Smoke Break

Pain sat in his favorite chair in the lounge, the big black leather reclining chair...He let out a sigh of relief as he leaned back in the chair, he flipped his his youthful blond hair back as he pulled out an already rolled blunt and lit it with his zippo..He then inhaled and relaxed...Letting his mind wander...

Through all that had happened for the past few days, Tenshi thought it would be better to have a chance to relax from the madness. Normally she would take flight someplace and get away from it all, but today she didn't feel like flying. As she walked to the lounge, Tenshi noticed Pain relaxing on the other side of the room. It had been a while since she actually talked to him, not counting the encounter with Chaos. She walked in and took a seat on a nearby couch.

"Haven't seen you in years before now Pain."

"You just saw me save your ass a couple days ago, and then again in the room with Chaos..." Pain let out a chuckle...

Pain sat up in the chair..."Since when did anyone ever wanna talk to me?" He shook his head with a chuckle...

Tenshi chuckled and just shrugged.

"I guess me. You haven't been here for a long time that I can recall at least."

Tenshi nodded her head and thought on his words for a second. She had an idea why he would not be here for so long, but chose not to say anything.

"You got somethin to say to me kid?" Pain inhaled another hit after asking her, then looked her in the eyes with his usual intimidating look...

Tenshi looked at his eyes too, and he wore thoe intimidating look. Normally she would grimace or cringe at it, but she didn't now. Probably because she grew up so much over the years. So Tenshi just shrugged again.

"A lot of things are on my mind these days. Not exactly the most interesting though."

Pain shook his head and chuckled..."I know ya aint here to make conversation with me...If ya got somethin to say, spill it..."

Tenshi would of made a 'What if I am?' comment, but she couldn't get it out. She bit her tounge and tried to wrap her mind around on what to say. She settled back into her seat.

"There's a lot to say Pain. I guess I don't know where to really start."

Pain extended his hand that held the blunt to her..."Trust me, this will help that problem."

"My system can't handle that as well as you can Pain."

Damian walked in on Misery's shoulders. Misery was as tall as Damian was Genius, so he had to bend while on his knees to get through the door to the lounge. Misery sat on a solitary chair as Damian chose the last remaining seat, next to tenshi. He flipped out his laptop and started to work on his binary codes, oblivious to the others in the room
