A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
In a particular alley, there was an unusual site. There were gang members there rubbing their hands together greedily as they stood on the opposite side of the dark alleyway, while a man with long, pale red hair with a white streak running across one of his bangs stood on the opposite side of the alley, though he was very careful to avoid any lights that would reveal anything more of his appearance. It was dark outside, and the only thing that could be seen far off into the distance was the large burning building of a pharmaceutical company, as well as another building nearby it that turned out to be a hospital.
"So, boss, can we get out our payment now that we did the job you asked of us?" the lead gang member asked the man, causing the red-haired man's head turn towards them, and a demonic smirk slowly crawled onto the man's face. To be honest, the plan couldn't have gone off any better, as destroying the company in this city that makes medicine, as well as the busiest and most well used hospital in the city, it made people unhinged, panicked, and terrified. Good, it was exactly as he was hoping things would turn out. The best part, was that with the fires, everyone would be far too focused on putting them out than searching for whatever culprits there were.
Now, there was only one thing left to do, and that was to tie up any and all loose ends. So, in response to the gangster's question, the red-haired man with no-name spoke up to them. "Of course, you all have upheld your end of the bargain, and as such, I will gladly give you the best reward I can give you" he said to them in a rugged, deep, rather attractive voice. The gangsters smiled in anticipation and greed, barely able to conceal their excitement. Unfortunately for them, things were about to take a turn for the worst.
The red-haired man quickly summoned up a large amount of spider silk, and launched the large amount of spider silk at them with the intent of weaving silken, hardened cocoons that constricted around and covered them from head-to-toe, leaving them unable to move or even breathe. The gangsters fell to the floor, their cries muffled by the thick coating of hardened spider silk covering them. He then proceeded to toss them all into dumpsters located in the alley, and proceeded to take up the gangsters lighter fluid, and lighter as well. He then grabbed himself some rags and doused them in lighter fluid, then quickly lit them on fire.
He then proceeded to place them in the dumpsters until all of the gang members had flames near them, and he proceeded to lock the dumpsters with locks that had been laying to the side, in a large pack that the gangsters had stolen earlier. The fire would rage inside those dumpsters, and the gangsters would be burned alive. Due to the combination of the dumpsters, and the silken cocoons that kept them from moving, or even breathing, there would no one coming to their rescue. The unknown, red-haired man walked away chuckling at the display of carnage he had shown and proceeded to walk away, making sure to avoid the street light so they couldn't illuminate any of his features other than his hair. "Freedom from this miserable, chaotic world is a reward that is greater than anything financial, after all" he whispered to himself in a menacing manner.

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
Sirens rang out in Chicago tonight. Zell sat in his dorm room, lonely and depressed since the disappearance of his roommate. He sat on his bed in his favorite wool Eddie Bauer shirt that was almost two sizes too big for him. With a sigh he looked out his window, hugging his knees and drifting off into his typical train of thought when he was alone. He didn’t have much time left at all. Here he was, a seventeen year old billionaire who was not only one of the most successful men in the world, but a successful meta-human hunter as well. He had a wonderful girlfriend, the best friends a guy could ask for and still he was miserable about the impending fate that he could not escape.
He stared out the window, his finger fiddling with his A.V.A.T.A.R and trying to get the connection with Niall. The connection never picked up and Zell’s heart sunk. Not only was he going to die, but now he was simply pushing everyone else he cared about aside to make it easier for them when he died. He was a great friend, but logic told him that in order to make everything easy on everyone else he needed to be the ‘bad guy’ and leave them with the impression that they were better off without him. This thought sparked his curiosity a bit, how would Niall handle his death when it came? Would he be happy? With the way Zell had been acting lately, his A.I would be the first in line to piss on the headstone…and Zell couldn’t blame him. Suddenly what he was perceiving with his eyes rattled something in his subconscious that stirred him from his daze.
A Hospital was on fire, as well as the pharmaceutical company next door. Wondering what the hell was going on Zell took no time in pressing the center button in his alien tech attachment and summoning an Ancestor Dragon suit to his aid. The suit scrambled apart and began fitting over him as he opened his window and jumped down from the top floor of the large dorm building. Of course Zell anticipated on his boots NOT getting snagged in the dirty clothing hamper, and almost had a heart attack when he needed to stabilize himself with only a glove and a boot at .03 seconds from touching the ground. With a sigh of relief the final boot and glove finally attached themselves to the Meta human hunter and he flew off to the hospital.
As he flew over an alleyway, he noticed several men who were talking to a mysterious figure. Zell ignored them and flew on straight to the fires. He burst through the window of the highest floor and began using I.V Drip tubes as attachments, tying them around the beds and his exo suit. He was able to assist the nursing staff in getting the entire top floor evacuated to safety by calling in an old friend, S.T.A.R.K, the massive cyber-organic Dragon. The Dragon took loads by dozens and got them out to the parking lot there the fire was no longer able to harm them. There were several tents and labs set up to handle everything that was needed for patients of almost any condition. Zell ordered Ravenheart, the three foot tall genetically modified raven to land and watch the events occurring in the alleyway. Zell’s left eye was then patched through to see exactly what the Raven itself was seeing.
"Of course, you all have upheld your end of the bargain, and as such, I will gladly give you the best reward I can give you" he said to them in a deep voice, one that was almost as alluring as it was evil. Evil proved to be the appropriate adjective as the men who did the ‘dirty work’ found them selves on the raw end of the deal.
The man somehow covered them all in spider webbing and tossed them into the dumpster, only to light them all on fire while locking them in there at the same damn time! Zell couldn’t even order his faithful feathered comrade to do anything, because the bird was powerful and smart, but still limited.
The unknown, red-haired man walked away chuckling. He just walked away. The poor fool probably had no idea that the silent bird was talking his every move. Zell found himself chuckling in a way that was perhaps even more sadistic and twisted than that of the unknown mans. He felt a roar inside him, a hunger that was insatiable. HE felt the monster inside him wanting out.
”LET ME OUT! I WILL FINISH THIS ARROGANT CUR! The monster called out in a roar. Zell counted his breath and clamed himself, not allowing the inner evil take hold of him.
”No…but by the end of the night, he will wish he had met you…” Zell whispered to himself as he dropped off the last patient he could. HE immediately took off in the direction of Lourishna, who was not allowing the pale red hair out of his sight.

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
As the unknown, red-haired man continued along his path, making sure to avoid any areas with light illuminating it. He would not allow his visage to be viewed by anyone, in the event that someone might have eavesdropped on the little back alley dealings he had with those gang members. Aside from his hair, nothing else could really be observed about him, and that was exactly what the man planned. Keeping his identity hidden was very important, as it would be tremendously hard to move around and make deals to help spread disorder and anarchy if his face was plastered everywhere.
Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks and started looking all around him, up in the air, down to the ground, all sides of him, every degree possible. It was obvious to any observer what was going on, especially to his unseen observer. The man thought he was being followed, and that wasn't from some feeling he had in his gut or the hairs on the back of his neck standing up to alert him of unseen eyes. He was just paranoid and cautious as to his surroundings, so paranoid in fact he started to increase his speed a bit as he continued along his path, weaving through alleys and the like with excellent grace and speed.
He felt he was being followed, even though he didn't have anything to tell him he was. It wasn't the hairs on the back of his head or a twisting feeling in his gut, his paranoia and caution were kicking in again as he moved, making sure to keep his eyes on everything he could see to ensure that nothing and no one was following him. The only thing he could make out was the outline of a bird, but it was probably an owl of some kind, as there were plenty of rodents in this city and it was night time, so he didn't think anything of it right now.

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
Zell was closing in on the man, the distance between Zell and Lourishna the Ravenheart was only about a block at most. Lourishna still menaced directly overhead, his black and violate feathers giving him perfect camouflage as he flew across the black void of night. Zell still could see through this avian ally’s eyes through the use of their Pseudo-techo-telepathy enabled by the A.V.A.T.A.R. Zell noticed a sudden halt in his movements, almost as if the red-haired man was suspicious. Zell smiled, seeing his target follow the same path of every psychopath…paranoia. There was no way that the man could have uncovered Lourishna, but irrational paranoia was a normal expected trait, despite at this moment it actually being coincidentally appropriate.
The man picked up speed, but for Lourishna there was no contest, the avian was obviously much faster than the man below. He began to duck and weave in and out of alley’s with extreme grace and precision, a trait of a cunning and efficient killer. Zell picked up his own speed as best he could, now at a full sprint. Zell estimated at this point There would be little confrontation, rather just a game of cat and mouse. Unfortunately for poor Jerry here, Tom and the Hawk teamed up.
Zell noticed how the red-haired mastermind was looking around frantically. Zell then smirked, knowing that the attacker had obviously seen Lourishna and not thought much about it. Zell was able to pull up a map of the city, and he said ”Screw It, I’m going to cut him off, Louie. Make sure you get him to come up the South Abby alley.”
Zell thought to himself, the techno-telepathy kicking in. Lourishna cawed out, a loud predatorily screech before descending down at the spider man, still faster then him, and he swooped down and landed in the alley that lead to the opposite direction of South Abby. Lourishna took a cat in each hand, and flared at the red-haired man and cawed at him, to startle him a bit, hoping the fact that there was a three and a half foot raven monster in his way would deter him into taking the other path that lead straight into Zell. Zell shot up the Alley way, hopefully to come face to face with the man.

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
The man stopped in his tracks at the sight of the large bird that had gotten in his way. He narrowed his green eyes and seemed to hiss threateningly at the large, unknown bird, seeing the obviousness of the situation. The bird was stopping him from moving on, and most likely trying to corral him in another direction. He narrowed his eyes for a moment, turning around a bit and noticing that a man was very quickly closing in on his position. He took the time to look at his surroundings and noticed it was just the right place to set things up.
So, he quickly prepared for the man, spinning up a hardened silk mask that he proceeded to wear over his face, the only things that could be observed about him were his menacing green eyes and long red hair, making sure to leave a hole in the mask for his nose. The man pursuing him had no idea what the red-haired individual could do, so he had plenty of time to escape when he needed to do. His spider-like abilities allowed him great mobility as well as the ability to move vast distances while in the air. Aside from the large bird, he had the advantage over this person that was attempting to confront him.
He quickly addressed the man that had come to intercept him, going so far as to clap slowly in a mocking manner. "Someone is clearly not too bright if you thought to pursue me in this alleyway. Confronting an unknown is not very smart, especially when you don't know the extent of their abilities" the red-haired man said to the man who thought he was trapped here. The truth of the matter couldn't be any further away from that. He could escape anytime he pleased, and it's not as if he had to fight the man.

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
Zell watched as the man clap slowly. Zell felt his anger rise, and it was not a good thing for Zell, or this man. Zell crossed his arms and looked off to the side to see Lourishna ast the man, taking no real interest in this guy who was now confrotnign him.
"Someone is clearly not too bright if you thought to pursue me in this alleyway. Confronting an unknown is not very smart, especially when you don't know the extent of their abilities" The man offered. Zell smiled and pointed to the bird.
"Well in all honesty You're not unknown, the bird saw your face before you put the mask on and here in about ten seconds I'm going to know exactly who you are. Also I have access to your biosignature which tell me that you aren't human and that you have genetics similar to that of a spider. So no I have no idea the extent, but I do know the premiss. So...actually I know exactly what I'm up against, and I can honestly say I'm not impressed." Zell said, the exo suit voice modifier altering his voice. The man didn't need to kow that half of that was a bluff. Lourishna DID see part of his face, but it was far to brief a glimpse to get any information from.
"So I'm not sure if I should be this conflicted. The masterful execution was just...well Brava, it was excellent. A true peice of art right there. No loose ends, nothing. However part of me is wondering what the hell was in it for you. I'm not sure I've ever been this conflicted. I want to give you praise, but also rip out your throat." Zell mused out loud. He then gave a grunt and shook his head. He really was conficted. He started out hating this guy, but soemthing inside him also respected him. The method was so...methodical and clean cut.
"I think we both know that you're not trapped here. So we can do this one of two ways. One, you can be a good boy and spill your intentions. Or I can level this entire part of town and you with it." Zell said, Lourishna immediately took to the air and tried to cut off any means of escape. Zell was ready to counter anything, the question was, was this person ready to give up or put up?

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
The unknown man raised an eyebrow behind the hardened silk mask he had woven up for himself. He wasn't a lie detector, so he wasn't able to tell whether or not the man was telling the truth. However, there was also the possibility that it was just a bluff and he was only guessing some of the things he said. Whichever one it was, he had no idea, but he was always one to be cautious, rather than confident and arrogant. He was not one to rely on possibilities and chances, no he relief on sure things and guarantees.
However, there was one thing the man confronting him clearly didn't know, and was just accusing him of something. "You and I both know that the only thing you can prove is that I did some manner of deal with gangsters, and that I wound up killing them after they upheld their end of the bargain. So, aside from that little tidbit, there is nothing else you can discern. I made sure that I spoke no words that indicated what, exactly, the deal was, so your baseless accusations will get you nowhere" the shadowy figure said to the man confronting him.
The red-haired figure smirked to himself as he talked to the man that was attempting to confront him in a patronizing, but relatively calm and patient manner. As a matter of fact, that eerie calmness and patience he seemed to have would more than likely indicate to Zell that he was not some psychopath or serial killer, but a cunning, patient planner, and was more than likely sane of mind, just someone who cared nothing for the lives of others.

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
Zell chuckled a little bit. This person was obviously of sound mind, which brought up th question once more of 'What did he have to gain.' Zell began pacing a little in the closed alley, he was like a rabid animal. The thing inside him was begginf to be let loose, to finish twhat Zell didn'thave the guts to do. Zell wouldn't listen though. It wasn't worth it.
"Uh, you're making one major assumption that you should not be...." Zell offered up with a little bit of a chuckle. Waiting to hear a response he simply decided to press on and explain. "I would only need qa base if I were taking you to the cops...What would make you think I'm taking you to the cops?" Zell asked him, trying to get him to understand that Zell had very little care for the people caught in the aftermath, that he didn't give two-rats tails what the law said. Zell was a human who loved order and structure. But Ancestor Dragon was a hero that caused Chaos. For order to exist there would always be a need for Chaos.
Zell held out a hand in a non threatening manner suddenly hsi hand began to glow with energy. He shot it up intot he air, letting it sine out like a firework that disappeared into the atmosphere. This action was a signal to S.T.A.R.K that he needed to defend those people by any means he could. Zell was ready for war. Zell looked back down to he masked man and he went to speak when he howled out in pain, clutching at his abdomen. As if nothing had happened, the 'new' Zell cracked his neck and semelessly transitioned into a new, more violent and hostile approach.
"Spider-man and Iron man in an alley way...what are you waiting for? C'mon. Gimmie a kiss." The deper more suave tone of Zells voice said through the modifier. With a protonic blaster shot right at man.

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
The red-haired man narrowed his eyes in cautious when the man doubled over. Right at that moment, he quickly went into action, jumping high into the air and landing on the roof of one the alleys. He wasn't going to bother fighting the man, and he didn't pay attention to the fireworks display the man shot up into the sky. He started high-tailing it, taking advantage of the short time-frame he had to escape before the man came after him. He quickly jumped from building to building, determined to get away while he had the chance.

Re: A Spider Makes It's Nest in the City of Chicago (Zell Only) (TOPIC COMPLETE)
The man had no idea what he was up against. Zell activated his A.V.A.T.A.R using the Project:Empower increasing his speed from twenty miles per hour at max to two-hundred and fifty miles per hour. Zell chased the man down easily, dove into him and takeld him into the ground. With the full force one could expect that this would hurt. But there was something different in his intentions now. ell let the eye cokets of the helemt remove, allowing his own brightly glowing green preatory eyes meet the red haired mans. He began laughing. (+4 to Speed on Grid)
"Kill you now, or not?" the new 'Zell' asked outloud. he began charging up a Protonic blast and then let it fade away, not firing it. "This could be too much fun to pass up. I'm gonna let this go....but promise me you'll do soemthing like this in Canada in about three months. Ciao." He said as he let the man go and got up, walking away. This person was spared, not because Zell wanted to, but because IT wanted to. Thsi was the first time that whatever was inside Zell actually made a decision to go against him, and succeeded. This marker was a stepping stone for the creature, it was finally gaining ground in it's struggle for independance, in it's path for power. Once he was out however, there was no guarentee he could ever be locked back in again. Was this something the world around him was ready for? Zell doubted it, and more importantly, in three months would this be soemthing that this man was ready for? Thinking that far in the future was pointless, considering they didn't even know if this man would even let him walk away now.
