Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

The Legacy |
Personality: Coming out of a great personal tragedy, Diana has become a changed young lady. Gone is the haze of the demon sword's curse, and remains the girl who ran so many years ago, with no direction. having spent most of her sword career as a mercenary, she now proactively tests the reins of heroism- perhaps driven by guilt, or perhaps deep down, Diana is still that good kid who had a loving family. Still, Diana is also a blood knight who relishes the thrill of combat, moreso than the act of killing. History: Early Life: Princess Diana Lucia Pentheselea Rossini y Mendoza was the only child born to Jacob Mendoza, a Filipino-Chinese businessman, and Monica Rossini, a Swedish-Italian Model who settled down in the Philippines. Raised by servants- maids, nannies, drivers, cooks, tutors, Princess's life was pampered and comfortable, never denied whatever she wanted. Ironically, she only wanted two things in life- family and friends. Her parents though, were hardly there, and her enormously entitled nature had difficulty making or keeping any friends. She was effectively, alone. The Imaginary Friend: When she was around seven years old Diana and her family vacationed in Japan, and she loved every second of it. They visited a shrine outside Tokyo, and watched the festivals and legends of an ancient warrior spirit. Since that night she began to have an imaginary friend. This friend knew many things, and taught Diana many games, games involving punching and kicking and swinging sticks. Before long her parents saw this as some kind of attention disorder coupled with hyper activity. They enrolled her in martial arts- Karate first. Her ADHD turned into razor sharp focus. She could play with other kids now, play in the way her imaginary friend tells her to. She made friends, and more importantly she made tons of medals. All the medals made her parents proud, and Diana grew to bond with her father. At last, it seemed as though their little spoiled girl had grown out of it and become a functional member of society. Soon one martial art became two, then four, until Diana was recognized as a star on the rise in her home country. Her greatest passion would be Kendo- a pricey hobby that didn't quite appeal to her parents or country of origin, but she loved it anyway and made it her own. Her imaginary friend faded away, but would always be in the back of her mind. When she was almost 15 years old Diana would return to Japan, as her country's first real competitor in a sport seen as exclusive for Japanese. She was superbly talented, much to the dismay of the old Japanese masters. She fought a much older Kendo student, the Japanese's star pupil, and floored him. It was a clean fight, but the Japanese judges decided Diana would only be third place over all- despite utterly dominating the nationals. Diana didn't say a word... she instead visited the Japanese team back stage, and without provocation, crippled several students using her Bokken, as well as their masters. This caused a terrible incident and Diana's coach had to apologize vehemently on her behalf. She was stripped of her position and banned from her sport for life. This single incident almost ended Kendo's life in her country. It was only the second worst day of her life. Bind the Blade, Seal the Pact: Broken hearted, she visited the warrior shrine and her imaginary friend returned, this time much more vivid than ever. She dismissed him as a side effect of her depression coupled with missing her medication, but her friend stubbornly told her she was in mortal danger. "I have no time for your games" she said, when she saw the Kenjutsu masters arriving at the shrine carrying real swords, garbed in dark armor. They asked who she was talking to; she gave them no answer. They began talking of how Diana's fighting style was reminiscent of an evil death god. Diana called them crazy. They started by killing Diana's coach. Diana quickly split, unable to bear the horror of what she saw. Not having anywhere to go, her friend led her into the shrine, and into a hidden passage. There she found the blade... it was a katana of unrivalled quality, one the screamed for blood. Now armed, Diana fought her attackers- but facing off against kenjutsu masters proved to be futile at first... until Diana realized she could keep going no matter her wounds, so long as she didn't lose her limbs. Her attackers would not survive the confrontation. Diana escaped, and was on the plane home the next day before they could react. The Path of Darkness Diana came home, but kept the sword a secret... She came home to her father's face plastered all over the news- Jacob had gotten mixed up with the U.S. embassy in their country, exposed for illegal activities, and somehow killed in a "vehicular accident." Like anything concerning America, The case was highly publicized but also highly controversial. Her mother, Monica, settled for the justice of a quarter of a million dollars, a U.S. Visa, and the 'help' of a long time American friend whom she turned out to be dating. Diana was completely and utterly shocked. She could not believe her mother. At first she thought there was something about the murder- maybe it was a set up- but all evidence pointed his father was actually involved in covert human trafficking, and the investigation involved local and american authorities. It was then she understood that there was darkness in all hearts. Diana fled the country and wandered, the sword her only companion. She became a dreaded mercenary, her training starting anew. (2016): The smile of Amaterasu After the tragic events of New York, where Diana at once lost both cursed sword and dearest mother, fate would conspire to keep a weapon in Diana's hands. Where evil lost a servant, Good would interpret it as having gained a champion. A mysterious, unassuming delivery would bring a reverse edged sword to Diana's possession... and with it, another being who would lend Diana aid. This one claiming to be benevolent Amaterasu- and offering... redemption? salvation? magical weapons? let's go with that. (2016): The Ronin Rejecting the whims of all fickle supernatural masters, Diana takes on the mantle of Ronin- lordless samurai (Refer to advancements) as she seeks to walk her own path. She uses her knowledge of the mystic arts and of the forge, to create a weapon that will serve her and her alone. |
The Powers |
Grid Superhuman Fighting Skill, Major in Swordsmanship: Diana is a martial arts prodigy trained from when she could think in the fighting arts by a incorporeal spirit. She demonstrates the most uncanny reflexes; reading body language effortlessly, capable of predicting, dodging and even parrying gunfire, and possesses immense fighting experience and knowledge, the heritage of a thousand years of human warrior culture. She is steeped in Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Southeast Asian martial arts. Highly skilled with weapons and unarmed combat, She truly comes into her own when wielding a Katana or its equivalent. Ki Senses: When allowed to concentrate and channel her ki, Diana has the ability to heighten one of her senses to a supernatural degree- normally her hearing to compensate for the sudden loss of her other senses. WEAKNESSES: LIGHTWEIGHT: For all of Diana's skill and conditioning, her low body mass means she requires her weapon to inflict damage to anything above human durability. She is also easy to knock down and toss about, and will struggle with activities that require sheer physical strength. SENSORY OVERLOAD: Diana must take care not to expose herself to strong stimuli when focusing a sense, else she is stunned by the over stimulation. DYSLEXIC: With most of her brain power used to read body language, boost her senses and give her enhanced kinesthetic control, Diana suffers from severe Dyslexia- she is functionally illiterate. She can still recognize numbers though. BLOOD KNIGHT: Diana likes to fight and resorts to fighting where diplomacy might be more prudent. She might be given a specific task, but as long as she can get away with it, she will pick a fight. ROLE PLAY MECHANICS: Peak Human Conditioning: Diana's training has pushed her body to peak physical development and athleticism, above human but not superhuman. She has unparalleled strength, endurance and agility to rival specialist Olympians (of her weight) and then some. Supernatural Knowledge: The demon Corvus has instilled in Diana all the dark, terrible secrets of the universe it knows. Her knowledge of the supernatural is vast. After departing from her, Diana retains this knowledge and puts it to good use to identify and deal with the occult. ITEMS: The Black Sword - A weapon forged from the heavenly sword and the blood sword. Refer to Advancements. The Cyber Ninja Armor - A high tech suit, to supplement Diana with ninja-esque abilities. Refer to Advancements. Diana's Advancements |

GENERAL APPEARANCE:
The Legacy
Personality:
Diana's personality at the present is one that is extremely reserved, private and quiet. She has come to believe there is darkness in all men's hearts, motivated by selfishness. Despairing, she embraces her own darker impulses, seeing as there was no more point in trying to be better. She works for money and spends it lavishly, living with no greater goal than to enjoy herself. At times she will be moved by some injustice, but ultimately, the apathy secretly bred by the spirit of her blade takes hold.

The Powers
Grid
Supernatural Warrior Training: The demon Corvus capitalized on Diana's natural athleticism, ballet and gymnastic background, and drive to excel. Corvus subjects her to near a continuous mental and physical training regimen, far beyond her training as a normal athlete, depositing skill and experience within her mind via dreams and waking moments. What would take master warriors lifetimes of training and practice, Diana has been instilled with through painful subconscious reprogramming and hypnosis. As a result, she has suffered as much injuries training as actual fighting, her weapon cruelly regenerating her wounds and stamina that she may continue training unabated.
In addition to her skill at Eskrima, She is a master of fencing and a variety melee weaponry, throwing skills and even in unarmed combat. Her skill with edged weapons is honed to the point that she could cut a rain drop in half as it fell behind her.
Peak Human Conditioning: Diana's training has pushed her body to peak physical development and athleticism, above human but not superhuman. She has unparalleled strength, endurance and agility to rival specialist Olympians and then some.
Supernatural Knowledge: The demon Corvus has instilled in Diana all the dark, terrible secrets of the universe it knows. Her knowledge of the supernatural is vast, though Corvus knows even more.
Predatory Senses : Diana's normal senses are now heightened, and is capable of tracking by scent, as well as fight blind.
WEAKNESSES:
LIGHTWEIGHT: For all of Diana's skill and conditioning, her low body mass means she requires her weapon to inflict damage to anything above human durability. She is also easy to knock down and toss about, and will struggle with activities that require sheer physical strength.
INSANITY: Being the chosen vessel of a murderous demon weapon, Diana's mind has become completely muddled with evil. She constantly hears voices, and is extremely paranoid to the extent even trustworthy allies are suspected of eventual betrayal. She cannot even see that her mother isn't as bad as she's been made to believe.
BLOOD THIRST: Diana must kill to sate her blood thirst, and drinks only from foes able to put up a fight. She also strikes to kill, being compelled to execute any defeated enemies in her vicinity. The longer she goes without blood, the more likely she is to go into a berserk state.
LIGHT BLINDNESS: Diana is sensitive to bright light, and suffers a mild headache to severe migraines in brightly lit areas. She is also vulnerable to disorientation when facing sudden flashes of light.
HOLY SYMBOLS AND WATER: A holy symbol presented by an individual of strong faith can hold Diana at bay, causing her to feel disoriented.
SILVER WEAPONS: Silver burns Diana on contact, and seeing silver jewelry has an effect similar to light blindness. Silver weapons or bullets cannot be regenerated from.
WOODEN WEAPONS: Diana treats cuts from wooden weapons the same as Silver weapons.
NO REFLECTION: Diana has no reflection in mirrors and does not show up in traditional photos. Even in digital cameras her form is blurred.
ITEMS:
Item Name: The Blood Sword
Item Description: The Blood Sword is the tool of the Death Lord’s Harvest, a weapon of darkest evil and blackest shadow. It has taken many forms through the ages, though in Diana’s hands it becomes a katana, the dominant sword figure in pop culture. An unnatural power suffuses its jet black steel, allowing it to cleave through enemies with frightful ease and harvest their blood. It spurns the unliving with equal disdain and will carve through constructs and undead with similar fury. Vampires in particular are familiar with the Blood Sword, and will more likely interact with the wielder than eat them.
Item Power(s): The Blood Sword revels in pain and bloodshed, and sustains its wielder for eternal battle. So long as the wielder swears to shed blood, the sword will regenerate them from even the most grievous of injuries.
Item Weakness(es): The Blood Sword has no time or patience for enemies without the sweet crimson life blood it craves, and as such will not regenerate the wielder when fighting such enemies. It only begins regenerating when combat has been joined, and cannot be relied upon to heal Diana when there are no enemies to fight. Finally the sword embodies the evil of the demon within, corrupting its user and transforming them into a creature of the night.
Item/Character Advancement Price: Some?
