Personality:
He has no shame, no conscience, no sense of empathy or humility. He does whatever he wants to do, and doesn't play well with others. He doesn't view himself as a criminal, nor is a hero. Not even a renegade. He's in it for himself. He'll only work for others if it benefits him. He's intelligent and fearless. His arrogance could very well be his undoing, however.

History:
Little is known about Johnny Vinte. Not in the whole "dark, brooding, mysterious past" kind of way, but simply because he seems to float from city to city, never leaving much to remember him by - except a trail of blood. His nomadic lifestyle goes back to his youth, where he moved from foster home to foster home, each time being rejected by his foster parents - his record being with the Terry family for two and a half weeks before they kicked him out. These records are marred by strange occurrences. His foster siblings would accuse him of torturing them, mentally and physically. Multiple foster parents mentioned his inability to obey them and his tendency to . Many of these same people mentioned that they were frightened of him - even when he was as young as 8 years old. This culiminated with the death of two of his foster parents when he was 15. Both parents were found stabbed to death in their sleep. The police suspected Vinte, but there was no hard evidence. The case remains open. Despite being kicked out of various public schools, he graduated and after he legally became an adult - he vanished. No trace of his activity post-school. No jobs on his record, no taxes, nothing. The only thing connected to Johnny Vinte, are a slew of police reports linking him to the death of hundreds of victims that date back to his 18th birthday. He is now in his 40s.

One thing is common in all his victims: They are all raped and beaten beyond recognition. And by "they", I don't just mean women.

Powers: Johnny Vinte has no special powers, but he is incredibly smart, cunning, and an incredible hand-to-hand combatant.

She screamed as she turned the corner and saw that in front of her was nothing but a flat brick wall - she was trapped. As she spun around, she shrieked as she saw him. Johnny Vinte. Dressed as dark as the night itself. He took a few steps forward towards her, and she cowered into the wall, turning into a blubbering mess, his shadow cascading over her.

"Please, I'll give you everything I have on me" she spluttered out between tears.

Johnny smiled.

"You're sweet, but you see, there's nothing you can give me... that I can't just take myself"

His small blade glinted in the moon's light as he pulled it out. She shrieked again and he grabbed her hair, putting the blade to her neck. His face inched right in front of her face.

"Don't struggle. It hurts less."

Her tears continued to stream down her face, and she heard the sound of his pants unzipping. She screamed for help. He cut her throat. He let her go and she collapsed onto the floor, blood trickling out of her neck as she drew her last, blood-drenched breath. Johnny smiled, put the blade up to her skirt, and cut it open. He chuckled softly to himself and casually pulled down his pants.
