The Looks

Chance has tan skin that shines a bright sun orange when his ability activates. His dirty blonde hair spikes up naturally without help from gel and his electric blue eyes static every once and a while. He has muscle tone but little muscle mass. He is known for never having a cavity or crooked tooth in his life. His white smile is hardly noticed from the bright shining of his skin.

The Legacy

Personality:
Chance is a casual guy. He doesn't really hold grudges unless he really loves someone. He's pretty relaxed for a middle classed young adult. He will help any side that he believes will help him achieve his personal goals. Either that or what he believes is moral. He is truly neutral.

History:
Chance was born in Los Angeles where he was diagnosed with a condition where a babies skin is transparent. Little did the doctor's know, was that this was NOT that condition. His body was not finished creating his crystal-like skin even though his due date was now. His father Christopher Newlin, disowned him as his son and as Chance grew up, he became normal looking. Chance disowned Christopher as his father.

When Chance turned 16, his mother. Charlene Newlin, divorced Christopher and he and his mother took on the last name "Michaelis" which was Charlene's maiden name.

When Chance turned 17, he got his drivers license. On his first drive, he wrecked his mother's truck. The truck drove off a mountain side road. Surprisingly, he had no scratches but he was unconscious. What the doctor's had noticed was that his skin was sun yellow and shiny like a marble sculpture. When the authorities tried to touch his body, a flash of brightness came upon their eyes and they were blinded. Little did they know was that the light came directly from Chance. This was when Chance became Starlite.

When he got home, he tested out his powers. He realized he had brute strength. He was amazed and went out becoming a vigilante. When he turned 21, he moved out his mother's house and helped the city for a price... He switched sides occasionally. Once he would help the villains and the next he would help heroes. He currently roams the country, changing location every so years due to his limited amount of money.

The Powers

Power 1: Diamond-like Skin - Chance can harden his skin at will. Although his ability is invulnerable, he can still be caught off guard

Power 2: Enhanced Strength - When his skin hardens, his strength is increased ten fold. He can lift gigantic objects and punch through solid objects with ease.

Power 3: Illuminated Skin - As his skin hardens, he can shine bright like the sun and blind foes in the process.

Power 4: Statuesque Physique/Statue Physiology - While his skin is hard and soft, Chance can stand straight and not blink for long periods of time. He can also breath without making contractions if he pleases although he is so used to breathing contractions, he never uses this unless its necessary
