The Feast of Famine

Thanksgiving is a long practiced tradition, celebrating the harvest and thanksgiving for blessings in life. Some people though, have less in life, and it's up to the people at the Food For Life soup kitchen to provide for the less fortunate, especially during the busy holidays. Hands are always short and volunteers always welcome, and everyone is united in the spirit of kindness to feed the homeless and needy.

Not all is as it seems though, and a shadow looms over this event. An affliction comes over the people at the feasting tables, insatiable hunger gripping the undermined members of society. The neighborhood breaks out into panic, and surely enough, the peaceful city block becomes the site of an incident; police quarantine the area, as officers and volunteers attempt to make sense of what is happening.

Heroes of course, do their heroing and want to resolve the situation.

Villains may want to find out what is the cause of the affliction, perhaps even harness this evil for their own ends.

Renegades... eh, who cares about Renegades.
