They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
The attack itself didn't happen too long ago, but it was coming on strong. No way the Coast Guards could hold against the might that slammed against them for long, from what he heard anyway. infact it seemed they were losing already, and that was not a good sign in the least when it came down to it. Sean was unsure how long Brooklyn would last against the onslaught that was set against them by the mad Doctor Necrodium with his uncertain agenda. Though Sean had to make a guess at what is was, though it seemed like an uncertainty. Infact he was planning to use the day to catch up with a friend who didn't plan to have him do menial chores. Go and maybe eat some ice cream or something. Though that was of course an impossibility when things came down to it. There never was a calm day in the hell hole of New York, and yet he insisted on living here.
Actually he was in the middle of lunch when the attack grew more intense, and people began to retreat from the water. He was dressed in his casual clothing, along with an an old friend of his Aaron Hale. Though he wanted to ignore the carnage and simply enjoy the day, which seemed unlikely, very unlikely indeed. "Couldn't a crazy ass villain chose another day to unleash a doomsday plan?" Sean muttered licking on a cone of chocolate ice cream somewhat angrily. Aaron only laughed at how childishly he acted towards the situation. Though he understood the severity of the situation all too well. A laugh was never a bad thing when chaos struck.
"It's not that bad Sean. Maybe you can show off and be a big hero to New York like you've always wanted to be?" He suggested, smoothly eating his scoop of vanilla. Knowing that Sean would follow some sort of moral compass and join the fight in the end anyway, even if he didn't want to. Thats just the type of guy he really was, and why he could be a great hero like that pain guy if he tried. Even if he wasn't a hulking super guy. Aaron looked towards the shore as gunfire seemed to grow seemingly rarer, which was not a good sign. The troops would soon be overwhelmed. "Looks like they might need your help. Go on Sean, you know you want to." He teased raising a blonde eyebrow. Throwing a sheathed katana on the table infront of the young man across from him.
Sean looked at the unbreakeable sword, wiping a strand of black hair from his eyes. The weapon was followed by a bag full of supposedly his weapons. "Get to work hero boy." He said simply, smirking.
"What are you my boyfriend?" Sean muttered, holstering the pistols before strapping them to his leg as well as the remote explosives in his arsenal. Followed by three syringes of healing syrum to his waist, next to the grenades and various orbs. Blade strapped to his back, at the ready to be used.
"Maybe." He answered simply, though Sean blushed to himself in response before finsihing preperation. Wiping invisible dust from his blue checked over shirt and white undershirt. As well as his black jeans that weren't too tight, but didn't leave too much slack. They were just the right size for him. With everything set, he was off to the shore. "Try not to die."
"Yeah I won't." he sarcastically replied before making his way to the scene, which was a decent distance from where he was. Chocolate ice cream forgotten on the table. The Coast Guard didn't take too kindly to his appearence, but all he had to do was tell them who he was, and they let it slide. Only because they needed all the help they could get. With that taken care of Sean approached the one in charge, a battle hardened veteran with close cropped blonde hair. He seemed to be nervous and that wasn't a surprise.
"So, what information can you offer me on the enemy? Any special abilities at all?
"They seem to be zombies of some sort. Bullets don't do much good except to slow them down, unless you shoot them in the head." He said with an undertone of fear to his voice. Sean nodded, frowning at the prospect of fighting zombies. With a sigh, he pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, and lit one with a beaten up lighter. Taking a drag of the carcinogens before giving his opinion on this.
"Shit."

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Jason had been enjoying a nice meal at this little cafe in Brooklyn. He had read over some files of some heroes and villains before sitting down for some lunch. In the middle of drinking some of his Sprite he heard a mass of screaming coming from behind him. Jason took out his wallet and left some money down on the table. When he got outside he was astonished at what he saw. Zombies a mass of zombies coming his direction. He needed to move quick and get anybody that was in danger out of harm's way. "They picked the wrong freaking day to mess with this city.Command!" Jason's body became wrapped in his white and black armor. He had been used to this so many times that he became comfortable with the whole process. He needed to set up a line of defense. The Infiltrator ran over to two cars and picked one up hurling it at the mass of zombies. After throwing one he picked up the other one and threw that one. "I am going to need some help."

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Brooklyn, New York City, New York
10:26 am
Late February 2028
Adam sighed as he sat at his desk in his dorm room. He was growing thoroughly bored with the featureless wait that accompanied his graduation. He had opted to stop procrastinating and just mass apply for his multiple doctorates in Physics, Computer Science, robotics, mathematics, and Engineering. he had slowly been doing all the work for them for over a year and now he had grown bored with the facade he was putting on at Empire University. 10:26 am
Late February 2028
So almost a week prior he had turned in all the work for consideration in all 5 at teh same time and was told that his unorthodox requext was to his advantage because he was the only applicant at the moment. He had been trading emails back and forth with his reviewers with various questions and what not and was waiting for the simple and basic rwesponses of "Yeah...you've got it" from them. So he was entertaining himself by disassembling one of his laptops to make modifications to The Smart Box for a fingerprint scanning program.
Fortunately perhaps for the people of New York, he heard frantic running and pounding out in the halls of the dormitory and the unmistakable screams of panic. never one to ignore implicit cries of fear, the teenage doppleganger went to investigate and quickly got the information that New York City was under attack almost everywhere and that Emergency services had asked the students to report to their residences for their own safety. Of course the mob mentality of college age students had set them into a panic and they were trying to evacuate or posture that they "wished some bad guys would" do any number of hostile things around the school.
Shaking his head, Adam suited up in less than a minute, drawing his blinds and putting in his Division Plugs and activating the Smart Box and started figuring out the situation, splitting into 6 different individuals to speed up the process andlinking midns and thoughts with each of them to correlate all of the information.
The final conclusion was that NYC was about to get fucked.
Assessing the available information the One Teen Army reabsorbed his clones and pulled on his mask. It was time to go to war.

Nearly 5 minutes later, Plural was on his way to Brooklyn using rooftops and car roofs as his primary route as people tried to evacuate the city in a predictably unorganized fashion. It was about to turn into a long day was the only thing that kept coming back to his mind as he saw face after face panic-stricken New Yorkers.
The intel coming from Coast Guard and Naval radio signals had forecast a larger force coming in from the Atlantic than any of the places under attack at the moment. Plural knew that Brooklyn would need his numbers to route the force because even with all the superpowered individuals on the side of justice and the innocent, there was just not nearly enough of them to hold back a three front battle for the city. Even an idiot with littel understanding of his capabilities would be able to point him in that direction.
He had already ignored the call from Phoenix, leader of the Talons, to meet up with the bulk of the team in Queens to fight some sort of aerial battle. He had sent a brief explanation in reply on the grounds he was needed elsewhere.
As he approached Brooklyn Bridge, the first important piece of information managed to voice itself in his ear.
"ZOMBIES!!!!!! THEY'RE FUCKING ZOMBIES!!" The message made itself heard over all othe cries coming over the broadcasted waves.
As he leaped from car to car, The guy who was a bunch of guys, made the title more obvious as he breathed in deep, and began to grow brightly practically exploding into 31 different individuals with the same face. the original was lost in the crowd of superpowered teens asthey split up to go about 20 different ways and start getting people on their way out of the neighborhood before the real fight began.
Zombies...real life zombies. The onl real course of action is to make a blockade to hold them back and take them out in groups until there's nothing left. But what can i make a barrica....Wonder how many taxi's are in Brooklyn and how high of a wall they'd make stacked on top of each other? Guess I'll find out today. Somebody find some blow torches and car tools. Disassembly is required today. And get these people out of here. Let's not find out if these are infection zombies. We have enough problems and there will be plenty of casualties no matter what. Primary targetsfor evac right now are those Coast Guards if we get there in time. Everyone keep moving. The concensus of thoughts of the Cheerleader Brigade was good. At least te 30 of him were on the same page...

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
"Sir!"
A tall boy in a hooded white-and-grey costume ran down the street, followed by a flying cat. He stopped in front of Sean and the commander. His face was unseen behind the large white cowl he wore, with the exception of his mouth and eyes, and he was carrying an assortment of weapons.
"What's the situation?" he said. "Who's attacking us?"
Elsewhere in the city, Nightquill rushed over the rooftops, strengthening his body for the task at hand. Flipping off a roof, he grabbed hold of a flagpole, made a full circle around it, then let go at the next swing's apex, launching himself to the next roof. From there, he looked out at the harbor. Bodies were strewn everywhere... the remnants of the Coast Guard.
Suddenly, he spied a small band of Guardsmen gathered together near the docks. A few heroes were among them.
"They'll need help," Nightquill though aloud before plunging off the building, wall-jumping to reach the ground safely. He sped towards the distant group, unsheathing his claws out of habit.

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Vacation. Who knew vacations could be so damn boring. Andree thought as she readjusted herself in the chair in her apartment building. The blinds covered the windows, casting the room in total darkness. I'm in New York, city of fun stuff. City of fun stuff that just don't appeal to me. She thought to herself as she hurled a knife across the room and into the wall. Walking across the room to retrieve the silver knife, she continued to think to herself Bored, so bored. Her hands worked their way onto the handle and pulled it out of the green hotel wall. She tossed it into the air and threw it with all her strength into the wall once more. After walking over to the wall once more, she pulled the knife from the wall once again. God, why isn't there anything interesting to do? She asked herself as she hurled the knife back into the wall. I need something to think on, to use my mind not just strength. Why isn't there anything fun to do? This city his home to many heroes, villains and petty criminals. None of that seems interesting right now. I doubt many of them could provide anything really fun. Her hand raised to her face to brush a bit of blonde and brown hair out of her eyes. Her red nails ran down her hair. Her other red nails rose and fell in a pattern on the arm of the chair. She picked up the newspaper lying on the oak table next to the chair. quickly, her hand flipped to the crossword page. Six across is apple. Four down is Mahogany. Twelve across is esophagus. Fourteen down is Denmark. Two across is Ebony. Dear God, can they make this any easier? She threw the newspaper at the wall and hurled the knife right after it to lodge it into place. The black and white print was speared into the green wall. All these tasks are so trivial, so tedious, so boring. When will something fun happen? Standing up, she paced in circles around the room. As she paced, a sound reached her eardrums. Screams. Screams of terror. That means that there's finally something fun to do! Quickly, she ran over to the closet and slipped into her black suit. Clipping her gadgets onto her belt, she walked towards the door. No, stupid, you are not going down the elevator like this. Jump out the window. Taking her hand away from the door handle, she walked over to the window and opened it up. Gah! Sun, I hate sun sometimes. Times like this. She thought as she jumped out of the open window. Her cape slowed her descent to the concrete below. Hmm, screaming, zombies, sounds like fun. She thought sarcastically as she grappled up to another building to survey the area. Her mask was able to enhance her vision so she could see far distances. Oh look, it's the one man cheer leader squad. Andree thought to herself after seeing a man split himself up into multiple people. She ran across the rooftops of the city to go to his approximate location, 31 people would be a lot of help. Her eyes were trained to the water to see the enemy rising from the depths. Oh, that's what we're up against. Fuck. Well at least this is no longer boring. So, how to stop them? I suppose barriers is the obvious answer but out of what is the real question. Taxis? No. I suppose once the area is evacuated we could blow up the supports on one side of a building in order to make it collapse onto the street to create a strong barrier. Hmm, that could work but it may be a bit too destructive. What then? Hmm... if these aren't real people, machines or just zombies, landmines may be a good idea. Set them on the streets as traps on the streets that we can't barricade. I'll have to speak with others before creating a plan of action, no doubt there are others here to help considering that New York is basically the state of superheroes.

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Millenia started to hear what she thought were muffled, distant screams, was she dreaming? No. It couldn't be, the screams were getting closer. What was happening...? Her head hurt and she could not exactly figure where she was or how she even got there. After a moment she began to regain consciousness and tried to open her eyes. Such a simple task was painful right now and still yet she was still wondering where she was. The volume of the screams was still increasing and she now had her eyes half open. Millenia's vision was blurry and she could barely make out the shapes of people. Some were moving fast and other's rather slow... What was going on. Then all of a sudden she was forced into consciousness accompanied by shooting pain in her chest. Looking forward she saw someone on the ground scrambling to get away from something, she figured that they must ave tripped over her... But why were they running, what were they running from. What was happening...
Millenia gathered the strength to roll over and forced her eyes open. It took a moment for her vision to re-focus but once she saw what was happening around, she had wished that this was simply a dream...
If she learned anything from watching movies she knew that this was most definitely a zombie attack. Millenia clumsily stood up, her memory slowly returning. She must have blown herself in this direction with her last attack against that guy.
Damn... How long have I been out...? she thought to herself. Though judging by how much her powers have recharged it must have been quite some time. She used a number of large attacks on those three...
Millenia was still in a slight daze as she walked towards the danger, getting shoulder checked by some of the other people running away from the situation. She took a look at herself in the reflection an abandoned car window was giving. She looked like hell. Her clothes were torn and scorched, her hair was falling and messy, and of course her makeup was smeared.
Alright Millenia, snap out of it. Looks like your day hasn't quite ended yet she thought and gave herself a good slap in the face. Millenia literally shook herself out of it and look forward to the pressing troubles. She made her hand into a gun shape and took aim. Before she fired, a large group of people ran by her atop the cars. Strangely enough, they were all dressed the same. Millenia assumed that since they were heading towards all the danger they must be here to help. Hopefully.
"Dangan."
Tiny, red circular blasts of energy fired off her fingertips as she effortlessly blasted away at the zombies. After a few shots she took note that they were not too effected by anything that was not aimed at their head or legs. Granted they could still pull themselves along with their arms, but that was not too threatening. With that she began blowing the heads and legs off of all the Zombies she could while pressing forward to maybe meet up with the group she saw run by earlier.

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
It hadn't been hard to find out about what was going in New York. The hard bit had been getting there. Gracie had been all the way in Chicago when she had picked up the army radio transmission. It had been incredibly weak and it had only been by chance that she had actually heard anything at all. Strengthening the signal could have alerted them to the fact someone was listening to the fact they thought New York was going to fall. Brooklyn had been the only clear name she had got from the fuzzy communication but she had no doubt that there were other places under threat but she didn't have time or the nerve to find out the other places. The army was one beast Grace would not cross - if they caught her snooping.... Well. The army was definitely something she was happy to leave to the professionals. Besides, there were a lot of other people to hack and get information from. The temptation of hacking the army computers, however, was niggling at the back of her mind. When she was older and had numerous places she could run and hide… Well then she would think about dabbling in their files. The F.B.I was also on her ‘future hack’ lists. It wouldn’t be hard to get in; it would be hard to go undetectable. It wouldn’t surprise her if a superhero had created the system – some ultra-mastermind. She was set on Brooklyn.
Gracie had packed a bag and set off the next day. The only problem was getting there. Flying had seemed like the best possible option but getting a ticket at such short notice proved disastrous. She refused to hitch-hike again after the Danny fiasco resulting in her first kill and so she was faced with the disastrous public transport journey. It took her over 21 hours. Exhausted Gracie dropped into her hotel bed and dumped her two large bags carefully on the floor. One bag was full of her kit – bullet proof trousers, her steel toe capped boots with the knife holders, bullet proof army like vest, her pistols and a quality riffle she had wrestled off of one of the gang members in Chicago. The other bag contained the essentials – clothes, bathroom things, laptop and her converses. She hadn’t wasted much time however and neither had the threat. She was in a hotel close to the sea which was hurling itself hard against the beach. The energy was all wrong along the coast and it made her head spin. The odd powers which had taken her over when she was 16 years old were a constant throne in her side – they either worked then gave her a serious headache or they weren’t strong enough. Rolling to her feet she grabbed the kitbag and got changed. 10 minutes later she had a coffee and was trudging along towards a coastguard and a boy who looked close to her age and another boy standing rather close to him. The riffle was slung over her back as she trudged through the sand, hair tied up and back from her face.
“What’s the situation?” she asked calmly, professionally, while tugging on her gloves with built in knuckle busters. She also glanced around to the other people emerging. Raising her voice for them she spoke louder.
“If you’re a civilian I’d advise getting as high above ground as possible. If you can help then I’d advice you come and listen to.”

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Sean surveyed the scene with an air of interest, as the zombie hordes approached in a monotonous gait. Letting out loud inhuman moans that could cause the blood of the most tempered man into ice, though Sean was facing the horde with a calm that didn't seem human. It seemed he was alone with the human army personel, which would work out with the right use of force. Guns could go a long way if used correctly, but he wasn't sure how well these people could even use their weapons. Sure they were military, but headshots seemed to be the only effective means to kill the oncoming hoards. Though decapitation might work as well, not that hes tried it yet. Sean was one step from rushing to meet the great horde when he heard another person jump into the frenzy. As well as a young looking woman around his age, if not younger.
He raised an eyebrow, lip curling into a sneer as more milled into the battle. A man throwing a car into the undead masses, as well as someone using a strange form of magic. The more th merrier though right? He wasn't bothered by the sudden influx of people interested in helping New York, which was actually a god send of sorts. His hand drifted from the handle of the blade hanging off of his back, as he looked over the people arriving to help. The army was still firing away at an almost implacable crowd, moving even as the bullets collided with them."Well, its nice to see i'm not the only one." Sean muttered unholstering a pistol as he aimed at one fot he undead, and fired a round into its head dropping it. His head jerked to examine the path of the zombies, though they seemed focused on feasting on human flesh. Typical movie depiction then?
Though whatever the case was, he would be dealing with an unknown number of hostiles. "So, does anyone have a plan minus slaughtering them. That never works on zombies." Sean muttered, shooting another in the head as it fell back gurgling. Blood pooling around its head, another takings it place in the ever growing hoard. Looking down the barrel, he waited for another good shot to come into sight. Tongue loling out the side as he waited until another bullet buried its way into a zombies head. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw what seemed like a hoard of young men who were dressed the same.
" Is this my birthday?"

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
The Infiltrator has now been locked into to battle mode. His main job was to stop this zombie attack before it got on any further. Out of the side of his helmet he could see some magic of some sort be fired from somebody to the side of him or behind him. The Infiltrator then heard somebody ask about their plan of attack. He had a plan but knew it would be a long shot for whoever was helping them out. "We push these zombies into the water hopefully drown them or they will keep reforming." The Infiltrator took out a grenade and put it into a car that had been left behind and threw it into the horde of zombies. He took the two guns off out of his side pocket and began shooting zombies in the head one by one in a crouched position. "This shit cray!" He yelled to himself.

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
The hoard of blond superheroes skidded to a stop as they were about to broach the beachfront , leaving only 4 of them to hop the fence and slide to a stop next to the others. The remainder began picking up cars and flipping them over and stacking them like a child does with legos. It was plain to see that it was the beginnings of a well designed and stable wall of the vehicles. Every street for as far as the eye could see, had at least a pair of Plurals working quickly to make the wall. Clearly the young duplicator had a plan.
As the group moved around, one of the clones approached the disheveled woman firing the energy blasts from her fingertips.
"Hey! Ma'am are those hot? Like would you mind helping us out here? If you could help us weld the cars together in a few places or something, it would help a whole lot. Don't worry the rest of me are going to round up everyone else in the area and coordinate our efforts because from my initial scans, our defenses are incredibly thin here. I think as far as super humans go there are only a few of us over here and others are....yeah, there are other metahumans but they're busy everywhere else except Manhattan right now so I think what we see is what we get for now." the clone ushered, pausing to scan the information being reported in the other burroughs of NYC.
The original teenage genius was among the four to run onto the beach and take a place next to the others on the sand. A cursory look over those assembled let Plural put together a more concise plan in moments. He was within earshot to hear some questions about a plan and then the subsequent answer from some armor clad soldier type. The series of comments made him want to frown as he approached the others.
"I have aplan and as you can see, I have experience coordinating a large group in a combat situation, so if you're ALL willing to listen up and follow my instructions I think we can do this. First of all we are not going to be attempting to Drown zombies. By definition, they're dead and thus have no need to draw breath, which is obvious since they just WALKED OUT OF THE OCEAN. That aside, it's simple I'm going to split us into two groups to achieve the same goal. From what I saw running here from the other end of the bridge, this is all we can spare for this section of the city so our intention is not going to be to destroy....You two, go retrieve the Coast Guard guys that are still alive please," he began drawing the attention of those who were obviously heroic or military before designating two of the three clones he had dragged with him to go save the few remaining lives of the servicemen," Sorry. Now as I was saying, the goal is not to destroy all the zombies but to hold that line back there. Civilians are still evacuating and if we get pushed back into the city streets, the walking dead will elude us and get into the rest of the city and everyone will get overrun before they know it. So the first goal is to build a wall out of cars and whatever else we can find that can be replaced. While the first group is doing that, the others work to slow down and distract the shambling hoard. You, Deluge, are integral to that portion. Your job is simple. Two things. Use the water to roil the sand on that beach and fuck up their footing. If they can't walk, they can't get closer to us. The second is along the same lines. Everyone of those things has water filled lungs and if you push it back, they go with it so keep them from over running the second group and getting to the wall before the first group is done. You military guys, dude in the armor and the guy with the claws are going to whittle down their numbers. Headshots and joint shots only, dismember them, decapitate them and get rid of them. Um then you with all the weapons and the black woman, are going to help build the wall. We found a few blow torches and stuff to make sure the cars stay in place a little better. Or if it appeals to you more you can stand guard over the non powered people who are going to stand on top of the wall of cars back there and fire away... You'll basically be helping to pick off any of the zombies that get past the other guys and helping the other team. Can everyone handle that. There's a couple of other women back there. One on the roofs and the other is shooting some concussive force bolts from her hands so don't be alarmed. If we watch each others backs we can all make it out of this alive so let's get to it. And don't kid yourselves today guys. This is war, casualties are going to happen and we don't have intelligence about the other side. These things are numerous but clearly mooks, so there is definitely going to be another wave because, these wouldn't be enough to take out the navy so keep your eyes open. If you need to get word to any of the others, just talk to one of me and I'll relay the message. The name's Plural and I'd be honored to fucking live through today because I have no intention of dropping dead anytime soon so let's go to work boys and girls."
As the original laid out the plan for everyone assembled, his mind was multitasking on over drive, monitoring the positions and progress of all of the other clones as they built the barricade that was Brooklyn's saving grace or rescued the remaining twelve Coast Guard members from certain death, ripping off chainsaw arms from zombies and using them to cull the hurd to cut a path for them to make it back to the small group of heroes. He was keeping tabs on the goals of the army of undead and the topographical view of Brooklyn being broadcast by a lone news helicopter filming live for the world to watch the plight of so called "Greatest City in the World" as it struggled to remain standing.

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Gracie was kind of relived someone else was taking charge - she had been the mission planner in her small gang but that had been organising petite things like trashing an animal testing unit. Besides she was only 17 years old. Her eyebrow raised slightly though when the man called her 'black woman'. Her hands slid to her hips but she didn't interrupt until he had finished with his idea. it sounded like an alright plan to be honest and her eyes moved to the man in the white suit curiously - so he was who she was going to be working with to kill these zombies? He looked like he could use a gun. Working with an American with a gun who didn’t know right from wrong was dangerous – she’d come across enough trigger happy men. The small group which had gathered in the lull of the assault were all there were to defend this city. Her heart began to sink very slowly before glancing to the water where it was beginning to churn, probably generating the next wave of corpses which would be attacking them soon.
“I can buy us bit of time to get the wall up and to help get the civilians out of the way,” she said slowly and glanced around the face before clearing her throat and stepping through the small circle of people. Raising her hands she faced them palm outwards and the lights of the city behind them began to flicker and row by row the houses began to blink out. As they did a wave of blue energy shot from the palms of her hands and shot out in two directions forming a large electrical barrier. An early zombie ambled ahead of his fellows whose shadows were visible under the waves half a mile off. The living dead creature hit the barrier and was hurled back into the waves by a large shock created from the contact.
“I don’t know how long it’ll hold,” she scrunched her nose up and turned back. “But it should give us time to set up a decent wall and several fighting positions set up. It’s probably better to fight in the groups you suggested from behind the wall of cars we can make,” she shrugged. “I’ve made it so you can slip through the barrier this way, but you won’t be able to get back through unless I drop the shield and until there is a wall up I don’t want to put it down before I have to. So unless you feel like you want to risk that then or you can throw power bolts from afar, it’s probably better to help with the wall, we’ll need it to be quite long,” she pushed the strap further on her shoulder. “Come on Guns,” she nodded to a line of cars. “Let’s make a start.” And with that she headed towards a large truck with determination.

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Jayce poked his tongue out of his mouth a bit as he worked on welding the cars together.
"Steady, my boy," Arinth said as he watched from his nearby perch.
"Alright, master," Jayce said, finishing the job with ease. He cupped one hand around his mouth in a tube and focused a stream of carbon dioxide at the smoldering chemical bond... which is to say, he blew on the metal to cool it down.
"Alright," he said, standing up. "We can only hope that it'll hold."
As he headed towards the next welding area, Jayce thought about the other heroes that were elsewhere in the area... Plural, creating a well-thought out plan and doing his part in it; Deluge, helping to keep the zombies in the ocean; the two women behind this barricade some where, one firing projectiles and the other running across rooftops; even The Infiltrator and that kid Nightquill, who were doing their best to decrease the horde. He also thought of his partner in this welding mission. All he could tell was that she was his age. But so many other questions remained unanswered. Who was she? He hadn't asked her name. What were her ideals? Hadn't asked that either. Why did she...
"TO YOUR RIGHT!!" Arinth screeched in a terrified tone.
Jayce swiftly drew his rapier and swung hard to the right, dismembering the stray zombie quickly. Infected pus and blood squirted out of it like gooey melted cheese.
Jayce grimaced in disgust. "Whoever it is that's pulling the strings of this demented puppet show," he said, wiping his sword off on a strip of fabric, "they must be an extremely evil man if they did something as terrible as dig up graves in order to create these things."
Returning the rapier to its sheath, Jayce continued working on the wall.

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Twisting the small device in her ear, Mockingbird listened in on what was being discussed by the people below her. She wasn't going to go down to them if they were being boring, waste of time. The device in her ear picked up the sound of a man's voice coming from a suit down below. You have got to be joking. Is he a complete idiot? Is this my help? Retards? This is too stupid to ignore. Mockingbird dived over the edge of the tall, glass building and tucked in her cape to increase her speed. As she approached the ground, she opened up the cape to slow her fall. Her feet made absolutely no sound as she walked over to the man in the white armoured suit. "Are you retarded? A six year old can come up with a better plan. Do you not notice the fact they are walking out of the water? Not running, not swimming, walking. Yes, attempting to drown them will do so well. IT's people like you that make me lose a bit of faith in humanity. Now, if you have a medical condition to explain this stupid plan, that's a different story. But from what I can tell, you do not have one. Therefore, you make me lose faith in humanity. But that's enough of that, the apocalypse has arrived in New York." She snapped at him with sarcasm dripping from her voice during certain parts of what she said. "And as for you," Mockingbird said as she turned her attention to the one man cheer leading squad. "That sounds pretty good, actually." Her arms moved as she addressed the two men, a habit she had developed. "Yeah, dropping dead isn't on my to do list today either." She finished, her voice had been modified the whole time she spoke to a slightly mechanical tone, almost like the ones that killers on TV use to disguise their voice. "I don't take orders from people, but this is a special occasion seeing as armageddon is raining down on New York. Seeing as you made the plan, Plural, where do you think I should go?" Her hands moved up to make sure the hood stayed up to hide her face as she spoke. "Also, I'm Mockingbird, Mock or whatever's easiest for you guys."

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Things were picking up. A couple more individuals joined the scene and with the plethera of abilities they had at the moment, it did not seem as if they were at the disadvantage. The large group of people that had passed her earlier she now discovered were just copies of one person, she noticed this when one of them asked her if her energies were hot so that she could weld some cars together in order to create a wall. Another one of the clones were giving out orders, also mentioning a wall. Millenia saw that another female was conjoring up a wall and decided to be a little dramatic. She sprinted to where she saw the magical wall coming up and jumped over it. The wall went up and she was stuck on the other side for the time being. Millenia figured that she would be best for something headstrong like this since she could probably endure the most of all the people that were there at the moment. She looked at the zombies a head of her andWhen one of the zombies walked into it, it was forced back completely. The creator of this wall did however make a note that she was unsure on how long she could sustain this powerful force field. Then again, Millenia did not know entirely how long she would last on the flip side. She turned and called back to the others on the other side whether they could hear her or not. She did want to at least be remembered by someone in case she didn't make it.
"My name is Millenia Murcielago for all those curious. I will do my best to hold them off from this side while you all work on your side."
She turned back around and held her hands up in front of her body, fingers spread and palms facing in. She took a deep breath in and dozens of small orbs of blue energy began to glow and appear. Millenia then extended both her arms out so that they were parallel to the ground and her palms were facing the incoming wave of zombie. The glowing dots then extended down the beach, the dozens turning into hundreds.
"Nihilum Apparatus Impendum!"
With that command the coast line exploded forward with an unimaginable amount of power, the hundreds of energy blasts all firing at full power. There was not a single gap between any of the blasts, giving a solid blue backdrop to those on the other side of the barrier. The sky was filled with a deep blue color and the light from the energy only allowed for Millenia's silhouette to show. She pushed the attack forward for as long as she could stand and after a near minute of continuous fire she brought her arms in and fell to one knee. The sky returned to its natural color and the beach front could be seen again, the water steaming from the heat that the attack had given off. There was even now a noticeable downgrade from where she stood, her attack had altered the terrain itself.
Millenia was breathing heavily, but could still press forward. She took this opportunity to catch her breath again because she had a feeling that even after that large of an attack, they were still not done...

Re: They all fall down.( Defenders of Brooklyn post here to receive your assignments.)
Another bullet found itself in the head of an unfortunate zombie, whos origins still made him wonder. Were they made through a virus, or by some madmans design? Either way he didn't want to let them get too close, because they would of course try to eat him. Though of course he had to clean off his cig, which was gathering to much ash at the end for his taste. Though instead he spat it against the ground, as the burning end hissed against moist sand. Though he was of course listening to Plurals long winded plan, which seemed thought out, but pretentious. Why should he follow the orders of a rather attractive blonde you ask? Thats what he asks himself everyday. This wouldn't be anything new really, even though his mother had trained him to lead. Sean just didn't lead. He just killed shit with water really.
"Cute plan, i'll go along with it." Sean said with a toothy grin, though of course he had one more thing to say. One zombie got a little too close, though Sean propelled it clear across the beach with a thought, sending it sprawling. "Names Deluge for anyone who doesn't know." He looked at everyone except Plural. Sean was preparing for his epic sweep of the beach for zombies, which would be epic of course. When a bright flash of light caught his eyes. Bringing them to the spectacle that Millenia had started, as zombies under the powerful attack disenegrated into a black ash. Whoever she was had to be a powerful magician of some sorts, Sean would have to learn what type of magic she used. Though of course considering how well he could use combat magic besides his own, that had a very low chance of working.
So instead he would have to deal with the wave of zombies who were encroaching upon his location with a speed nearly at a crawl, though some were actually running. Was this Left 4 Dead or something? Should he expect a Tank to rise from the water and try to slam them against the wall. Wait, what wall? Though his train of thought was interrupted by a zombie coming close to ripping into his throat, though it was met with a blade of water taking its head off. Instinctivly he felt for his throat, which was unharmed thankfully. Reminded him of that time in new Orleans with that crazy hoodoo/voodoo bitch with her zombie minions or something. Seemed to enjoy going for the throat.
"Well this isn't good at all." He muttered to himself, lips curling into a sneer, as he continued to push the onslaught of zombies backwards, though they only kept coming. Which was a rather counter productive strategy if they were trying to keep people safe from the dangers of zombies. Though he didn't stop what he was doing, though he felt he could have swept these asshole aside by now. Maybe he had a thing for blondes? Maybe he was just stupid? Both were viable answers....except for the stupid part, making only one right. Sean reached into his pocket and lit another cancer stick, fitting it in between his lips. Right now it served more as decoration than anything else. Currently Sean was stopping a horde of zombies from killing everyone, which was a pretty hectic day for him. Damn that Aaron Hale.
