The first step (Closed to Zell)
"I have found that the hardest question to answer...is "Why?" When someone selflessly helps you, you silently wonder 'why?', when someone wrongs you terribly, you ask them 'why?', when you know the true meaning of sorrow you ask yourself 'why?'." Dominion began, the camera trained on his shadowed face. The fog of his ring, Smoke, had been fogging out his face from the average man. His voice was like that of a teenager, but there was a heavy sense of wisdom that seemed to slip through his callous heart. Every time Dominion said the word why he did so in a sorrowful tone, or a serious inquisitive one, until he reached the lat one, when he was dead serious, and almost threatening.” When you are forced to make a decision of soul shattering proportions...you will cry out 'Why?'."
"Too many people are caught in a trap. The trap which is known only as 'The Human Condition'. You search endlessly for the meaning of life, for gratification in what you are. You are curious, and are driven to find answers. You also refuse to accept the inevitability of isolation, and desperately try to find another to cling onto, in attempt to escape the fate. But finally, and most importantly...you are aware that your time is running out." He took little breaks as he looked into the camera, his sea foam glowing eyes pacifying anyone who would look into them, unless they were of a strong will power. He managed to stress the gravity of time running out. This speech would speak deeply to any man, but to one man it would speak to his very soul. This man was the one Dominion was told to go after.
"Rejoice, for there is a solution. I have decided to enlighten all of you to the Truth.” Dominion said with a glimmer of hope hidden in his dark depressing tone. “A 'Friend' of mine has shown me an individual, a worthy human who shall be the exemplar for all of you. The Jesus Christ of the modern man. He shall be tried, and he shall be broken. It is only when he has been broken that he will too see the Truth. When this man sees Truth, then so shall you all." He explained. The truth behind it was that the only truth they would see is that the worlds needed to function in unity, under one rule, and if what the notorious Elena Marie has said to him was true, then this man he was after, was the beginning of the establishment of his Dominion.
"You will know if you have been elected to such a position of honor, because you will be the only one who can learn from this. The first step to your ascendancy begins in one week’s time. I will be waiting."

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
Zell Atterrius was once more diligently working to keep the well oiled machine that was Gene-tech alive and well. For Zell, Gene-Tech was not simply a company, it was the future of humanity, it was the key that unlocked the treasure trove of infinite possibilities. Gene-Tech had the resources to alter any human, and make them able to do things that even ten years ago was considered impossible. This was the result of Zell’s toiling labor, and constant vigilance. Because of Zell’s late hours and unwavering dedication, Gene-Tech was a one hundred percent efficient machine of genetic progress. Although there were times when such ‘insecurities’ threatened the company, Zell would quickly deal with them personally. To endanger his company, was to insult him and his intelligence.
Just earlier today, a mole was uncovered within the Gene-Tech organization. The mole entered the bathroom and never came back out. This mole was one Mr. Tucker Turner, the newest addition to the data entry branch of employment. This mole decided it was a good idea to look into Zell’s private research. Normally Zell wouldn’t have minded prying eyes, but in this particular event, the eyes found their way into something that no man was meant to see. A special gene Zell had developed, and was awaiting test results. The gene was one unlike any other, it allowed people something they always wanted, what they always craved. It gave the people the chance to CHOOSE. What if you wanted blue eyes this morning? Imagine only having to want it, and your mind would make your body obey. What if one morning you decided you wanted a clean slate? This was the glorious gene Zell was personally constructing, however it was the thing Zell didn’t want the notorious Mr. Turner to see.
This gene, the one Mr. Tucker saw, was of a much darker nature. Imagine a world ruled by meta humans. Imagine them killing off humans and attempting to facilitate a sick and twisted form of evolution. Now imagine them being reverted back into normal humans, and being gunned down. Imagine a gene, that mutated the meta gene into a stagnant, place filler. Zell was on the verge of a breakthrough, this gene had one purpose though. It was meant for Zell to better understand how to make a gene that allowed this to happen. Zell had no intent on using this gene, and no intent on anyone else learning that he had the ability to synthesize a gene such as this. Zell made this, not for other meta humans, but to act as a template to revert his genes back to the human norm. This was his chance to stop the very process that plagues his mind for as long as he cared to now remember. He couldn’t let anyone get their hands on this. No government had the technology, the greatest minds in the world could assemble and Zell had a failsafe for each and every circumstance.
”Zell’s Gene-sis” He said as he looked into the room. A beast was suspended in a large contraption, one built to confine even some of the strongest meta humans. This creature had black leathery skin, scales adorning certain parts of it’s bare body. There were fangs as it let down a low growl, which had an almost supernatural reverb and a sickly treble in its tone. It had five vicious claws on each hand and foot, and a tail that was as long as it’s body, and flexible enough to bend like a straw at a total one eighty. The tail itself was covered in flexible but highly durable material, material that was akin to that of bone, but only as dense as blood. It made no sense, it defied all logic. The creature was a humanoid, it had glowing green eyes, ones that pierced the soul. This creature…was him. It was a clone more specifically. Genetically grown, and then forced to accept the Ethereal energy in the body. It was horrific. The thing purred as Zell looked at it, almost as if it sensed they were one and the same, but the second anyone else got remotely close, the scales rose, and spines made of the same material as the tail were exposed.
”Administer Zell’s Gene-sis.” Zell ordered. In a second a scientist, with great hesitation approached the creature. The creature eyed the man, black lids narrowing, obviously focusing in on the scientist. This was the arrangement. If Mr. Turner injected the creature with the Zell’s Gene-sis gene…then he was free to go. If not, Zell would have him stalked for the rest of his days by members of S.T.A.R.K. Turner accepted, and now he was giving the injection. The creature roared, the needle bent as it reached the flesh of the creature. Zell nodded at the other scientist, who retrieved a more durable needle, which also failed. By time they received a needle durable enough to pierce the skin, it was a needle made out of solidified Thorgron-blood.
The injection was made and the creature groaned, its eyes became heavy, and it began to turn into a more humanoid form. Its tail dissipated, and its black skin turned to a nice tan, his hair was a dark black, but he looked like exactly as a clone should, like a twin. The clone was now small enough to slip through the restraints, and it dropped to the ground. The reformed clone began crawling, trying to get away, as weak and pathetic as it looked. Zell immediately hated this clone, and he knew why. The same way that the beast looked at Zell with a sense of familiarity, Zell’s inner beast was looking at this clone with distain for being so pathetic and weak. He just wanted to drive his teeth into his own damn throat! Zell’s jaw trembled, as he tried to logically rationalize himself. The clone stopped moving and began to moan, as if it were hurt. Mr. Turner walked over to the window Zell was at.
”Look at this! Mr.Atterrius you’re gong to be a hero! You can turn meta humans back into people again!” He exclaimed. Zell was still shocked at his internal feelings towards his clone. Suddenly Zell found himself grinning as the clone tried to stand. His arms grew in length, his tail began to form from blood trickling down his back, the scales and skin returned to their leathery and durable state. The creature grew in muscle mass, and the fangs returned, as well as the claws. The torso was a dusky color, lighter than the rest of the body. The creature made no noise as it walked, it’s breathing was unable to be heard, and it basically kept itself hidden from any sensory6 beyond sight. The creature sized up Mr. Turner and squatted down. It jumped up to the ceiling, twisting one hundred and eighty degrees. So it could remain on the ceiling it was able to keep itself latched to the ceiling, leaving no trace. It skittered across the ceiling, silently, and Mr. Turner turned around. He turned back to Zell with a look of question. ”Hey, where’d the kid go?” he asked. Zell noticed out of his peripheral vision the beast brought its tail back and impaled the light, the electricity not able to harm it due to the material the tail was composed of. ”Jesus!” The man yelped, but by time he could look to the light, the creature had moved. Suddenly, it took out yet another light.
”It knows that darkness is its ally…”Zell mused to himself. The creature showed the functioning mind of an easily confused human. But what it lacked in brain, it made up for in skills and brawn. It impressed Zell that the creature seemed to instinctively know that the light was its enemy. It knew that it could hide itself form every other sense than light. The third and final light went out. The only thing that could be seen now were the shades of grey, cast by the lights of the room Zell was in, projecting through the window. Mr. Turner began to pound on the window, begging for his life and to be released. For someone to let him out of the room. Zell went to open the high tech door, but jumped back in fear when the window cracked. The tail had passed Mr. Turner’s throat, and the tail managed to penetrate the incredibly durable glass. The creature cooed and purred as the tail wrapped around Mr. Turners throat, playfully constricting and letting do. The creature then let out a small screech before sweeping the tail under Mr. Turner’s legs and wrapped around his ankle. Turner kept clawing at the ground, trying to get away, just like the typical horror film victim. The creature pulled him back, then let him crawl to the window, then pulled him back, then let him crawl to the window.
”It plays with prey…” Zell said to himself, feeling an odd mixture of sadness and excitement. Turner finally made it to the window and held on. The creature wasn’t able to be seen, other than the excessively long tail sticking out of the darkness. The creature lifted its tail, and twisted it, flipping Turner on his back, and dragging him in slowly, which in its own way was sick and sadistic. There was screams and the standard ‘God no!’ and begging for mercy. The screams continued, and continued. Sorrow, fear and agony all chorused together in perfect harmony as the man known as Tucker Turner sobbed and begged to die, but still the cries would continue. No Scientist dared to shine a flash-light in the room, or look at all.
A half hour…thirty minutes, one hundred, eight thousand seconds. The screams finally stopped. Zell put his face up to the window, only to be startled by a loud ‘splat’. The creature had thrown a human heart across the window and splattered it, almost as if throwing it at Zell. Repulsed, Zell ordered that room be gassed to knock the creature out. The gas was effective, and finally the creature was detained. Zell looked at the room, his eyes glowing faintly, indicating that his vision was a bit better than most peoples. The sight was atrocious.
X(Extreme Gore: you have been warned )
- Spoiler:
This was appalling. There were scraps of human flesh on the ground, identical to the ones found in the teeth of the creature. The intestinal tract was strung out with a bite mark out of the stomach, the inside of it licked clean of all acid and contents. The corpse itself was strung up with the remainder of the intestines, and fortified by a make-shift rope of braided sinew. The corpse itself had no real facial features left, the skin had been slowly peeled off and eaten, and the jaw was unhinged on the one side, only kept in place by the little remaining muscles. The upside down corpse had been mutilated in almost every torturous way Zell could imagine. The creature turned pieces of the man’s body into torture tools. This was the most sickening display ever. The smell of death was already in the room, causing many of the weak-stomached scientists outside to vomit. The man had been dissected. Almost like a lab experiment, as if the creature was trying to get a better look at the anatomy. Each organ was removed, and the body was licked clean, the spine and the ribs were still bloodied with decent chunks of meat attacked, as stringy and tough as could be. Zell looked to the ground, noticing cruse drawings in blood. The one Zell could have sworn looked like the A.V.A.T.A.R on his arm. He snapped a picture of it with his phone, and left, returning to his suite. The creature tortured human...dissected them…then licked them clean form the inside up and hung them up like trophies….and Zell was becoming that.
He made it back to the suite, looking to Lourishna. His feathered friend could always tell when something was wrong with him. The three foot tall raven flew over and began walking next to the five foot four human. Zell passed Thorgron in the kitchen, ignoring him mostly, until he got to his room and changed into more comfortable clothing. Zell sat on his bed and buried his face into his hands. She ripped his tie off and tossed it aside, unbuttoning his clean white shirt and laying back on his bed. The bird flew up onto Zell’s stomach and looked down at him.
”Raah, what wrong?” Lourishna asked him. Zell smirked and chuckled at the lovably little bird.
”Rough day in the office.” Zell replied wearily. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and Zell looked up. It was Niall in the mobile platform.
”Zell Ye gotta see this, now!” He said, the concern in his Irish voice shook Zell deeply. He walked out, Thorgron and Niall were already looking at the television, the members of the S.T.A.R.K corps were there as well.
This mad man came on, talking on and on about ‘Why’ and rejoicing because of some new Jesus Christ. This was sheer madness, and how did he get on Zell’s television. Apparently it was on the news coverage, because the video was originally placed on youtube or something like that, or was it sent to the people to play? Zell didn’t particularly care at the moment, he was too shaken about earlier today. Zell’s heart sank. Searching for the meaning of life…the trying to gratify ones self for what they are…trying to hold onto someone else so they would never have to be alone…and knowing that time was running out. All of these were supposed to be familiar to Zell, but something made it feel directed at him almost. He felt compelled to listen. Zell heard about the word ascension, and he knew already that all was over. This person was talking directly to him. The first step to his ascension was what Kurt Summers had called stabbing him in the neck. Now this guy uses similar terminology and basically calls him out.
It was over, the man vanished from the television and the news reports began debating back and forth. Zell sat there, his elbow resting in his fist, and his hand to his mouth, his index finger over the upper lip. Zell suddenly noticed everyone in the room looking at him. Zell’s heart beat quickened and he took a breath in and looked back at them.
”What?”

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
The plan was in motion, a week’s time had passed, and now Dominion was ready to proceed. The target would be someone who could potentially be of help to the Gene-Tech C.E.O Zell Atterrius. The most prominent target would be the Canadian politician, Johnny Sheer. Johnny Sheer is a silver tongued fellow who would be a gateway for Zell to place his influence in politics, a very scary thought.
Things couldn’t have gone better. Johnny Sheer gave his speech, continued on his political drive, until he reached the airport. While at the airport he boarded a plane, and the plane flew off, but never reached its desired destination. It mysteriously vanished. Dominion smiled as the politician was tied to the chair, and he began to allow smoke to fill the room. This was the first step. How would Mr.Atterrius react? What would he do to save this man’s life? How smart is he really?
”Mr.Atterrius, this if the first step to your ascendancy. The only thing you need to know is you have three hours to save Mr. Jonathan Sheer. We are in Excalibur City…and you will fail.”

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
Zell watched as the message played to his personal television. Whomever this was, was hell-bent on forcing Zell into action. Zell's intelligence bid him that this person obviously knew something about him that others did not; however it didn't make any sense. Why not simply ruin Zell by exposing he was the ancestor Dragon....unless they didn't know. Maybe this was just another random attempt to bring down the company that ruined someone’s life. Maybe this was another experiment....like Zell and Thorgron. Zell noticed that Johnny Sheer was tied down and unable to help himself. Johnny Sheer had begun associate of Zell's actually something of a protégé, despite being older than Zell. Johnny was brilliant enough; in fact Zell would swear up and down that he may have been super-human in the sense of his sheer intellect. Zell could recall the several nights he would spend with the other scientist just debating philosophy and contemplating the matters of the world.
Zell pulled himself from the blissful remembrance of the past. The good old days. The days of innocent youth, and the days when he had more time. But nothing could change that now, he needed to make sure that Johnny Sheer remained alive to tell the tale, and tell him who it was. Zell walked into his bedroom and pressed the upper left portion of the frame of his favorite portrait, revealing the high-tech, and fully repaired, laboratory of Zell Atterrius. This lab was also the lair of the Ancestor Dragon, and the housing area for the exo suits. Zell snapped his fingers and several assistant bots ran around and collected the necessary tools for the job. Niall in his mobile platform walked in, looking the same as he always did, a mischievous little grin on his face.
”What’s the orders boss?” He asked through the regular Irish accent. Zell smiled and gave him a playful punch on the arm.
”I’ve got work. You and Thorgron go have fun.” Zell said with a high spirit. Zell took off his shirt and walked over to the Ancestor Dragon exo suit, donning it. The arms had durable, but thin slates of metal that slid down and covered his arms like a second skin. The torso closed and sealed itself, while the horns came down and the mouth snapped shut. The nanites began to weave together and fuse, to become sheets of metal. The eyes lit up a bright fierce red, and there was a growl like that of a Dragon, an effect Zell rather enjoyed.
”I’ll save ya a seat. Unless I meet someone I’m into.” Niall said half teasingly as he waved. The suit integrity and status display appeared, and Zell began to walk for the secret exit. As he walked the assistant bots were all in lines, each one approaching one by one and attaching a new device. It looked like Zell were a king walking down a line of servants who were dressing him for war. He reached the exit and took off like a bat out of Hell.
First he needed to triangulate a location. He started by analyzing the background and putting it against the archived architecture blueprints in the Excalibur City records. At the same time he began soaring everywhere, using his A.V.A.T.A.R to scan and find meta-human’s biosignature, as well as Johnny Sheer’s signature specified as human targets. It was only a matter of time.

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
Dominion leaned back and watched as his captive wiggled and tried to worm his way out of the ropes that bound him to the chair. It was amusing to see a person struggle in attempt to reach freedom. But freedom would be his, and it was freedom would not cost him a thing. It would, however cost Zell Atterrius greatly. Dominion looked to the clock and noticed that he was only five minutes from his exit. He stood up and walked off, going towards his means of escape. While on his way he passed a lot of guys he had come to view as expendables. Each one of these guys was hauling and transporting a wooden crate that said GeneTech on it.
Dominion was rather grateful to be a part of a group such as this. They had the same goal as him and with their information her could do things that would be impossible without their help. Dominion had planned on filling the building with crates and metallic containers that said GeneTech, all of them filled with harmful stuff that caused cancer and other mutations. Dominion planned on blowing the place, and everything in Excalibur city would be exposed to these cancerous materials. The trick being that Zell Atterrius would need to decide which was more important; the life of one or the lives of many. Dominion reached the car and sat inside it. He looked out to the man who was holding the door open for him and glared at him.
“Go make sure everything is ready for our guest.” Dominion said with authority. The man obeyed and closed the door and left to make sure everything was ready. Dominion leaned back against his seat as the whispers of muttered spirits began to whisp around him. He did not need to look to know that his enslaved trophy was nearby, in the seat next to him in fact. He didn’t even bat an eye when he gave her his command. “Blow it.”
The whispers left and the car pulled out from the facility. They had not been on the road for more than five minutes when Dominion looked to the sky to see the only person he was warned would be able to complicate things. He smiled and scoffed, unimpressed.

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
Zell had been unable to triangulate an area that had a similar set up. Something was prohibiting him from being able to make a perfect match. There were several SIMILAR areas; however that pretentious prick had that fog to make everything all screwy. Zell continued on his path towards the first location he believed there to be the source. It was down in the lower income areas, the place where crime was most common. He landed where there were several cars and a ton of suspicious looking gentlemen in black turtlenecks like they belonged in a James bond movie. Zell landed his exo suit, onto his knee and he stood up. Several of the men in black knew who he was, and immediately greeted him with a joyous cry and the pattering of SMG bullets and the occasional shotgun. Zell walked, past them, sending out small protonic blasts at the humans, hoping it would only rattle them rather than kill them. However at this rate they were terrorists and death to terrorists wasn’t exactly on his list of regrets.
One blast, two blasts, three blasts, four blasts. He took out every pathetic little human that thought they could stand against him. Zell had no mercy in his heart to share upon the filth who threatened his old friend, and even less for those who would condone the killing of innocents. Zell walked up the stairs, making it more than half way in the exo suit when a man started coming in with some high tech gauntlet, throwing a right hook. Zell ducked under the swing, while grabbing the man’s ankle, standing up to flip him over the metallic rails and send him down two stories to his fate. Two more came up, the first with a roundhouse kick with a tech-boot and the other with the fast and firm stomach jab with a gauntlet identical to the man Zell had just thrown over. Zell felt the impact of the high tech gauntlet and it sent a minor shockwave into his stomach, forcing the suit to bend while the other man’s large boot of similar design met his face. Zell cursed himself for lacking the proper reflexes to do what his mind commanded. It was practically unbearable. To be able to see something coming, it being so obvious and easily countered…but lacking the means to do it. It was the epitome of helplessness. Like allowing God to see, but robbing him of his ability to act. He staggered back and the man with the gauntlet sprung on him like a cheetah on a gazelle. Zell landed on his back, sliding down some of the stairs before feeling his helmet begin to rattle relentlessly as the man assaulted his helmet with a flurry of punches. Each punch produced a small rippling blue energy. He finally managed to free an arm and used the protonic blaster, medium charge on the man’s arm, taking it clean off. With the sinew and the gore Zell easily managed to break free, stand up and throw him out a window. Turning to the next man, Zell started walking. Another damn kick. The good part about that ‘god-like’ thought speed and perception was that no trick worked twice. Zell preemptively brought up his hand and caught the boot, crushing it, and the foot of his enemy in hand. Zell jabbed the man in the groin, probably crushing anything of importance, before sending the man out the same way he sent his friend.
Zell opened the door and was now on the top floor of the building. He was in a sterile white hallway, a perfect cleanliness to it, and a shining spotless white tile floor. He walked down slowly and gingerly. He was not letting any detail slip past him. He made it down half way before he saw one of the most high-tech doors he’d ever seen in a ‘civilian’ structure. He growled to himself, activating his A.V.A.T.A.R to hack it. HE reached the door and held up his A.V.A.T.A.R and a flood of data and encrypt messaging and computer coding appeared in his field of vision. He watched as countless letters and numbers passed over at lightning speeds that could only be caught and comprehended by a true man, or woman, of intelligence. It was only a few seconds before Zell had hacked the door and it opened. He stepped in and saw a woman covering herself in sheets. Zell brought his arm over his exo-suits display, shielding his eyes for her privacy.
”Where is Sheer?” Zell snapped out loud. The clicking of footsteps could be heard, and so Zell instinctively took down his arm and looked in directin of the noise. He found a local crime boss, Vicente DeAngelo, buttoning his shirt.
”Ancestor Dragon. What a surprise, to have you here in my base of operations…although I assume you have a reason for being here? No don’t tell me. You’ve decided to come and kill Vicente, finally taking your place as a true vigilante, eh!?” He said with his potent Italian accent and laughter. He was acting as if it were the news that his daughter just married well. Zell stepped towards him and grabbed his collar.
”Do you have anything to do with the disappearance of Jonathan Sheer?” He snapped at the Italian ringleader. He simply shook his head.
”I am sorry to disappoint, but I have no need for Mister Sheer.” Vicente said. Zell couldn’t say Vicente was a good man, but Vicente had never told a lie outside a courtroom. Zell had less and less time.
”Alright. Don’t give me a reason to come back.” Zell warned him as he let Vicente go and stepped back, still eyeing him. He engaged the Exosuit boosters and took off, on route to the second point of interest. Hopfully this was the correct place. Sheer didn’t have much time. Leaving a hole in the roof as he left, Zell was on his way.
Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
The men had finished filling the room with the chemicals. There were twelve of them on premises while the rest retreated like Dominion had told them to. What the others didn’t know was that they were the selected few who were chosen to be sacrifices. Dominion was now on the highway to hell, or more specifically he was on his way to New Orleans. The rest of the time he trusted his summoned servant to ensure that everything went according to plan.
The men were set up specifically using the highest equipment they could get on the market. Their weapons would hopefully give the Dragon something to think about. Dominion smiled as he opened a laptop in the limo. There were several camera displays that were coming up. The one just outside the door where John Sheer was being kept with three armed men guarding it, the large opening with nine men and women there, and finally the room where the captured politician was under watch by a single guard, who was trained to shoot the man if the door opened, ever.
This was a war the Ancestor was sure to lose, and there was nothing that he could do about it. Dominion leaned back into the fine leather seating and crossed his arms behind his head with a smile.

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
Zell flew form the 'accidental' decoy building and went to the next one. Zell's A.V.A.T.A.R was working tripple time. There were eight humanoid figures of unknown affiliation in the large opening on the building. Zell wasted no time and propelled himslf right into the frey. He landed in the middle of the room. Three of the men were close. Zell dispatched of them, rather quickly. He jabed the one in the stomach, then pivoted, using his leverage to flip the man he punched onto another. He then punched down on the oth of them, and as the third man charged, Zell unleashed a protonic blast, sending the man to the opposite wall, likely killing him.
With his mastery of his own energy, he unsheathed Misanthropy and stuck it into the ground, then boosted away. With a boost up and Gravity working to his advantage, the dropped, giving a full forced Exo-suit gravity punch to the other two who were dumb enough to stand so close together. Zell stood up after having the crushed skulls of the morons bloodying his Dragon-claws. He stood up and noticed that he had been correct in his placement. The blsade of the Misanthropy was right where he nedded it to be. Firing a protonic blask at it would splice the energy in half and send them on trajectories that would hit two of the gunmen. he did jusdt that, with half a success. One of the men managed to dive out of the way. The other was destroyed, almost utterly vaporized.
Zell had his back turned, and suddenly he felt a shot that ripped off the shoulder of his armor. He turned back to see another of this imbiciles that thought they could take him down. This man had a rather impressive gun, great technology. Zell activated his Anti-Hero Aegis, shieldign him form any other atrempt by the gun. He charged the man, picking him up by the throat with the help of his Project:Empowerment addition to the A.V.A.T.A.R Zell went form beign ale to bench what a normal human could to what a peke human could, and the same with his running speed. With the man in hand he crushed his trachea. The bastard deserved it. This armor takes for fucking ever to fix when broken like this.
Zell slowly made his way to the next room, as hge went to openn the door he felt a little tap to the back of the head, He turned to see a single man left. Zell sighed. He held out his hand and Misanthropy came to Zell, Blade first, impaling the man on it as it came. The blade turned and Zell began to shake it by the hilt. He was attempting to shake the body off, but that was apparently not working. He finally just shot the corpse with a protonic blaster, lettign it drop off as he fially managed to turn around and advance intot he next room.

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
His men were shooting at nothing? Well this made no sense at all. Whatever was there wasn’t showing up on the cameras. It made it difficult for Dominion to actually look at the enemy and judge its weakness. It also might be an illusion for all he knew but he’d assume that since none of his expendables gunned each other down that there was something in the line of fire actually taking the shots. This turned out to be rather amusing for him.
A shine of energy randomly would form from nowhere and take one out, then an random flying sword. The way the sword attempted to shed the expendable was interesting. The way the body just flopped about and the violent shaking in attempts to get it off probably belonged in a comedy more than reality.
Then finally opened the door, and once more the men could obviously see something he could not. There was the two guards at the door and directly behind them, the guard that was to kill the politician once the door separating him from the two. The men fired their rpg attachments, sending the propelled grenades at the unknown thing. Two explosions followed by the advanced shotguns didn’t bode well for whatever was intending to stop then. Dominion placed a finger on his forehead. He didn’t think something so simply would turn out so hard.
"Well who." Dominion mumbled to himself as he watched the unknown react to the events. "Are you?"

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
The men fired at Zell, taking rather large chunks out of his exo suit. He looked like he was wearing cut up shirts and jeans styled armor now and his suit integrity was at 51%, almost the half way mark. This wasn't good. He decided that he needed to finish this. NOW. His A.V.A.T.A.R detected the three people left in the building, other than John Sheer. They were just in the line he needed. He charged up his chest beam. The plume would reach five feet in diameter, making it rather difficult for a human to dodge. The small symbol on Zell's chest was at its full charge, glowing green, filled with ethereal energy. Suddenly he let it rip. A large plume of pure ethereal energy was unleashed taking out the remaining three, even through the door that divided them all. Now all that was left was to take care of collecting John. Zell stepped into the room as Ancestor Dragon and took off the binding that kept his mouth shut.

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
The invisable thing was not only a total annoyance, but he was just a flat out pest. He was a cancer in the entire body of Dominion's plans. He never lost his calm mind though, while to did have to take a sharp inhale now and again, it was understandable. His plans were thwarted by something he couldn't see. The plan wasn't all for waste thankfully. There was one last trick up his sleeve, but for now he would just watch. She would know the perfect time to do what she did best.

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
Zell kicked the door, even without the hole in it, he would have easily removed it. He walked in, seeing the bleeding corpse. He looked to the left and to the right. There were Gene-Tech containers everywhere. The A.V.A.T.A.R identified them as hazardous components for gene synthesis. Not good to let out into open air. There would be detrimental consequences for years to come, and it couldn’t be allowed to happen. Zell used his A.V.A.T.A.R to signal S.T.A.R.K corps to come and deal with the issue. Zell then tended to John Sheer. He removed the cloth preventing him to speak.
”Thank God you’re here. I can’t thank you enough. I owe you so much.” He began. Zell shook his helmeted head.
”You don’t owe me anything. Do you remember who did this to you?” Zell asked him through the modifier. Hopefully there would be something this person could tell Zell.

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
The trap was sprung. Dominions slave had sprung it. Dominion watched from the screen, eager to see what was happening. The astral figure appeared in the middle of the room, and with he own astral power, she sent a power bolt at the invisible pain in the neck. The astral figure sent bolt after bolt, an endless barrage. From what Dominion could see he whatever was being such a pain was now on the defense.
Finally, Dominion had enough. He needed to ensure this went through. The one he was responsible to reporting back to was not going to be pleaed if he failed. OR she may have anticipated his failure. Or perhaps this was only to see what this Atterrus man was capible of. Regardlss, even if it was an anticipated failure, it would not be on account of a lack of effort. Dominion leaned back and watched as the astral figure began to glow from it's coree. At this very moment there was massive build up of energy, just begging to to be released. The servant was made of astral energy and could easily be put back together later. But John Sheer, there was only one of him. The cancer and destruction were only a means of fear. No matter what this unseen enemy was, it wasn't alive much longer.

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
"Jesus!" Zell snapped. He felt several peices of his armor clipping off. He was taking pretty heavy damage. He had no external armor left, at least none of significance. The being...the angelic being...it just stopped. It started glowing, a beautiful bright celestial light. It was beautiful, but Zell could tell already, whatever it was was deadly. His A.V.A.T.A.R detectd a rise in energy coming from the core. It was volitile energy, all worthy of a mass explosion. Zell had little time to react, there was nothing he could do. He was going to lose this. Even if he could save Sheer, it was far too late. This thing was going to blow, and with the explosion there were mutative chemicals. Hundreds would die.
There was a sudden shock of inspiration, an idea. The Exosuit, there was nothing to fear. Zell had an answer to his solution. He took a stepforward, but upon his command the exo suit was shed and it consumed the astral figure as if the figure were Zell. It then took off full thrust into the sky. The explosion was beautiful. Zell laughed, knowing nothing else to do under the stress. He let out a sigh of relief and tried to calm his racing heart. His heart would stop utterly when he heard-
"Zell? You're the Ancestor Dragon?"

Re: The first step (Closed to Zell)
Dominion showed no emotion. He simply sat and closed the laptops top. He sighed, disappointed in the failure of the day. There was still more to come. This was only the beginning. The beginning of the end.
