Star Wars RP planning

Enough interest has been shown in the cbox about Star Wars themed RP that I thought I'd give it a nudge in the door. No plot has been discussed, but we're thinking that it should stay away from the Jedi/Republic/Empire type of plots and characters that are overused everywhere. This thread can be used to bring up ideas and discuss how everyone wants to do this. Anyone who is interested can use this as a sign-up thread too.

I would personally love a plot set sometime in the Old Republic. My character is a Zeison Sha scout with a particular grudge against the Jedi. I won't go too much into detail about her until we have a basis for a story set up though.

I'll send my wild card Devaronian scoundrel.

I could use a Powertech Bounty Hunter. Always loved those guys.

Definitely interested. I'd like to be a Rodian again.

I could do a droid or a potentium guy. They're considered dark jedi or whatever but I'd be playing up their neutrality between Sith and Jedi and how easily their code can corrupt wary users. The droid would be a specialized combat droid.

Cool. We have a lot of people interested. A lot of the planned characters here would definitely be at odds, so we should figure out a way to split this up. There could be some conflict that makes everyone choose a side. I think whatever the case, we should pick one part of the galaxy that we can group anyone in.

Also, @Womb. If you're a Witch of Dathomir, we can't go with an Old Republic setting. I don't want to have more than one setting for this, so we need to figure out what we want that to be.

I'm for Old republic. If that's the setting, will we be going with pre or post mandalorian wars?

I think post Mandalorian wars gives people a few more options.

It could be a group of people being hired to go on a suicide mission. Low chance of success, probable death and just the sort of mission for a group of ragtag misfits.
