Advertisement and Affiliation Rules

• 1: You must have a guest friendly advertisement area. This means:
  
  
  • Guest can post advertisements with full BBCode and HTML coding.
    
  • Guest can post external links. If you need a walk through on how to allow that, see the end of this thread.
    
  
  
  
• 2: If you expect us to affiliate with you, please give us your button in the affiliation thread.
  
  
• 3: Be courteous, and only post your ad once. If you've posted your ad already, just bump it, or request it to be deleted so you can repost your ad.

HERE IS A COOL WALKTHROUGH, OKAY? (I don't use caps lock, I shift. Cruise Control for cool is too mainstream)

Administration Panel > General > Security > Security Administration

"Unauthorize guests to post external links and e-mails" set to "No" and Save.

Below that there's,

"Disable external links to guests in messages", set to "No" and Save.

In your menu it will be checked yes in both of those.

You need to set it to No so that guests can post external links.

If you're worried guests will abuse this, make sure guests can only post in the Advertisement section of your forum.

It's a lot of work, but it makes it to where you don't get registered members that are never coming back on your site again, you know?

It also saves a lot of time. A lot of time.

Time I cannot be bothered wasting.

If you're forum is not 100% guest friendly, I am not going to let you affiliate or advertise on my forum.

Sounds harsh, but you don't have to register her to post your ad, so I'm not registering to your place.
