X-Men: World of Mutants
After tragic explosion of Xavier Institute, that killed everyone inside, including Professor Xavier, Wolverine, Shadowcat, Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Wolverine, Iceman, and many others. Mutants never gave up hope of Xavier Institute being rebuilt. Ten years after the explosion, the site remained abandoned out of fear of another deadly massacre, Jason Andrews one of the Charles Xavier's younger student took up the task of rebuilding the school and offering the next generation of mutants protection that Charles Xavier gave to his students. Even though school was opened and kids with gifts began to flood into the school, new threat was rising. Brotherhood was never completely destroyed, a new group of X-Men haters rose up just as fast as Xavier Institute was built. Brotherhood isn't the only group that hated X-Men; Alliance of Evil started their own plan of getting rid of X-Men. With several deaths reported in the news, made X-Men aware of how big the threat was. After the Xavier Institute was destroyed Mutant Response Division was and still is in business and continue hunting down mutants as if they were some sort of game, they knew that there were many others in hiding. It was only a matter of time, before they showed themselves.
