I'm new here and I need some help making a grid. I'm not exactly sure what I'm allowed to do as far as abilities and powers.

Thanks! ^_^ I'm just curious as to which types of characters survive best? I wanted to do high intelligence with decent speed and fighting ability, mid human strength and 2 or 3 in other stats. Basically a vigilante similar to batman, robin, nightwing etc etc. but the question is will I get destroyed all the time by strength/speed characters that have superhuman in both of those.

No you shouldn't. And power level isn't as important as character quality here. We've got a wide range of power levels here from the greatest of the great to very average humans. Regardless of what you make, they'll find a place to fit in on this site

Personality: A possesses an extreme passion for extinguishing all forms of manipulation and involuntary servitude. He is a darkly comical person but with his high intelligence he will insult any kind of religious belief on the spot. He feels that as a man it is his responsibility to clean up the stupidity of history and even if he must be considered more villainous than he wishes to be, he will destroy religious institutions on impulse.(after removing anyone who might be injured in the act of course.) He is a calm and collected individual and cooperates with whomever he must for the better good.

History: As a child, Adam lost his parents, but he wasn't emotionally scarred by this because he was too young to comprehend it. He was sent off to a strict Catholic boarding school where he learned to hate the attempted mind control that was forced on him. He skimmed the library at this institution and collected as much scientific knowledge as he could when he wasn't locked in a dark room for being blasphemis. He eventually concocted a plan and using his exceptional speed he accomplished a high risk robbery of the schools collection vault. He made it out of the school with nearly a million dollars. He bought himself a small apartment and began paying for an online college program out of pocket. He achieved 12 doctorates over the course of four years, along with graduating from 5 different martial arts schools at the top of his class. He then dawned his Kevlar suit and created his signature weapon.

Power(s):A highly advanced glaive that could be transformed and adapted to many situations. It has a lethal setting and a non-lethal one. It's greatest property is that he has a chip implanted within him that causes the glaive to return to him no matter what.

He also has high agility, excellent fighting ability, and super-intelligence.

You can also have mroe than one item in an application, in fact it would probably be best if you did all of them at once to keep the Item App/Accepted Items area a bit clearer.
