Costume Description/Image: Textured metallic with highlights of light gray. Arms are shelled with rounded robotic features. Chest and legs are metallic with intricate highligheted designs that appear to be random in pattern.

Personality: Calm suppressed intensity. Given to homicidal fits of silence. A socially inept hermit type hero who prefers to kill and let someone else ask the questions later. Has no pity for those he sees as unfit to participate in civilized society. A bit of a hypocrite in this regard as he sees himself in this same light. Prefers to work at a distance and is at a considerable disadvantage in close combat.

History: As many heroes/villains, born in a lab. A robotics and genetic research genius, has learned the secrets of life working in seclusion. Tests performed to help cure a particularly nasty strain of flesh eating bacteria went wrong, consuming his test subjects and transforming them into mounds of indiscernable masses of tissue. As it turns out, the genetic code used in his experiments was taken from his own body, and was unfit for another host. In an attempt to end his own life, he implemented his cure on himself with unexpected results. Aduro wishes for death, but cannot find it.

Powers: The tech suit worn by Aduro regenerates his body from his genetic code. Very difficult to kill, the Dark Phoenix can recover as long as a single cell is intact and the mechanism containing this information has a power source (solar, electric, static, wind, heat, water, etc). The device is organic and self-healing as well and can lay dormant using minimal power to sustain any living cells. This recoverability allows him to exert enormous amounts of energy without tiring. In addition, the cybernetics employed enhance Aduro's ability to use his pistol, an FN Five-Seven to amazing accuracy and fire rate. Removal of the device is not an option as the old Aduro will die being replaced by what he fears will be a new Phoenix who may not be as well adjusted.

Roleplay Sample: Sorry. New to this and not sure if this is what you want: What time is it now? 3:06 AM. How many months has it been since he has slept. The need to rest no longer exists. The madness is starting to creep in. Is his humanity still intact? Has he died and been reborn? His memories are intact. Memories are the only hope he has that he is still himself and not a regenerated, reanimated monster. Purpose. Purpose is what he needs. This thought brings him comfort because this links him to his humanity. He must search out his purpose. This gift, or curse will be lifted with his demise, but it is not within his power to bring it about. A greater power must be sought out, but he must be sure. He cannot leave his obliteration to chance. It must be complete, it must be certain. This power cannot be found in the jungle. Word of conflict in the world reaches even here. He departs his village to seek out his end at the hands of a great and terrible power.
