"Well meet me back here, in 3 days." Phoenix said. Guessing from the sound of the girls voice she wasn't much older than 12 or 13. "I will get you a phone only we can talk on. I can get us communicators too." Phoenix said. "Now Kal, don't worry I know I said i'm putting together a team. But, I am not a Nazi, and you will be free to come and go as you please." Phoenix expected a harder argument from the two, and was pleasantly surprised. "I only ask, you do not kill unless you have to."

Gauntlet looked up at Phoenix with a blank stare, he observed the character in front of him. He spoke plainly. "I make no promises about my life outside our team. But while we're as a team, I promise to hold back from reckless killing."

Three days...even staying that long in New York City seemed dangerous, not only because of Pain, but because of the villains that also prowled the city. Yes, her staying there would be tough, but not if she stayed in the place she was hiding out in, watching TV for most of the day, or surfing the web; she particularly liked doing that, if only because it let her easily communicate with the world. "A phone huh? Funny, I've never gotten gifts before. As for no killing? I'm sorry, but I don't know if I'd be able to follow that. Killing is a necessity, at times. If someone's aiming to kill you, you should be totally willing to kill them in kind, especially if they're going after an innocent person." Dakka replied, furrowing her eyebrows just a bit; that was the only change they could really see from her save for the rough edge her young voice had just taken.

"Dakka, I agree, when your life is on the line, sometimes actions need to be taken. I just ask you try and restrain yourself whenever possible" Phoenix said. "Now if you two need a place to stay, my friend has a condo he doesn't use. I have the keys to. I figured we were gunna use that as our HQ anyway in the basement." Phoenix said. He was happy that he was now starting to achieve his dream, and create a team of crime fighters. He had plans for this city, big plans. "One last thing, I need a basic rundown of both your powers. i can explain mine too after if you'd like" Phoenix said.
