As her anthro form, Cass has found it more 'acceptable' to wear clothes when fighting. She's settled with tribal wear--A soft woven half top and bottom. She also wears a snowflake choker even in her human form as a symbol of her old tribe and a gem that keeps her calm and connected to her spiritual 'advisors'.
As a cat, she wears nothing at all.
As a human, Cassandra's actually quite vulnerable. She's tiny and weak. She wears her frost and snowflake choker to help maintain her magic in the human form. She also tends to wear simple attire as any normal 24 year old human would.
Personality: Cassandra is vague and very aloof. She's a caretaker and a fighter--She's very subtle and a naturally gentle spirit. But when taunted or feeling uncomfortable, her inner feline snaps. Around newer people and people in general, Cass tends to hold her head high and think of all humans as inferior beings to herself. Her feelings for the human race are quite negative, as it was a human wizard that tortured her with the horrid curse of even giving her three different forms. Her knowledge of the world is incredible, and she flaunts it too much at times. She's a smartass and knows it. But she's so literate and of 'higher class', that even telling someone off sounds graceful. She holds herself up as royalty and that she deserves respect. To anyone she knows a bit better, she can be a bit of a loner--She's quite the opposite of most, if not all people, in socializing. When she first meets someone, she thinks of it as a chance to strike intimidation into their hearts and show them just how much power or knowledge she has. But once she knows someone well enough, she tends to drift away and only talks when needed to. On the other hand, Cassandra is a bit oblivious to technology and human ways. She's a healer, a mystic, intelligent, and also a fighter at times. But her personality is usually far from hospitable and bold. She prefers to stray in the background, acting as a very soft, aloof, and almost vague mother goose.
History: Cassandra was originally born Cassiopeia of the Xeadian tribe. Princess of the tribe in fact. The Xeadians were a race of hybrids. Lab rats gone wrong, but also right in a sense. The Xeadians were created in a lab. A scientist observed felines for living, big felines to be more specific. He found the cats to have almost human like traits. They were smart, affectionate, social, and seemed to know certain things animals didn’t. They could detect supernatural spirits, when it was going to storm, and also whether or not a person had bad or good intentions. So, he found two people that were seemingly going to commit suicide. He told them to let him experiment on them—So if they died, they’d get their wish, and if they lived, they’d be superhuman. What person DIDN’T want powers? The two people were experimented upon for months. They were fused with different types of feline DNA. But, the scientist became frustrated as nothing seemed to really be happening. The two suicidal humans were no where near feline or super human.
He started to observe changes in their behavior a month later. This was only because, the scientist had decided to stop sugar-coating everything. He’d been giving the two ‘lab rats’ normal, domesticated injections. Finally, he went in for the kill. He took the beauty and grace of the snow leopard, and the power and strength of the tiger and combined their DNA. And with those injections, his two human lab rats became to undergo changes.
The changes weren’t good though . . . The man and woman actually began to die off due to parasites they weren’t able to fight off and the imbalance of certain antigens and blood in their bodies. But, what the scientist did notice was that they WERE in fact acting more feline . . . Every month, his female counterpart didn’t need ‘feminine’ materials anymore for her monthly blood, rather, she was very lusty and suggestive towards the male. And in response, the two people that didn’t really care for each other were inseparable. They complained about bad weather before it happened, and they always seemed to HATE when they had salad for lunch . . . So that was it. The female was going into heat as a female cat would, they knew when storms were coming, and they wanted meat—ALL THE TIME.
So, once they unfortunately died in the process, the scientist began looking into more research, making more tests on little things like rats and frogs. He wanted to see HOW he could ingest DNA and keep the animal alive. And finally, he found an answer: Magic. He had tribal rituals done to his chemicals, DNA, and the little leopard cubs. He had magicians charm and put strengthening spells upon the humans he was experimenting on. And it worked. The humans were injected with charmed and spirit ridden DNA. They began to change—And since they were strengthened and protected by the wizards’ charms, they survived the harsh changes . . .
And thus, the Xeadian race was created. Half human, half snow leopard, and tiger. These mutations had the limbs and bodies of humans, but the massive sizing and ferocity of the tiger, and fur covering their entire bodies. The pattern was that of the snow leopard. Their eyes were either gray, silver, blue, or a soft brown. They had long bushy tails, sharp canines, and powerful muscles. As full grown cats, they ranged from 6”7 to a bit over 7 feet tall. The scientist couldn’t have been more pleased with his work. His obsession and love for the big cats could finally be put into action . . . But of course, after many, many years of working on one project, the scientist grew weary and passed away.
The male and female Xeadians grew smarter. Without their caretaker and master to feed and watch over them, they began to use their HUMAN portion of their brains and found a way to get out of their facility. They ventured out into the wild and began to mate. Upon the mating came litters of new Xeadians. At the time, the Xeadians, though smart, weren’t at their peak of intelligence yet. They hunted as a pack, as they found it more efficient, and lived in dens as real big cats would. Also, they tended to walk on all fours as a cat . . .
But as four or five generations of these massive, intelligent humanoid cats passed, finally, they began to evolve. They found that they COULD stand and use their front paws to grasp things. They found that everyone in their tribe was different and began to grow feelings and emotions—The cats began to love, take mates, and also have drama amongst love affairs. With their new found skills of emotions, mobility, and sense of human morals almost, they also began to think, ‘If we can use our paws to hold and move things, we could maker bigger dens.’ And so they did . . .
Once two or three more generations passed, they were so evolved that they were a talking, intelligent, fully built up ancient tribe. Their dens were much like Indian forts. They cooked their food and had families amongst each other. But with power and peace comes battles and war. Many other tribes were confused about this largely growing population of CATS. And that’s when the war between the Xeadians and humans started. The Indians wanted land. They captured many of the Xeadians to skin them for their thick snow leopard fur. From then on, the Xeadians became more spiritual and learned what prayer was. They called and wailed for their lost brothers and sisters. . .
With the magic and the spiritually infused cells in their bodies, they found that the spirits of their fallen were there all the time. Hidden in the clouds, talking to them discreetly, and always giving them strength in battle. As many tribes, they started having rituals and spiritual beliefs.
Cassandra or Cassiopeia was born to the Alphas of the Xeadians. In her time and age, the Xeadians were striving. They were hidden to humans, highly spiritual, and extremely smart. As many young girls were, Cass was curious about many things her tribe refused to tell her about. She was the princess of the tribe—So from birth, her parents were hard on her and made her be a proper, poised, and regal figure. She never really had much of a childhood like her friends. She was constantly in the healers den, learning herbs, learning chants, and ‘talking to her ancestors’. She never really got to sit down and talk to her parents about her day like the other kits in the tribe got to . . . It was always training, fighting, learning to be a warrior for her tribe.
And like many locked up children, Princess Cassiopeia broke free. Of course, she decided to start ‘rebelling’ in her teen years. In human equivalents, she started this at the age of 15. At 15 years old, Cass was a gorgeous warrior and highly regarded royal figure. Her snow leopard pattern was more metallic and luster-filled than her tribe mates so it seemed. Her eyes, unlike her parents and many friends, were stunning metallic silver. She was definitely growing up to be a pretty girl—But with puberty came new feelings. And with these feelings came a bolder spirit. At night after her daily training and meditation, she began sneaking out and exploring parts of the territory she wasn’t allowed to . . . She started exploring the HUMAN world—Building and how the humans functioned. She’d been warned so many times about humans and how horrible they were . . . But she was interested. She also observed how she could SPEAK with the alley cats on the streets . . . They were related—It wasn’t hard to see. But then, why would these brethren walk on FOUR legs, not two like she did, and why were they pets to humans . . . ? It was all confusing, but so interesting for the young princess.
But then, of course, someone found out. Her lesser sister, the ‘ugly’ kit of the litter, the untalented one, the girl no one talked about, found out about Cass’s little secret. She kept it quiet for awhile . . . But only for awhile . . .
Things started to change for Cass—She started making friends amongst the super humans and the feline population. She became attached to them and their interesting ways and started to neglect her work in the tribe. Seeing this, her sister began to follow her again and met one of her sister’s human friends. He was a mutant and she found him interesting, just as Cass did. And she found ‘love’ in him and acceptance. The only problem was that Cass liked this super human too. This caused tension between the two sisters and both threatened to rat each other out to their father.
One day during training though, little Cassie finally snapped on her sister. She was tired of being called ‘perfect’ and the ‘better sister’. It wasn’t true. She was tired of having to be proper and the perfect example all the time. She just wanted a CHILDHOOD and FRIENDS like she had in the human territories. She decided to bust herself and tell everyone her secret before her sister could.
Upon finding out, her father seemingly did nothing and brushed off the revelation that his perfect daughter had gone against sacred rules and had been conversing with the outside world. He did nothing until that one fatal day . . .
A border war broke out between humans and the Xeadians. But now, the humans had super heroes on their side . . . Cass was forced to watch the humans kill her sister and mother . . . Seeing this, her father decided it was time to act. If Cass wouldn’t fight to her true potential, he’d make her. He grabbed the super human teen she and her sister had been crushing on, and demanded that she kill him. As a sign of respect to his order, and a sign to the humans that the Xeadians weren’t afraid to kill either.
Cass wouldn’t bring herself to kill her only friend and her only peak of interest. She disobeyed her father and turned to get back into the fight . . . And finally, the fight was deemed a tie. Everyone was injured and no one had succeeded anything . . .
But that night, Princess Cassiopeia’s fate was sealed by her own father. Using his magic, he bitterly told her that if she loved the cats and the humans so much, then she should be one as well.
He banished her from their tribe and put her in the middle of nowhere in a human city . . . And if that wasn’t enough, she was now a human. In her human form, she felt weak. So weak. She was only 5 feet tall now, had hardly any muscle, and had no control over her ancestors whispering in her head. They were yelling at her and she couldn’t understand their language anymore . . . That wasn’t it either. She couldn’t even control it as she began morphing into snow leopard, back to her Xeadian form, and then back to a human . . . It was hell. Torture. She had no one to help her in this horrible form and now had no control over her inner peace . . . Plus, she was now in place where she knew nothing.
1 human year passed, and she turned 24. Upon being alone for so long and having to constantly meditate and study just to remain calm, Cassiopeia is well educated in the ways of human and feline. She can now control when and how to morph and whether she wants to morph into her Xeadian, cat, or human form. Most of the time, she remained in her human form. Being so spiritual and now connected with her inner peace, Cass can now understand her Xeadian language even in human form. She’s constantly studying, constantly meditating, and always learning about the human world. She can speak Xeadian, English, and Spanish quite well and has learned through the many moons how technology works. Technology annoys her to no end, but she understands it somewhat. In her soft heart, though, she often helps humans that cry for help, deeming her ‘good’. For money, she works as a librarian and lives in a small apartment. She’s also named herself Cassandra to fit in more in the human world and doesn’t morph at all around her human counterparts. Often-times, she’s quietly napping, listening to what her ancestor spirits are saying . . .
At her young age, Cassandra has a lot of potential. She’s strong, able to morph, and wise beyond her years. She just doesn’t know how to apply her knowledge and strength. Of course, she knows well about the super heroes in her city—but she doesn’t really understand how to join and whatnot. As a beautiful, 24 year old human, she gets hit on a lot and must deal with pig-headed men on a daily basis. Love and finding a partner are of no importance to her. In fact, she actually seems to have no goals in life. She’s been banished from her tribe—the only things she’s worked for her entire life and now is living in a new world as a working human. What else COULD she really do . . . ?
Powers: Cassandra’s only true POWERS would be her morphing. Her morphing was once uncontrollable and caused by her confusing or curiosity of certain things. For example, when she wonders about a feline or snow leopard, she couldn’t control it—Her mind immediately morphed her into her snow leopard form. But now, she must focus and speak to the spirits in her mind. By chanting subconsciously and understanding their wishes, she can morph on her own accord. But now, she’s done it so many times, that she can morph in a matter of seconds. Her ancestors are in her mind, specifically because she was once a princess and future leader of her tribe. They speak through the leaders to guide their people. When Cass became human, she had to relearn the language all over again to realize that they were telling her HOW to morph and how to control it. She cannot lose sight of her mediation and staying calm while talking to the spirits, other wise she’ll start morphing uncontrollable as before.

Power Grid: One of you lovely mods, could you check over my grid? I’m still a bit confused about that whole system, so kindly, could you make sure this is correct in some sorts? Thanks~!
