Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

The Legacy |
Personality: Dominion is a cold, ruthless, calculating menace to society. He believes that he, and he alone, has the right to be celebrated by the masses. His skewed perspective is based on a high degree of self importance. However, the man is determined, willful, and will not rest until his goals are met. He is indisputably a genius, and feels a certain level of entitlement. But if there is one thing that is certain, it is that one statement sums up his perspective. He's better than you, he knows he's better than you, and soon you will know he's better than you. He is not racist, sexist, or prejudiced in any regard. He is Dominion. He's better than you BECAUSE he's Dominion. Dominion IS. He needs help from no one and prefers to leave physical tasks to lesser individuals, though he won't shy from conflict if he can't help it. He is always plotting, always working at an angle, and always prefers to remain two steps ahead. You are beneath him. Oh, but if you come to him, he'll gladly help. Not because he intends to extort some favor from you in the future. What could he need from you? Not out of the goodness of his heart. You're nothing to him. No, it is because in that moment, more than anything, you will know that you had to come to him for help. You couldn't do what he could and that proves that he is the better. Dominion is obsessed with aliens, not because their technology eludes him. He is perfectly capable of figuring it out. But he enjoys culture, and has seen virtually everything that Earth has to offer. As a result, he fails to find much about Earth cultures to be interesting anymore. He derives little joy from anything we have here, but is intrigued by the new cultures of aliens that frequently pop up. History: Once upon a time, Dominic was one of the most revered souls on the planet. He was a charitable workaholic who poured his vast wealth and intellect into the benefit of mankind. He founded Bradshaw International and Project Unity, an organization dedicated to pouring scientific advancement into the betterment of society with technological breakthroughs that would redefine life as it was. He'd won many a humanitarian award and given many speeches and lectures about his goals and what others could do to help advance them. He was on top of the world. However, one night a fateful accident changed all of that. Dominic was badly injured and exposed to the gas from an experimental chemical. This ultimately affected his mind, slowly resulting in mental instability. Soon he began to notice people as they mocked what he did and seemed to find amusement in berating the public services that he'd dedicated his entire life to. This modern aged cynicism drove him, in his current mental state, over the edge. Dominic began to apply his intellect and wealth toward new projects, masking them behind the activities of Project Unity and Bradshaw International. He began to develop whole new technologies, specifically for himself. This ultimately became a vast arsenal of high tech weapons and gadgets. He designed an alter ego for himself, referred to as Dominion. If people wouldn't naturally appreciate what he'd done for this world, then he'd force them to show some appreciation, becoming one of the most dangerous men alive. While it is common knowledge that Dominion and Dominic are one in the same, he remains untouchable due to a number of legal and political loopholes. While unlikely that he'll ever spend more than a few days in any prison or correctional facility, those with no jurisdiction do have the advantage of being able to hand out their own unique brand of justice to him. Sadly, it is difficult not to feel sympathetic. He was once a great man and many wish for him to beat this plague and become one again. Dominic has been a genius since he was a boy. But that isn't all. He's always been a seeker, by nature, and competitive. This led him to go on many a quest, including one of physical perfection. He has, as a result, become very physically apt, with remarkable degrees of strength, speed, and martial prowess. While many of Dominions actions are technically criminal, many others are not. Some of his actions are notably legal and are simply morally or ethically ambiguous. What's interesting, however, is that Bradshaw International and Project Unity remain active and continue in their more noble goals, despite the heel turn of their founder. Dominion Suit is not power armor. The suit, itself, does nothing, although the boots allow him to fly. The suit essentially acts as a place to hold his arsenal of tricks. It does not enhance his strength or durability. Items will be listed in their own thread. Dominic owns a city-sized island in the Pacific. It is here that his loyal followers live within a rather prosperous micro-civilization. Surprisingly, he does not rule over them with the same iron fist that he enforces over the rest of the world, probably because they have flocked to him by choice. Because he is their chosen leader, and is politically acknowledged, he maintains diplomatic immunity as well. His base, Castle Dominous, stands at the back of this city and maintains his legions as well as its highly elaborate security system and technologies vault, where Dominion keeps his suit and various gadgets when he isn't wearing them. |
The Powers |
Power 1: Intellect While not a superpower, Dominic's intelligence is almost unheard of. He is one of the most intelligent people alive and his accomplishments speak volumes for that. He can even figure out advanced technologies from the future or alien culture in a matter of hours. It is possible that the chemicals that drove him insane increased his mental abilities but he was always a genius so it is difficult to tell for sure. Power 2: Dominion Suit Also not a power, the Dominion Suit boasts rocket boots that allow him to fly. It also holds whatever objects from the arsenal that Dominion decides to use in the field at the time. Power 3: Power 4: Grid Intelligence: 8 Occult:-- Strength: 4 Speed: 4 Durability: 4 Ability: 0 Fighting Skills: 4 Magic:-- Spells:-- Flight: 2 Wealth: 5 30 Points Total |
