The Looks

Andrei is a cheerful looking guy, of slightly above average height. He keeps himself in shape, and has a wiry build. His black hair is usually left messy, and he rarely shaves. There are some small burns on his hands and forearms from projects gone awry. His wardrobe generally consists of casual clothes worn under his favourite bomber jacket.

The Legacy

Personality:
Andrei is a very straight forward, good natured guy. When he’s got a project that he’s interested in, he’ll focus all his attention on it, making excuses to get out of other work to do it. When working on something, he just goes at it, estimating his measurements, trying new things on a whim. This is aided by his uncanny ability to get just about any piece of machinery running.

History:
Andrei was born in Veliky Novgorod in 1992. His father was a mechanic, and growing up, Andrei lived amongst the machinery of his father’s trade. From an early age he showed an aptitude for machining, helping his father in the shop and even assembling his own contraptions. He moved away from home in his late teens, apprenticing under a gunsmith in the Ukraine for several years. His ability to make things work got the attention of a local crime fighting team, who he worked with for three years before a disagreement with one of the leading members caused him to pack up, and move on. He now lives in New Zealand, working as a general machinist and gunsmith.

Andrei is an absolute genius when it comes to coming up with new mechanisms and gadgets. Given a problem to solve, he can produce a device to solve it. This aptitude means he could rig up a gun given some plumbing equipment, or a high-voltage power source in a cave, with a box of scraps.
In fact, Andrei’s gift with machinery goes beyond a simple knack for them - he has some kind of latent effect on machines he is around, that makes them work better, and even in some cases work when they shouldn’t.
Strangely enough, Andrei is absolutely terrible with computers.
