Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Laura Thomas: Spitfire
Real Name: Laura Thomas
Super Hero Name: Spitfire
Title: Speed-Freak
Alignment: Neutral Good
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Race: African-American
Hair: Brown, cut in a short bowl cut.
Eyes: Dark Green
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 120 lbs
Costume Description: Spitfire's 'formal' costume is an armored bodysuit, designed to cushion and protect against blades and blunt impacts although it has little protection against any sort of gunfire. The suit is a dark green as a primary color with white trim at the seams, on the left shoulder is a dark blue circle with a black outline image of a deer within it. When attempting to appear inconspicuous, Spitfire dons padded versions of typical street clothing, jeans, a dark green long sleeved shirt, and a light brown leather jacket.
Personality: Spitfire is actually rather cowardly, often avoiding conflict where she is outmatched and a very firm believer in running to live and fight another day. She is aware of her own strengths but has a tendency to downplay them in her mind. Outside of that, Spitfire is cheerful and often smiling, giving a kind word to those she considers friends. She has violent reactions to spiders and she has a phobia of snakes.
History: Born in New York, Laura was never quite sure what happened to instill powers in her. Her life was a relatively ordinary one, working her way through high school, then working various jobs, coffee shops, manual labour, she never sought out secondary education despite the urgings of her parents. When she awoke one morning, she felt different, strange. She remembers the morning well, that thursday morning in April when her powers had come alive and she woke up feeling as though there was an energy inside of her, some sort of force that she could exert, but not by exercising her muscles.
Laura told her parents of her newfound power in secret but to her dismay, they knew nothing. There was no hidden history, no heritage of powered individuals, no mysterious disappearances, no awakening... It was all a bit of a letdown really, not what she had thought it would be, nothing like the comics. Since then Laura has disappeared from her old life, searching for the source of her powers and fighting crime occasionally along the way, an itinerant do-gooder. She sought out other powered people first, mostly heroes, earning their favor however she could to obtain her bodysuit and her various other bits of hero gear, little as she has.
Powers: To her understanding, Spitfire taps into the energy within her to enhance her own capabilities, even to the point of warping reality slightly to allow her to do so safely. She doesn't fail to manifest the energy when she is making use of her powers and so she thinks at least that her powers are a result of her manifestation of it, allowing her to run so effortlessly fast without suffering from air friction and heal so easily. The power manifests as a fire about her person, tinged with the colors of her emotions. The power heals her extremely quickly when she is injured, as is often the case if she fails to notice an attack or hazard of some sort, healing wounds that she would have sworn should have killed her and yet have left nothing more than a scratch. The power does nothing to enhance her strength or offensive abilities but considering her personality Spitfire is grateful for the focus it it places on her survival and keeping her safe. In summary, her EP gives her high level regeneration, it also allows her to make use of her super speed without burning up.
Power Grid:
STR: 2
SPD: 6
END: 3
INT: 3
EP: 5
FS: 3
Power Grid colours: Green, White
Character Description: Spitfire is a bit too small of stature to be intimidating to any great degree and she likes it that way. Her features are soft and her brown skin transitions nicely into her darker hair, giving her an overall appearance that is almost fragile. A dusting of freckles lie across the bridge of her nose and her green eyes seem to sparkle a little with happiness most of the time, a grin often visible upon her lips even as she goes about her daily activities.
Roleplay Sample:
Laura cringed as she saw the smoke billow out of the tower, shrinking to seem almost smaller than she was normally within the crowd of people who had suddenly turned at the sound of the muffled explosion. Why today... Today was going so well... She looked about, scanning the sky, then the crowd about her, nobody seemed to be hustling off to dark alleyways to change, to blurs of color were heroically swooping towards the building.
In short, she had no excuses not to act.
Please let it not be a supervillain... I can handle guys with guns, maybe even with bombs, can they just have guns and bombs? Her mantra repeating over and over in her head, Laura began to make her way through the crowd, moving away from the building as fast as she could without moving at inhuman speed and ducking into an alleyway, seeing to her relief that it had a left turn that would take her straight to the building in question, smoke still billowing from one of the upper floors.
Laura had already had second thoughts, and then some third thoughts, but she moved forwards regardless. Probably not a supervillain. I really hope it's not a supervillain. She blurred faster, power flaring about her for a second as she crossed the street between the two alleyways at high speed to keep from being spotted by the crowds. She wasn't sure if it would work or not, but it had a decent chance of going okay for her. But seriously. Please no supervillains? She turned her eyes upwards towards the heavens for a brief moment, an instilled habit despite that she never expected an answer to her requests. With a sigh, Laura snuck into the parking garage below the target, her feet crunching on the shards of glass that had fallen from the explosion until she was under the overhang and creeping towards the stairs. Here goes...

Re: Laura Thomas: Spitfire
Healing and shielding are two separate powers. You'll either need to drop one or split them so that each has its own EP.
