The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
All eyes were on Void as he strode through OCEAN headquarters. Yet as he made graceful strides that left his long black cloak swaying, all were careful to not look at the mysterious entity. Void was pleased that the men and women who weren't operatives feared him. Despite his recent allegiances with OCEAN, He was still lord and master of the Necropolis and he would be treated as such. The rising fear and anxiety which practically pulsated through the air like a sonic boom. The unique sensations were intoxicating to the entity, so much so that he was reluctant to press on to meet Saileyra. He would much rather soak up the intoxicaing aura's than meet with the woman who lacks the same aura. Thankfully his loyalty proved stronger than hks addiction. He walked into the elevator and turned to face the room he just traversed.
He saw that the gazes he avoided, his commander had picked up. Void chuckled at how quickly a person is willing to forget fear for something like Black Magic. Where Void hid himself, Black Magic shined. Black Magic wore no mask, nor a hood, he used his good looks and charming personality to his advantage. But he never kept Void waiting. Anyone who was a stunner like Black Magic may have stopped and looked at his 'options'. Black Magic's attions were always on Void's will. Even now he walked seriously, determined to be back at Void's side, paying no attention to the adoring gazes. Once on the elevator, Black Magic pressed the appropriate floor button and the door closed. Black Magic then took his place at Void's right side.
"So... who is this...Saileyra?" He asked.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
Shi was at his quarters in the Tank Squadren's section of OCEAN's HQ. Shi was rarely ever there, in fact the majority of his time was spent wandering the world, fighting random sources of a strange energy of pure evil. When he wasn't traveling alone, he was accomppanying his ally, The Storm Incarnate, Rai Nagataki and they both acted as a sword and shield that berought an end to evil wherever they ventured. Today fate was fickle, and he would soon know it to be true.
Shi was surrounded by his japanese styled decorations he adorned his room with, and he was kneeling on a kneeling bench with his hands folded and his head down. This was the time of day, 12:05pm exactly, when Shi meditated and allowed himself to try and find his center. He started doing his breathing countes, then slipped into a mantra, and finally he was in a world of his own. He was able to see his soul for it was, and he could converse with his spirit form. The gray cracked, barren lands were inhabited only by a blood-red sky and the black and red dragon who was coiled up, looking down at his human form.
"We are not centered...we were easily angered by the words of the Magus when we last met." The dragon said. Shi didn't look up, he simply kept his eyes closed, even in his own soul, and continued to whisper his mantra as he reflected on what the dragon said. "Remember that it is not you're to kill, but mearly to recieve those who have been killed, and to protect those who are not yet 'ready' to meet us."
"The Magus is no longer my concern." Shi protested.
"Who is it you intend to decieve with that protest?" The dragon huffed, blowing smoke rings from its nose at the human form.
"I intend to decieve no one, deciet is not the way of Death...it is not our way." Shi replied almost as if it were his duty to respond. "I just don't understand why we must spend so much time preparing ourself for this Magus when we will most likely not meet him again for quite some time." The dragon let out a chuckle, like a grandfather who was speaking to his grandson, chuckling at how adorable the ignorance was.
"We are the spirit of Death, but even Death cannot control the strings of Fate..." The dragon said. He nudged Shi, and Shi opened his eyes. As if he were granted a vision, it was as if he were diving through a tunnel of green and blue energies, and then he saw clearly, as a man in a black robe walked across OCEAN's main hallway and into the elevator, and there was another with him. The mage was here, HERE, IN OCEAN HQ! Shi shot up and looked at the dragon. "Bring Death in the dozens." The dragon said.
"But only to turn our eyes from the masses." Shi replied. His eyes in the physical realm opened, and his goal was before him. He and the Magus would finish what they had started.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
There was nothing like an evening at her second home away from home, yet she knew somehow with her blipping out of this place existence it was hard on her body. Sitting up from the covers, the alarm idly went off, she had been in her room located actually on the highest floor. She had taken a liking to being high above, wether or not it marked a throne but when she had her wings she was able to utilzie it as a launch point. Not that her wings worked anyway..at least not here. Moving the covers aside, the woman placed both feet on the ground her bronze skin analyzed by her eyes.
Standing, she pulled on her armor, the one she had travelled with. In this instance, it was the usual graphene spider-silk the armor taut across her being giving her a sense of identity once more. Placing her hair in a high bun, her high cheekbones were accented complimented by the magenta eyes. She wore no make-up, she never bothered with it, hell even the bun was messy. Moving over to her belts, she clipped both over her hips so they were in a formation of an X. She had someone to meet today did she not? Void?
Moving down the hall way, she had looked about the building..how it felt like home..the compound. Albeit, the astronomy lab back at her place was truly her base with much more intricate technology but it sufficed. Standing near the entrance of where she predicted Void would arrive she would wait. Arms crossing over one another her eyes gazed staring at the entrance of the elevator with an intense stare. Armed with an gauntlet on her right arm and a sword on her right side it seemed there was nothing more than the Founder of OCEAN was beckoning for than a simple meeting..or was it?
Hopefully, what she thought to be a simple evening introducing someone to their residencial area would not go wrong..if it did..well let's just say she wasn't easy to calm down when she did get aggravated.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
"Ah, Lady Saileyra, A pleasure to see you well once more." Void greeted as happily as his stale voice would allow. He stepped off to the side and alloed his blond associate take his place. This is my commander, Black Magic." Black Magic worked his 'magic' immediatly, gently taking her hand and kissing it as if she were a queen.
"A pleasure " Black Magic said before stepping back. Void resumed his plsce in front of OCEANS leader.
"Now, mi lady, as you've observed first hand" Void said, his tone alluding to a previous event. "Necropolis is a rather....exclusive, place. As such I must ask a few things of your organization." he added. Sai's eyebrow snuck up and she looked to Void in a questioning manner.
"Not to worry, it's nothing really 'Top-secret' you see." Black Magic explained cheerily. "The most 'invasive' information we need is a list of your operatives codenames along with a form of photo identification."
"You see, dear Saileyra..." Void began with his typicak cocky smile. "The enemies of OCEAN are many, and we cannot simply trust one who claims they are of OCEAN's ranks...surly you understand." Void questioned her.

There was zero mistake. The Magus was here, and for whatever reason he was targeting Saileyra. Shi shadow stepped frequantly, only stopping to avoid collisions and to open doors. The large comex was a chore to move across, but he had to get there....NOW.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
There were a couple of concerns, for the most part, this woman was not fucking easy to associate with. She did not say anything for the couple of moments her eyes scanning both men in her halls. In her home, even far worse, the OCEAN operatives home. It was a place that would not be shitted upon and she would escort them out of the building if they got fickle with her out of all people. She may have been a leader but she was definitely more than just that. She was part of the team and just because she founded the unity of the group does not mean she has the initial final say. She cares what everyone else cares about thus their system of decision.
"I rarely grow ill.' She said flatly, warmly in greeting, on her shoulder would be a large bird. It's red body glowing eerily, but it had a metallic shine as all the metal barbs brushed against each other. Yet the feathers almost half organic to have a glowing sheen. It's body curled as it stared at both the men. 33 Barbed tails dancing left and right, it could slice right through them. Long talons on either shoulder. Nine foot long from tail to beak as it stared ominously it's eyes digging into them without any sense of remorse, if anything protective. An eerie sense of distrust came from the bird on her shoulder as it's feathers ruffled. Seeing the man approach to take her hand, she seen his head lead down. Moving her foot she'd actually pivot off her left foot. "I do not appreciate gestures of flattery. I am not a damsel in distress, Black Magic. I am a warrior, a leader, and that makes me not your typical female that has the joys of looking for her prince. I would much rather have a handshake from commander to commander." She said, her voice burning into him, her eyes of magenta deep.
Without avail, she listened to the next set of information, did she care if she pissed off the other gentlemen? No, because she had to make her point clear she was not to be treated like some piece of royalty. She was the equivalent to a military commander not some dainty fucking flower. Listening to his request, he needed images of her operatives, their code names. Sadly, there was no way in hell she was giving out information about her operatives to anyone. "All OCEAN operatives are given a genetic ID card. These cards cannot be replicated because they are genetically matching to their blood type. If identification is a big deal, all my operatives have identification if they go to the walls of Necropolis. Each ID has photo identification. Is there anything else you need today, dear?", She said, her voice almost poisonous to Black Magic as she had glanced over to him. Of course, she was showing the other man Void, as much respect as she could.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
"There is one other matter..." Black Magic began. Voids slightly tilted down head shot up and he looked over his shoulder at the door behind them. "Master!?" The younger mage asked immediately.
"Black Magic." Void said sternly."You have inadvertently offended Sailerya. I shall finish up in here, I would like you to go out and wait there for me." Void commanded. Black Magic 's eyes widened and he stood upright in perfect posture at the word Wait, which Void had said unusually. Black Magic bowed. But before he led the looked to Sai.
"I meant no offence, accept my sincerest apology." Black Magic explained as apologetically as possible, and then turned and went out the door. Void kept looking at the door for a minute, and then sense Sai's uneasiness. Void chuckled heartily and looked back to Sai.
"I hope you understand that my friend was only acting in protocol with the manner in which I addressed you. I called you 'Lady Saileyra' and so greeted you in the way one would greet a 'lady' from royalty. The fault is mine, and as such I am truly sorry that my manner of speaking led to a breach of your personal space."Void explained as best he could. "What a beautiful bird.."Void mused. He did not intend to say the thought aloud, but he had. He quickly progressed back to the last order of business.
"I would like to bring to your attention a 'gift' for you. The gift is not from me, for it is a gift from my people. I would like to send a group of my Forsaken soldiers to bolster the security on the premises. I am not intending to insult you, I merely wish to know that I have offered my support to the beautiful structure you call Home." Void explained. He then sighed after taking a breath. Furthermore, I must have you know that as a king, I am a slave to my people's will, and I must do whatever is in their best interest. I would leave a decision upon you. I can stay here in your HQ, but will need to take periods of absence to go to my city to handle situations my commander cannot.. Or I may leave my commander, Black Magic, whom will relay any duities you would charge upon me personally...and I assure you ...He shall not make the same...mistakes again." Void smiled, but a low growl escaped and he looked over his shoulder again. He could feel the presence...it was definitely HIS presence...the presence of THE DEAD MAN.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
"Not so fast." A voice commanded. Shi stopped as a long staff was held across his path. Shi looked for a moment seeing a young man, not even legal to drink alcohol yet. He had thick golden hairwith dark roots, wearing a long matrix-steampunk styled coat over a black t-shirt and matching black jeans. Shi studied the person, but their eyes betrayed then. The brown pools sparked to life with a bit of a blue tinge. Shi instinctivly stepped back and scoffed as he rested his hand on the hilt of his blade. "Any who come for my master's life shall loss theirs and meet death." Shi gave a condescending chuckle and shadow-stepped past the young man, drew his blade as he turned to attack his enemy from behind.
"I.Am.Death."

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
First issue of the night solved and his commander was reprimanded. It was good enough for her, she did not mind being called 'Lady Saileyra', but she did not appreciate being treated like some pompous bitch who was born to spread her legs. She noted the fact she was indeed a female, and 'Lady' was a formal term but she was definitely not royalty. Her eyes idled as she noticed Black Magic leave, it gave her a smirk of relief. "I'd rather be treated as a companion in arms, Void." She said, her voice simple and rather to the point. She was no longer cold in tone almost friendly but business oriented as she crossed her arms. Her eyes scanned him as she glanced to Black Magic, whom he offered to be here in these walls. "Black Magic is not welcome in my presence. He will have to earn his presence here in the OCEAN H.Q for his actions. I do not take lightly to civil disobedience." She said, her voice simple and rather straight to the point.
Then the doors opened, her reflexes surged as she noticed Shi!? In seconds, she herself drew her own blade she'd take off in a run in his direction parrying his blade in an off angle. Her skills of battle trepidating her reflexes fast enough to barely parry the blade as he got near Void. Saileyra stepped forward grabbing Shi by the collar slamming him into the wall with the brute force of 10 tons. The special wals didn't even fucking dent from the force, her fingers held him, her eyes borning into his. "What is the meaning of this, Shi?" She demanded, the blade resting low at her other side. "I demand a fucking explanation for your behavior." She said, her voice obviously angered.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
Shi defeated the young mage, quite easily, due to the mage's ignorance of Shi's nature. Thus was the way of battle however. Shi had assumed that the mage could do ANYTHING, until it was prove otherwise. Shi would confess, the young one had promise and talent. Had the mage prior knowledge of Shi, it would have been more than just his straw hat that was burned by toxins. Maybe next time...for Shi spared the mage, even against his better conscious. Shi burst into the room, sword drawing, preparing himself to go full out shadow step when Sai positioned herself between him and his target. He would not see his current attack through, lest he hurt an ally. Once he was pinned agai s the wall Sai spoke with plain anger and an confusion. She spoke to Shi, and he replied:
"Fucking and explaining would have to be done at seperate times. Together it would be most unconventional." Shi said sarcastically, as he always did when he was emotionally uncomfortable. "I beg you release me. This man is a danger!" Shi snarled, the tip of his katana pointed at his old nemesis. Shi knew the magus had his response, but Shi wouldn't hear it. "Forgive me...I do only what must be done." he said to the woman. He was truly sorry that he'd been captured in a situation like this. He never wished any harm on the warrior who had him pinned, but surly to give her a moments hardship was worth protecting her. All Shi had ever done was in defense of OCEAN. Hopfully Sai trusted his judgements.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
The samurai closed in quickly, gently brushing off the woman with just enough force to squirm free. Void smirked as he realized the nature of the attack. The way the samurai was moving, he kept himself balanced, able to quickly retreat. The way he brushed off Sai's grasp firmly, but in a way he would not hurt her. Void was cackling in his mind the entire time. 'So the Dead Man protects our new ally hhhm?' Void mused. He quickly summoned up his energy.
"Knight threatens king." Void said smugly as he vanished before all the eyes upon him.

She held him there, her form close, her hips pressing into him her one foot back loaded ready to knee him if she had to. Her other leg pinning his thigh not giving him a chance to move what so ever. She wasn't going to take that risk. With his sarcasm it made her wonder how far he would take this conversation. She had the fight now ask questions mentality but not when she did not know what was going on. It was the matter of respect and knowing that they had to fucking help each other. If this man made Shi uncomfortable this was something she had to fucking know. Not only was he her operative he was also a member of their home, with this, came the trust of a familiar.
"He did not touch a hair on my head, Shi." She said, growling at him, her voice reflecting her anger as she slammed him gently. It wasn't hard enough to kill the man she was sure. She was just showing him she was not going to let him go. She was not going to indefinitely, she enjoyed Shi's presence but she did not want him to act out. "I forgive your actions. But what ever rivalry that is between you two will happen outside the walls of OCEAN H.Q. Not is this your home but this is also a place of professionalism. I was doing business with him Shi. He was offering security, soldiers, that is something we cannot readily refuse." She said, her voice edged, "He wants to work with OCEAN and that includes everyone. There is no I in fucking team Shi." She said, as she stood away from him her arms crossing. She was pissed off, very pissed off becuase Shi was the last person she expected lashing out on someone.
"If you two want to duke it out. You will both do it outside the facility. If there is another break out like this in this facility I discharge you and no longer affiliate with Void. Both of you will be eradicated from the existence of this facility. I respect you do not dislike him but within these walls you are to either stay the fuck away from him or control yourself." She said, her arms crossing as she stared. "If you two want to fight take it to the training area. This isn't about me or anyone else. It is about respect. What you did. Disrespected me." She said, reeming him, not caring if he cared or not. She made her point and if it did happen again she wouldn't hesitate to put an ending to it. She didn't need it, the OCEAN members didn't need it and if she was going to work with Void in the future on some operations with Shi present the last thing all the Squadrons needed was them killing each other. Mistakes. There could be none.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
The last person Shi ever wanted to be at ends with was Sai. If there were only a way to convince her that this....Void character was bad business. Shi was released, and he sheathed his blade. The smell of the dead was on Void, even though he was no longer visable, Shi knew he was there. He looked to Sai.
"There is no I in team....but there ia LIE in believe." Shi said to her. "I know you are more than able to take care of yourself...but please....take extreme care with this one....A man who devours souls is not a trustworthy man." Shi added. He turned and went for the door.
"You dishonor me by robbing me of the souls of the departed. You have also robbed those souls of eternal rest. Now you enter the place I call home and you dare to send your foolish ally after me without the honor to confront me yourself. Let it be known, Magus. Your first step that endangers my family, shall be your last." Shi snarled as he took his leave.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
The samurai, the one Sailerya had called 'Shi' had now left the room, and Void allowed himself to be seen once more. He could sense the curiosity and anger seething from Sailerya. Void allowed himself to smile, allowing himself to take in the intense emotions of the woman. Fearing the woman would misinterprate the smile he settled himself and spoke to her.
"If you desire an explanation I shall more than willing oblige." Void said confidently. With his head raised a moment there was a light tap on the door, and it opened, revealing a torn up and badly beaten Black Magic.
"Forgive the intrusion, Master." He said quickly as he wiped the cut above his left eyebrow. He then looked to Sailerya and nodded to her as well. "And your pardon too ma'am. Death was truly 'persuasive' in his methods getting here. I accept full responcibility for my failure in stopping him."
"Death is something that NONE may escape. Even the immortals shall one day die. For Death will always find a way. I should have warned you of his capibilities, you would have been successful then. If I can defeat that 'Shi character, then you should as well." Void replied to him, turning to Sailerya. "The man you call 'Shi is actually the spirit of Death, according to various sources. Sources also indicate that he's made an oath to defend and not destroy, thus he has chosen a form capible of defending. The very power that I command is the magics of the soul. The Forsaken are the souls of those who have not passed onto the next life, and given a physical form by my magics. Death assumed that I was robbing him the chance to put a spirit to rest, and attacked me. His outlash is understandible, it would be as if my commander were to simply walk into your office and throw you out of your chair and assume control of your operation. I cannot imagine that would sit well with you, and you'd pe perfectly justified in the angers you'd feel." Void explained. While Void was logically explainin git he made it very clear every time he said Shi's name that he highly disliked the 'man', and while he understood that Saileyra was the leader of this place, he would not hesitate to destroy Death's chosen form outside of the walls.
"She hates me enough as it is sir, please don't give her the idea that i'm threatening her. I have a feeling that she'd most likely win, my wounds aside even." Black Magic whispered to Void, while he was not sure if it was quiet enough for the woman to hear or not.

Re: The Magus and The Dead Man (Closed to Shi, Saileyra and OCEAN ops.)
She stared at him, Shi had left, ran off she would have to talk with him later. She would handle this man with care, her operatives opinions truly did matter to her. Whatever was going on between them there was no sense of her letting it get in the way of her business her eyes scanned the man. Unwavering, her emotions died down to nothing in seconds. He'd notice that was the stare of a hardened soldier, a survivalist, she did not care for the formalities of their altercations. She wanted to understand the concept for the survival for the simple fact that OCEAN is meant to survive, strive, and allocate.
Her eyes scanned but she said nothing as she had listened to his reasoning. It didn't reason enough with her as she growled at him. She was not mad but she was asserting her position. This was not his kingdom up here he was another person. Royalty or not, she'd respect him as such, but she had no reason to give him the satisfaction he had the power of one here. Not at all, her arms crossed as she tilted her head her eyes watching as she had scanned him for the moment. "I would not allow him in this building again after the stunt he pulled." She said glancing to Black Magic whom was timid much less ballsy than his king. Saileyra would make her point and she would remain the one that would create here with this.
"I understand." She said simply, her eyes scanning, "But I come from a place where death is cheated. My kind flourish with Death, Void." She said, her eyes scanning him staring, "So I cannot say his presence is unwelcomed in my book. He may be your rival, enemy, and someone you dislike. He came first in my book, he has seniority over you Siphon of the Damned." She said, her voice flat straight to the point, "Shi is a valued warrior and a friend. In these walls, he is my brother of arms. You want an alliance correct? In these walls, you will be civil, in these walls, you will not attack. In my presence, you will not attack. On operations, if both of you are together you both will act as professional allies."
She said firmly, her eyes stared at him as she shook her head, "Please be clear on this void. You are an ally. Shi is my operative. He is on a higher rank than you. Death or not, he is still a man with flesh. He is still a body and he is under my care. In my presence, I will not hesitate to defend him if you attack him because he has given much love and care to the others in this head quarters. I cannot afford to lose a man with such moral and heart. If you two kill each other out of my presence it will be collatoral damage. But, do not hesitate, if I am with him and you claim to try his life. I will not hesitate to defend it."
