Personality: Laid-back, sarcastic and a bit cocky, tries to be at least somewhat friendly to those who have never wronged him.

History: Bart's father, Carl Harris, was once a highly regarded scientist who worked with radiation. He claimed to have found a way to control mutation, and make custom super-soldiers. He was told by his superiors not to pursue this path, for it was unethical, requiring that a baby be subjected to large amounts of radiation while still in the womb. Carl refused to listen, and eventually went as far as kidnapping a pregnant woman. He was caught before he had the chance to experiment on her, add he was immediately fired and arrested. He managed to escape custody and start a new life elsewhere as Kyle Thompson, but his days as a scientist were far from over. Using his new identity, Carl became a high school science teacher. Eventually, he married a young math teacher named Jillian Morton, who became pregnant shortly after the marriage. Carl, unbeknownst to his new wife, had been working in secret to perfect his controlled mutation theory, using their basement as his laboratory. About three months into Jillian's pregnancy, something went wrong in that basement. There was a horrific explosion, killing Carl and hospitalizing Jillian. The doctors were amazed to find no damage to the unborn child. Not long after, Carl's true identity was discovered, and Jillian was shocked to find that she was merely an experiment. She went through severe depression and nearly killed herself, but she could not bring herself to end her child's life before it started. Unfortunately, Jillian never had a chance to meet her son, as she died giving birth. Her last word was Bart's name.

The orphaned Bart was put up for adoption shortly after being born, but when his powers began to manifest, he was taken in by an unknown agency for experimentation. The scientists trained Bart to control his abilities. Bart was also given a complete high school education by the time he was ten years old. He then began training to become a super-soldier, as was the intention of his father's original experiments. This provided him with training in the use of various weapon types. Over the years, Bart learned more and more about the outside world. At age 17, he decided it was time to see it.

Powers: Shape shifting, though he never completely changes his form, only manipulates parts of his body at a time (example would be if he's in a fight he could turn an arm into a sword or other weapon, or he could make a lockpick from his fingertip, etc.). He also has a photographic memory and slight regenerative healing, and is trained in the use of various weapon types.

Roleplay Sample: It was lunchtime. Bart played it like any other day, ordering a hamburger, fries, and cola. As he pretended to look for a seat among the assorted scientists, one of them called his name. It was Dr. Fine, the closest thing to a father Bart had ever known. The seat next to him was empty, other than Dr. Fine's hand patting it in invitation. As Bart approached the doctor, he recalled their last encounter, during which they made the final preparations for his escape. "How's the burger, Bart?" It was code for "Are you ready?" Bart replied with, "Good, how's the wife?" "Never better," answered the doctor. It was now or never. "If you'll excuse us doctors, I must speak with young Bart here in private." The co-conspirators left the table and retreated to an empty corner of the room. "Here's my I.D. card, it should get you through the security. Leave it -- " Bart cut him off, "Outside by the big sign, I know. Thanks for everything... and I'm sorry." The doctor was confused, "Sorry for what?" "This!" As he replied, Bart sucker-punched Dr. Fine and fled the cafeteria, following the map he had memorized weeks before. An alarm began to sound just as Bart neared the exit. A lone guard stood between him and freedom. Bart slowed to a walk and began approaching the guard, who was raising his pistol. He then began slowly increasing his size, and the guard began to tremble. Bart stopped just a few feet short of the guard and pulled his fist back, as if readying a punch. The guard quickly dropped his gun and ran. Bart smiled, returned to his normal size, and ran out of the building and into his new life of freedom.
