinely enjoyed helping to shape. The fact that Shael was a good kid and actually pretty enjoyable didn't hurt things either... Though Matthew couldn't help but feel that "Spidey Sense" or that Danger sense tingling in the back of his mind. The air had a slight tinge of mysticism within it, heralding a darker entity nearby. He concluded his lesson with Shael early as he sent him, Fera and Silus on their way home...metaphorically of course...Fera is, as awlays a strong independent woman who don't need no instructions...and Matthew rather likes his tongue...
"Well oh well...what have we here...?" He mused to himself as he closed his eyes and tried to sense the energy he felt just a little earlier. Whatever it was...it was in town, masking it's own self as best as it could. Something within him began stirring...as if the energy was familiar, Sin from deep within him echoed, calling out to find the mindless hunter of mankind...the creatures of nightmares

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
So he was the odd curiosity to some, occasionally a glance being shot his way here and there, though nothing substantial. Which came from a rather strange looking short tan male, with an unnervingly curious look within his eyes, as if he were…well he could not quite place that look within the males eyes. He met the male’s glance for a second before averting his eyes, returning his attention to whatever he was doodling on the notebook, chewing lightly on his lower lip while working on it. Eventually the male would even turn away his attention to something else, probably talking to his little friend or whatever, the one that seemed to enjoy making smart remarks to…the Senora. Not that he didn’t find them hilarious, no, he found it very amusing, not that the male showed any outward indication of it.
After that class Alex kind of drifted through the rest of the day, deflecting the attention of a rather friendly fellow by the name of Jordan, though how nice he was seemed a little…impossible. A chill ran across his back, something about it drawing a few hairs along the nape of his neck, and sending Alex into a slight fit of shuddering. The feeling passed as soon as it came, leaving him slightly bewildered but otherwise brushing it off as the wind. Part of him wanted to avoid returning to the squat apartment, if only to avoid seeing his oh so wonderful father again, but he had to go home eventually, even if it was to a drunk. Not that he couldn’t extend his absence until things would have been much friendlier back home, and that was what he would do.
So he would probably end up walking around park that he scoped out a day or two ago, small enough and not so often walked. Well by walk around it, he was more than likely just going to sit on a bench and think over something for a small while. So that was what he was going to do, writing down something within his little notepad, perhaps just something that was running through his mind, writing it all down as if he would forget it, but that was not the case in the least, his memory was rather impressive when compared to the average person. Time went by quickly with that and soon enough it seemed that the sun was setting, indicated by the flickering of a large fluorescent lighting pole. Its sickly pale light fell upon his pale skin and gave an otherworldly appearance to his unnatural eyes.
Then came the same sensation, one that caused his own fingers to suddenly grip onto the paper that he was running fingertips over, crumpling the material underneath. It were as if something were watching him, though there was nothing out there, or so that’s what his eyes told him. Anyone that was within the park were gone, leaving him seemingly alone for the most part. A shadow lurked beyond the line of sight, something that was indistinct but familiar. Alex rose from the bench, clutching onto the notepad as if thinking about running, yet before he could move, something had appeared and with a flash of jarring pain he was thrown onto the ground. A split lip dribbling blood down his chin as he pressed an index finger dumbly against it. Something was attacking him, but what the hell was it? Some kind of weird metahuman?

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
The creature sped past as it marked the boy, obviously not using it's full strength. It was within that moment the creature marked the boy. It's pheromones were on the child and it's stench "unsmellable" to all but the members of this creature's race began to flood the air like a beacon, calling all others to it. The creature stood about six and a half foot tall, obviously able to quickly outmatch the child, but the creature would be certainly the kind to play with the little morsel. The creature then began walking towards the boy, letting out little growls and grunts as it walked, almost as if it were in pain from walking. It's speed slowly began to pick up, and with it, it's eyes shifting a little more and more. It leapt over the child and turned walking towards him, displaying considerable jumping prowess and reflexes. It would seem as though it was able to cut off the child at any exit. He was going to have to outsmart the creature to survive...if he wasn't panicking. If he hadn't been used to seeing supernatural beasts this very well may scare the kid beyond the normal.
The park was littered with trash cans, a swing set and a small tubing place for the kids and otherwise the details beyond that were not of importance to the creature. It had not even thought that the human would use the environment to it's advantage, thought it was heavily guarding it's right side as a large gash extended form it's hip to it's underarm. It also had a wounded calf, on it's right leg, if it were to be damaged much further it may not be able to continue a full speed pursuit or leap as far...not that it's current full speed was impressive by any standards...it was an under conditioned human at best, yet it seemed as though the longer it kept on it's path...the faster it got. It let out a raging roar before it began forward again, moving slowly but very steadily (slowly) faster and faster.
Mathew was following the echoes of Sin as it called out, trying to pin point this creature, no doubt he was going to have hassles getting there. Hopefully he wasn't going to have to save anyone, because that was just awful to have to do. Not that he didn't just LOVE being the knight in shining armor, but he found it rather worrying to need to care for another individual when you were such a worthless hero yourself. He didn't exactrly know what he was going to do to explain this to his mom though. He pulled out his phone and began to text, even though he was driving. Mama-Bear. Gonna be late, sorry ; ( ~Matt He sent the message and left the rest of it up to the phone companies, though he wasn't sure what his mother's response was going to be, not that he really cared...well okay he did...a LOT, but that was besides the point. He had to do a little work, what if this think was allowed to exist and hurt his brother...or worse...what if it migrated away before Matt could study it. That was a truly terrifying thought. He WOULD study this creature...if it killed people.... preferably not, but still! His car peeled out of the parking lot, as he began driving at 45 in a 10mph zone. "Come on cops...don't get useful on me now." HE said to himself, turning on the radio, White Rabbit by Egypt Central began to play....how ironic...one of his favorite songs. The radio...the only place Matthew has any luck.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
The taste of iron flowed into his mouth as Alex slowly crawled to his feet, wiping some of the crimson fluid flowing from his lip onto the back of his hand, and collecting the slightly cracked glasses from the ground, placing them back on his face. For that moment he was dazed, the sudden blow more than enough to scramble his thoughts but they did not take too long to reorient themselves. The silver orbs slowly drifted upwards, attention being brought by what appeared to be a large creature, one that…he had not seen before anywhere. His eyes widened and mouth hung slightly agape, yet no sound would issue from his mouth, all he could do was look at it for a second in mute…terror. It was then that his mind kicked into overdrive, analyzing everything that he could about the creature before him and perhaps even how he could escape it. It was slow and deliberate within its movements, which meant that he could hopefully outmaneuver it.
Well he assumed that was the case, until it displayed a rather scary jumping prowess, easily jumping before what seemed like a means to escape, as if showing that he had no chance when it came to escaping. No, there had to be some way that he could do it, even if that meant that he got a little…creative. Looking at its body, Alex swore he saw something, a wound of some kind that could prove rather detrimental if aggravated. The question was now if he could even damage it in the first place, especially with what he had on hand. A pencil might have been something that was useful, but it required that he got close enough to do something with it, and this thing seemed kind of scary at the moment.
Slowly he reached into his backpack, keeping an eye upon the demonic being, feeling over the pen that was resting within one of the outer pockets, fingers curled around it as he prepared to use it. With all of the speed that Alex could afford, he rushed forward, keeping his mind all upon the goal, barely ducking under the attack that would have likely taken off his head, and slammed the pencil into the wounded region of the beasts calf, as neon purple blood spurted from the wound. A muffled sound emanated from the being as he quickly backpedaled, narrowly missing being bisected, claw tearing through the sweater that was hugging onto his body, as well as drawing a small cut. So with that painfully suicidal thing done, he ran, as fast as his weak legs could carry him, muscles slowly beginning to burn.
”This is what I get for staying out late.” Alex muttered, slowly trying to cope with what could potentially be some kind of supernatural thing. Did supernatural things exist, like magic and stuff like that? His lungs were beginning to burn, yet he could not let himself slow down, had to run away, yet he had no idea where. Dammit, he was freaking out and that would mean that he was more prone than he thought. Even with the wounded leg, he had a feeling that the thing would only be slowed down and for how long he was unsure. He had to keep looking for something that would provide safe haven and the only thing that came to mind was what appeared to be…a rather quaint looking jungle gym, something that looked somewhat like a glorified metal cage.
With a sudden burst of speed, he quickly leapt through the holes within the thing, and just in time as the thing slammed into the metal. While leaping into it caused his knees to become scraped, there was only a small amount blood that would stain his jeans, but nothing of importance. Turning backwards, he looked up to the thing that slammed an arm into the metal, causing it to buckle greatly under such force, yet at the same time it was not enough to fully destroy. It seemed that he had only bought himself a temporary reprieve and how long would that last?
Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
To say that the suicidal man hurt the beast was a very, VERY accurate statement. The pain discombobulated the beast for a moment, throwing off it's intentions of striking the boy to wanting to lick it's wounds with the tongue it doesn't have...or apparently it doesn't have. The creature snarled and muffled out screams and cried of pain while it swung around, leaving the boy to run as he could. He would quickly follow in pursuit though and h would come oh so very close to his target, before ramming into some form of metallic construct that the many human children enjoyed playing on. It was beyond him to be honest, why children loved it was beyond the beast, it proved rather annoying. After a moment it let out little gurgles and chittering as it lifted it's feet, revealing the creature had a grasping capability with it's feet and it propped itself up on the jungle gym and viewed it curiously. It finally understood! or so it thought. It was a defense bubble, so that it protected small puny humans form things like him. But it would not save him! The creature gave a half hearted punch and then a full blown one to which the metal bars bent. The creature chittered happily, before using all fours to climb and crawl around in a creepy manner, trying to move around and grab the human from wherever it was closest on, almost as if trying to discern an easier way to get the child. With a reach through he attempted to snag the child, but ultimately failing. The creature let out a disgruntled muffled growl as it made it's way to the top of the jungle gym and began to hammer on the top of the dome relentlessly. It would soon buckle under pressure and the creature would fall through.
The second it did, it let out a rather satisfied growl, bellowing, as if telling the child there truly was nowhere else to run. Before that could happen however, there was a siren, the LA police sounded lights on the creatures back. It turned to look over it's shoulder letting out a littler chittering before it walked to the metal bars. The officers made commands such as to put it's hands up. TO which the creature nearly hissed as it backed up and leapt from the hole it created in the jungle gym and perched on it before lunging at the officers, tearing one apart. Unfortunately it let the child go...fortunately, he had the child marked, and running wouldn't get him much farther, especially if the police couldn't save him...something mortals seemed to pride themselves in.
Matt found himself running behind, as always and he was not about to let a few cars in traffic stop him. He stepped out of his car and closed his eyes focusing as best as he could, and soon the car simply turned to that of spectral energy and disappeared into Matthew, enveloping him like mist before soaking in, hiding the car inside his inner world. There was an officer whom saw this and held up his gun. Of course Matthew just rolled his eyes as he noticed the officer being the typical anti-metahuman bastard the entire force was made up of, and Matthew just looked at him. "Put your hands on your head!" The man commanded.
"Nah, I'm good man. Thanks though. Matt said, activating the Ring of Eluned on a thought and instantly becoming invisible. After a moments notice anyone who was looking at the scene suddenly began to realize the Officer was pointing his gun at nothing. The look on the officer's face was priceless as he shook his head in disbelief, and looked around nervously as people were remarking about how he wasn't aiming at anything. This left the officer confused as he nor anyone else were able to remember the man known as Matthew. Matthew would need to proceed by foot. Park Avenue...the park was literally a mile from here, not too far, but more than he really wanted to work with... oh well. He took off on the road, knowing that in a mile he'd reach the back entrance or rather, the exit of the park, he had to go through a series of alleyways though, due to the damn apartment complexes all the way from here to the 1/2 way mark where it became all woods and hiking trail. That would be fun... sarcasm...of course.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
Alex found himself watching the thing with a morbid curiosity as it attempted to slam through the temporary protection with the powerful looking arms, eyes narrowing as he wondered how long it would hold. From all of the bending that it was doing, it would not be long and then he would find himself once again stuck in a bad situation. Within a minute it simply gave up and tried another approach, reaching through the bars in an attempt to grab him with grasping fingers, something that would have worked if Alex were not so ready to get out of its reach. Each time it came rather close, but not enough, as he wormed his way out of his reach and so the game of cat and mouse went like that. Okay, the game would not work or it, but that was only valid so long as the male could move out of the way.
Eventually Alex knew that he would grow tired, and then he would just end up being caught anyway, for whatever this thing wanted to do to him. It probably wanted to eat him, which did not sound very appealing in the last. When it was obvious that this whole grasping tactic would not work, the monster went back to slamming at to jungle gym thing, and soon enough the metal simply gave way, letting it fall through the hole. Quickly Alex scrambled backwards, pressing his back against the bars as if that would do anything, yet he had a feeling that it would not. Before the inevitable part where he was ripped into pieces, a siren sounded off and he found his heart nearly leaping through his chest.
Okay, if he knew anything that was the sound of an officer, which meant that they had a gun. Well, hopefully half of what he heard about American was true and the assholes carried guns, otherwise he was just twice as screwed. Yupp, he had a gun, even though it was not the most impressive of guns, and the creature turned its sights upon the officer instead. If they shot this thing down, then he would not have to worry about anything anymore and if they did not, that meant it would probably be distracted by them enough that he could run off. The monster leapt through the bars and quickly began to dispatch the officer, which meant that it was time for him to run, and run fast. Worming through the bars, Alex took off as far as his legs could carry him, ending up taking a rather improvised shortcut through a large collection of bushes.
The small cut on his chest was beginning to burn and all of the things that were slapping against his chest did not help any, as the blood began to stain his sweater, turning the area into an ugly dark red color. His breath was beginning to become haggard, as if the running itself was becoming a chore, and why shouldn’t it have been? Alex was not quite used to all of this running, so any that he did would only end up with him being rather tired from the effort. Then came the sound of something else rustling, a tree breaking over and that..did not bode well. Were there more of the goddamn things running around here, and were they all after him? While he would have been flattered, monsters trying to kill you is not something you would blush about.
Breaking through the stretch of bushy area, Alexander suddenly ducked into an alleyway, growing rather…tired, legs protesting rather loudly, as he slammed into a large dumpster. ”Ow.” He muttered sliding downward against the thing.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
The creature made quick work of the officers, even going to the extent of all out dismemberment in case these were some of those weird healing humans. The creature sniffed as glowing amber eyes narrowed, turning an even deeper orange as it let out a little growl. It would make its way as quickly as possible, though the creature would relent for a small time. It wanted the human to believe that the creature had lost, to believe all was well. It was then that the creature would strike once more. It let out a series of grunts, one could only assume it was laughing or amused by the circumstance. It waited for a good five minutes before it took off, slowly picking up speed, it was going to soon appear right at his marks location. What a surprise it would be...or so it thought.
Matt turned down yet another alleyway, not too much farther now. He stopped hearing a slamming noise. He rolled his eyes, he really hoped it wasn't a weird mugging or rape thing, because he REALLY wanted to study this creature and if stopping this caused him to lose track of the creature, someone was going to pay. He turned the corner to see a boy sliding down against a dumpster. Well that was something you saw everyday. No seriously, in LA you saw this all the time. Kids whose parent's don't understand them, or self entitled brats who run away from home or go to a random alley to take their own lives. Matt turned to ignore him and run off, but he sighed, shaking his head. He had to remind himself that everybody needs a hand sometime. He couldn't help but notice though...part of his shirt was discolored. Matt rolled his eyes, he was too far in now to pull out. He walked towards the kid with shaggy brown hair and glasses. He looked pretty cut up now that he was able to look over the person a little more carefully. Not saying anything he knelt down next to the kid and examined him slightly. He leaned off to the side slightly, getting a better look at the blood soaking through the sweater.
Matt went to speak, but he found himself slightly cut off when there was a zipping past him. With advanced neurological development, Matthew was able to clearly see what was happening. This was the creature. It rushed past, using one clawed hand to try and rage across the boy's ribs as well as take Matt's arm off with a clear cut. Matt didn't have time to see if he hit the other male or not, but he did know that he himself was unable to dodge. His mind perceived it, but the body lacked the proper reaction time. Matt cursed as his natural regeneration kicked in and the creature stopped a little farther down the alley. Rather than leaving an arm behind and appearing as a meta-human, he forced himself through his bio-chemical manipulation to reattach the arm through Sin-tendrils, and giving it only the appearance that he dodged it. Matt bit his lower lip as he watched the creature growl. Matt looked to the Kid, arched an eyebrow and placed a hand on his chest, keeping him back against the dumpster. When Matthew placed his hand on the other person, he bestowed upon his own regeneration to them, healing any wounds that the child had suffered. The creature lunged at them, seeing the boy healing obviously outraged it. In mid air, the creature was tackled by....packing ribbons? To most it would appear that way as the pinkish red ribbon tied around the beast, binding it up. To those whom knew better, this ribbon was actually Gleipnir, the "fetters" which bound Fenrir itself. Matthew stood up and looked the creature in the eyes before scoffing. The fetters sparked and the beast disintegrated into a pile glowing blue and purple ashes, before losing their supernatural glow and simply settling as ashes. Matthew turned and looked back at the boy before hearing a screech...that kind of screech was rather signature. It was a Banshee... this was a BAAAAAD place to be right now. Matthew looked to the kid.
"A Banshee. I'd move if I were you." Matt said as he turned and began walking down the alleyway in a straight line, remaining within Alex' sight for the time being.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
His shoulder ached from the sudden impact, Alex leaning against the metallic dumpster and taking in a few weak breaths. Beads of sweat were beginning to fall down his forehead, feeling rather cold and the night air did not help in anyway. If tonight were the night he were going to die, all it was missing was a little rain, that would have sure added to the melodramatic air, or maybe he was over thinking this whole thing. For all he knew there was nothing else coming after him, and if that were the case then he should be fine, save for the painful cut that was bleeding out on his chest. Slowly pushing himself up against the dumpster, Alex slowly calmed his breaths, counting down in his head until his eyes caught sight of something…no it was someone. Someone had found him in a place like this?
He would have smiled, but the person seemed like a perfect stranger, well except for the fact that they looked like they could go to the same school as him. So a male of high school age turned his way, perhaps considering just leaving him there, which would have been fine either way. Well, he was walking towards him, which meant that leaving him there was not part of the strangers agenda, which seemed to work well enough, it meant the whole dying alone in an alleyway part might be avoided. Kneeling down the male seemed to be examining him, looking over any damage that had be fallen him during his little incursion, which came down to one nasty cut and a bunch of rather nasty looking scrapes. Alexander looked curiously to the male, internally wondering what he was planning to do now.
Would he just leave him there or somehow help him? Unless the thing came back, then he was likely to die just like the poor officer that was ripped apart. What then caught his attention was something zipping past him and the other male, something that moved too fast for him to really react. Within an instant he felt an immense amount of pain as blood spurted from his chest, splashing across the ground wetly. Alex was perhaps too shocked to even react, something had torn through his flesh like paper, and perhaps even the ribs, which meant that he was likely to die anyway. Wonderful, it was when he moved to America that mystical things began trying to murder him. Instead of standing like he was planning to do, he simply fell weakly against the metal dumpster, breathing growing weaker. Dying felt kind of weird, at first it felt painful and now he only felt weightlessness.
A hand pressed against his chest, sending a lance of pain through his chest and then something began to happen. Within seconds the pain would begin to vanish, and then it seemed as if it had done so entirely? What the hell was happening? Alex had let out an involuntary groan though that silenced itself as soon as it slipped out, and he had to look downwards. The damaged flesh upon his chest was beginning to close, ribs seeming to right themselves and then the flesh closing over that. Within at least a minute his body was fine, even the minor wounds that he had received before were gone. Looking upwards he saw something, the creature that was attacking him being reduced to glowing ashes, ones that soon lost their color altogether. Had this guy managed to kill the thing?
If that were the case, then he was likely safer with him then initially though, and that was a good thing. He would have relaxed, had the male not heard the ear shattering screech that forced him to press his own hands against his ears, teeth grinding together as the sound reached even through that. Now they were dealing with some kind of screaming monster? ”Come on, not another of these things.” He thought frantically to himself, looking to the mystery man as if he had some kind of answer to the problem at hand, and it seemed that he did. They were dealing with something called a Banshee now, which meant it was some kind of screaming spirit; brilliant. Without even needing to be prompted, Alex began to follow after the male, making sure that he stayed within sight, as if doing otherwise would have somehow ended with him being killed by this…Banshee.
Afterall, if this guy could kill that demonic thing, then he should be able to kill that Banshee thing too. It was either that, or all of the stuff that was happening had rattled his brain more than he thought.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
Matthew didn't say anything. He couldn't help but notice that the child didn't thank him. Contrary to popular belief this actually made Matthew pleased for the sheer fact it gave him one of four paths to understanding this boy's personality, which path was correct was yet to be seen. He also didn't exactly like frantic "Thank you's" he much preferred the meaningful thank you...and if someone was going to be all frantic on him that was the quickest way to make him feel uncomfortable. Granted there were always exceptions, but all that aside he had already noticed the boy was following him. Strength in numbers? No more like this kid was keeping with him because he felt that Matthew could handle anything that was thrown his (or rather THEIR) way. He stopped dead still and sighed as he looked over his shoulder, he noticed the boy following him, almost crashing back into him, though he may have it didn't matter though. He looked at the four-eyes kid from over his shoulder and actually noticed that his eyes were a rather....eerie blue. Much like many other introverts, Matthew had a slight issue with making eye contact for so long, he couldn't go longer than three seconds without having his eyes shift. He almost felt as though he should say something, but that wasn't really in his job description... He resumed walking when they reached a little path that led back to a little cul de sac of sorts.
There was an unusual chill in the region, all breath within the area now had a visible crystalized fog with it as the chill had become suddenly greater. Matthew unfortunately could not tell that it was cold. He suffered from a rather rare "condition" where as some people simply could not feel pain, he could not feel the cold. He cleared his throat before he actually noticed his breath. His head twitched like a bird whom had heard something, or an animal who knew something was near. His head was on a twitchy styled swivel as he looked around. The Banshee was here. Gleipnir circled around Matt as he glanced around. The Banshee appeared as a hooded woman, boney fingers completely masked. The ribbon shot out at the banshee, but whatever she did managed to repel the ribbons, tattering them and forcing them to retreat into the confines of the Inner world. Matt took a deep breath in and then exhaled, finally noticing just how cold it had gotten...not by the feel of the atmosphere...but even breathing was becoming labored. The damn Banshee was making breathing difficult, she needed to be dealt with before she killed this kid with Matt. Matt snapped his fingers and Ichavial shot form under his sleeve, in two parts before each end flew out and snapped together, a black liquid becoming the draw-string. The hood of the Banshee fell revealing a very gruesome undead face. Matthew had danced with such creatures before and so he was unphased, though he had to wonder how the person who was "accompanying" him was going to react to it...
Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
At this point there was nothing else that he could do but follow after the male, unless he really wanted to end up getting himself killed. As fun as standing around in the alleyway would have been, the rather eerie screech made it clear it would have not been the most intelligent idea that ran through his mind. Part of him wondered if the male minded his not thanking him, considering that it was customary to thank someone upon being rescued by them, yet the idea did not really dig into his mind. Besides, it would have been simply out of his little comfort zone to suddenly say thank you to a stranger, even if they had indeed saved his life from some kind of demon. Looking upwards, a brief moment of eye contact was made before he let his gaze fall to the ground, the three seconds more than he was willing to have allowed in any other situation.
It was beginning to grow cold, an unusual child running along his back and sending a shudder through his body, teeth chattering together lowly. Something was lowering the temperature within the area, but was it the Banshee thing that this guy was talking about? Goosebumps rose in rapid succession along his arms, though for the most part the long sleeves were still intact, which meant that atleast his arms were somewhat warmer. It was then that the creature made an appearance, dispelling the ribbons that had possibly destroyed the last thing that this guy had killed, floating eerily above the ground and simply looking upon them. Something told him that this being was more dangerous than the last one, which meant he would have to be even more careful around it. The hood fell back as this guy produced as bow, the skeletal visage shocking him somewhat.
Alexander inhaled sharply, eyes widening before narrowing. Wonderful, so they were dealing with some kind of undead monstrosity, and yet he found his own vocal cords not working. Running seemed like it would do nothing, if this thing were even as half as powerful as he were giving it credit. His breath was now coming out in small white clouds, lungs beginning to ache with each inhale, which along with the temperature suggested that he might end up dying from the hypothermia alone if this thing did not do it. This Banshee revealed gruesome looking teeth in what could be considered an approximation of a smile before unleashing the unearthly scream. This sound ached outwards, Alex pressing his hands against his ears once again as a small trail of blood began to trickle from them, warm against his flesh as it fell, though as soon as they burst his eardrums would heal over.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
"Of course." Matt said as he covered his ears and growled. The damn thing let out a ballistic screech. Matt glared at Alex, still not knowing his name before he noticed his glasses cracking. Well this was just wonderful. His eardrums ruptured. He was totally deaf. This was good...to an extent. He could work without distraction, and he simply needed to function off of his other senses....he also didn't exactly need to worry about the ballistic screech anymore now did he. He drew back on the bow and released, the single arrow firing out as ten arrows all that fired out at odd angles but then suddenly turned in and converged at the Banshee, obviously aiming all at her. If they did not hit her, they would hit the environment and turn into the black addicting substance known as Sin. His equilibrium was off, he knew this all to well, he was trusting Ichavial to help him out, the damn bow never did him wrong yet. He suddenly got an idea. He may very well not be able to get this creature while he's like this... so he would simply need to level the playing field. He began to rapidly pull back and fire out arrows left and right, several arrows hitting the terrain randomly. He would occasionally fire off one or two into the banshee's direction, though there wasn't much he could do at the moment with his balance all off like this. He probably began to look drunk as he tried to stabilize himself. This would be easier if he had a regeneration factor...
"KEEP BACK." Matt commanded, though he wasn't screaming at the boy...though the blood running down his ears suggested he had been deafened by the screech prior.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
Even with the blood in his ears, Alex could tell that his eardrums were beginning to heal, the fluid only proving to numb his sense of hearing somewhat. All he could do at the moment was watch the Banshee that was floating about in the air, looking at the two with is dead eyes and preparing to react to the arrows that were aimed towards it. Something about these arrows were strange though, he could not quite place it but they were indeed strange. It appeared that the male was just firing wildly, yet when these arrows hit the ground they converted to a pitch black substance, liquid in texture. Was his plan involving the strange substance that he was launching out? When it seemed that one of the arrows would slam into the Banshee, it simply slipped through a mist that stood within the place that it was.
The mist rose into the air, before forming as the deadly Banshee, now closer to them than before and then it unleashed the ghastly cry once again. Alex found himself recoiling once again, more blood bursting from within his ears, along with the debilitating pain. Honestly, if it were not for the regeneration that found itself being brought upon him, then he would have been painfully deaf and dizzy moments ago, and more prone to a painful death. Something was drawing these things to him, and Alex could not tell what, all he knew was that something was. It had to be that, considering that this was the first night in the spam of his entire life that he even got a glimpse of anything supernatural. A scream rose above the ringing of his ears, it was the male telling him something and by reading his lips he had an idea.
Stepping back, the male would leave everything to him, or as much as he could anyway.

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
Matthew noted the arrow flying into the Banshee, but he wasn't entirely sure if it were some form of spectral feat or if it were his fucked up equilibrium that made him misperceive things. All he knew was that the arrows were now just a massive puddle beneath the Banshee. In their current state, He was rather livid about this whole situation, especially when he realized that his nose was beginning to bleed. The first sign, for him anyway, that he was getting hypothermic. He only had so much time to do this...so he'd need to get to work. Pulling back on Ichavial once more, he began to unleash a barrage of arrows many of them missing, however one more time he barraged the Banshee with the wrath of his bow, targeting it. If the arrows went through he'd find himself in an interesting situation, one he would need to get out of immediately. He held the scales of Sobek that he summoned inside his pocket and pulled them out after he attacked the Banshee. He looked to Alex and groaned as he pointed to a different dumpster. "GET ON IT!" He instructed. The last thing he needed was this kid getting in the way. Granted his shoes were perfectly fine, but it was still the small chance. He pulled back on Ichavial and let lose a few more barrages before he held up the scales of Sobek, instantly al the liquid in the area amplified by seven fold. Each arrow produced an 8 ounce puddle, and each shot conceived 10 shots. He's fired out twelve shots and much of it surrounding the Banshee or being under the Banshee. This time as the arrows reached the Banshee, the scales took effect, and all the liquid was amplified by seven times. 6720 ounces of the substance Sin flooded around the Banshee... or for the lesser educated...it was 840 cans of coke-a-cola. Sin flashed and as he did, he himself turned into a puddle of Sin, waiting and watching as the Banshee made it's move. This was reaching it's close....

Re: Encounters of the Sinful variety [Sin]
His fingers were beginning to sting, flesh turning an agitated red as the cold began to take effect in the tissues of the male. What kept frostbite from taking effect was the fact that his flesh was continually rejuvenating itself, which still baffled the male. As far as he knew, he was no metahuman and regeneration seemed too situational of an ability to appear even if he were one, unless of course it were somehow granted to him. Then the question was who had done it, and how. Slowly he would attempt to remove the drying blood from his ears, more of it sloshing out of his canals in thick globules , yet that did not completely restore his hearing. Still, one voice could tear through the deafness and that was the voice of the male that was perhaps trying to help him.
He ordered Alex to get onto a nearby dumpster and so he would, crawling up on it, and sitting there while he waited. The added elevation would prove helpful in some ways, but why did he want him up here? All he could do was watch as the male unleashed more of the arrows upon the Banshee, though something else was behind the assault. As if he were aiming for something in particular, and the Banshee was slowly being lured into whatever it was that the male had in mind. It was made obvious soon enough that he was attempting to somehow have the Banshee be swept up within the strange substance that he was raining upon it, though it only seemed to disappear within a flash, no mist, only it suddenly flickering out of view.
Yet the male seemed to do something similar, turning into a liquid and joining the liquids that were sloshing about on the ground. So he planned to hide himself within the liquid below him? Alex thought over this, feeling over the now healed area of his chest that was once ripped asunder. Within an instant there was the chilling feeling as if it had appeared rather close to him, and then he felt something sharp pressed against his neck, like daggers almost. These fingernails lightly dug into his skin, drawing a trickle of blood that ran down the soft flesh of his neck, before being raked harshly across his throat, drawing a rather large gout of blood from his throat, as some of it bubbled from his mouth, eyes widening in brief shock. It was only the healing factor placed upon him that kept Alex from dying.
