After Vexus (closed)

It was a busy day like usual; havoc being wreaked and people dying left and right. You literally would fall behind trying to count the deaths of the world today. Today like all days had its important parts like how Coronel a meta human. A man in a adolescents body being ordered to take jobs that would be hard yet impossible for others. But Coronel did not care what is was he would do it.

Today Elena has set a price on the head of a very well known person and Coronel is taking this job because he knows he can probably complete this. He looks at the paper with the instructions on it reading how this woman is a meta human and should be dealt with using ex-stream force. Coronel took all his jobs to heart and tried his best to complete him. If he worked for a company he would be known as the perfect man working for a living with no buts to his job. Coronel set out on this job which started in the usual travel since it was faster he took a small jet to Los Angelis where his character will be and for him to take said person out.

As the plane landed he stepped off and looked around. Since this was going to be a simple mission he decided to leave his belongings back at the base. He started to run and took flight using his power to guide him through the air. He came to a building and set himself down upon it. He looked around and then he jumped down using his ability to guide him to a bus seat. Usually when people come here to sit down the can see a map on the back but the map if what he was after. Seeing his direction he continued where the supposed target would go. She might know of his coming or might not, but he was sure that at random times people tried picking fights with her.

He settled down in a coffee shop the only thing that sucked most about the mission is there were no donuts here for him to consume. He ordered a frapechino. Why because they are amazing and Coronel loved them, but not nearly as much as he loved donuts. By luck he was suppose to find this girl, but he was not so sure of the information. But just encase it was he silently waited for his chance to attack.

Vexus rubbed her temples as her aircraft flew threw the sky. She had some financial problems with the creation of her new body, so lavash things such as private jets were no longer in the budget. At the very least she did travel first class. At the gate Elena strolled out, first off the plane soon followed by two of her android clones carrying and/or dragging her luggage behind them. The three of them moved very quickly and very powerfully through the airport, some people actually turning to stare after all she was dressed to the nine as usual. She had on her high thigh cut red sequin dress with her hot pink heels and purple gloves.
Once they made it outside of the airport a Mercedes had pulled up in order to escort them to their proper location. One of her clones rode in the front while the other was in the back with Vexus herself. As they were pulling away Vexus spotted something rising quickly in the sky. Her vision zoomed in on it and it appeared to be a person flying away. Risky business being at an airport, people these days were not okay with those types of things. But Meta-Humans will be Meta-Humans and there was not much she could do about them.

She arrived at her hotel, checked in and her clones took her luggage up to her room. Vexus followed them up scanning and memorizing each floor as they rose up in the elevator. Nothing was out of place here, she was just here for a quick exchange of information with an unknown source. After dropping off her bags, she scurried down the steps and out onto the streets with both her 'guards'. After a few blocks they came across a Starbucks which they entered and waited in line. As to appear normal, they began conversing with each other as if they were not complete robots. Recent television shows, or events with the latests trends, what they purchased at the sale last week, plans for later today. Vexus was literally having a conversation with herself since her clones were not 100% capable of holding real conversation. Even being in the coffee shop was pointless. None of them needed coffee or substance of any sort to sustain their life, Vexus simply enjoy the idea of coffee from a shop like normal human do. It was merely an attempt to fit in more to society.
While waiting in line for her coffee she caught a glimpse of someone who looked rather familiar out of the corner of her eye. She did not turn her head in case he had been looking at her, but the man looking like the same person she had seen flying away from the airport earlier today. Granted there were such things as coincidences, but LA was a rather big city, and there were just as many coffee shops as are people here so seeing the same person twice seemed highly unlikely. Vexus ordered her coffee and was on her way out of the shop remembering to keep an eye out for this man, if she saw him again she would know what he would be up to something.

Elena and her clones made their way to a park where her and the clones wait around on a park bench. Vexus took a seat while her androids were scanning the area for anyone. It park was strangely quiet this time of day, mid afternoon with the sun setting. Since this was an unknown source it all could just be an ambush, which may actually be for the better. Things have been awfully boring for her lately, so a little action would do her some good. Grind the gears a little and get rid of some of the cobwebs. Vexus pulled out her cellphone from the clutch bag that she had on her and began scrolling through waiting for something, if anything, to happen. She gave the slightest thought that maybe the man who she had seen flying and in the coffee shop had something to do with this. He did not seem to be the crafty type so she dismissed the idea, but relayed his image to her clones to alert her if he approached. There might be a bigger fish out there looking to catch her, but if the smaller one swam by it may suffice for a late afternoon snack...

He pulled out his cell phone and took one last look for verification. She stood out thanks to that dress she was wearing. As he had finished his last bit of coffee his target was now on the move. He threw his cup away and let himself out the back. He seen her come in with some serious looking people at her aid so he would typically think why not have people like you so he guessed they were meta human as well. He took to the air and stayed directly over her head, but high enough so no one could manage to just randomly spot him. He flown quietly too so he could keep a silent profile. He flew over buildings so if they were to look he could move to let the building hide him. He could attack right now but he was waiting for her pets to leave.

As she wound up going in the park he remember from past memories how he fought other people in this park as well. But it was behind him now, since his target was right there he did not want her to know that he was tailing her, but it was highly unlikely she did not know to look out for him. He figured he should attack now so he could get the height booster. Plus with him up there he could unleash a barrage of attacks and he did not have to worry about people because they did not matter in his life and he was not a hero. If Coronel would have seen her at the airport he probably would have attacked her there, but he didn't.

As she took a seat at the park bench he flew as far away as he needed to let himself down without being seen. He did not know of the androids other wise he would have stayed in the air. He come walking down the path straight at her coming almost from the completely opposite side she came in on. He put both hands behind his back and started charging an attack, but in his hands were his extending swords that he plan to use to immediately get a jump on her. Truthfully he was just fighting someone he almost never knew before or what that person could do. He brought out his arms when he neared her, but he was a decent yards away, and he took a swing. The swords shot out until they clicked into place then his power shot through the blades carrying 2 waves of condensed space towards all of his enemies at once trying to gun down all the birds with one stone. Coronel smiled as the wave grew closer thinking he got the jump on her.

All was calm until a man came from the sky and landed inside the view of the Android's sensors, they took a stance in front of their master while she had kept her eyes glued to her phone, not worried in the slightest in the events to come. Vexus, along with her clones, picked up the energy signal that was radiating from behind his back. One of the Androids began to close the gap while the other to a sharp breath in, however before the first could get close enough the new enemy launched the energy attack forward destroying the clone, carrying forward and destroying the second one as well. Though when the attack reached Vexus it was nullified by a rapidly spinning orb of what appeared to be black fire. The defense subsided and Elena could now be seen again casually putting her phone away. The clone that had not charged in for attack was broken and mangled to her left, before it was destroyed it was inhaling in order to throw forward a cloud of poisonous gas, so now it was just exiting the destroyed body slowing making the surrounding air extremely toxic.
Vexus shifted through her clutch for a moment looking for something.
"Who are you?" She asked very casually as she pulled out some lipstick and began applying it to her lips.
"I take it you do not know who I am, as no one in their right mind would try to attack me like that if they knew who I was..."
Vexus put her lipstick back into her small hand bag and snapped it shut with a click.
She remained seated on the bench and looked at her two clones that had been destroyed, the gas from the one on her left had not quite reached him yet. He had a couple of swords which she noticed is what he propelled his attack forward with, which she could assume was rather powerful if it was able to knock out her clones in one go. The one that was releasing the gas had also sprung a leak in the pouch that held the poison. She could see the trail lead onto the path a little bit and just a few feet away from her first clone. Vexus crossed her legs and folded her hands on her lap. The orb or black fire flashed back into existence around her as the self-destruct on her leaking clone activated. The explosion was relatively powerful and may cause some damage, however the real purpose of the blast was to ignite the poison that was on the ground. It was flammable so the fumes given off by the burning material were toxic. There would be an ever growing cloud of toxic fumes ready to poison Vexus' challenger if he had not already been scrapped by flying shrapnel.
Elena could hear sirens in the distance now, someone probably heard the explosion and called for help. Not only would the firefighters be needed but paramedics as well. To the naked eye, the smoke was just smoke and if proper precautions were not taken then more people than she could explain would come down with a very odd total paralysis condition. Vexus did not needed the added attention right now and would probably need to leave before the authorities arrived.

As she set there it seemed like she was harder to hit now. Her clones was not suppose to really take that hit, but he was aiming for her. He was just glad his attack did something. Well since you asked I'm the famous killer heard around the world Coronel Liffy. Please to meet you Ms. Vexus, but I was paid to come kill you even tho we might be on the same side. The robot leaking that fluid seemed wrong when suddenly it hit his eye. It was going to explode! Seeing this he immediately placed a wall of compressed space in front of him. The blast came at him but was easily repelled off his shield. The space he used for a shield went back to normal and then when the smoke cleared he seen the fluid was a highly flammable fluid. But it just let off this weird smoke. it looked normal, but Coronel knew that fuel does not burn to make that type of smoke. Coronel placed out his hand and simply motioned his hand to throw it far away. The smoke was getting closer, but once it hit him he just simply walked out.

I don't know what that was, but I don't think it did anything. See this I'm already dead so things like breathing or gas does not apply to me. The only way to kill me is to take my power other wise i stay. Coronel said giving some info to her so she understood him better. he told her this because he did not want to accept the assignment and come to a boring fight. Coronel popped his neck and as he put it back in place he placed the swords in an X formation and slid them across each other. Another wave was sprung, but this time she did not have her weak bots to help her absorb the damage. He used this attack so he could see how strong she really was and if this would be at least a little bit fun.

As the attack speed toward her Coronel to action to get as close as he can. He used his power to do a super jump going max speed staying behind his first attack. He would stay behind it until it made impact. He then would fly by and unleash another from behind catching her off guard. The first one grew in size like he planned and it cut everything down it touched. Trees toppled to it and the concrete was left split right down the middle like butter. (This attack will be used next post unless you do something to disrupt it.)

Vexus rolled her eyes and let out a sigh as the man continued with his assault. She removed the glove from her left arm and shifted it under her right arm so that her opponent could no longer see it. Elena did not need him seeing what she would be doing next, from any angle. As the man's attack closed in, she could tell that it was also expanding in encompass a larger area. It was also notably powerful considering the damage it was leaving in its wake. Vexus activated her Anit-Matter glove under the cloak of her other arm. The artificial skin on her arm dissolved as the gloved came to be seen. With the Anti-Matter shield in place, the man's attack was negated. He continued on still by launching himself up above her. After his first attack hit, he launched a second which also had zero effect. Simply making contact with her defense and sparking off into nothing. Once she saw that he was done with this volley she deactivated the shield and allowed the skin covering to regain control of her arm.
[color=#ff0099]"Well, you're not terrible. I have come across worse." she said as she slipped her glove back on her left arm. She was not in the slightest impressed by the boy's abilities. If anything he was getting on her nerves, he had already cost her two of her clones and at this point he was a pesky fly that needed to be swatted.

Vexus uncrossed her legs and reaching down off the bench she put her index finger on the ground. From that single point black fire began rapidly spreading out in a solid circle until the entire park had been engulfed in a dark blaze. There was no where for the fly to land now. She sat back up and crossed her legs again, she heard her phone buzz and went through her clutch to pull it out and respond to the text message as if there was absolutely no present danger. However much that it may appear that she was ignoring her assassin, her scanners still had a lock on him so she would in fact know if he decided to try to make another move. Next question would be who would be fool enough to send someone like this to try and kill her. Vexus nearly laughed out lout at the first person who came to mind. If it had actually been them she would have to pay a visit and thank them personally for providing her with some decent entertainment for once.

As both points of attack were negated he took a interest in fighting this person even more. Wow both attacks back to back easily dissolved into her liking. Coronel has never felt so used before. As he simply floated in the air he wondered what he could do to cause damage to her. He looked down and figured he should keep close to the ground just encase, but as he thought this the woman reached down and touched the ground. It immediately erupted into black flames. Coronel laughed as it reminded him of someone he meet a long time ago. He held his swords encase of an attack, but he knew how to hit her without her knowing.

Coronel looked around seeing a fountain, water, fire, and last but not least the road. Since he was high in the air he could easily pick one out. As a dump truck come passing by he thought to pull that at Vexus, but before he did he seen a school bus. He grinned in silence as he made the school bus shoot off from the road directly towards Vexus's backside seeing if she could truly be hit. He said nothing being quiet so she didn't move. The bus was silent until it got closer. The scream of the kids and the bus driver could now be heard like a sharp blade to by standards ears. The bus had caught on fire at a point when it neared. Now do something about this he shouted trying to get her attention drawn to him even if it was for a second.

Her fire was very powerful and it almost immediately started eating away at the bus. He did not expect it to stick to the bus. He figured it would grasp any surface when ever it came into contact. His last friend's fire was everlasting unless he put it out. He wondered if it was the same? He watched the bus as an experiment even if he had to show her part of his power.

Vexus rubbed the bridge of her nose as this guy seemed to be rather relentless. Her sensors picked up a large object coming towards her at a very rapid rate. She turned her head and zoomed in to see that it was a yellow school bus full of passengers that had been thrown at her by this man's abilities, assumably. Her opponent called out to her telling her to do something about the bus as if it would be some sort of challenge. Once it came into range Vexus held up her hand with her fingers all together and her palm facing the bus and released an extremely powerful blast of black fire that encased the entire vehicle. Once the blast ceased, there was nothing but a few ashes that fell to the ground.
Still sitting on the bench, Vexus put away her cellphone after finishing her text message. She was still taking all this almost a little too casually and then redirected her palm to face her assassin. From her hand she sent out an equally powerful blast of fire at him and from underneath him she manipulated the flames the stream upwards at different angles. One from directly underneath, one from his back, left and right, the front was already being covered by Vexus. Heh, so this must be what that Phoenix kid feels like...
She made eye contact with him not saying a word, but her eyes were confident. Vexus knew that this man was out classed, if he avoided this then she may have to pay more attention to him and maybe try to eliminate him. He did mention that he was being paid to attempt to kill her, whatever they were paying they probably were not paying him enough. Far more than his life was at stake here.

As the fire Spread out around him he had no choice but to take guard. He made no movement but he was readying himself by concentrating a little and putting up what would be a bubble around his body. It was the strongest damn bubble around. Ha take that other people he thought. The area around him was nice and compacted. It was very durable as well. He flew up higher but went at an angel that would make him become closer to her. He shot down at a very rapid speed going as fast as he could. He took on the fire head on, but it only slowed his a lot but he managed to regain speed after moving out of its ray or trail. He had the fire surrounding him but it was easy to get away from him.

He waved his swords sending off small waves. They were meant to test the fire, but he fired them at her. As he came closer he started to stop enough to put him in front of her. He expanded the space around him and it moved the fire far away from him. Since it was in the air it had nothing to stick to except his shield. If the fire were to hit him it could be seriously fatal and he didn't know how long he would be able to last it. He hovered just above the ground and hardened the space under his feet so he could stand. So how long are you going to keep this charade up?

Vexus gave a small grin as she saw that he was coming in closer. The smaller attacks that he set off towards her she countered with her own blasts of fire. He slowed to a halt above the flaming ground right in front of her. She looked up at him as he was still hovering, though he manipulated the ground in such a way to disperse the fire around him so that he could stand without the fire catching onto him. As he stood in font of her, keeping a rather confident demeanor, he asked her how much longer she would be keeping up this charade. Elena scanned him over quckly double checking his vital signs just confirming that he is in fact a human. She had something planned, as as a precautionary measure she activated her carbon nanotube defense. The nano mites within her got to work weaving a complex wall of the super durable material beneath her skin. The creation of the nanotubes could not be seen from exterior even though billions of trillions of mites were working to create this near impenetrable defense.
"You are very right, this has in fact gone on long enough."
For the first time during this conflict, Vexus stood up from her seat at the bench. She walked casually over to her opponent as if she had been beaten. The fire all around the park was beginning to subside in patches. When she was almost closer than an arm's length apart, the fire had all disappeared and her carbon nanotube defense was fully in place.. She was the same height as him with the heels that she had on. Vexus looked the man deep in the eyes, leaned in closer and gave him a kiss on his left cheek. She moved back slowly and gave him a smile and patted him lightly on his right cheek. There was a hot pink lip stain on his face now from the spot she had made contact with him. And with that she backed up a couple paces and began walking away, right past him.
"Good bye Coroenl, tell Marie I said hello. I do miss her so..."
She had figured out early on who was most likely to send someone to try and kill her. Vexus had eyes on Dominus personnel, the organization Thrones had not made a major move, and sending an assassin was not the Talon's style. The only one left had to be Elena Marie and her goons. Vexus figured that killing one of her members might be exactly what she was looking to do, so leaving them in a trance will do.
Early on Elena had applied her Hallucinogenic lipstick, and simply waited for the foolish boy to walk up close to her as he has just done. The drug is absorbed through the skin, so it wouldn't have mattered where he was kissed. It will only be a matter of moments before the poor soul begins experiencing fierce hallucinations.
As Vexus made her exit, she pulled out another shade of her lipstick and reapplied it. She rolled and smacked her lips together before returning the makeup back into her small clutch bag.
"Beauty kills, sweetheart..."

After Coronel was giving a random kiss he kind of took it as an insult on the regard of her thinking he was weak. He looked behind him wiping of the stain from his cheek and almost blew a fuse not to mention in just a few moments it would make him trip out worse than some stonier being high and drunk at the same time. He held up his hand and aimed at her intending to knock her away going to go up for the upper hand. He shot a blast that went straight for her. Dead on precised at her head and it would hit her if she doesn't look back and dodge it at the last second. But he did not have enough for that one attack.

He reached out both hands and pulled a large number of trees right for her. They would hit too if the same thing didn't happen. As he looked at her he was going to fire off a little more attacks. What he believed to be her he shot at in-knowing that the drug was taking its effect. His attack aimed straight for a building and would probably destroy the top half. He continued to fire off attacks as if he just won a game throwing his hands all around except there was no cheering only anger coming from his mood. As the attacks got closer he seen a slight few good pictures but the rest were so off he could not make means. AHHH! What did you do bitch. I'm dead I'm not suppose to be effected by this stuff. As he said this he unleashed an all around 360 degree attack that destroyed all of the park he was currently in creating a huge crater, but it would not be big enough to do anything to her. He managed to keep enough focus to barely keep stance on his plate of space.

As he said that is mind veered off and he started loosing one foot at a time he hurried and set him self down so he did not fall. He kept wiping his eyes trying to get a better picture of his surroundings because he knew that the lava bed he just fell into was fake, and the big monster in front of him was Elena. Now all he had to do was stop making his head spin so fast to get another clear shot like before. He was so delusional he could not tell if his first good attacks hit her because he knew he tripped out after that. He closed his eyes and felt the ground trying to get himself out of the crater he made. it was a result of his power running haywire. He would trip almost every time he stepped so it was difficult to do anything.

Vexus felt the shockwave that came off of the man's attack as she walked away, but he missed. SHe turned her head over her shoulder and saw him flailing about trying to figure out what exactly was happening to him. There was a larger crater in the ground from where he had unleashed his attack and Vexus figured that he probably had the power to harm her, just not the skills. Yet another futile attempt by another individual who knew not the power of Elena Vexus. She fled the scene completely to allow the authorities to arrive and take care of what was left of the situation.

Coronel was later picked up that minute by one of Elena Marie's henchmen after they persuaded him in to believing it was them and not some monster. He then cooled off but was still seeing things. in put him and a state of major self defense at all time.
