The Looks

Rin wears extremely dark clothes to contrast with her extremely fair skin. Her clothes are a mix of professional and street punk. Dress pants, dress shirt, and tight vest mixed with her fingerless, studded gloves, undersized leather jacket, and large leather boots. The boots boost her up to 5'5'' instead of her usual 5'2''. Despite her Asian decent she would appear to be Caucasian. Her tight, sharp facial features would probably make her look quite cute if she ever stopped looking so angry or locked in thought all the time. Her eyes are a piercing silver a black ring around the outside. The left half of her hair is shaved off while it hangs straight and elegant on the right. Her hair is naturally black though she has died it pink on the tips.

The Legacy

Personality: Rin sees herself as a natural leader and a self made woman. She is very demanding and is in no way afraid to make her opinion known. She attempts to establish her dominance in just about every relationship. As one may expect, this attitude makes it nearly impossible for her to take orders and has a general distaste for the law. In addition to this, Rin enjoys manipulating others in anyway that gets them to carry out her will. She has no problem lying or stealing and blackmail has become something of a hobby of hers. She takes great pleasure in getting other people to d things for her. She is confident and direct when she can be and tends to think of herself with an almost god-like status. She tends to look down on others and has very little tolerance for them. Despite her love for controlling other people she prefers to spend most of her time alone. While dreaming of a grand life for herself in the future she feels most at home in the lowest places and among criminals and thugs. Once again, in contrast to this she does not partake in many of the activities of criminals (drugs, alcohol) and attempts to keep her body healthy and clean.

History: Rin is the daughter of a woman named Kana Taka and a demon. Rin knows nothing of her father aside from the fact that he was a demon, and even that information did not come for many years. Her mother raised her in a town in California for the first four years of her life. This is when she was given away. Rin does not know why she was given away and never heard from her mother again. Rin was passed along to several foster homes for the next several years. No family kept her for long as she was a very unruly, very violent child. At the age of twelve, however, this changed. Rin began to develop her powers, and with them her personality. This, however began a whole new set of problems. She became more controlled but also more sadistic. She would use her powers to terrorize her foster families and neighborhoods. This is also when she began to get involved with gang activity. After her first arrest she had decided she had had enough and ran away. This is also the point she changed her own last name to Ten which she chose only because it was simple.

This began her life on the street. After about a year of running with gangs (usually taking them over) and developing her powers she met Bak. Bak was a demon, drawn to her from the use of her powers. They met only briefly but he explained to her her demon heritage and all that it entailed. After this brief encounter Rin went into a deep depression and shortly after left her new "home". She now wanders pretty aimlessly, looking for answers to questions she doesn't have.

Mother - Rin hates her mother, though she can't say why. Despite having no memory of her she feels that a strong feeling of hatred on a personal level. She also feels as though there is something she should remember about her but can't.

Father - Her feelings towards her father are the drive for everything she does. After her conversation with Bak she made the conscious decision to avoid using her demonic powers and avoid controlling people. She believes both these things to be an impulse inherited from her father and has vowed to halt her ambitions until she can confirm or deny that theory.

Humans- Sees humans as lesser people. Seeks to enslave humanity but has not attempted to do so until she has found her father.

Demons - Hates them all. Likely just a byproduct of her complex feelings for her father.

Criminals - Rin has seedy connections in many major cities, especially L.A. and New York. She also tends to connect herself quickly with the underbelly of any new place she visits. She is the unofficially founder and leader and a small group of pot-head, teenagers in New York City left homeless from the cities destruction.

The Powers

Power 1: Rin lacks the ability to actually use her demonic powers herself. Instead, she infuses her demon aura into other living creatures. She calls this process Corruption though she may refer to it as Infusion while in the presence of others. This process takes a great deal of time and is extremely unpleasant for the one receiving her power. When the transfer is complete the target becomes a far more powerful and aggressive demonic version of itself. The demon creatures seem to have a link to Rin, she can give them orders and she seems to be able to sense them once they leave to carry out her orders. This transformation is not permanent. The creatures will turn back within a few hours depending on the size of the creature and its level of willpower. The creature may or may not die when changing back, also controlled by strength and willpower. While she has never corrupted a human being she believes it is possible if the receiver were completely willing to be corrupted and was strong enough to survive the process.

Power 2: Not a power as much as a lack of a power. Rin's demonic energy can only manifest in the body of others. This means that Rin herself is physically human. She possesses no special traits beyond that which she has worked for by normal means.

You need to look at our Summoning System and base your Corruption off of that. You would have up to 7 in summonings; but it would be possessing NPCs. This power would only work on NPCs and on PCs that agree to you using it.

You are eligible for 1 free point in wealth.

That point does not go into a separate stat. (I'm sure you understood that; just clarifying.)
