Long time roleplayer, first time poster. Just like to drop in and say hello to everyone here. This website looks like a fun place to be in.

I do have a few roleplaying questions. Lets say I want to roleplay a villain what are the limitations when it comes to the acts that a villain does here? For instance if a villain were to interrogate a hero how graphic is the interrogation allowed?

Also while I'm not a personal fan of it I just want to know do you guys prefer a rape scene on or off screen?

Well... That escalated quickly...

This is an all ages site, so sexually explicit content is not allowed. If you have to do a rape scene it would need to be "off screen." Though speaking for myself, I would ask that you carefully consider how necessary it is. I would hope no one here would do it simply to add shock value to a villain, and I really can't think of many situations it would be appropriate.

Generally speaking, just keep it "pg-13ish." Nothing more than would be allowed in an R-rated movie. If all else fails, talk with the people you're RPing with and figure out what they're comfortable with. If you do run a particularly graphic thread, you can throw up some warnings at the top of the first post. Like I said though, nothing outright sexually explicit.

Understood Not looking at doing anything shock valuish either and my stuff usually is around the PG-13 category. Just want to completely grasp the rules so that I wont risk ruffling any feathers.

I do have one more question. Concerning the character bios I notice that some of the bios have where people write down the description of the costumes. Is it cool if I could just post a pic that would best describe the costume?

A picture, a detailed description, or even both are all perfectly fine.
