A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by Dustin Waugh August 29th 2012, 11:49 am

Hello people of Los Angeles. Today it is currently a low of 85 and a high of 98. We have a chance of 79% chance of rain to cool things down. Thats all for now stay tuned for our afternoon brodcast. Sweet dustin said as he listened to the radio blare off. He had forgot to turn it down because he was listening to music and the thing was only a pain now. I should melt your ass but this time it was my fault for leaving you that loud, Dustin said as he rubbed his head. Dustin looked outside looking at the trollies and the sea and everyone moving around. Today was rather quiet do to the heat noone wanted to come outside. But that was just the thing that Dustin wanted was heat he just was not a fan of the incoming weather.

He ready himself for today grabing clothes and putting them on and grabbing his phone and keys and heading out the door. He locked the door behind him and he could feel the heat coming of the ground, the sun, and the heat that was in the air. He took one deep breath which turned into a yawn and then he set off. He walked down the side walk all the way to a cafe that was on the corner of the street. He walked in and handed the cdounter lady a 10 asking at the same time for a mocha latte and a few donuts. He went over to a table and sat down leaning back laying his head on the back of the seat.

He waited there until they were done with his order.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by ghost August 29th 2012, 12:21 pm

Lance staggered into a cafe on some corner street. The night had been hard on him. Party at one bar then another at a different one, surprising that he was still able to move with his intoxication level. Really, he didn't feel that drunk, but the empty bottles he left laying around might disagree. Maybe he was getting used to the long nights, even tho he was pushing 50 years old.

His feet shuffled over to the cashier, "Coffee." he said. He didn't know how to be more blunt. Maybe by lighting the guys hair on fire. No. That might make him laugh, but not get his point across.. "what does fire have to do with coffee?" he wondered to himself, "they are both hot.." he chuckled. The man behind the cash register looked at him, then Lance noticed he forgot the money, pulling out his wallet from his leather jacket pocket, opened it up and gazed into the emptiness. "how about you get me the Coffee first.." He demanded, then walked over to a table and sat down. Not noticing the kid that was sitting across from him.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by Dustin Waugh August 29th 2012, 11:42 pm

Well then this is unexspecting the for a guy just plumpt his ass in the seat next to him. He looked at the guy and could smell and tell that he was drunk off his ass and it was time for him to hit the hay before he hit the concrete floor. Dustin started laughing as he thought of countless things that was wrong with this picture.

Well hello what is your name if i might ask? Dustin tried asking the hit up man seeing if he could get a response from the drunken r-tard. As soon as he asked also the people at the counter called his number. 224 I repeat 224 food is ready. They said this on the all call. It was stupid because the seats were a whisper away from the counters of the restruant. He walked up about 5 steps and grabbed his food and sat back down with the guy. Now about that question, do you want to answer, asked Dustin hoping for a response. He picked up his Mocha and started to take small sips waiting for the guys response.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Lance's eyes finally noticed the kid next to him. His head was really messed up. But it had been worse, before a word could have come out of his mouth the young man got up and retreaved his drink, sipping on it seemingly waiting for Lance's respons. A glare is all he got, for a moment at least, the thought of flames dancing around the small building kept his mind busy. Then finaly he spoke. "My name is The Jackal of the North.." He responded, trying to freak the young man out, a small attempt to be alone at the table. He was not lieing tho. People in Norway always seemed to refer to him by that name.

Lance looked over to the cashier, getting ready to call his number.

"What your name kid?" He asked. Not really caring. Really he was hopeing to get the kid to pay for his drink. some way. some how. Even for him it was to early in the morning to kill someone. But then again... A smile came to Lance's face.

(sorry for any spelling errors)

This guy had to be over drunk. Dustin did not get that drunk because of his matabilism be so strong. At times he wishes he could but in a case like this it is better to be like he is. A smile came apon this kids face leading to the question how fucking drunk is this kid seriously he could probally put an elephant on its ass. Knowing this kid he probally would not be able to make it home without help so he decided it would be best for him to stay at his house so it would take one drunken crazed fool off the streets.

He handed the waitress money for the both of them and then asked, Kid are you going to make it home or do you just want to sleep at my house because right now you look like shit and I dought you could make it a few more feet before falling out. He told the kid the truth because even as a super Dustin could drink alot but he knows when ever it is the limit for others and this guy was at that point.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by ghost August 30th 2012, 10:50 am

Noticing that the kid didn't answer his question kinda made Lance frustrated, but those feeling went away when the Kid gave the guy money. A friendly offer. His mind was running, he could remember the hot flushing of whisky going down into his stomach. Memories of Norway not lingering about, children screaming, the air full of cursing and the smell of dead bodies.

When the kid spoke, Lance didn't hold back his laughter. He wasn't sure if he was stupid or just being nice. "I'm no kid, kid. I'm probably older than your parents." Laughter filling the air. "But sure... I'll come home with you." He stood up and grabed his coffee, sipping it, the hot fluid causing flashes of Norway.

"Home agian.." He thought then moving his hand to the door, symbolically saying, "you first."

The hope that the kid was rich rang though Lance's head. Maybe he could steel somthing in the morning, then strap the kid to a bed and burn the building now.. but this was speculation.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by Dustin Waugh August 30th 2012, 11:16 am

As Dustin was sitting in the booth he seen that the guy accepted the favor to go and take some rest at his house. Good other wise I would strap him to the floor so he did not do anything reckless. He got up with the guy and followed him to the door. He was clearlly not as drunk as he may have thought especially being able to remember to get the door for people. Or his drunk side might be more of a gentleman than sober, but it did not matter.

Ohh thanks and to answer your question my name is Dustin. I usually dont meet people like you. Dustin said with a false grin. He was really good at faking emotions, because he did not want people thinking he was odd for not laughing at a joke they said or not being sad do to a couple hundred slaughtered people in the heep of war. He walked out the held door and began to start walking. Come on my house is this way.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by ghost August 30th 2012, 10:30 pm

The weather was nice. Heat. Good stuff to Mr. Inferno.

Lance's eye's darted across the street. "F*&^.." He whispered to himself. A gangster from one of the parties followed him to the Caffee. It was a little early for someone like that to be up right now, at least for how drunk the guy seemed to be, but loseing a chick and a few dollars might make it hard to sleep. Thinking about it made Lance smile, but he really didn't want to blow his cover with this kid. Showing him that he has a power might not go over well. "But I can always find a bank.." He thought.

The Gangster came across the street quickly, moved in for a punch. Lance let the guy think he didn't realize he was there, till the last moment at least. The man wore a black bandana and attacked from behind, "like a woman" Lance thought, then turned, lifted up his left hand to block a wide right hand punch, slamed the man in the face with his other hand, and as soon as his body hit the floor, flames burst from around the attacker. The man was dead as soon as the flames touched his body, "too hot?" Lance thought sadly. He missed the screaming.

The smell of burning flesh tho made Lance smile. "Today is actually better than I thought" He said to the kid and kept walking. Not really expeting the kid to follow, but if he does.. cool.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by Dustin Waugh August 31st 2012, 12:01 am

He continued to walk back to his house talking to the guy. Yeah today is a really nice day, it is acctually one of my best days because i like the heat so much. Dustin said this with excitment because he the super heated air around him made him really happy. To bad a building wasn`t burnning he would probally go sit around in the flames and leave before the thing colappsed. Dustin sighed, until he smelt the smell of burning flesh. He hurried and looked at the other guy but he did not seem to be on fire. Dustin was down wind, but also unaware of the body. He thought someone is just having a bad day today. Dustin sighed again, Why cant that be me, I want to be set on fire, lucky people, he said this in a mumble.

Dustin looked up to the far left and seen his house. About time we get here; it always seem to take longer getting here than it does going anywhere. Retarded house im going to burn you one day, Dustin was thinking all this in his head so he did not reveal himself to the other guy. Dustin walked up the steps and unlocked the door and held it open. Well here we are my house just come in and sleep were ever, Dustin said to the new guy.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by ghost August 31st 2012, 9:29 am

Lance nodded his head in agreement. There was a part of this kid that he liked, not sure what it was tho, he thought about it while they walked. Then he noticed his looking across the street. "Must be here.." he thought then followed Dustin.

He held the door open so Lance could walk through. "Maybe a good slave" Lance thought of what he could do with the kid. "Nice place you got here... DUSTIN" He said before really looking around, and almost forgot his name.

Lance found a couch and started to take a quick nap. His eyes where just about to close when someone started pounding on Dustin's door. It was more gangsters, they must have missed what happened to the other guy. Lance just smiled and waited for Dustin to open the door; When he does he would see five armed gangsters, one with an uzi and the others with hand guns. The one with the Uzi tries to punch Dustin once the door is open.

Lance thought about how stuip the human race could be, "All of this over a lady and ten bucks?" Lance knew they where being followed, Gangsters where nothing when compared to CIA agents, the word, "Covert" was not in their vocab.

A Hot Yet Cloudy Day Empty Re: A Hot Yet Cloudy Day

Post by Dustin Waugh August 31st 2012, 10:33 pm

He seen the guy go and layed down on the couch. Well that was fast because Dustin was going to fix them something to eat. He made up his mind to fix something and before he stepped in the kitchen a loud knock flustered apon the door. Wow so soon and who could it be?

Dustin walked over to the door and peeked through the eye piece inserted through the door. What he saw was five guys and they were all armed. Hey I`m stepping out for a little chat with some people. Be right back. Dustin cloaked himself in a masked colorless energyshield to make it unown he had it on.

He opened up the door and as soon as he did a fist came right for him. Once it made contact with his energy field it melted and set on fire. The others awwed in fear and started to back off. He snapped his fingers and immediatelly they all turned to ash right before his eyes. Well at least it was quick and humain as possible. He opened the door and uncloaked himself while walking in. It was just some miss guided people, but they are gone now. Dustin said this while he stepped back in the kitchen. He did not know what the guy wanted so he looked around until he found something. Hey do you want pizza, toppings your choice?
