The process of shifting causes wear on inorganic matter, which usually means the destruction of clothing. Because of this, Damien has a supply of simple t-shirts and shorts that he rotates through. He typically doesn't wear shoes (Both because of being unaccustomed to wearing them and the fact they generally last through one shift) but rather goes barefoot most places. He owns two pairs of combat boots and a pair of sneakers for the rare times that he's forced to wear shoes. He wears the jewelry that was a parting gift from Elena, the girl that found him in the woods.

Damien doesn't have a costume, but he will alter his physical appearance a bit in order to have some type of anonymity.

Personality: Damien is quiet most times, mainly because of spending so much time isolated from humanity. He's still trying to reaccustom himself to speaking and often has trouble finding the correct word for what he's thinking. In spite of having what amounts to an 7th grad education, he is very quick to learn. Since returning to civilization, he's been doing his best to learn more about the world. He has a deep sense of loyalty and is quick to defend anyone who manages to befriend him. He has a very short temper, and is quick to attack anything that seems to pose a threat.

History: Damien was orphaned at the age of 3, the nature of his life before that being completely unknown. He was raised by Darryl Kessler since the age of 5, when the man found Damien outside of a group home being beat up. The old man took the boy in, back when Damien was just a straggly half-fed orphan fighting for his life. Life in the small Minnesota town was much better, Damien being educated and raised well. He led a relatively happy childhood, with few worries and many happy memories. His adoptive father use to take him camping often, showing him the ways of the forest and how to track animals, as well as hunt. When Damien was 7, he developed an intense fear of water after nearly drowning, which has affected him greatly, even in the development of his powers.

At the age of 12, Damien was beginning to experience the major physical changes in the manifestation of his powers, namely his fangs and his claws. He slowly realized that his senses were sharpening drastically. His true power showed up a few months later, while on a camping trip with his father. He and his father were tracking deer when they were attacked by a bear. Damien threw himself between his father and the bear, intending on trying to fend it off himself. He then shifted into a bear, scaring off the attacking one. He passed out shortly afterwards, his father carrying him to safety. The two agreed to keep the incident a secret.

Damien didn't know it, but his adoptive father was very sick. He died a few months before Damien's 13th birthday. This left him alone in the world, with only the prospect of returning to foster care. Damien took off from his former home, leaving for the only place he could think of where he could survive on his own: the forests of around his home. He and his father had been there a few times, and he figured it would be a good place to hide. With his powers it would make things much easier to survive. He wandered through a hundred or so miles of forests around, making all the area his home.

Life in the cold and hostile terrain changed the boy. He spent 6 years isolated from all other humans, living mainly off what he hunted or stole from campers. It would have remained this way if not for his chance meeting with a group of campers. They were terrified of the feral teenager, but one of the girls offered him some food. With some coaxing, the campers were able to find out the most basic things about Damien. They took him back to their home, doing their best to try and reintegrate him into society. Now after almost a year back in civilization, Damien is intent on finding his purpose in life.


Power(s): Shapeshifting- Damien can shift into almost any animal that he's seen, but it makes it easier if he's 'bonded' (absorbed the genetic makeup of) with the animal. Given his intense fear of water, Damien can't shift into any type of sea creature. He can't turn into any mythical animals (Unicorn, dragon, chimera, etc.) unless he would be able to find one and 'bond' with it.

Regeneration: Damien heals at a much heighten pace than regular humans normally. He will heal a little when he shifts forms, however tires him out much more quickly and will eventually stop working if he takes too much damage.

Mkay everything looks alright but the split reads 3 for shifting and 2 for regen when you put 6 for ability. Just wanna make sure if that is not a mistake and you mean 3 on the regen or something else.
