The Looks

A very skinny man made of pretty much skin and bone. He’s quite pale skinned and lightly freckled, though he usually just scorches under the sun. He has dark bags under his eyes and more often than not looks frail and sickly. He has dark brown hair which he ties into a braid. His form is actually quite gender ambiguous, in which it’s hard to tell if he is a man or a woman, though he solely identifies as male. Often, from the distance, he can be easily mistaken as a female due to some of his feminine mannerisms.

The Legacy

Personality:
Isidro sometimes comes off as stuck up and rude, and a lot of the time, obnoxious. He often broods about life and is rarely happy about anything. He is quick to judge and place labels on people, and usually acts quite stubbornly in situations. He acts with a tone of superiority, despite the fact he often isn’t. He is quite easily irritated and flustered by other people, and just prefers to be in charge in a conversation to avoid those scenarios of embarrassment. He speaks with a tongue like acid, and has no filter when it comes to speaking. Tends to be brutally honest, usually just unconsciously.

History:
Isidro was born in Romania. He was always sick in his childhood, diagnosed with haemophilia at the age of 5. The family soon moved to America in search of a better life for their family. Isidro’s health slowly started to look up as time went on. However, when he was 10, he started hearing things and hallucinating. His parents first dismissed it as side effects of medicines, but Isidro constantly complained that it kept getting worse. His parents brought him to a doctor, and was soon diagnosed with child-onset schizophrenia.

He grew up withdrawing from social interactions and mostly kept to himself and his hallucinatory imaginary friends. His parents tried to deal with them, but nothing helped, really. The most powerful voice took the name of ‘Shem’ and had the strongest hold on Isidro’s life. Shem’s voice was intelligent and told Isidro almost exactly what to do with his life. Everything bad or completely crazy things he has ever done was under the influence of Shem. By the time he was 17, he had almost been arrested twice and was expelled from the school he was in for bad behaviour.

He left home after that to be by himself and his voices. Shem still ruled his life, no matter how hard he tried to resist. He worked small jobs, mostly, like in Walmart as a cashier, or just other cashiering jobs, really. Once he even worked at Target. Isidro really was never the best and most likeable employee to have around due to his attitude.

Though, his powers made themselves known to him when he was 20. He was having an argument with Shem, and with all the shouting and chaos, he trashed his apartment without even touching a thing. When his mind finally cleared, he was shocked and confused for a long period of time. He had no idea what had gone on, and it took him awhile (almost two months) to understand and come to terms with his new abilities. With Shem by his side barking orders in his ear, he honed and developed this new found skill.

Originally, Isidro wanted to try and use his powers for good. Of course, that was trumped when Shem told him all the great things he could do with his powers which weren’t legal. Like stealing, and robbing, and pick pocketing. Isidro had no real choice but to go with it, and his alignment has still stayed neutrally undecided, really. His powers are often used for robberies and muggings, just anything that would help maybe propel him forward in life.

The Powers

Energy Weapon Creation:
Isidro is able to create tangible weapons by focusing and projecting his energy power. However, these are temporary and he does not have the stamina to maintain the weapons for long before the frizzle out. His weapons, however, do stick to the rules of normal world physics. If he were to create a huge heavy sized machine-gun, he wouldn’t be able to carry that if it were real, and therefore cannot carry it even in energy form. Energy weapons last for around 5 posts (bigger weapons last shorter as they require more energy while smaller weapons last longer). After being used, his powers need to recharge for an equal amount of time before using again.

Telekinesis:
Exactly what it says on the tin. Isidro has the power of telekinesis, which allows him to lift objects with his mind. However, the heavier the object, the harder to lift, and therefore requires more effort to be exerted. He is able to lift up to an equivalent of 8STR. He tends to get really tired if he overexerts his telekinesis, and starts to hallucinate and overall just become unbalanced.

Flight:
Levitation styled flight developed as a subset of telekinesis. He’s able to fully fly, though without the assistance of wings, and uses this power often to get himself out of dangerous situations.

This app is mostly good to go. Just a few quick things. Why is your character's knowledge magical based? His history mentions nothing that would pertain to him knowing more of the magical world than of the normal world.

Also for your energy weapon creation. Since you have 8 Ability in it your weapons can last longer than what you have it set at. 5 posts perhaps. This is of course entirely up to you. I'm just letting you know.

As for your telekinesis your character can lift up to the STR equivalent of how many points you have in it. Since it's at 8 right now it's like having 8 STR.

Now that you mention it, I probably should change it to INT. I was slightly frazzled since they had about the same for the first three. I went and switched Occult to INT, and spiffied up the energy weapon creation like you suggested. Thanks! Smile
