The Legacy

Personality: Once a friendly, out going young man Cody has now devolved into a loner with depression. He keeps to himself not because he wants to but because he needs to. His super power to him is a curse, and what small fraction of moral code he has left is slowly slipping away.

History: Cody grew up in a middle class neighborhood in North Carolina. His parents were hard working people; his dad a law officer and his mom a teacher. He had a normal childhood growing up, plenty of loves and hugs and great friends. His dad was a former Marine before getting out and joining the police force and his mom was also previously in the military as an Air Force officer. Military service was ingrained into him from the get-go and it came as to no surpise he joined the Army straight out of High School. He served in the US Army Infantry, 82nd Air Borne for five years where he distinguished himself as a excellent marksman and great leader. He served two tours to duty in war zones and was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant before his contract ended. Instead of re-enlisting, Cody took his honorable discharge and came home. A year later he was a rookie at the Kannapolis Fire Department and continued to enjoy his time there and saving lives for the next 6 years. Sadly, though, all good things must come to an end. One night his crew were sent to put out a fire deep in the woods. It wasn't an ordinary fire. When they arrived there they realized it was a airplane crash site. However, the plane was not that of an earthly one.

While his co-horts fled to get more help, Cody's curiosity got the best of him and he waded toward the craft until he could reach out and touch it. He felt sick all of a sudden and passed out. He awoke 12 days later in a hospital room and was surrounded by family and friends. He had almost died several times. He reached out to his mom to hold her hand but once they touched and embraced she fell sick and almost died. The same thing happened with his dad and his co-worker. It quickly clicked with Cody that something awful had happened to him. Freaked out by this, Cody waited for the right time and busted out of the hospital and has laid low ever since.

Power 1: Poison Transfer: If he touches someone with any part of his body on any part of their body they become violently ill, often times to the point of near death. None of it is permanent, though at times it will last long.

The two powers will require separate points in ability be placed into them.
