Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

An appeal
Hello there, my name is 'Expendable Drone #93774' and that's an issue. That's not my real name. My real name is Trent, but you don't need to know that. I'm here on behalf of the NPCs of SHRPG union to submit an appeal. Now there are two tiers of NPC in our union, pay-by-post and pay-per-thread. Those of us who are given assignments as some PC's personal NPC aids are given a pay-by-post rate due to our consistent use by PCs rather than one off appearances.
Those who do pay-per-thread are generally assigned roles such as 'that cop' or 'the pilot', but they're not the ones who I'm here to represent. I'm here to represent those poor members of our union who have to consistently deal with grisly death. The ones who play the villain's chosen victims for the thread, or an innocent bystander who just got caught in the middle of a fight between supers. Now most of us just slug through it, put on our costume, walk out, say our lines and leave. However those who get assigned to the suicide squad (as we call it) don't get that privilege. Sure they don't feel what's being inflicted on them, nor do they die, but they have to live with seeing those things happen to them. Have you ever had your entrails torn out and used to turn you into a human morning star? I don't think so. It may not be physically traumatizing but the emotional impact it leaves on the poor souls is terrible. They basically have to walk out there and learn all the ways a human can possibly die, sometimes more than once in a day.
Those Dominus troopers you all love to kill so much? Same five or six guys every time. Sure it's a steady gig, everyone needs mooks to kill, but they're starting to get fed up with it and Human Resources is having trouble finding new people to take the positions even WITH the pay raises that go with it. In fact, my friend Jimmy quit after he got assigned the role of a mob boss's pit bull and was turned into a combat gauntlet by some dutchman's favorite psycho PC.
In conclusion, remember that while we are perfectly happy to continue providing a much needed service, it does get stressful at times, so please, next time you see an opportunity to brutally murder a hapless bystander, don't. Or if you absolutely must, remember to check his name tag after the fact and send him some flowers, or even a nice thank you note for the excellent job he did as a human bullet sponge.
Sincerely-
Expendable Drone #93774
