Costume Description/Image: Lacey doesn't much see the value in a costume, but she does see the value in disguising herself. She, after all, wouldn't want someone to just instantly recognize her when she's wandering the streets. As such, her costume is really rather simple. Her costume consists of a dark cloak, mostly meant to conceal the two pistols strapped to her waist. It is often wrapped tightly around her, with her arms being kept outside of it for ease of use; even then though, the clothes she usually wears while using the cloak are just as dark as the cloak itself. These clothes usually consist of a long-sleeved shirt and black jeans. In addition to this, she wears ninja garb on her head. The only thing that would be visible under all this apparel would be her eyes, save for the fact that she typically wears goggles that heavily obscures people's view of her eyes.

Personality: Lacey is a complex individual in some ways, and a simple one in others. On one hand, she doesn't have any family to take care of her, and she lives on the streets, so on that front, she wants to make friends so that she doesn't feel so lost and alone. On the other hand, she is also suspicious of people and doesn't trust them too much; in addition to that, she tends to care about herself first before others, though she is extremely caring towards her friends. Aside from that, the other things about her are simple. In general, she's a good person who wishes to see change in the world, although she dislikes the established laws because they tend to get in the way of what a hero needs to do, such as take down villains. So, more often than not, she'll disregard laws she doesn't agree with in the name of the greater good. In addition to this, she's good at coming up with plans and, consequently, quite good at inventing things as well.

History: Lacey's life story is actually pretty typical, all things considered. Her father was an entrepreneur, and ran his business from home; in addition to that, her mother often stayed at home as well, due to an illness she had that prevented her from working in most professions. Lacey had a normal upbringing, with her mother and father doting on her; at the time, they were living in a house willed to them by her grandfather. She was bright, all things considered, and she skipped grades two times; her potential slowed down a bit then, but it never vanished.

All in all, up until when she was eleven, things were pretty normal in her life. Then the day came when she got her powers. They literally came from out of nowhere, at least in her perspective; she and her parents had been digging through the house for years to clean it up and make it look better than it was before, because they felt they owed it to her grandfather. While they were doing that, she came upon a mysterious object buried underneath one of the floorboards of the house, which she had investigated after discovering it was hollow. She had no idea if it was alien or mystical in origin, but it wasn't as if that mattered.

As soon as she came into contact with the object, two things happened. First in vanished in a brief flash of light, and she felt energy enter her body. The next thing that happened was that the energy seemed to struggle within her and, eventually, rushed out of her in a backlash or surge of energy. The house and everything in it, save for herself, was decimated. She was conscious during this all, and at the end, chose to run. She was smart, and she knew that the cops would likely think it was her; after all, it was extraordinarily suspicious for her to survive such a thing when her parents, who were nearby, didn't. So after the incident, she took to the streets.

Her took her a while to come to terms with what had happened, but after experimenting a bit, she found out two things. One, that she was smarter than she had been before, much smarter. Second, she seemed to have a much better reaction time, much better senses than before. It took her even longer to fully develop these abilities, but when she did, she made a choice. She would try to forget what she had indirectly caused, for she felt she wasn't to blame that much for what had happened, and become a hero, or at least, someone who fought on the side of good most of the time. Her first task was to find a place to live, and after deciding that she'd be too well-known in her hometown, even with some sort of costume, she left.

She now wanders from place to place, occasionally staying somewhere for long periods of time if she feels safe. Typically what she does is find some sort of abandoned warehouse or, barring that, some sort of apartment that's empty due to its inhabitants being on vacation or something similar. As of now, she has been getting along just fine via doing this, although she worries that sooner or later she'll be found out by someone, somewhere, at sometime.

Powers: Her first power is simple, and that is her heightened intelligence compared to before. More often than not she focuses this intelligence on building inventions and the like, though it isn't rare for her to formulate a plan with the same intelligence either.

Her second power is much more useful, and that is basically her heightened senses. She can smell much better, hear much better, feel much better, and see much better; thankfully, her ability to taste wasn't touched. Another thing that happened was that her speed was heightened a bit as well. The most useful asset for her, however, is the fact that her reaction time was also changed, which means she reacts more quickly to things. In combination with her enhanced senses, this serves to help her let out streams of bullets at a target at once before moving onto another target; in cases where she decides that she doesn't have enough firepower, it isn't rare for her to waste a lot of bullets on just one target because she wants to make sure it hits.

Character Image/Description: Out of her hero garb she's quite a different person, at least in appearance. Her black hair falls down to her shoulders, and it's actually possible to see her eyes while out of hero garb, though she still does have goggles strapped around her neck, mostly because sometimes the sun is intense on her eyes. Although it isn't obvious in her hero garb, she's rather pale as well, and it's easy to see that she's malnourished, considering her low weight. Much like in her hero garb, however, she typically wears jeans and long-sleeved shirts, though the color isn't always black, considering how conspicuous that might be.

Roleplay Sample: The ruins of a building were around her, and she caught her breath as she stared around; there was nothing left standing. She looked back to the box that she had pulled the strange object from, and frowned; the box was gone, as was the strange object. It had been a sphere, and it had also been emanating an odd, purple light; in hindsight, that should have sent off warning signals to her, but she had recklessly ignored those signals. She then remembered; her parents! If the energy had obliterated the house...what had it done to her parents?

Hesitantly, and slowly, she stood up before moving towards where she knew her father had been. When she arrived, she saw the body of her father, his organs looking like they had pushed themselves out. She nearly fell over, almost sick with the sight of it; as she looked away to try and find her way out, she spotted her mother. That...that was definitely the breaking point; without further adieu, the young girl rushed out of the ruins quickly and threw up. Both her parents, dead. Her infected with...with something; she could still feel the energy pulsing inside of her. What was it? Why her? Those questions didn't matter too much then, because another thought came to her; surely the neighbors would be investigating soon.

After all, houses didn't just randomly get destroyed.

So, what was she to do? She could go back into the house, and wait, but...they would find it suspicious. The cops, that is. Why did she survive when her mother and father, two adults, did not? And even if they didn't think it suspicious, they would run tests on her to make sure she wasn't hurt or anything; would they discover the energy she could still feel inside of her? She wasn't sure, but her instincts were telling her that it would be a terrible idea to wait for cops to show up. So should she run away? She didn't want to; she had liked how her life was going and, momentarily, wished that time would reverse, or that she would wake up and discover it was a bad dream. But she didn't wake up.

It was real.

She got up from the ground she had thrown herself onto before throwing up, and glanced around; no one was investigating, but it was only a matter of time. Her logical skills were taking over; she had to run away, out of the town. They would surely recognize her eventually and turn her in. Where should she go, however? She did not know; she would figure that out when she had more time. Everything was easier when you had more time to deal with. Taking a deep breath to prepare herself for the journey she was about to make, the young girl known as Lacey walked away from the ruins of the house. She would put it behind her, what had just happened; she would try to discover what, exactly, had happened. What was this mysterious energy she could feel in herself? What was it doing to her?

She wasn't sure she wanted to find out.

Hm, I thought that since she was 14 and under that she had 4 less points to work with, leaving her with just 18 points?

Regardless, I changed that bit. Added 3 into FS, and 1 more into speed. Bumped her age down slightly as well, since she logically would have started to go through puberty already, and yet, she doesn't show any signs of it.
