The Legacy

Personality:
unlike the normal teenager, Lyra is sort of toned-down and quiet. Before the kidnapping, she was very bright and playful. But the accident changed her entirely. She is very quiet and rarely speaks, and hides her feelings. Most of the time her face is an impassive mask that cannot be read. At times, she may venture out of her shell and remain as how she was before the fateful accident. When it is like that, it is easy to see her as a teenage girl who is just quiet. But when she's not........you can see who she is. For real.

History:
Lyra lived a pretty unusual life for a teenage girl. Until the age of 7, she had a very normal life, born as the oldest child of the Cross family. She got along well with her siblings, Stella and Lucas, and their parents usually trusted her to be in charge of them when outside the backyard. Nothing big ever happened to the little family.
The real stuff struck when Lyra was 7.

Spoiler:

On the extremely hot summer, Lyra and the twins were out again, playing. Their mother was gardening only a few meters away by them, and the father was helping her. Lyra and the others were tormenting their pet dog Spark.
Three masked gunmen rushed into their house. The serene place quickly turned to chaos as Sarah, their mother, desperately tried to defend her kids from the gunmen and the father battling them. It wasn't very long. In moments, Their parents fell to their ground, blood blossoming on their shirts. The three children began to cry, raising the attention of the neighbors. Panicked, the gunmen knocked Lyra and Lucas in the head, knocking them out. Stella landed on the ground by her parents, blood trickling down her little forehead.

Spoiler:

She woke up at a mystery place that resembled a hospital, with very vague memory of her past.. The 'nurses' explained to her how she had experienced something terrible, but was now going to be safe, even if she still needed to recover. Time passed, and she did get to recover slowly. She endured the painstaking 'treatments' and lived along others who, strangely, had similar expediences. She thought that it was normal, and accepted it meekly.

But changes were happening to her. One day, when she was almost 9, she felt a tearing pain in her forehead. She tried to hold it back, but finally it became too strong. She let out a high-pitched scream, and the planted in that hallway went crazy. Lyra was sedated and underwent an examination to prove it why.

Then they discovered what had happened;

She was a mutant.

She then was transferred to a special wing of the mystery place. There was only one other boy there; a young boy named Thomas, who was also a mutant. Unlike her, he had powers related to sound. Unlike the others, they were treated like royalty. They were pampered and given advanced education as well as way to control their powers. But as they got older, and their powers got stronger, the people turned harsh towards them.

They were forced to be under control, They treated the two like animals and worked them to death. One day, they finally couldn't stand it anymore. They escaped, using their powers and were finally out of the place.

It turned out that the facility had all been a phony. The people were kidnapping children on purpose to find a way to turn them into mutants. They escaped and spoke about this to the public. Before it could spread, the government put a stop to it to not have their citizens in terror. Instead, they gave them some money, got them to settle down in different places, and told them that as long as they would keep mum about their experiences, they would continue to receive support.

As of now, Lyra resides in Los Angeles while Thomas lives in Tampa Bay, Florida. She works at a department store as a salesgirl, and doubles as a hero, using her powers to defend justice.

The Powers

Power 1:Plant Manipulation
Lyra is able to control most plants by her. this is her main skill, as she uses it to trap her opponents and also inflict bodily harm such as strangling.
Power 2:flying
This power didn't come to her until recently. During a fight, she fell down a roof, and the powers activated to save her in time.
She uses it as a way to avoid the opponent and travels
Power 3:Cell Regeneration
Bloom is able to heal others when they are injured by speeding up cell regeneration.
