Star Wars character planning
This thread is for anyone involved in the Star Wars RP to plot out their characters. We're using an Old Republic setting taking place sometime after the Mandalorian Wars. Please don't make a character who doesn't belong in that setting. Characters will end up on one side or the other in the planned conflict. You can make any character you want, but they will either side with the Republic or the Sith Lord who opposes them. The rising Sith Lord (played by Andrew) will be plotting against a Republic in a state of recovery who need to hire mercenaries to take the place of their fallen soldiers.

Description: A female Fosh covered in feathers that change colors based on her emotions. She is extremely agile on her bare digitigrade feet, but not very strong or durable.
Personality: Pharril is very cautious and defensive in nature. She always watches her surroundings carefully before judging a situation and acting on it. She is also very curious and unable to help herself from acting on that curiosity. She covets anything shiny and will try to steal them for her collection.
Background: Pharril was born on Yanibar and trained in the Force by her father, who was a Zeison Sha Force adept. As she grew up, she shied away from the warrior training other Force wielders took part in and became much more comfortable in survival training and healing. When she came of age, she worked as a scout. Her duties involved traveling through the harsh environments of Yanibar and providing search and rescue service to anyone in their community. She became adept at avoiding large predators through stealth and recovering anyone caught in a tight spot.
After years of service among her home planet, she volunteered to leave for the stars on a trading vessel to scout out possible allies for their colony. Since they did not trust the Jedi, she avoided them and the Republic entirely and stayed away from the core worlds.
Likes: Shiny things (steals and hides them)
Dislikes: Those child-snatching Jedi
Strengths: Being trained by the Zeison Sha, she is an expert survivalist who is focused in telekinesis force powers.

Description: Gar'rak has a relatively small head compared to most of his race and keeps his beard well groomed. While mostly he could be described as slow and ponderous, he can be incredibly fast if provoked or chasing a target. His presence rarely goes unnoticed except in exceptionally crowded areas.
Personality: While his species is naturally inclined towards aggression and predatory instincts, Gar'rak himself is relatively calm, if a tad irritable. He dislikes crowds and enjoys hunting his targets in remote corners of the galaxy rather than on a crowded planet like Coruscant. Preferring simple solutions to complicated problems, some might call him tactless or blunt. He prefers to think of himself as a pragmatist. In his mind, honor is something for fools and jedi -which are only differentiated in his mind by how hard they are to kill-. He prefers using slugthrowers over blasters for their ruggedness and reliability in hostile environments, but acknowledges that sometimes a blaster is the better choice. He would choose a powerful, low rate-of-fire gun over a 'spray'n'pray' gun any day, though he's not above using one when the situation calls for it. Overall, a pragmatist.
Background: Gar'rak was born on Toola and raised as a hunter, frequently prone to bullying by the other children because of his smaller head, his tribe's elder took him out on a hunting quest to help him find himself. When he returned, Gar'rak had changed, and the next person to bully him disappeared mysteriously that night. No one ever bullied him again. As he grew older, his hunting skills grew greater, allowing him to track prey across vast distances. His tribe initially approved of this but it began to get out of hand when he'd abandon hunting parties simply to chase down a lone caraboose that broke off from the pack. Eventually he realized that his desire for the hunt itself was outstripping his desire to actually catch the prey and he left Toola to become a bounty hunter, seeking to chase the only prey capable of providing him with the perfect hunt he so craved. Gar'rak tried to join guilds over the years but never managed to stay in one for more than a few months, the waiting between jobs was unbearable and even worse the members rarely cared if the hunt was entertaining. Most only cared about the payday at the end of the road. Gar'rak eventually just settled for solo work, his old contacts occasionally passing along info on particularly hard to find targets.

Strengths: His strong Whiphid physiology allows him to plow through most weaker offensives with ease and his upbringing has made him an excellent hunter and tracker.

Personality: Garos lives by the motto "Live to the fullest". Always looking for a fight, Garos often finds himself psyching himself up for the next one. The main reason he became a bounty hunter was for the thrill of it. He's not afraid to fight dirty, knowing fully well that he's outclassed by many of the other forces of the galaxy. Despite his ruthlessness in combat, Garos always keeps his promises and is surprisingly honest, always paying a companion their share of credits. Because of his honesty, Garos hates those that go back on their word, seeing them as people that aren't trustworthy.
Background: Born in Lower Taris, Garos was fighting ever since he was a child. He always looked up to the Hidden Beks, to the point that he stole a swoop bike just to emulate them. When he became 16, Garos smuggled himself onto a cargo ship to an unknown location. On the way, he was found by a veteran bounty hunter who took him under his wing. When his mentor was killed on the job, Garos took up the mantle. During one of his hunts, he stole a suit of power armor and has modified it extensively, adding a wrist mounted rocket launcher, flamethrower and a jetpack. His exploits have led him to becoming an outlaw in Republic space. He now hunts the most dangerous targets, not just for the pay, but for the thrill of it.

Dislikes: Traitors and manipulators, cowards, quiet moments
Strengths: His combat skills have served him well over his long career, a skilled shooter and brawler, Garos is also willing to fight dirty.
Weaknesses: Impulsive and easy to manipulate

Favored Fighting Styles: Garos employs heavy firepower, using his equipment to their full extent. He uses his back mounted jetpack to reach higher ground to take potshots at his enemies below. Garos is also a capable brawler, and has no trouble fighting up close.
