Personality: Part of an experiment called Project Defender, Validus was actually a brain. A synthetic brain that was nurtured and grew in a laboratory. Validus cares deeply about all life, though he does not understand it. His robotic strength often causes him to hurt things unintentionally.  He strives to better himself through knowledge of emotions. The Metahuman crisis has brought him to a point in which he feels that Hero's and villains alike who cause destruction to precious lives must be eliminated.

History: Validus is a brain before he is a robot. His brain was created synthetically to be the most intelligent being alive. The only flaw encountered in this process was the inability to give him emotions when he was just a brain in a container. They didn't attempt to give him any, and left it out of his biology. His brain was nourished for about 8 years and then was places into his final test. A super-powerful robotic body.
If you can only imagine an 8 year old boy being in control of enough power to lift a sky-scraper...it was messy.
He had spent his entire life only being able to communicate through a computer monitor and being taught  for 12 hours every day. He knew nothing about walking, talking, or socializing.
It took about 2 years to teach him all of these things. Leaving him at 10 years old.
He had the mind of a 10 year old, in the body of a superbot. But he was smarter than any ordinary human. The scientists that taught him weren't even half as smart as he had become. Which was bad. The point of putting him in his machine at the age of 10 was to ensure he still had respect and fear of authority, but he did not.  He threw his first and final temper tantrum on a rainy day in August. And destroyed his only home.
He now has entered a whole unfamiliar world, and has no idea what his next move should be. A 10 year old robotic genius with superhuman strength . Go figure.

Power(s): Heart of a Child: Validus may be large and powerful, but he is only 10. He has a completely non-biased opinion on all things in the world because he has no experience in real life situations. It is hard to dislike Validus

Super Strength: Validus is equipped with the most high-powered robotic systems ever created. He has borderline-demigod strength.

Nearly indestructible: The material that Validus is made up of is one of the strongest known metals, graphene. Graphene is 200x stronger than steel.

Integrated optics: Validus has implants in his eyes that enable him to identify the feelings and sometimes even the intent of the people around him. He also has the ability to see heat signatures.
