New Member Seeks People For Story!

Yo dudes and dudettes.

So I'm new. I know no one yet! But. I'm looking to do some character developy things for my character Ross. Ross is, basically, a corporate hero. He's a peak level human with some armor and gadgets to push him above. His company's relying on him to be a status symbol so there's a lot of pressure on him.

So what do I want to do? Screw with that. Let him show some doubt. Ross is quite underpowered compared to a lot of characters running around SHRPG. So what do I need? Someone to kick his ass! I need either a villain or a hero for him to underestimate, nut up to and then just get the crap kicked out of him. That way I have an arc. This guy designed to be a hero immediately finding out he is NOT the big cheese people expect him to be.

I'd also like to find some friends for him. Maybe a mentor or something. He's a serious, midwestern goody goody farmboy who doesn't always get a joke and pushes himself as hard as he can. He's got this real problem where he thinks he needs to be the leader in any situation, even if he's not qualified. Lots to play with.

So that's what I'm imagining. If anybody would like to work with me, I'd appreciate it. There's a lot we could do. I need him to meet people so I can get some RP going.

Welcome to SHRPG. Interesting story. I was planning my next character to be a 'minor' in comparison to others on the site as well, but just someone that is fun to play as. You may have trouble finding a Villain that wants you to kick their butt. It either happens or it doesn't, depending how the topic goes, usually. But if he's only peak human, you may want to ask around the low-durability Villains. Personally, I don't want my Villain character defeated that easily, though he has lost to non-Metahumans before.

Tell ya what though, can always invent a villain to kick butt on.

If you're looking for a Hero to partner up with though, I'm game. My character doesn't have a whole lot of friends, so making one more wouldn't hurt.

I've got two villains who are more than suited for the job if you want. Cain here could be your man or even the elusive crime lord The Phantom. Phantom currently resides in Chicago but has a wide range of influence in the world's underground and Cain can move just about where ever he's needed.

Hey man, I just got my first character and think these two could have a very interesting partner/mentor/rival kind if relationship. They are both heroes with similar goals but widely dufferent ideologies and ways of doing things. Let me know if you're interested! My hero's name is Redline by the way.

Sim knows nothing of corporate culture, and is a goody-two shoes. I think they'd work well together, I'm game if you want to do any threads together.
