I'm not the best artist, and I have no way of coloring the guy in(No way I'll make him look this good on paint). This will have to make due. He's got a smaller body, not overly muscular, for max mobility. His costumes colors are black on the edges, and yellow in the middle of the chest where the black paw print is. His eye's on the costume are all white.

The Legacy

Personality: Patrick' personality is a tad dependent on his situation. In High School; surrounded by all the jocks, popular kids, and the hot school girls, Patrick is a shy social outcast. He plays no sports, takes part in no clubs, he doesn't even participate in Gym classes. He just sits on the side lines and does his homework like a good nerd. His academic status is genius level, he's a very smart individual. Top of his class in the sciences and Mathematics. If he wasn't a bit of a slacker he'd be an honor student.

However, when this shy nerd gets behind a mask, his personality does a 180. When facing danger, Beast-Man is sarcastic, and humorous. He always comes up with observational punch-lines to either annoy his foes, or entertain himself. He has the mentality of a thrill seeker when running around the city dressed in his suit, often hopping from buildings to buildings, laughing and yelling "Woohoo!" in the rush. But when times get rough, and his task dire, Beast-Man never loses his head. His sarcastic personality doesn't mean he isn't serious about what he has to do, and who he is. He's a hero.

History: Patrick's history is nothing too interesting. His parents weren't killed in a bloody gunfight... he's not some alien from another planet. He's just some kid, who was at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Patrick grew up in a small home with his single parent Mother, his father left the duo when Patrick was only six. His mother is a Nurse, and his Father was a biologist, so biology pretty much ran in the family. Patrick lived a very normal life, going through High School. He had a part-time job at a pet shop, taking care of the animals, and he joined an internship at the local genetics laboratory. He loved his job, and his time at the Genetics lab. Dividing his time between two of his favorite things: animals, and science.

Though while at the facility, he always noticed the shady "Mad scientist" types walking into this one restricted room. When he asked about the room, no one would give him any useful information. He heard many rumors of everything from Gene-splicing, to engineering a plague. His teenage curiosity was too much for him to handle. As soon as he found an opening, he took his chance to sneak into the lab to take a look. What he found was nothing except for a small canister. He inspected it closely, picking it up with his hand. While holding it, his hand nicked a button laid on the side of the canister and a plume of strange gas blasted into his face. It smelt horrible and his coughed as the chemicals filled his lungs. He ran out of the facility and back home as quick as he can, where he fell dangerously ill in the night.

When he awoke the next morning, he felt fine. No. Better than fine. He smacked the off button on his alarm clock and it shattered, Patrick was stunned, but shrugged it off. He went to his part time job that afternoon, and the animals went crazy. Barking, hissing, chirping, like Patrick was this foreign animal. He had to take the day off.

Over the coarse of a few months, Patrick was learning that he was stronger, faster, more agile than he'd ever been. Or even humanly possible. He could lift weights that a body builder could, sprint at great speeds like a greyhound, and move around obstacles with the ease and flow of a professional free-runner. He started practicing his new abilities after school and work every day, honing them to finesse.

One night, on a Halloween, after he bought some animal mask at a street side shop, Patrick walked down the street when his keen sense of hearing picked up screams. He ran towards them to discover a woman was being man-handled by a group of thugs. Patrick was scared at first, but for some reason, being behind a mask gave him confidence. He confronted the thugs, and they attacked. Patrick used his abilities and ended up defeating the thugs with relative ease. The woman thanked him, and he took off, running back to his home. That day got him thinking, his powers made him strong, and the city he lived in needed someone with his abilities. That day he decided that he will fight crime, and all those who wish to harm good people, and he'd do it behind a mask.

And there he is! I hope he's not too Spider-Man like. Spidey was the primary inspiration of this guy, but I try to avoid ripping him off as much as possible. <3
